"Following its recent landing at Seaport Village, Mr. Moto Pizza will arrive in Little Italy on Wednesday, April 14. This is the eighth location overall for the local pizzeria, which was founded in Pacific Beach in 2015 and now includes branches in Encinitas, North Park, and Ocean Beach. Taking over the 980-square-foot corner space on India Street that formerly housed Napizza, Mr. Moto replaces the pizza al taglio spot with its New York-style slices and whole pies that range from the Smoky Greens pizza topped with spinach, ricotta, garlic and balsamic glaze to build-your-own options." - Candice Woo

Wow! Really thin crust, Really good pizza. AND you can order by the slice with no hassle. Adequate amount of toppings, good variety. Also got the stuffed garlic knots. Person behind the counter recommended a ranch dipping sauce and that was super tasty as well. Good place! (Oh and and I lived in Jersey for 20 plus years so that says something about my knowledge of Pizza!)

Came here while visiting family. I went here while visiting downtown area. Met family that was in from out of town. Mr Moto was busy with walk up customers and sit down customers. They have plenty of selection for everyone. They serve alcohol 🍺 and sodas 🥤 For me the pizza 🍕 was extremely greasy to the point of dripping all over your plate. Make sure to have plenty of napkins. For the price it was good!

Google
I love authentic pizza hand tossed right in front of you. Lots of different varieties of pizzas great specials and beer on tap. Also great service, I think it's clever to name the pizzas cool names. I bought the wave, mama Mia looked good as well.

Google
My significant other and I LOVE this pizza. The service here is always excellent and the prices are very reasonable. The pizza by the slice + beer combo makes for a great last minute dinner date.

Google
The pizza is a little different here in a good way. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but is cozy inside. In addition to the great food, they had a good assortment of drinks. Beyond that, the staff was over the top good.

Google
The pies and salads here are amazing. The Mama Moto Pie is the best I’ve ever had. Whenever I visit Leo always seems to be working and he couldn’t be more accommodating and friendly, he truly makes the experience.

This is absolutely delicious pizza, some of the best I've ever had. That being said, the availability of it is a little iffy because they seem to make a full pizza and cut slices from that to reheat for a few hours. If you happen to go when your favorite pizza is already gone, you're kind of out of luck. Also, as delicious as most of their pizzas are, it's a little disconcerting to watch them cut your chosen slice from their display case and reheat it. It's hard to tell how long these pizzas have been in the case for the day, so I sometimes wonder as they reheat it in their oven. Ideally, I really should start asking when the pizza was made that day before I order it. Service wise: it's pretty decent, but it can take a little while to get your food because they only seem to prepare one person's food at a time (at least in regards to reheating pizza). If you come in a group, be prepared to get your pizza in intervals. Oh and as far as I can tell, and I might be wrong about this, they don't seem to sell full pizzas, just by the slice. But like I said, I'm probably wrong about that. Onto the atmosphere. The place itself is rather small, there are some wheelchair accessible booths, but the accessible parts do block the main walk way a bit. Outside there are some tables with umbrellas that are pretty nice, however last time I went, some of the wicker chairs were kind of busted and I had to pull from other tables for a party of four.

Google
This business just replaced a former Napizza at this location. I liked Napizza more, but the pizza here is good. You can get pre-made individual slices with a good selection of toppings. Not bad for reheated pizza and it's very convenient. I had a pepperoni slice and a Mama Moto slice. The crust was very flaky and tender but crispy too. Not much flavor and no hint of good olive oil. Sauce and toppings were fine. Not up to Napizza or URBN pizza in terms of taste but for the price it's a good deal. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a small amount of socially-distanced indoor and outdoor seating. The bathroom was clean. Parking along South Coast Highway is limited but there's a free parking garage just a half block south and also a free lot around the corner on South Vulcan Ave.

Yelp
One of the best pizza places I've been to! I spent the weekend in Rosarito with family and on the way back I got hungry and stopped in Encinitas. The dispensary next door is the reason this establishment caught my eye in all honesty. Best decision I made was choosing this restaurant over the others that were crowded. We ordered the Mr. Moto and the California love pizza slices as well as the stuffed garlic knots. What made the pizza the best was honestly the service provided by the employee Leo. He went above and beyond to help us choose what we liked. He cooked everything and made sure it was fresh, and not overcooked. He also didn't disappoint in the choice of beer to go with my pizza!! On top of that he even checked up on us to see what we thought of everything. What else can you ask for?! BEST PIZZA AND BEER COMBO! CANT BEAT THE PRICE!!

Yelp
I'm always in search of really good pizza and rarely satisfied with what I find, but Mr Moto Pizza hit the spot and left me smiling. One of the few pizza places that's as happy to serve by the slice as sell you a whole pie. All of their pizzas have fun names, the staff is laid back and the service is spot on. They have a few tables inside and a few outside in the sidewalk. The pizza is fresh and full of flavor. Thin crust, easily foldable with a little crunch and full of flavorful cheese and toppings. Mr Moto Pizza is a great place to stop in for a quick slice or to grab a whole pie to bring to bring home on Pizza Night!

Yelp
So I was walking down Encinitas Blvd just going for a visit, when I came across a pizza shop that was looking quite exquisite. It was a school day, and I knew what was in there, the perfect thing I needed to start off the school year. Two slices of pizza and a garlic knot for $11.99, after I tried it I knew I could see myself here all of the time. So please listen to the message that I say -- if you're hungry then you need to come here with your friends like every day.

Yelp
Stopped in after walking the street fair. It's a small, little pizza shop. We ordered 2 slices of The Hulk and they were yummy. The pizza wasn't as crispy, it started to fall apart when we picked it up, but it was still delicious. Same concept as East Coast Pizza in Cardiff. You can order by slice, whole pizza, they also have garlic knots and calzones. The people were super nice and friendly. Definitely coming back to try to the other items. If you are strolling on 101, stop for a slice!

Yelp
On weekends my wife and I love to travel down to the San Diego area and Encinitas has become one of our favorites. The streets are lined with quality cafes, coffee shops and eateries and Mr Moto is a definite favorite of mine. As soon as I stepped through the door and saw the various pies staring back at me, I knew I was in the right place. Everything from the fresh ingredients to the sheer variety of the menu is a win. They have so many options to choose from but for me the Red Mess, The Pepperoni and the California Love were all winners. Whether you want a whole pie or just pizza by the slice this is the place to be in the area. All of the slices were piping hot and cooked to perfection and the garlic knots were also amazingly good and flavorful. The place is relatively small so seating may be challenging during peak hours but I was grabbing a few slices to go so it was not an issue for me. The pricing is pretty good at around $14 for 3 large slices and a soda (flavors can be mixed) and the service was great as well. I definitely look forward to a return visit the next time I am down in the area. If you love pizza, I highly recommend coming in and checking our their offerings.

Mariah S.

Yelp
Ordered two pizza slices. They were very cheesy and flavorful. I especially liked the tomato sauce which really complemented the cheese. The toppings were plentiful and tasty. The service was friendly and fast! My favorite item is the stuffed knots but they forgot to include the marinara sauce with my order and I forgot to ask until it I realized it was missing. Can't wait to come back!

Justin C.

Yelp
This is the best pizza place in Encinitas. When other places won't answer their phone (ahem... corner/buona/...others) or take your order online on a busy Friday night, Mr Moto has a really efficient online ordering and turn around time. 20 minutes on a Friday!!!! To top it off, their staff is super friendly and their pizza is really really good! It reminds me of the old Manhattan Giant model and pizza! Salads are great, it's only takeout or delivery which is fine with me! Definitely give them a try!!

Crystal K.

Yelp
Stopped by for lunch before the tropical storm kicks off. Love this location of Mr Moto! The staff are so attentive and friendly, and they took care of us so quickly. It's a smaller location, but they have plenty of seating for dining in. We got the Mr Moto (burrata!) and Rocky Mountains (meatballs & ricotta), and an order of Spaghetti & Meatballs too. It all came out piping hot and fresh. Absolutely loved everything!

Love Lv F.

Yelp
Great food, great service. We stopped in to grab some pizza. We got the vegetable and a pepperoni slice. Also some garlic knots and a stuffed knot with spinach. The vegetable slice was delicious. The stuffed knot.. I could have eaten a dozen. Soft bread, filled with cheese and spinach, so delicious. I will definitely be back.

Jenna S.

Yelp
We had a really great experience at Mr Moto Pizza! We had been wanting to try the pizza for so long and are so glad we were finally were able to! We love finding places that offer pizza by the slice, so that we can try different kinds. We got a slice of cheese, the California Love, and the Mission Blvd. They all tasted really great and were fresh. My favorite was the classic cheese! We were also happy too with the amount of non-red sauce options they have. The service was really great. There was a large group of boys in front of us that each ordered their own pizzas, and the workers didn't seem phased by it. We got our pizza slices quickly. We will definitely be back soon!!

Yelp
Gotta give this location 1-Star. Came into the Mr. Moto in Encinitas for lunch on Christmas Eve. I enjoy the PB store so figured I'd come in here for the first time. I showed the young lady at the register the coupon you get when you check-in on Yelp. She said that they don't accept it anymore. She was not very kind about it. That's a problem. It's bait and switch and it is dishonest. To pull a stunt like that on Christmas Eve just made it feel even that more greedy on their part. If you're going to engage in dishonest business practices in order to squeeze your customers at least put out some good pizza. I got two slices of the Chunky Red Mess but it was more along the lines of Oily Mess. I threw the second piece in the garbage and didn't even bother with the garlic knot. This Mr. Moto is a low quality pizza place and I now understand why every restaurant on the street had lines out the door and these guys had nobody in the shop.

Suz C.

Yelp
Came here after the beach and we are so happy we did! We love a good thin crust pizza and Mr. Moto's did not disappoint!!! We ordered a few slices and sodas to eat there and ordered a large pepperoni pizza to go! The pizza case had good choices, and we went with Rocky Mountains, Mama Moto and Mission Blvd. We also ordered a few garlic knots to try as well! All were delicious! The guys at the front were super nice! The place had a cool, bright and airy vibe and was super clean and chill. The slices and whole pie came out surprisingly fast, which is always a good thing when you've been playing at the beach the whole day! Will definitely be a go to when going to D St. Beach from now on! Love this spot and can't wait to try some more pizza!

Steven Alan D.

Yelp
Although I wasn't planning on ordering while accompanying a friend who was buying some garlic knots, the staff here was so friendly that I decided to grab a piece of pizza. Rylee was so kind and helpful! She even went so far as to ask me how my day was going... In today's day and age, that's going above and beyond the call of duty for customer service. I ordered the Prosciutto Pizza with Italian Sausage. Gael put his special touch on the pizza before placing it in the oven. He was very kind as well and was very helpful with the pizza selection. I cannot say enough positive things about the customer service at this location. The pizza was absolutely amazing! Perfectly baked, soft, chewy, and savory with the right amount of oil. If you dip it in ranch dressing, then you will visit Paradise for a brief moment... The ambiance is nice & trendy with a neon light photo booth area to catch your Instagram moment. The youth hanging out in the restaurant on a weekend night were quiet and respectful, which was a pleasant surprise. This place provides a prime opportunity to get your pizza fix... Great job, Rylee & Gael!

Brett A.

Yelp
Phenomenal first time experience. The impact of going above and beyond in customer service is always such a big factor in the experience. The way we were greeted when we walked in by Antonio and his passion behind the menu and setting up right for a small birthday party following escape room made it so much more than a normal pizza experience--could not have been happier. The Rocky Mountain is a must have with the hot honey.

Trecia L.

Yelp
We wanted to try out a new pizza place and Mr. Moto pizza been on our list. We ordered a half & half takeout. Half Smokey Greens & half Mr. Moto. Parking on the 101 is tough. We weren't sure where would have been the best place to park. There's a shopping strip about two blocks south. Instead, my husband dropped me off to run in while he looked for a space to wait. When we got home, the pizza was still hot. It was tasty and the crust was great too.

Stef I.

Yelp
Mr Moto I take back everything I said. Revisited today and the friendly service made my day! Also your stuffed garlic spinach knots with hot honey will keep me coming back again and again. Thanks for listening!

Thomas T.

Yelp
So, the food is actually pretty decent. The prices are actually pretty fair if you know how to order. Make a single order misstep, and suddenly, the exact same item can double or triple in price. This is a legitimate interaction I had: call me, tell me they can't fulfill my order, ask me to replace a part of my order AND come 20 additional min later. I show up, order isn't done and they say- no joke- do you want what we've made and to come back for what isn't ready in 10 more min? 20 min later, the missing item still hasn't arrived. An apology hasnt been offered once. This shows a level of disdain for your customers that is embarrassing. You aren't Michelin starred.... the insanity of this behavior.

Danny B.

Yelp
Stopped in for a quick bite while walking around and usually the place is swarming, but I found a nice window seat. The staff was friendly and inviting and were really easy to talk to. The pizza was good with a crunchy bottom and large slice portions. They had a good deal too for two slices and a beer with a decent beer selection.

Allison L.

Yelp
Amazing pizza! I've always heard of Mr. Motto's but for some reason never stopped by. I've always lumped "by the slice" pizza places together as the same quality but this place really stood out in taste and customer service. My favorite flavor was what the lady described as their margherita pizza. Tastes SO fresh. Perfect thickness. Another honorable mention is their spinach, ricotta, and balsamic pizza. Also tastes super fresh. Love that their pizzas aren't overloaded with tomato sauce. I might just come back tomorrow, it was that good!

Lisa H.

Yelp
Pizza was burnt and too salty. Mr Moto Encinitas branch was terrible. The Little Italy branch was so much better.

William H.

Yelp
This was my first time at this Pizza place. The staff was friendly and the pizza was pretty good! Very tasty and I loved the thin crust! I would have given this place a higher score except for the fact that I tried to pay with a $20 bill and the worker behind the counter said "sorry, but we don't take CASH!" So my buddy said, "oh I have my card with me and he paid....YOU DON'T TAKE "LEGAL CASH MONEY"????? So even though I like the pizza, I will NOT be going back to a place that doesn't accept the Good Ole American Dollar!!!!!! NO NO NO!!!!! Cash is still "LEGAL TENDER"!! And the thing that really got me was they have a "Tip Jar" right on the counter which had "Dollar Bills" in it!!! So can't pay with Cash, yet want Cash Tips!!! And I know it's not the workers fault, but for a small business not to accept Cash MONEY!!! NO! I won't be going back or telling my friends to go there!!

Tara C.

Yelp
There's a lot of pizza joints in the area to go to but you gotta go to this one! Look at my picture, LOOK AT IT! It's beautiful! The crispy but yet soft chewy crust with the tasty meats all over its body! I'm in love! Don't get me started on the stuffed garlic knots! One word= SpinachandRicottaCheeseDippedinRanch! You're welcome! :) Then there's the pepperoni and jalapeños(?) not very sure since I didn't get a bite of it since hubby inhaled it! Service: When we walked in there wasn't anyone behind the counter at first but then we were greeted by a lady and tall male. They were fast and patient with us. Super friendly!

Danielle L.

Yelp
I LOVE MR. MOTOS, so this review kills me to write it. BUT the food we just had was honestly horrible. We ordered (3) salads, (2) pepperoni pizzas, wings, and spaghetti. I drove 45 mins down from Orange County and was very disappointed by the quality. First, the pepperonis were different from previous orders. Disgusting, thick, and barely cooked. The sauce minimal, barely a taste? The spaghetti and meatballs, once 3 full meatballs with lots of delicious marinara were now cut into tiny pieces and tasted like old salty water?? I can't even do it justice to describe. Finally, the salads. For some reason the recipe changed in this as well. Previously, the feta that was sprinkled throughout now comes in one huge square. Our family looked forward to this dinner, so to spend as much as we did and have this experience, was truly a bummer. Hope recipes go back to basics.

Julia B.

Yelp
Food was good, so disappointed i didnt upgrade the pepperoni pizza slice it looked really good. Good crust. Person in front seemed kind of mean but out a fake smile on towards the end. Would rate 7.9/10

Michael Q.

Yelp
BILLY BILLY BILLY!! This place has the best pizza, but the employees somehow seem to overshadow their pizza with the coolness. Chase is also a very nice guy and made our complete dining experience outrageous!! Thank you all very much, and please keep up the good work

Kyle M.

Yelp
We ordered delivery a couple weeks ago and they were super polite. The pizza was so darn good, especially with the hot honey drizzled over it. The stuffed garlic knots are winners. We were so pleased with the food we stopped in for a couple slices a few days later.

Katherine P.

Yelp
So many great options for pizza by the slice. The crust is crispy and still doughy which totally hit the spot. I wasn't even that hungry but scarfed it down it was THAT good. They also have pasta, calzones and Strombolis. Located on the strip with tons of other restaurants so lots of choices but I would go back.

Gabbie B.

Yelp
This is by far the best pizza I've had since moving to San Diego! The slices are HUGE and the perfect texture of thin crunchy crust but still staying sturdy. I would highly recommend getting their "furious diablo" buffalo pizza. It's to die for. They also let you do half n half which is a game changer if you can't choose between flavors! This is your sign to go grab some pizza

Audrey P.

Yelp
I stopped into MOJO pizza while I was down in Encinitas. They had a great selection of pizza and you could choose them by the slice. You had me at slice! I chose two with meat n veggies. They heated them up for me, boxed it all up and I had a great conversation with the two gentlemen running the counter. They have a Yelp check in discount and it was quite significant around 25%. What a deal! I drove all the way back to Poway and had my 2 slices...absolutely delicious! Thank you!!!

James K.

Yelp
Super great place. The garlic knots are my son's favorite food in SD. And he is a pretty picky eater. The staff at this location are super nice, friendly, and we had a great lunch. The soda is delicious here as well.

Nicolo D.

Yelp
Absolutely love this spot, the service is unmatched and the food quality is amazing as well. Leo is always smiling and gives the best service. I first tried this spot in PB and when I found out they opened one in Encinitas was beyond stoked. Proud regular who can't speak highly enough of this place. Need to try the stuffed garlic knots they are an amazing pizza alternative. 10/10

Travis M.

Yelp
Best service ever!!! On point New York style pizza and we had a great time in the ambience.

Arlene P.

Yelp
Getting back to normal review 17 WOW. If NY style pizza married Napoletana pizza, this would be their baby. I came in with minutes till closing and got the Mama Moto...like a margarita pizza but add truffle oil. Mmm...marry me. Lol. And to top it off the gentleman who rang me up was so personable and helpful. The bathrooms needed cleaning but hey, it was almost closing time. To top off the great experience, as I was exiting, I think it was the pizzaiolo, by the way he was dressed, he stepped aside and said, "Ladies always go first. " ok! Mr. Moto, you officially have a raving fan.i can't wait to visit the other locations in PB , La Jolla and Point Loma.

Taj A.

Yelp
After finishing up a job in Encinitas, I lurked for a couple blocks trying to decide which place I should visit for a pint and some grub before I headed back to LA. Pizza is always a good idea, but judging by the way the pizza looked in the window I didn't realize just how great these slices would end up being. I felt it was going to be at least pretty good judging by the average rating on this site. I took advantage of the $15.50 2 slice and 1 beer special. I got the Hulk, one other I can't remember and a pint of Karl Strauss IPA that has the psychedelic font on it. This beer was really good! My food only took 5-8 min to heat up. I grabbed the two slices, some Parmesan and red pepper and parked at the front window seat and ate while people watching the people of Encinitas. This place has some of the best slices in America in my opinion. Good crust, size and delicious toppings while not being greasy or giving me a stomach ache. (I'm really sensitive to lots of pizza, love the taste but 1/2 the time feel sick after. Maybe it's cuz I usually eat too much LOL) Anyways, I really enjoyed my meal. As I was savoring each bite I noticed an older lady on a motorized cart eating her ice cream, passing by. We locked eyes and nodded, smiling. Good Pizza and ice cream just give us humans so much joy, right? They know what they're doing here. The staff was cool and I hope to work in Encinitas more often so I can eat here again. Cheers!

Dicky L.

Yelp
Based on solely pizza Mr. Moto is comparable to East Coast or Best Za in Cardiff. Service wise... MM is far below meeting expectations. We came with 4 adults and 4 kids to eat in. We ordered a few things and of course a pie. We sat by and waited while people came in and left with their food and still no pizza. After 30 minutes (no one else was there), kids getting frisky... I asked about the pizza and the chef pointed at the box sitting there for who knows how long, to the 4 or 5 other staff just standing around. Now that we got a pizza, would it be acceptable to get plates and napkins? Instead of offering, the staff was kind of annoyed we wanted stuff to eat. Bottom line is pizza was decent, but the experience left me not wanting to cone back.

Bill S.

Yelp
Decent thin crust pizza. The challenge here is that the customer service is awful. Stood waiting for several minutes without acknowledgement - they're busy I get it. I had ordered for pick up at a guaranteed time and they hadn't even started it by the time, blaming it on a large catering order (not my problem). I don't really blame the people, they just seem stressed. Looks like an uninspiring place to work.

Narin J.

Yelp
Excited this place is on DoorDash now! I think it's been in this spot for 6 months or a year but I've never gotten around to trying it until lo and behold - they popped up on DoorDash! The hubs is super picky about pizza as he is from NY and I need a gluten free pie. It's hard for a pizza place to make us both happy but Mr. Moto hit the spot. We got a plain large cheese pie and a gluten free build your own for me. I added burrata and basil and it was delicious! I also want to add it is a full 14", a lot of other gluten frees are only 10". The pies have a nice sauce to cheese ratio, the regular pies are east coast thin style, and there is a garlic flavor that comes through, maybe garlic salt or in the sauce? I'm excited to have found this place and this will be our go-to for pizza delivery.

Pete Q.

Yelp
The pizza is great. The location is fantastic. But my god. Billy is an outstanding guy. Really talked to us and told us what was in every pizza and even recommended the great garlic knots with some mikes hot honey sauce. Even sent us over to Baked bear after for dessert which was an excellent recommendation. I could not speak more highly about this location of mr motos. The vibe was fantastic. Billy is easily the best person in customer service, friendliness, and helpfulness that I have ever encountered in my life. He was honestly so great that I would recommend going just to have your day made better by Billy if nothing else. But the pizza is also big and very tasty me and my best friend mike chowed down like never before. We surfed all day and were starving and my god was Billy and Mr moto the right place to end up. Every other restaurant in the area wouldnt have given us nearly the value, quality of food, or service provided by Billy at Mr Moto Pizza. I would stop long out of my way to eat at this location again. MUST GO IF YOU ARE HUNGRY GREAT FOOD FOR GREAT PRICES

Shaza A.

Yelp
Nice new location in the heart of downtown Encinitas, just sit outside and enjoy the pizza, courteous employees. They offer a huge variety of options, you can order my pizza or slice. They have 2 sides pizza available 18" and 15". They give you free knot for each of you are new follower on Instagram. When I was there before the thanksgiving they were giving %20 off of the bill if you check in yelp for your first order, I believe they still have it. Overall nice experience and I will come again. Love all Moto pizza locations and this is not less.

Abby Y.

Yelp
Service: Polite staff and fast service, ordered with five other people and they had our orders out pretty fast (5/5) Atmosphere: In a nice area, clean and cute restaurant with lots of indoor seating, pretty clean bathroom (4.5/5) Food: - Mamma Moto: mozzarella, ricotta, tomatoes, parsley. My personal favorite (my vegetarian friends also loved it). Flavorful but light and not overbearing, perfect texture and size (5/5) - Mr. Moto: mozzarella, ricotta, pepperoni, sausage, bacon. Another staple in my order, perfect for any meat lovers. Not greasy, perfect amount of sauce and meat, pairs great with ranch (5/5) - Spinach and ricotta garlic knots: I could eat these forever. Perfect amount of garlic, has a nice crunch, the spinach and ricotta balance it out so nicely. Goes well with ranch or marinara (5/5) All the other pictured pizzas were our friends' so we didn't try them but everyone loved everything. Absolutely no complaints about Mr. Moto's, we've gone to every location in San Diego and they never miss. We rarely give out 5 stars but you can never go wrong with this place.

Charles A.

Yelp
The meat slice was great, crispy crust and great flavor. The other slice, with pesto, had great flavor but the crust was doughy and had to be torn, couldn't be folded and eaten as it should be. $5 slice? maybe on a different day.

Matt S.

Yelp
I came here on a day where it looked like the staffing was struggling. They were out of several beers, and the poor gal at the counter was being run ragged. That said, the environment is inviting and it is a nice little spot. They have a nice variety of pizzas, and they are all thin crust with a light airy dough. Fair price, too.

Joanne S.

Yelp
Slices were good a very nice young lady named Penelope helped us. We appreciated her lovely service despite clearly being over worked with costumers and how understaffed it was. She served me efficiently and the pizza was cooked to perfection. Will maybe come back when it's less busy.

Shartania T.

Yelp
Honestly this place isn't all that. I've had much better pizza for better prices. Also this place gave me a horrid stomach ache and forgot my ranch. Other than that it's pretty good.

Caroline P.

Yelp
If you are looking for a better than average piece of pizza in a hurry Mr. Moto will do the trick. A great place to stop in after a day at the beach. You do get 25% off if you check in on yelp We tried the Buffalo chicken and California love pizza. Both were super tasty fun flavors! However the wings were sub-par. Definitely not made with love as they tasted like something I got out of my own freezer from a Tyson chicken bag. Don't you just love a pizza and wing place that can do both well? This is not that place. As far as atmosphere goes, it's not bad, but it doesn't scream I'm passionate about pizza and customer service given its run by a couple nice teenagers.

Yelp
Love everything about the pizzas. We found out about this place from an SD local, YouTuber, jaycation. We went to Seaport and decided to give this a try. Hubby picked out several slices for us to try. Our boys loved it (1yo and 4yo) It was easy for them to eat, only when it's fresh! (We bought it the second time from a different location and it was far away from out hotel - the pizza got kinda cold and hard, it was okay for us, but the boys had a hard time eating it.) Anyways, It was cheesy and light. It didn't feel heavy eating it and the texture of the pizza was easy for the boys to bite into as they don't like it when the pizza is too hard. We also got some Stromboli stuffed in cheese and jalapeño. Man it was delish!! Hubby is missing this place and want to go back and try their other specials and slices that we haven't tried.

Yelp
Waiting here as we speak with two sweet employees running around as they're swamped and in need of more employees. Our last experience here was great, today I was not able to use the check-in offered on Yelp for 25% off that I'd already activated for this location AND was not able to use the cash I'd brought in to pay for our order. 4 gluten free pizzas and a salad at 110 plus the tip I feel felt obligated to leave the poor understaffed employees. Get it together Mr. Moto, our family won't support a "Cash free" business either.

Yelp
We were very excited to try Mr. Moto's pizza after stopping in for a slice a few weeks ago. We ordered for pick up over the phone and was told the wait would be around 25 minutes. Unfortunately, when we got there (about 30 minutes after making the call), we were told that our pizza was not made yet and that we would have to wait for it to be cooked. After waiting inside the restaurant for 20-25 minutes after initial arrival, I was handed our pizza and a card for a free pizza for a following visit. This was a kind gesture, but did not make up for much as the pizza I was handed was completely raw. We attempted to cook it through at home, however it was simply inedible. Not the best first impression.
