Mr. Moto Pizza Seaport Village

What a great spot! We found Mr. Moto in little Italy, glad they have a place here too! We love their pizza! The knots are delicious too! We love the slice option and specials! The red sauce is really good. I got a Cesar salad, it's a good size for 2 people if you're also having pizza, but way too many croutons for me.

Mr. Moto Pizza in Seaport Village is a great spot for a casual and enjoyable meal. I ordered two slices—one pepperoni and another with honey (and some other toppings I can’t quite remember), along with two beers and a garlic knot. The pizza was really good, New York-style, and the beer was great too. The atmosphere is what really makes this place stand out. If you go around 5 or 6 PM, the sun starts setting, and you get a beautiful view of the ocean with boats passing by. You can sit at the outdoor bar, which gives you a perfect spot to take it all in. Service was friendly, the food came out quickly, and overall, for the price, the view, and the whole experience, I’d say it was excellent. Definitely a place I’d come back to. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, it’s definitely worth a stop.

We randomly ended up at Mr. Moto Pizza after failing to find the restaurant we originally planned to visit, and honestly, we're so glad we did. The pizza was absolutely delicious. The crust was thin and perfectly crispy on the bottom, and the toppings were well-balanced and full of flavor. The slices topped with burrata cheese were especially amazing, rich, creamy, and just the right touch to make them stand out. The service was also great: friendly and fast. Plus, the prices were very reasonable for the quality. Sometimes the best meals come from unexpected changes in plans. We’d definitely come back here and recommend it to anyone looking for great pizza in the area.

Great late night option after the convention as it remains open till 9:30pm PDT while others close at 9 or earlier. But keep in mind the variety of slices will be limited since they're only serving what's available. I recommend the Moto slices. Those were my favorite out of everything I've tried there. They also have good deals where with a number of slices, you get a drink with it. I believe it's 3 slices and a drink for $17. Seating area size is limited but it's nothing to worry about as there's a lot of areas where you can take the slices to eat. Cash and card accepted.

Disappointing Experience at Mr. Moto Pizza I recently visited Mr. Moto Pizza with the intention of trying their Stromboli. Not being familiar with their specific ingredients, I sought clarification from the staff. When I inquired about the typical fillings, the employee responded that I could choose whatever I wanted. After selecting three ingredients, I was surprised to find an additional $9 charge on my bill. When I asked for an explanation, the employee became unresponsive and refused to discuss the matter further. Expressing my dissatisfaction, I mentioned I would be writing a review about my experience, to which she curtly replied, “Do whatever you want.” This level of customer service is unacceptable ( if you keep scrolling down, you’ll see I’m not the only one that has had this problem ). Clear communication about menu items and associated costs is fundamental in the food industry. Moreover, treating customers with respect should be a given. I hope Mr. Moto Pizza addresses these issues to prevent similar experiences for future patrons.

Great pizza in an amazing atmosphere! Also super friendly staff! A must visit if you're looking for New York style pizza in Seaport take it from me I was born and raised in NY!

I would say I’m a pizza connoisseur. And this place is in the upper 10% of pizza establishments I have been to. Atmosphere was great, the staff was great, and the pizza was exquisite. We had the gluten-free option and I actually like it better than original crust.

Pizza was not like you ordinary Pizza. I loved that they had different flavors. I’m usually a pepperoni pizza girl but I tried the Chicken Buffalo and California love pizza, both of them were amazing. Blew my tastebuds away! Also tried the garlic knots, the right amount of garlic and butter

This was some great freakin pizza! My family of four and I visited here on a Saturday night and it was packed! There is not a lot of seating and the inside is super small- but if it's full, just take your food to go and take it around the back to the food court where there is plenty of seating. We got four slices of pizza and done stuffed garlic knots (the one without the meat) and EVERYTHING was so good! I also didn't know that this was a chain and that there is a Mr. Moto in Vegas where I live so I am so so so excited to get more moto pizza here! Just sad I won't have an epic sunset over the ocean to accompany it!

From the many pizza places that I have seen there are those that have the premade dough and the ones that ofwrcokk the pizza yet there are some which have the best in flavor The things that make up the great flavors for the toppings and the taste of freshly made sauce with some of the best toppings that makes the pizza explode.. The location that has some of the best restaurants for the many foods they have in Little Italy and the second location of Seaport Village. It has the best flavor of the specialty slices of Calif love and great sausage pizza for the Little Italy location has the atmosphere of the little Italy and the fresh Ingredients makes the nightts great for pizza for couples . The many times that I've gone for lunch the many people that come for lunch the selection of drinks you can have with your lunch . Mr Moto in the Little Italy have great cooks for the pizzas you have the many flavors the one of the best is the barbecue chicken and the meat lovers that has great sauce. For little Italy has been the home of pizza for the many locations when you come to a Mr Moto's and see the the old style mixers you know that pizza is made fresh . As a Yelp Elite Reviewer the many pizzas which are here in San Diego the one that has been found that has the authentic taste and flavor with the use of Olive Oil is Mr Moto's. For the slices you get packed with great flavor wanting that extra slice of the pizza that catches your eye.

This pizza is absolutely delicious. There is no doubt about it. And that is the only reason I'm not more angry and writing a zero star review right now. First and foremost - their systems are absolute trash. The online website ordering platform sucks. When you try to call to place your order instead, the automated voice sends you a link straight back to their garbage system. When you ask to speak to a representative, the voice announces they don't monitor their voicemail before connecting to a dial tone.... that hangs up on you immediately. So we walk into the establishment and ask to use a coupon (the whole reason why we're attempting to order on a Monday night) and the individual behind the register implies the coupon is only good for an online order and informs us that the online order system closes at 7 PM. In contrast, the actual restaurant closes at 9 PM. You'd think they'd mention quite literally anything about the 7 PM online ordering deadline somewhere - anywhere - on their website. They don't answer phones so it'd be nice if the automated phone mentioned literally anything about it as well prior to directing you to their website to order online. We ended up going to another pizza place to get our pizza fix despite not having a coupon for this place entirely because I am not going to give Mr. Moto a single dime after this ridiculously annoying situation.

One of my favourite location for Mr Moto pizza. Good for quick stop and people watching. It's only good if you can go by walking me hard to park unless you park at seaport parking lot. Can't bet the ambience!

Came in New Year's Day and omg it was AMAZING we got 3 slices of pizza and a Cesar salad. Pricing is fair the slices are huge. It's right by the water. We loved the ocean chill ambiance. Service was quick. They validate upon request. We loved it and can't wait to return.

Went last night for Valentine's Day and had a wonderful time. The pizza is absolutely amazing. Light, fluffy, crunchy, absolutely perfect.

First time trying Mr. Moto. I went with the bacon Alfredo rigatoni. The Pasta tasted a bit bland on the top but at the bottom there was more Alfredo sauce and bacon. I would say it needed salt. $20 was a bit expensive for me, I wish I went with the steal of a deal $5 pizza. They had a variety to choose from. All good fresh. It did take 25 min to receive my dish when I was told a 15 min preparation but oh well. I did enjoy the beautiful view of the water as the restaurant faced pedestrians. I would recommend this restaurant and try the pizza next time. I'd give the bacon Alfredo rigatoni an 8/10.

First time at Mr. Moto Pizza -Seaport Village location. Had the pepperoni pizza with their Blondie Ale beer. The pizza was outstanding!! If you check in Yelp Ap, you get a 20% off your pick up order. Stopped by while sight seeing on the coast. Pizza was good. Pizza could have been a little warmer. Everyone was very friendly. The best of course is the scenery. Just beautiful! A great place for people watching.

I'm glad I came back to Mr Moto because I had a really good experience this time. There was no wait and so I was able to order my pizza, I waited about 15 minutes, and then I go to take my hot pizza home. I got the California love one and it did not disappoint!

I had high hopes for this place, but the experience was frustrating. The pizza was great, served in just 10 minutes, and it tasted amazing. Unfortunately, the pasta took over 35 minutes to arrive, and by the time it came out, my pizza was already cold. The wait time was ridiculous, and even though the food was decent, the service really dropped the ball on timing. A waste of time especially if you have children and want them to eat together.

Solid slices of pizza. Thin crunchy but very sturdy crust with just the right amount of chew. Quality toppings and not too greasy. They got everything right. Also the country music selection playing on the speakers was great. One of the few places open till 10 pm in this area.

The management needs to do more about customers feeding birds with their pizza. The birds defecate on everything, food and drinks included and I have never seen an employee instructing customers to stop.

Mr Moto is here to bring back the old New York pizzeria experience with a fresh and original twist with 6 locations around San Diego! Our favorite location is right on the water at Sea Port Village. It is the perfect place to grab one of their delicious draft beers, a slice of pizza and watch the sunset! The Seaport Village location is right on the water with an amazing view to watch the sunset! The staff was so helpful and amazing! You have to try their famous garlic knots or their different pizzas of the month! Soooo delicious! I also love their ranch and marinara sauce.

Hip pizza joint. Love their New York style pizzas. Meatball one was unique as it had ricotta cheese on it. It was so good we can't stop talking about this place after we left San Diego!

Came here for a deal on Too Good To Go, where we got two slices and two garlic knots for 12 dollars. We got the mama moto and mission blvd, as they were the only vegetarian options available. The mission blvd was our favorite, it had a ton of flavor and looked relatively healthy with all the greens! The service there was a bit iffy, it seems like the workers were annoyed at us for using the deal and asking for vegetarian pizza specifically. We even checked the app and it said it was okay for food restrictions, so I'm not sure if that was a problem? It's located in seaport so plenty of great places to sit and eat! It can get really cold at night time though.

Nice location, quick service, and pizza was yummy. We loved that the crust was thin and well done, topping ratio is good. Would definitely stop by again!

If you're in seaport village this place is a must!! Pizza is amazing all ingredients taste high quality the sauce and the cheese were so friggin good! The pizza dough was light not to heave my had a nice crunch on the crust! We order 4 pizzas , the hulk , pineapple and ham , sausage and mushrooms and a pepperoni. They were all 10/10 with the hulk being the best out of all. There was a small wait to place an order but I could tell this place was popular by the amount of people dining inside and outside. Out total came out to 140$ for 4 pizzas. But thanks to yelp I received 20% off my total order!! we ended out paying 111$ an they fed 11 of us. The location is perfect just off the boardwalk you can see the ocean the boats everything is perfect. I will definitely stop by again.. keep up the great work Mr moto!!

Ocean View is very nice. Service is not very welcome.... we ordered a slice of cheese pizza, Chicken Pesto pasta and Bacon Alffredo pasta. The Pizza was great and not too hard, but the pastas are very salty to my husband (and badly salty to me)....

A friend recommended this pizza spot to try and being that we were staying across from seaport village, we decided to come check it out. For being a busy Saturday night, the line moves very quickly. The decor has an industrial metal ambiance making it very welcoming. The staff is super helpful in making recommendations on what to try. I love that you can buy pizza by the slice and that they have a huge variety of pizza options. The garlic knots are a must try. I ordered the two slice combo, and two garlic knots. For pizza slices I had the hulk (Pepperoni, bacon, ham, and sausage), which was so delicious on a crispy thin crust that wasn't heavy and complimented all the pizza ingredients and delicious Mariana sauce perfectly. For the garlic knots, I had the pepperoni and jalapeno garlic knot, as well as a spinach, ricotta, and mozzarella garlic knot. I grew up eating pepperoni and jalepeno pizza and to have it as a stuffed garlic knot with marinara dipping sauce was absolutely amazing, delicious, and packed a bit of a spicy punch. I couldn't resist trying the spinach, ricotta, and mozzarella garlic knot and it did not disappoint. Loads of spinach and cheese stuffed into the most delicious garlic knot was definitely the perfect snack. I love that they offer a military discount. Everything I tried was absolutely packed with flavor and delicious making this place the perfect comfort food for any day of the week. I will definitely be back next time I'm in town. Can't wait to try more menu items!

Purdy good pizza here overall. Tasty ingredients on the Rocky Mountain pizza (the sliced meatballs, the dollops of ricotta cheese, and even the marinara sauce itself) but wished that the crust had some crisp to it. A large size pizza is a *large* size pizza; easily fills up 4 (maybe even 5) very hungry people. Garlic knots are a must-order; although not the most garlicky of garlic knots, they're so fluffy-spongy that they're super mindlessly munchable. Docked a star from the rating mainly because the cream filling of the cannoli that I got tasted stale and the cannoli here generally seem to be a bit of a menu item afterthought as the cashier lady forgot that I included a cannoli in my takeout order. Overall a place that I recommend if you need a pizza pick-me-up (or if you're just looking for a food spot that's not touristy-overpriced like most of the neighboring food spots) in Seaport Village.

You have the most intellectually incompetent woman working your register. I think she severely brings down the atmosphere of the restaurant. It's a shame that I could overhear her talking about customers behind their back simply for asking for a menu. Including talking about my boyfriend. Additionally, after chastising every customer who came after me she decided to yell at her coworker saying that everyone else was the problem. It's especially shameful because I've never had this problem at any other location.

Did not disappoint! Visiting from Orange County and we enjoyed the pizza a lot! Good size, fresh and tastes very good! They have classics and their signatures. Highly recommend this pizza spot! It's also near the water which was awesome!

The pizza was good. I've definitely had better but the view on a nice sunny day is amazing. Good place to sit and people watch. I wish they would have served my beer with my pizza . By the time I got my pizza the beer was warm. The knots were really good. Out of the 2 pizzas I did have the hulk was my favorite

My family and I decided to try this spot after going to the USS Midway and I'm so glad we did. We ordered a large Mr. Moto pizza and waited about 20 minutes for it. The pie was freshly made and there were a total of 8 slices. My favorite part was the extra cheese on top of each of the slices. I think it added a light freshness of flavor and tasted delicious with the crushed red peppers on top. The crust was airy and had a nice texture to it without it being dry. Probably one of my favorite pizzas actually. Definitely give this place a try! The shop is kinda tucked in, but it's along the edge of the village closest to the water. The staff is super friendly and worked quickly to get the line moving. Overall, a really good experience.

My family and I stay at a hotel nearby twice a year, so we've become very familiar with Seaport Village. Our favorite place to eat when we come down is this pizza place. I've been to a different location and also was not disappointed. The pizza here is fantastic, despite the high price. I'm not even the biggest fan of pizza, but I will say this place makes great quality pizza. Service does take quite a bit, but it is VERY fresh. The pizzas are made to order and you can ever order drinks. We always get a pitcher of beer to go with our pizza. The drinks are reasonably priced. The location is amazing, as it's seaside, and the sunset here is amazing. I have a ton of great memories here and Mr Moto has been a part of all of them. The plaza it's located in is really nice as well as there's plenty to do. Definitely check this place out if you ever find yourself in Seaport Village!!

Best pizza with great view! Love all the pizzas and garlic knots with ranch. Service is fast if it's not busy.

The slices of pizza look pretty mundane behind the glass case, but they're surprisingly delicious in taste and texture! Perfectly crispy crust without being too crispy/hard. The topping options are wonderful and the service was very good. The ambiance is kind of whole-in-the-wall-ish but the outdoor setting is a deck with lovely views on the water where you can see boats going by.

I have always wanted to try this place and hadn't had the chance yet. I had guests over and they were craving pizza. We wanted to visit seaport and this area was right next to it so it was perfect. We got some of the pizza slice meals with some of the garlic knots. The pizza slice were big and delicious! We got pepperoni, cheese, and two other ones I am unsure of the type but they were are all delicious.the service was nice and considering when we got there It was 15 min before closing. The place was so cute and the view from outside was pretty. .

While roaming around Seaport Village on a Friday evening, we came across Mr Moto Pizza. They had a beautiful outdoor seating area facing the ocean. The pizzas were smelling great and we couldn't wait to try it! I got slices of Mamma moto and my husband got the Mission blvd. We also got a side of the garlic knots. The order was processed without much delay. We also got a side of marinara to go with the garlic knots. Everything looked delicious I loved how fresh the burrata, cherry tomatoes and the spinach was. The pizza dough was not too chewy and the pizza was baked just right. Everything was spot on. It was also cost effective and one of the best views! They also have pasta dishes and we can't wait to go back and try that. If you are looking for yummy pizza with a good view, definitely check out this place. You will not be disappointed! They also sell full pizza pies and not just the slices.

Wow! Stopped here for a quick bite to eat. I got the Rocky Mountain and it was crazy good. One of my favorite pizzas I've ever had. My husband got basically a margarita pizza and the buffalo and both were fantastic. Great customer service. We will 100% be back and recommend it

I ordered pizza's, chicken wings, knots and salad yesterday at 6pm for 8:15pm delivery. No contact, no feedback, no update other than a deliver setup with Uber at 7:27pm. Again no feedback, no update other than the delivery getting later and later all while 8 people waited for their dinner. After trying to call the store multiple times with no answer I finally get a "Sorry but your delivery was canceled" message at 10:13pm. Almost 2 hours after the delivery was supposed to be here. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I am sure I am not the only one that had this experience last night.

Minus two starts for the following reasons : The female worker complaining to her coworkers about she didn't want to take orders. Oh I'm sorry your job is so hard. They don't take cash, according to the female cashier due to COVID.

We found this pizza gem last visit, we won't miss grabbing a slice any time we're in San Diego! The pizza is amazing, the toppings so fresh & crust is a thin crunch to perfection for my taste. Although always a line they move it fast & efficiently gives time to look over the menu toppings & try to decide which slice, that's the hard part lol great prices too! Told us they are coming to Las Vegas soon, that's bonus for us here! Very upbeat place in beautiful seaport village!

I love this location. Not only does it have the best view but the workers have always been friendly and attentive. The pizza here tastes better than the other locations, crust always crispier and less oily. It was about time I wrote a review.

If you want a slice and a beer with a pretty good view on a grungy eating shelf kind of place, this is that. Slice was pretty typical NY style (foldable so you can eat it ala Brooklyn). I enjoyed it. Beer selection was fairly pedestrian but it was local quaff that I appreciated. Counter service only, and the staff seems to be pretty young and you get what comes with that. Really a good place for what it is, just don't go expecting a pristine table with a helpful waiter kind of experience.

My husband and I weren't starving, but we were definitely getting there after walking around Seaport Village. I had heard about this place from someone who used to live in the area. My husband and I ordered and opted to sit inside where it was warmer. We each ordered the 2 slice + drink deal. I ordered the Hulk (pepperoni, bacon, ham, sausage) and the Furious Diablo (garlic chicken, buffalo sauce, homemade ranch). My husband ordered the Hulk also, and the California Love (bacon, chicken, homemade ranch, caramelized onions). Finally, we also ordered a garlic knot each. The food came quick, and I was shocked with how much pizza I was about to consume. The garlic knot was good, but I wasn't as impressed with it as I was with the pizza. Both slices were super delicious. And not just delicious, massive. We needed a to go box as we left. The restaurant was really small, and crowded, which to me is not an issue. It seemed like a hot tourist spot and I can see why. There is indoor and outdoor seating for your convenience. I'll have to remember this place when I come back to town because it was definitely worth visiting again.

From someone born and raised in NY, this is one of the closest slices to NY pizza you can get. Their pizza is delicious (fresh pies only).. my favorite is the piece of art slice. We stopped in and got a free pizza pie tonight from their November promotion, we had to wait a LONG time for it but something's gotta give when it's free. The staff here were so professional despite drowning in orders, pure chaos. Although the promo is great, I feel so sad for the overwhelmed employees! They're still working for the same wage as any other night and had to deal with some impatient customers coming through- these employees maintained composure and did their best tonight despite all the challenges. Bravo staff! Mr Moto give em all a raise :)

After exploring the USS Midway Museum we were hungryyyy! We walked and walked and walked along the coast and came across this pizza place. It wasn't really packed but once we got in line more people started showing up. We ordered the Smokey greens which was wow a pizza I'd like to recreate back at home ! It had spinach, garlic, ricotta, and balsamic glaze! The other we tried were a chicken Alfredo which was delicious as well! A Margarita slice which you can't go wrong with a classic and the pepperoni and sausage. I was hungry for something else not a slice but I noticed they had stuffed knots! You guys..... it was filled with the same filling as I'm claiming now my favorite pizza and I was super excited ! My partner had the one stuffed with pepperoni and cheese which still great choice! It was seasoned to perfection and it came with a dipping sauce. The herbs were so noticeable and the flavor on point. We were very happy with service and also lucky that as we finished ordering a table opened up inside as it was a bit chilly outside that day. I can't wait to come visit San Diego again and come here for lunch or dinner. Also there is a surprise! Behind this building there is a cute village which tons of other restaurants and shops we had no idea, but as we explored we fell in love!

Simple ingredients with an excellent flavor. Mr. Moto makes their pizzas with fresh dough to make everyone happy! I would love to try out their other branches. We ordered by slice to sample all of their flavors. California love and Mission blvd were my favorites;)

Service: 4/5 Order at the counter, but the staff is great. He rang in a special for me that I didn't even notice. Food/Beverage Quality: 4/5 The pizza was pretty good, nothing spectacular, but unique for sure! Value for Price: 3/5 Large slices of pizza & big portions of pasta, the pizza is a good price ($5/slice) but the pasta is like $16 for a dish that's comparable to Sbarro...

This Mr. Moto's in Seaport Village isn't as attractive as the Mr. Moto's I wrote about earlier this year, but it has other advantages that will be noted! Best of all, it faces the San Diego Bay which gives an awesome view of the water. It is a busy restaurant, as all the shops are here during tourist season. My friend and I were out taking a walk and shooting photos to capture the delight of visit this area. This shop has many attractions around it but I was glad we chose Mr. Moto's. The service was courteous and welcoming. I had a few questions along the way and the staffer answered patiently and with good knowledge of the product. We chose the chicken penne pasta - it was delicious! It lasted two meals each between us. We also had the Mr. Moto slice pizza. You'll never fail with this choice! It was cooked just right - and adding a little red pepper will make it perfect. We also had a house salad with house dressing. The ingredients were fresh and certainly the dressing did it's job by making you want more! Eating here on a special occasion in my life was terrific! So good to get out and visit this area again! It sure didn't disappoint. Recommend: HIGH

Beautiful views of SD bay, sun, busy boardwalk. The pizza is delicious, the glass display makes it easy to choose. Relatively easy process, always busy. I got mission blvd( variety of veggies-artichoke, olives, bell peppers etc; very flavorful) & meatballs( forgot the name; it was okay, not amazing just a little bland). Also, got chicken wings( buffalo) super hot but delicious! Will recommend this place for a quick eat while enjoying the sunset.

We went here two days in a row at MR. MOTO PIZZA by SEAPORT VILLAGE. At first we only ordered 3 Slices to try, and so far it was good, we have had Mr. Moto Pizza before and they always make new great pizza toppings. My son liked the Pizza that he had, so we came back the next day to get a Whole Box. Within the 2 days that we visited we got: *CALIFORNIA LOVE - Bacon, Chicken, caramelized onion, and ranch. *MISSION BLVD - Spinach, Artichoke, roasted tomato, caramelized onion, and a marinara base. *ROCKY MOUNTAINS - Meatballs, ricotta, spicy honey, and oregano, with a marinara base. * MAMMA MOTO - Burrata cheese, truffle oil, parsley, and cherry tomatoes, with a garlic paste base. * MR. MOTTO - Italian sausage, spanish chorizo, burrata cheese, and a marinara dot, with a garlic paste base. *THE HULK - Pepperoni, bacon, ham, and sausage, with a marinara base *SPRITE *POWER AID drink Everything here was good, but the ones that we liked the most were the CALIFORNIA LOVE and the MISSION BLVD. The CALIFORNIA LOVE has the most strongest Flavor among the pizzas and the MISSION BLVD has my 2 favorite Veggies, the SPINACH and ARTICHOKES, it's perfect ! We gave our dog Bambam different meats from our Pizzas, and he likes it especially the Meatballs from the ROCKY MOUNTAIN PIZZA. The place is nice and it's facing a view of the water. They have indoor and outdoor seating, but we chose to sit outdoors 'coz we had our dog with us.
