We stopped in here on our recent trip to the Santa Monica Pier. They have 3 options for types of fries. We went with the tater wheels and we ordered a side of bbq sauce to dip them in. The fries came out quick and hot. They weren’t much different than tater tots, other than the shape, but they were ok. Next time I would try the curly fries or one of the pre-made fries for more flavor.

You know that feeling of being inside of a movie? The Santa Monica Pier has exactly that kind of magic. With every step, the ocean breeze, and the smell of food in the air blend together to create an atmosphere that feels tailor-made for memories. I’ve been there twice, and both times, I found myself returning to the same restaurant, as if going back to a scene I didn’t want to end. I stood there, looking at every inch of that place, trying to absorb it all: the lights, the colors, the movement of people, and the sun slowly setting over the ocean. I had a corn dog with an eegee's, something I’d never tried before and yet, it felt like home. Simple, yet somehow deeply comforting. And while time insisted on moving forward, I couldn’t help but wish it would slow down, just a little, so I could live a bit longer inside that moment that felt made just for me.

The service here was great! Friendly staff gave good smiles throughout. Fries was fresh from the fryer, crispy and hot! Love the fries.

Judging from the other reviews there were serving pizza? When I ordered they focused fries and frozen treats. I ordered chili cheese fries and it is their poutine in America. Fries were a little bit dry but the chili and cheese combo always is one of my favourite. This food will fill you up. Price is quite a bit expensive but then again you are at Santa Monica pier as everything is a bit overpriced.

Pizza was pretty good for what you'd get at an amusement park. About $11 for an 8" pizza, sliced into 4. Pizza was baked fresh at 12pm and garnished with oregano. For an extra $5, the "combo" comes with a fountain drink.

Nice pizza, but small sizes. Great taste and very friendly / helpful people. There is a terrace nearby.

Pizza isnt great at all, barely finished our food and made my girlfriend vomit, would not recommend it.The pizza wasnt even sliced in 4, had to go ask if they could and instead gave me a knife to do it myself. The pepperoni literally looks like its screaming to not eat it. Definitely try the funnel cake though, just walk 10 seconds to it.

Yelp
If you're craving authentic boardwalk fries, look no further than Mr. Nice Fries on the Santa Monica's Pier. Having spent a lifetime sampling fries on the boardwalks of the Jersey Shore, these fries definitely measure up. There is a fair selection of different fried potato shapes, sizes & preparation, with lots of topping options, along with a variety of drinks. Looking forward to my next dip!
