You know that feeling of being inside of a movie? The Santa Monica Pier has exactly that kind of magic. With every step, the ocean breeze, and the smell of food in the air blend together to create an atmosphere that feels tailor-made for memories.
I’ve been there twice, and both times, I found myself returning to the same restaurant, as if going back to a scene I didn’t want to end. I stood there, looking at every inch of that place, trying to absorb it all: the lights, the colors, the movement of people, and the sun slowly setting over the ocean.
I had a corn dog with an eegee's, something I’d never tried before and yet, it felt like home. Simple, yet somehow deeply comforting. And while time insisted on moving forward, I couldn’t help but wish it would slow down, just a little, so I could live a bit longer inside that moment that felt made just for me.
