Google
The sandwich was pretty solid and quite a large portion. Could be two meals honestly. The pickle-theme was quite fun to walk into - would recommend getting a pickle with your sandwich. Wait time was a little long, but that's because we ordered with multiple people.

Google
Cash only, but has an ATM in the restaurant. We ordered #7 Dog House and #26 Hipster. Both great sandwiches! Portions are super big and could be 2 meals.

Google
The perfect lit'l tuck in the corner Sub Sandwich shop for a solo trip, on a quest to satisfy a hungry tummy. Also great when meeting a buddy for a freshly made quick lunch. Mr.Pickle's has a huge variety of sandwiches to choose from like,The Golden Gate or The Chef Curry. The menu is big enough, easy to read and has many, many different options whether you like meat or prefer a vegan. Mr. Pickle's is a spot for a Quick Random Munch. Thanks Mr. Pickle's. Love that Hoagie.

Google
Mission District MUST. I like it. Don't be afraid to go. It's HUGE sandwiches. Guys are very nice here and I got the Cesar Chavez. You can't go wrong with anything here. ALL made up to be customized to your liking. CASH ONLY. ATM inside just in case. I would recommend anyone to try this place in SF. It's family owned too.

Google
Today, I ordered an extra large sandwich roll from the Goleta branch of the Three Pickles Sandwich shop while driving to L.A. As were time bound, I placed the order online through their App to pick up the Sandwich at 12:45pm. I reached at 12:58-59. My sandwich was not ready, the employee in the front said let me check, then he prints out the order. I got delayed by 20mins. Also, there a lady working and she might have been a supervisor, she was giving me dirty looks when I mentioned about cross contamination of the food. I noticed that none of the three people making sandwich were wearing gloves. I’m a strict vegetarian and saw them picking meat and veggies by bare hands for making the sandwich. If I was not delayed I would have requested them to use the gloves and make me another sandwich. I did not eat that sandwich. I gave it my friend in the car. I would not go there nor would suggest this restaurant to anyone!

Google
CASH ONLY! There’s not a lot of seating, so it’s probably a great place to get to-go orders from. But we are tourists, so we ate inside. The sandwiches are BIG! Add chips, a drink, tax, and tip, and you’re looking at $20 a person, but it was worth every penny!

Google
Great sandwich at a good price, and its a very decent size two. Not too many decent sandwich shops around here and even fewer that sell large sandwiches at a fair price. My caeser chavez sandwich was delicious, large, and only cost $14. Would recommend

Yelp
CA$H ONLY. I ordered the Mission sandwich- turkey, bacon, avocado, pepper jack cheese, honey mustard- on Dutch crunch. I liked it but I thought the turkey was a little dry. It was a clean place. They had some seating but not a lot. I waited less than 10 mins for my sandwich. I would come back again but I think I would order something else.

Yelp
Haha I had never walked by or seen this sandwich shop near Capp and Mission. I decided to get a drink and gummies..then a Ooey Gooey sandwich which was a smores sandwich with peanut butter..it was funny..has some ephemera on the wall.

Yelp
I was craving a sandwich and have visited other Mr Pickles locations but never this one, so... I decided to drop in. I ordered the #4 Tom Tom sandwich on a sweet roll. The size was just right and satisfying. The fresh ingredients were spot on and I even walked away with a whole dill pickle *yum* I'll be back for

Yelp
Came here for lunch. I ordered the house combo sandwich, toasted. The sandwich came out ~10 minutes later. It's fairly big and well filled, definitely a pretty filling meal. Honestly tasted pretty good but maybe could use some more interesting sauce for a kick. Cash only btw. Overall a decent sandwich but nothing spectacular. The staff were very friendly and nice. Worth checking out if you are in the area and in the mood for a sandwich

Yelp
Omg this place is soooo bad that it makes me miss subway. And subway is my least fav sandwich shop... I specifically told them I wanted to make my own sandwich from scratch because they didn't have many options. The only one they had was an avocado sandwich with sprouts and I hate sprouts which is the reason I decided to make my own. Guess what? I never told them to add sprouts and they added sprouts. Sigh. The quality of the produce was horrible. The lettuce was brown and the tomatoes weren't fresh. The worst part was that the paper which they wrapped got stuck on the bread when I opened the sandwich. Also this place accepts only cash so make sure you are carrying cash.

Cecilia O.

Yelp
Absolute best sandwich ever. Special sauce is amazing bread is so fresh and you can make 3 sandwiches with all the meat they slap on. People are great and if there is any mess up it is fixed and replaced no questions asked

Rui Y.

Yelp
Popped in for 2 sandwiches totaling $34. I ordered a turkey sandwich on wheat with "everything" and paid extra for the honey mustard. We waited around 25 minutes for our sandwiches while being two of the three people in the store. When I got to the park and unwrapped my sandwich, I saw immediately that they had mixed up the bread orders and had given me dutch crunch instead of wheat. My sandwich was also missing the honey mustard that I paid for, along with mustard, peperoncinos, and pickles (c'mon it's your namesake). The entire sandwich was so dry and bland as it was flavored by just a layer of mayo. For $17 per sandwich, there was very little the store got right.

Yelp
Food and service was great and fast. I'm from Dallas, tx and when I come back I will definitely be back for another sanwich. Great environment.

Yelp
Once again I am disappointed with Mr. Pickles! This time I ordered it on door dash and you would think for a $15 sandwich (and to pay the DoorDash fees which became a $22 sandwich) you would think they put some love on these sandwiches. First off I wanted a sour dough roll they gave me a French soft roll then of course the bread is stale. I wanted a simple salami and cheese sandwich. The meat portion they give you for a $22 sandwich it's like I'm back at the middle school cafeteria like 3-4 slices of salami. I wish the sandwich makers put some love in their job. I been to the deli and the ambiance was just a regular deli nothing special. However, delis should focus more on the delivery orders as we all want a quality sandwich, Especially for the price. I should have ordered from jersey mikes they have never let me down. They have pricey sandwiches but never given me stale bread or skimp on the meat.

Yelp
This spot is great The Hot T is outstanding Will be back to try the Reuben, French dip & pastrami sandos Glad this place survived covid

Yelp
A great option when you need a tasty and delicious deli sandwich. The neighborhood has some decent spots to get lunch but this is one of the faster options. This is definitely a step up from your usual Subway sandwich. I would suggest either the roast beef or the Italian combo. They also have a big chips selection, which of course goes well with any sandwich you get.

Yelp
I really do love this place... The last few times it's been really weird. I am particular about my food. I am not an impossible customer though. If I say in the options "don't toast my sandwich" why would a person toast it? It's tuna salad with sprouts. Is that even safe? I don't know maybe I am over- thinking??? Anyway it's very disheartening to want something you paid for and have it be just wrong. I think I'll take a break from them. I am sad.

Yelp
THIS is one HALF of a Mr Pickles Station 7 Sandwich. IT IS SO DAMN GOOD. Perfect bread with super delicious chicken. Crunch, flavor and fun. MY HUSBAND IS RATING THIS one of his TOP 5 LIFETIME SANDWICHES (and he's eaten a bazillion sammies & is no spring chicken ) (Chicken breast marinated in honey mustard with pepper jack cheese and avocado on dutch crunch - with all the xtra vegs except onions - lots of pickles & pepperoncini)

Yelp
BE READY FOR AN AMAZING SANDWICH: HUGE, PACKED, SAUCEY GOODNESS Food: Ordered the #5 Hot Pastrami and wow, big, packed with all of fixings and 1000 island dressing. Meat so thick, it ran to the heal of the sandwich length 3 layers. See pick. Flavorful, fresh and Dutch crunch roll. Be READY TO GET MESSY. Wife ordered the Turkey sandwich - same. Huge and fresh and flavorful. Hint: half a sandwich is enough for ppl not looking for a big meal. Ambiance: Very small CASH only cornee shop (seats like 5) Cost: $$ (Great Bang for Buck) Service: can take long, but worth it

Yelp
great sandwich for a great price! fresh ingredients and massive, will definitely have left overs for lunch tomorrow.

Yelp
The bread was not fresh. Sandwich fell apart and couldn't hold the contents together and the whole meal was just unsatisfying. The potato salad had too much vinegar perhaps to extend the shelf life of it.

Yelp
If you love pickles, this shop is made for you! My coworker chose lunch on the weekend and decided to order from here since she loves pickles. She also thought the name of the shop was cute. We ordered two Padres Pride sandwiches and two lemonades using DoorDash. Sandwiches were massive and delicious! Recommended for sandwich lovers.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I were looking for a quick bite mid-afternoon to hold us over until dinner and he decided on a sandwich, so here we are. The sandwich we ordered was the... Hipster - The name almost made us not want to order it. I don't want to be categorized as a hipster! But the peanut sauce was really calling to us so we ordered it anyways haha. Tiny peeve, but the menu advertised it with sprouts, but there was none of that in ours. Otherwise, the sandwich was simple and satisfied our peanut sauce craving. Ordering as a walk-in, we had to wait about 10 minutes before the sandwich was ready.

Yelp
No idea why but they decided to block my phone number. I always order the same thing, am polite and tip. I thought they had changed their phone number so I went in person and asked and the lady said "maybe you were blocked" in a super passive aggressive way. Can only attribute to discrimination at this point because I have only had minimal polite interactions before.

Yelp
Today as I was getting out of work starvin and thinking I was going to get a sandwich from one of mu favorite sandwich spots in the city, i decided to call and order like Ussual.. but I called multiple times and NO answer. Not for an hrs or so. I decided to drive and check if they were close for some reason and to my surprise they were Open. No one picked up the phone in the multiple times I called in a spam of an hour or more. What a bummer I Used to love this shop and I was extremelly dissapointed that I saw they opened and they were just not answering while they were actually open. They just broke my heart and I decided to go somewhere else after that. No bueno.

Yelp
We came to Mr. Pickles right before work, giving ourselves 30 minutes to stop by and pick up some food. We got to the front and ordered two sandwiches and put the order in but we noticed it was cash only. We went to their own ATM which was a 3.50 charge. And then the worker put someone else's order in before ours, who came after us. It then took us 25 minutes to get 15 dollar sandwiches each, yet there was only a few other people who ordered and a whole staff. Now I'll be late, but the food was at least okay, but not deserving of how much we had to spend.

Yelp
I went in and asked for a recommendation. They said the Cesar Chavez was popular so I got it. The chicken was pretty miserable. Somehow it was both tough/dry but soaking wet like it came out of a soup. So wet that it made the bread soggy. The tomato was oddly sour. And I actually don't know how it's physically possible to slice bacon that thin without a microtome. All this for $14.50. The irony was that the 2007 article they had on the wall said no sandwich was over $7. I took the chicken and veggies out and ate the bread. The bread was good.

Nandi R.

Yelp
Was nasty, heated the whole sandwich when not instructed to and the avocado was old and black and tasted rotten. The sandwich was so nasty the trikes was hard and old. I go to Mr.Pickle's in Antioch Ca and they are amazing was hoping for a good sandwich for my lunch during a busy work day and was greatly disappointed beyond nasty will never eat from Mr.Pickles again sadly. Horribly disappointed and disheartened.

Yelp
We had been driving past this cute shop for months, intrigued by the name and vibes, and finally made it in! First thing to note is that place is cash only, but there is an ATM right inside ($3 fee). Definitely worth it, the sandwiches here are incredible. Seems like you can order delivery through an app, which could be a way around the cash-only restriction. Each one is named for something San Francisco-related, which are all very creative and cute. The shop feels quaint and family run, and they make your sandwich right there in front of you. They offer many condiments and toppings included in the price, so you can order the sandwich "as-is", with everything on it, or pick and choose what you want. I have now tried the meatball and one of the Italian meat sandwiches and will definitely be coming back for one of the sweet options, like the Ooey Gooey with Nutella, banana, and marshmallows. There is some indoor seating by the window if you want to relax, watch some sports, and enjoy a sub, or you can easily take it to-go. There is street parking on Van Ness and the cross street, and both times we have went we easily found spots right next to the door. Overall easy to get to, amazing sandwiches, and a good price. This is turning into my usual sandwich shop!

Yelp
I'm craving my sandwiches. This is where I walk blocks just to get myself a nice good Chris BS lots of crispy p pickles, pastrami, sandwich with lots of mustard and I'm like oh my gosh drooling on myself. Walking down the street trying to eat a sandwich and chips and I end up having to go back to the shop and eat there because I'm such a piggy.

Yelp
Good place for a chicken sandwich and of course it wouldn't be fried chicken I would get here. I liked the Gaucho which was so delicious. Great food to get on the go in the busy city.

Richard G.

Yelp
Great sandwiches and fast. They care enough to follow up in what you want on your sandie.

Yelp
Omg! Hands down the best sandwich shop in Campbell Ca, 2080 S Bascom Ave 95008 The people at this shop are very kind and helpful.... My son and i was tired of the normal Subway and Togo's so decided to try this local spot. I'm glad we did, Thank you ladies
google avatar

Gerard Y.

Yelp
I like how the sandwiches are named after local Bay Area stuff. Like the sandwich I ordered, Caesar Chavez, probably named after Caesar Chavez St (formerly known as Army St.) or one of the specials for the day, "Chef Curry" sandwich. Anyway it was $14 for the sandwich and a bag of chips. Not bad considering I left feeling full and satisfied. I could've saved the 2nd half of the sandwich for a snack later on as it's a big enough sandwich on its own, at least for me. The meat portion was good and plenty of bacon, but I could do with less lettuce in my sandwich. My only small complaint.
google avatar

Mariela C.

Yelp
I've been coming here for more than a decade and no matter what fancy / hipster sandwich shops may come and go, this place will always be #1 in my heart. To add to the delicious sandos, they are lovely humans - the other day I forgot cash, and they let me take the sando and come back the pay the next day. True neighborhood shop .
google avatar

Roxanne L.

Yelp
Mr. Pickle's a staple in the mission. I've been coming here for awhile and they never disappoint. As an office manager now, I've been placing large orders there for 26 or more sandwiches, and everything has always been labeled, organized and ready for pick-up! Favs include: Tony Soprano, Tom Tom, and The Bear. They're definitely staying in our office rotation.

Jeff K.

Yelp
If you want toasted sandwiches, DO NOT COME HERE. I asked for my sando toasted and got it MICROWAVED so hard the meat burned to a crisp on the side, and even worse--the bread got chewy and hard. Whoever makes these sandwiches does not know or care enough about bread to know that microwaving bread is a cardinal sin. Bread is at least 50% of a sandwich, so wasting my precious carbs on gross bread makes me mad.

Yelp
Me.Pickles is so legit the pictures I took did not do it justice but let me tell y'all... my sandwich was AMAZING! I was looking for a good sandwich shop that was around my Airbnb and Mr.Pickles showed up on here! Thank you Yelp for helping me find this place because this sandwich was banging. This is one of those order to-go shops. You literally walk in, order and wait for your food to be made and take it to go. They had cold sandwich options but also paninis. I ordered a sandwich with turkey, lettuce, guac, cheese, Mayo, and bacon and mannnnn I wish I would have ordered two. The portions are pretty big but I would have loved another one for the next day. The employees were super helpful and recommended a couple of options on the menu. They were very sweet as well since I came in during their last 15 minutes of being open. They literally did an amazing job. Next time I go to SF I am deff stopping by here for a sandwich. This is one hidden gem that you do not want to miss out on!

Yelp
Speedy is the goat. Always makes fire ass sandwiches for my ass when i come in there lit as f***.
google avatar

Alex G.

Yelp
this places hold such a special place in my heart! Love the sandwiches and the customer service here. Ive never had an issue here before. I do not care that they are not wearing mask or anything because at the end of the day I been eating from here for years and never had anything bad happen. If i can seriously eat a sandwich a day and not gain any weight I would do it from this place.
google avatar

Priscilla C.

Yelp
I've been to a few Mr.Pickles in the bay area. This one was the most ehhh. It wasn't horrible but I wouldnt come here again. It was very dry no mustard or mayo. The bread was a bit rubbery. The employees were nice. Also its cash only which sucked. It appeared to be clean inside.
google avatar

Alexander K.

Yelp
Your staff looks a bunch of dead people. No energy. Cash only? It's 2020 you cheap mofo. No garlic sauce? Lettuce getting cut in the back with no gloves on. Food was good though. Will definitely come back to see if there has been any changes. Will be contacting the local health department
google avatar

Nicole E.

Yelp
I odered a "Reggie" off the menu added on pesto on dutch crunch bread (yummy!) tomato, lettuce, and pickles. I really enjoyed the sand which, got chips too. It was toasted and the chicken for me was pretty delicious. This location was pretty steady, but the customer service was on point and quick. It looked like they was maneuvering online orders, walk ins, and telephone orders with only 2 employees. Everything is open to view and I noted how clean the kitchen looked. BOTH EMPLOYEES HAD MASKS ON CORRECTLY. My sand which was a nice size. With a bag of chips I was only able to eat half. And I was starving to death. The bread was fresh and sandwhich packed out. The other half I ate for dinner and it still was tasty. At first I thought, it was pricey for a sand which but its worth every penny. My advice is to call in your order if you're in a terrible hurry. We had to wait about 10-15 mins as a walk in but those who ordered ahead was in and out. Im glad to have been referred here for a nice deli sandwhich.
google avatar

David K.

Yelp
They definitely have good sandwiches, and when I'm in the area, I would definitely go. This location is cash only and has an ATM machine in their store. However, Little Lucca's in South SF has the better sandwiches which are also much bigger for cheaper.
google avatar

Bianca M.

Yelp
Super cute sandwich shop! It's cash only but there's an ATM inside and it's super quick service. The sandwiches are hearty and you get a good amount for the cost. There are restrooms if need be, but they're customer only. Also was told the pickles were amazing, so if you like them possibly worth a shot. I ordered one but they were so busy I think they forgot that part of my order. Otherwise, great experience.
google avatar

Crystal M.

Yelp
This was such a bummer. It doesn't appear that this is the norm for Mr. Pickle's but it sure was disappointing today--the first and only time we've ordered/eaten at this Mr. Pickles. Bread was old, meat was dry, only one side of bread had spread (mayo, mustard, pesto), only put a couple peppercinis (sp?) and a couple pickles, leaving the sandwich to just be a dry m, tasteless mouthful. Couldn't finish it--despite still being hungry. Two stars because when I called the shop to give the suite number of our office, they were well-mannered and helpful.

Yelp
Horrible experience was charged$ 24 for a crap sandwich that I ordered not long ago I will never order again so I posted in other social media
google avatar

Umesh T.

Yelp
They made me a pretty decent sandwich. I had the one with chicken and pesto on a toasted dutch crunch roll. It was loaded with chicken, pesto, and a good bunch of lettuce, tomato, onions, and banana peppers (I think). There was nothing special about it as it was a pretty standard sandwich with standard ingredients, but well executed. It obviously can't hold a candle to Ike's Sandwich but that is not to say it's not a good sandwich either. I later found out it's not affiliated to the "Mr. Pickles" mini-chain of sandwich stores, and I find their logo and branding very misleading.
google avatar

Serenity A.

Yelp
I phoned in my order ...so many choices They were very helpful on the phone As soon as I walked in my sandwiches were ready without any waiting period The cashier was very polite (cash only) with this kind of service I'll be back and when I tasted my sandwich definitely delicious me and my coworker were very satisfied Thank you

Yelp
The best sandwich I've ever had. Up until this point probably Brother's sandwich in LA was my fave but as a person who normally hates sandwiches I can see why people like sandwiches, after Mr. Pickles. It's in a what I thought was a somewhat random location, very residential. It's easy enough to find though and it's no-nonsense, straight forward good food. It's super casual and a bit run down with limited seating. My hubs and I shared a Station 7 sandwich and it was SO good. The chicken breast was a teeny bit dry but the pepper jack cheese was all melted, the sauces were an incredible and the veggies in it were SO fresh. It was one of those times where you're like, wow this is what fresh veggies are supposed to taste like and you remember you eat un-fresh delayed delivery food from middle man grocer which is just depressing. The dutch crunch bread was probably the best part of the sandwich, every single bite filled my nostrils with super fresh bread-y scent and the texture though it cuts up your mouth is incredible. Overall, would HIGHLY recommend, I can't wait to come back! BTW, it's cash only .
google avatar

Yelp
I used to love this place. But the last two times I have been i. The Sandwiches were mediocre at best. And today solidified it. I will never step foot inside a mr pickles again. Particularly with all the new sandwich options available. Today I wanted a Hot T so bad. I drove across town to get one. I asked if she would could heat up my bread so as to make the dutch crunch soft and wonderful. I was told they can only heat up the meat and cheese... why? What is so hard about heating up bread. I asked... "You cant heat up my bread?" To which the girl behaind the counter replied... "nah" Sorry Mr Pickles... its Ikes from here on out.

Yelp
Perfect mid day snack! My partner and I were heading over to Urban Putt for some indoor mini-golfing, but wanted to grab a quick bite to eat before-hand. While walking towards Urban Putt, I saw a woman sitting on steps eating what seemed like a very appetizing sandwich. The dutch-crutch bread caught my eye, and I decided I wanted a sandwich too. A block over, we came across Mr. Pickle's Sandwich Shop and stopped by. We split one of the specials (the SFPD I believe) which consisted of chicken breast, avocados, jalapenos, pepper jack cheese, and their usual spread ( mayo, mustard, lettuce, pickles ). We waited about 10 minutes or so, and boy, was that sandwich GOOD! The bread was perfectly toasted, and was warm. The inside was gooey and melted in your mouth, and the flavors all just soaked in seamlessly in my mouth. Don't be fooled by the outward appearance of this gem of a place, definitely check it out! I will be back for my beloved dutch crunch bread.

Yelp
Order online! You can personalize the sandwich and request a time for pick up, whether it's now or later. They'll call you to tell you your sandwich is ready. #13 Cesar Chavez - 3.5 stars pic: http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/mr-pickles-sandwich-shop-san-francisco?select=Cg4u2ym1991VHSroYyx33Q#Cg4u2ym1991VHSroYyx33Q (Chicken breast, bacon, avocado and jack cheese on sourdough roll. My version: dutch crunch, pepper jack cheese, no pickles, extra sprouts. $8.24) Definitely a good bargain - you get a huge sandwich with a lot of meat. The quality is not the absolute best, but you still get a good sandwich. The dutch crunch was a little hard, not as smooth & buttery as I've had in the past. The chicken, while seeped in their sauce (which tasted great!), was still a little dry. And I highly recommend adding sprouts - adds that subtle bit of crunch and gives the sandwich some greens and freshness.

Yelp
Possibly the worst roast beef sandwich I have had in 10 years or more. Leathery, dry slivers of beef. Roll wasn't too fresh. Just awful and I threw most of it in the trash.
