"Longtime UNLV restaurant Mr. Sandwich serves banh mi to the collegiate masses from its humble strip mall location on the Maryland Parkway. The menu features a lengthy list of banh mi options including scrambled egg, charbroiled beef, grilled shrimp, curry chicken, sardine, and tofu." - Krista Diamond

Im a Vietnamese. I've tried many Vietnam restaurant oversea but this is one of the worst I've ever tried. The noodle in Pho was dried and thick, and the soup is not hot enough. However, Milk coffee here was ok and Vietnam-like much.

Incredibly quick and friendly service, huge menu, clean restaurant. I have tried a banh mi sandwich, chicken panang curry, Thai tea and matcha milk tea with boba and have been very happy with each! The Korean BBQ beef and rice is also very good.

Many varieties of Vietnamese sandwiches. Noodles, very good pricing, across UNLV next 2 Bank

Love this place, been going here for years. They have began pho with tofu for those who don't eat meat such as myself. They have almost an endless amount of choices when it comes to drinks including popping boba in several different flavors. They also play music while there too so it's a cool vibe. The employees don't speak a lot of English to my understanding so I wouldn't take it personal if they don't talk to you. I wouldn't consider it rude because they still offer great service and are more than happy to get you anything.

Used to come here often... It's gone a little downhill. Love they have Vegan food, but it's gotten greasy and the place needs to be cleaned. Grease and dust don't mix. Simple is fine, but dirty isn't good. Feel like the quality isn't there anymore.

It's OK. Most of the sandwiches are a good value at +/- $5. Good bread and fresh veggies almost make up for the skimpy portions and low quality of the meat. The fish and veggies are the way to go. The curries are served like soup, with noodles in lieu of rice. Comfortable dining room and take-out available.

Pho was really greasy and basil leaves weren't fresh even though I came in the morning. I am small in size, so most small bowls of pho at other places make me full but here, the bowl was big but barely any noodles. I hope this place can do better because I did come here 4 years ago and had many memories with friends.

Tables are dirty and sticky. The whole time we were there they kept mopping the floor with dirty mop water. In fact, that was the only thing I could smell coming in. Mopping didn't do much as our feet were literally sticking on the way out. Food was horrible. No one making the food is even Vietnamese. Iceberg lettuce is not a leafy lettuce and should not be in most of Vietnamese cuisine. Even so, the lettuce was old and has brown on the edges, especially where it was cut. This tells me it's been sitting for sometime. I love a hole in the wall, but this isn't worth a second look.
