Mr. Shrimp

The best seafood in Ventura County. Everything is super fresh and tasty, and for the price you get a lot of it. Poke is amazing, with a large size you get basically 2 full meals , and rice is only a small part of it, not like in most places where they use it as a filler. You get a lot of fish and veggies with it. Made fresh as you wait . I had a spicy tuna hand roll today and let me tell you, it was basically a meal by itself, again , with great proportions of a lot of tuna and even some shrimp. The sushi rice is well seasoned as well, not just some regular rice slapped in. Their ceviches and aguachiles, yummmm. And if you are not sure which one you like , you can get samples! We tried the most spicy one today and it was incredible.The flavor was amazing and you can mix several in your order. The staff are very friendly and super sweet, the place is clean and there is no typical " seafood smell" there. A must try!!!

Went for the soft launch today! Tried a salmon/shrimp poke bowl, tiger roll and dragon roll. All were made fresh and were good 😋 I’ve tried the ceviches and the aguachiles from the Oxnard store which are the same at this location. Everything is fresh and tasty. Staff is always nice and helpful. The poke sauce is so good on the sushi too!

On our way to camping we passed through Santa Paula and wanted some sushi. Ended up here. It's really a fish market, not a restaurant as there's no place to sit. We ordered a variety of rolls, avocado, shrimp, salmon, and tuna. WOW. So Good and generous portions. Also got some shrimp ceviche which was excellent. So what to do on our way home from camping? We stopped here again for lunch rolls to take home. We will be back next in Santa Paula. These may be the best rolls I've ever had anywhere.

Everything looks fresh and clean inside. The poke bowl was delicious. Great pricing. Will be going more often.

This is not a dine in restaurant, but they have the best sushi rolls in town. We have gone twice and ordered different ones.They are spectacular!

I’ve had the ceviches and aguachiles at both the Oxnard store and the Santa Paula store and they were really fresh and delicious. We had some at our wedding and not a single piece of fish was left over. The poke bowls and rolls are tasty and fresh. The eel sauce makes it really good!

This restaurant is to order to go. I love the ceviche. Friendly staff.

First time coming here, It's located on the Harvard Blvd across from chevrolet dealership. When you are seeking all seafood vibes this is your place, from POKE, sushi, raw seafood, or ceviche options they have them all. Variety of ceviche options and all the needs for your plates from variety of sauces, tostadas and more. Love the creativity in this place! Nothing like it in the area. Pricing is fair enough and suits everyones budget. Large plates can serve up to 3-4 p and smal i would say 2 people. or 4 tostadas. Food is good. Can be somewhat inconsistent. We tried this place when a family member brought some and it was well seasoned and delicious. Now this time I would say there was a lack of flavor and salt was much needed. Unfortunately after ordering a fly flew in the case where it made me second guess. Anyways, I would suggest something for the flies due to fish attracts them. Overall quick service, multiple options, easy to find, plenty of parking.

Nice people and nice place but everything there is frozen! Not my idea of fresh seafood!

Place is super clean. They have lots of fish for purchase, as well as chips, tostadas, bottled hot sauces, sodas, AND agua frescas (tamarindo, jamaica, and horchata)!! Staff was super friendly and fast. I got three ceviches: shrimp/octopus, fish, and shrimp. All were a big hit for a family pool day snack. Will for sure be back to try other items from their menu.

This place is really good! I love the aguachiles from here! It is also a good spot to buy seafood in general. I wish I took pictures but I didn't. People there are very nice and helpful! Will be coming back anytime I'm in Santa Paula

We recently moved from Oxnard and loved the Mr Shrimp there. We were super excited to find out there is one here. We got the shrimp ceviche a few days ago and it was amazing, great price and very friendly staff. I would highly recommend giving it a try. We can't wait to go back

This place is amazing!!! Their ceviche, is by far the best I've had. They have six different variety's. Fresh!! This is our go to morning, lunch and night so good.
