Mr Softee and Nathan's Famous Hot Dogs

Little piece of my Long Island childhood only an hour away from where I live now. Nathan's and Mr Softee it doesn't get any better than that. Had a Dad-children day on Long Island on way home took them here. The ice cream and milkshake were like I remembered. Great time has by all 3 of us. Highly recommend and you will see us again.

Food was absolutely gross. Ordered 2 cheese steaks. The sandwich was soggy and both tasted like had jelly. Little children were running around kitchen. Smoke alarm kept going off. This was an experience that I don't wanna experience again

So excited that I can eat ice cream all year round now lol. 🥰 Bronx born Bronx raised Mister Softee is a must.

First time going to this new spot and I am extremely disappointed and don’t think I will be returning again. I asked for a small cup of ice cream with hot fudge and the server told me he needed to put it in a larger cup so it did not over flow. I was given the smallest single scoop of melted ice cream that I was charged 6.50 for. I should have handed it back and walked out! Completely shocked. This was a joke. Was basically the size of a pup cup from Starbucks.

Went in for some ice cream and was not disappointed in the slightest! Not only is the owner really kind but the business is clean and fresh, the employees are kind and the food is delicious! Absolutely excited that I now have a spot to go to during my breaks at work! 10/10 place!

Highly recommend! Had the hot fudge sundae and it was the best Ive had in a long time! Can’t wait to try the food at Nathans. Service was also excellent. Love the outside picnic area.

I had a very disappointing experience with this new Mr. Softee in Yorktown. The customer service was terrible. The young staff on shift were very unfriendly and seemed annoyed when taking my order. The moment we walked in the young man waved his arms and was upset that we even walked in. It was 8:00 PM when we walked in and they close at 9:00 PM. The young man proceeded to look at his wrist watch and seemed annoyed . I felt like they couldn’t care less about providing a pleasant experience. I was really looking forward to enjoying a treat, but their attitude made the visit unenjoyable. I won’t be returning anytime soon.

Great hot dogs as always at Nathan's. Not sure if it was the acoustics, but it was a little hard to hear in the store (which was mostly empty at the time). Staff was friendly.
