Mr West Bar & Bottle Shop

On the 18th of October this year, Mr West hosted our Footscray Friends and Dining group for a Gin Tasting Masterclass — and what an incredible experience it was! We had a group of 12, and from the moment we arrived we were in excellent hands. Hosted by the amazing Jack and his crew, we were guided through a range of gins that absolutely blew our minds (and our palates). Jack took his time with each pour, sharing not only tasting notes but the story behind every gin, which made the entire experience both engaging and memorable. To top it off, we were treated to an extremely generous charcuterie board — so generous, in fact, that we even had leftovers! Mr West continues to be unparalleled when it comes to their beer range and the depth of knowledge their staff bring. They’re always informative, friendly, and remain an integral part of the local community. If you haven’t been, I urge you to make a visit. And here’s a bonus tip: you can even order pizza from across the mall and have it delivered straight to your table. Highly recommended!

Hidden gem! Such a hip and relaxing vibe! Huge selection of beer on tap and some imports and must try. If you are looking for place with a chilled atmosphere and a light bite and of course some beverages! Try out Mr West! The bartenders were will verse and knowledgeable with the drinks menu and their recommendations were spot on! Exactly what I explained was exactly the right pick! Kudos! My pick was 5. Mountain Culture! There is about 24 beer on tap! Wow! Pick one :) Spacious and welcoming! Plenty of seats in or out and on two levels.

Bartender hunts down a fresh pineapple at the marketplace in order to complete my drink. That shows commitment and dedication on how Mr west treats their patrons. Also can order Slices of the best pizza 🍕 opposite of Mr west.

Nice and cool bar! Never disappointed with the service or the great variety of beers. Just a 5 minute walk from Footscray train station, super convenient!

We came here to catch up with some friends and only had drinks so were unable to comment on the food. The place has seating inside and outside. Downstairs of the bar is a bottle shop stocking craft beer and wines from a quick glance. The place is decked out in wood with a casual vibe and the bartenders have extensive knowledge of the numerous beers they have on tap.

Fabulous place to have a few drinks with family or simply catching up with mates or colleagues on the Friday after work . They have different sections of fine wines collection or local chill and delicious beers on taps 😘 I love this place to hang out especially dog super friendly but cold water only opps ha ha

Love this place. The beer list is awesome (around 20 beers on tap), and the staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Although they don't have a full food menu, you can order amazing pizza from the shop over the road, and they will bring it to your table.

Love this place. Friendly, knowledgeable staff that are happy to walk you through the EXTENSIVE beers on tap to help you find the right thing. Great cocktails as well and I really cool warehouse/loft vibe within the bar, with plenty of space (and lighting!) To have a drink with a group of friends. Highly recommend if you're out in the West and want a place to have a drink.

Awesome to have a beer hall / drink spot like this in the west, absolutely pumping on a Saturday night with awesome tunes and a great crowd! 24 beers/ciders/wines/cocktails on tap, plenty of areas to perch on. Great selection of local, kiwi, US goodies on the drinks list. Mixed crowd from young hipster kids, boys on a night out, and middle aged couples. Great atmosphere, such a pleasure to have a venue like this in the inner west with an inner city bar vibe. Will frequent again :)
