Mr Wok Chinese Express

Lady at the cash reguster wanted me to buy the large drink i asked for the small she told me small cup was for water then gentelmen came and asked me you want small dring and then told her to give me the small drink i belive she just wanted to sell me a large drink to make more money

I will start with the good points. The service at Mr Wok was fast and the restaurant was very clean. I ordered one side and two entrees there was more food than I could eat. The problem was I really did not feel like finishing my meal and not because I was full. The Broccoli in my chicken with broccoli was like mush. The General Tso Chicken was dry. It was either over cooked or had been sitting around for a while in a warmer. The fried rice was pasty and tasteless. It was basically white rice with a few veggies thrown in. I am not a huge fan of Panda Express but if I was forced to choose between Mr Wok and Panda Express I would probably choose Panda Express.

I got the “fried rice”, orange chicken, and general chicken. It was a ton of food but Both the chicken was dry and very mild in flavor. The rice had no flavor at all it was just white rice with some canned veggies in it. Felt rushed by the server. I’m not coming back. Someone else said it was clean in here but today there’s food on the floor and no one in here so could definitely be cleaned up if they wanted something to do

I wanted to try something other than Panda Express and after this meal I regretted it! I got the so called fried rice which was literally just white rice with the smallest bit of flavor and hardly any veggies. I got the general tso chicken and orange chicken…I couldn’t even tell you which one was which while eating. Both were so dry and flavorless. Not a good meal at all, sucked to not enjoy my supper!

My wife and I stop every time we pass through Fargo. Great food and service. Prices are very reasonable for the portion sizes!

If you eat Lean Chinn before. This is basically that. Though they open very late into the night so they will definitely crush your late night Chinese craving just fine.

We stumbled upon this restaurant as it's a little bit hidden in the back. I thought the food was very tasty and delicious. The staff was very friendly and the place was very clean as we ate inside. We will definitely be coming back again.

I got nothing of what I asked for. When I opened the box I saw rice instead of chow mein. I went inside and had it replaced. What I didn’t pay attention to was the meat which was also wrong. I only noticed when I got home.

The food is always fresh, always super yummy! Fast and efficient for a great price. The service is very well done! Everyone is always so nice and the vibe is welcoming!

Staff are very friendly. But food is not very good. The only thing I enjoyed were the cheese rangoons. I ordered the generals Tso chicken. It was tasteless, cold, hard and very chewy. Lucky I only got a small size. I only ate a few pieces and threw the rest away. We also ordered sweet and sour chicken with noodles. It was okay, but cold.

Pretty good when you can get there during busy hours but if you go there when it's slow the meat is hot but hard. I had a meal where I threw most of my chicken away because I saved it the next day and it got hard. Make sure you're making smaller batches more often instead of a big batch less often. The owners recently closed Oasis so I figured constructive feedback could help them keep this business growing!

This was the most tasteless Chinese food I've ever had. Even the soy sauce packets didn't help. The General's chicken and orange chicken were basically the same.

The portions as others said were big. The food was good, pretty much the exact same as every other quick Chinese place in town. Nothing wrong with it at all.

If you're looking for over salted food drenched in tasteless gravy then this is for you. I ordered the chicken and broccoli as it is usually the healthiest dish at a Chinese place. I got something drenched in so much gravel sauce I could hardly find the food. I'll be headed back to Lucy's next time. The chicken broccoli there is much better

This place gives you soooooo much food!! Every items were good but bourbon chicken was the BEST!! Give this place a try!! You will not be disappointed.

The teriyaki chicken and bourbon chicken are excellent. I ordered online and the order was ready in a timely manner. The drive thru staff were very friendly.

Stopped in here for a quick dinner with my wife. We arrived at 4:45pm. There was no one in the drive thru, yes they have one, and there was no one in the inside or drive thru. This is a brand new establishment. It was built and finished in the last six months. That being said, the interior is very plain. I do t know how else to say it. There is no personality in the staff or decor. In fact the only words exchanged were one sided I would like this... The food. The food was actually really good. Everything on the line is pretty fresh. You can order al cartel if you would like. I had sweet and sour chicken, General chicken and broccoli chicken. My only complaint was my fault. I forgot to ask for sweet and sour sauce. Everything else was really good. I was surprised at the floor and table cleanliness. There was a lot of crumbs and stuff on the floor, surprising for a new place. Overall, this is a nice, cheap, quick lunch or dinner.

Portions are unbelievable and have watched the cooks cut veggies, fold wontons, and make their own sweet and sour. Friendly staff and great food. Drive-up and delivery too.

Just heard about this place from my chiropractor. It's set up just like you would imagine it to be as an express Chinese as place. We opted for the to-go option and got a variety of main dishes in the combo option so we could try a number of things. The food was hot and the service was excellent. The staff were polite and efficient. We were on our way home in no time. We tried the steamed rice, the fried rice, general tso's chicken, Szechuan steak, black pepper chicken, bourbon chicken, butter shrimp and a couple of egg rolls. We have plenty for another meal! The food was good. Not omg this is the best Chinese I've ever had, but good as far as Chinese express take away gets. I will say the egg roll was one of the best I've had from any Chinese place in the FM area. So that was a highlight!! The fried rice wasn't all that different than the steamed rice, so that says it all. Perhaps next time I'll go for the Lo Mein.

Was yesterday with my husband just for one day. From long trip was hungry. Found this place. Fast served,food is delicious. Responsible price

Some of the best Chinese food that I've had. All the food is done and cooked when you get there you just tell him what you want and they serve you up. Bourbon chicken and teriyaki chicken or some of the best I've ever had. Very nice and clean place never had any troubles. I often visit here. Side containers are very reasonably priced and have a lot of extra food.

The place satisfies my weekly craving for (fast-food style) Chinese. Love the shrimp, but its a tad greasy --- pepper chicken and broccoli beef are tasty too. Big portions.

I'm in town on business and this sounded like a pretty good place to eat. I'm 60 and this was absolutely the worst Chinese food I've ever had. Everything was dried out. I couldn't even eat my egg rolls and that's NEVER happened. Total waste of food and money.

Fairly standard Chinese buffet. It was great and quick as I was passing through for work.

If you're looking for soggy, shopping mall food court Chinese, look no further. The butter shrimp were coated in soggy breading that was barely edible, and I'll go so far as to say the Kung Pao chicken was the worst Chinese food I've ever had- complete with heartburn a short time later. There is a menu on the drive thru window- however none of the entrees looked remotely like the pictures. Little flame symbols indicate spicy dishes - but nothing was remotely spicy, or any flavor other than gummy, cheap, fatty, small pieces of mystery meat. Highly recommended to be avoided.

Food is hot and fresh each time I go. Very friendly staff. Drive-Thru is accurate, they've never missed anything in my order. Great for a quick bite to eat when you're in a rush. There were a few times the dining area could've been cleaner, which is why it's earned a 4 star rating. One of the best Chinese restaurants in Fargo, preferable over Panda Express any day.

Our first order was a good experience. Huge amount of food for the price. We ordered the family feast that feeds 4-5. I think it means 4-5 linebackers. We had so much food! Enjoyed the bourbon & General Tso's chicken. We had this for Christmas Eve dinner & are enjoying leftovers this evening.

The best Chinese food that I've had in a long time!! Large pieces of chicken with the perfect amount of breading. Definitely coming back!

It's not top tier Chinese food but it's a way better value and quality than other fast food chinese chain.

For "fast food" Chinese food - 5 stars. Very flavorful and piping hot! We had the Egg Drop soup, pepper steak, and teriyaki chicken. All very tasty! I did not like the styrofoam container or cheap fork, but could definitely see bringing this home instead of having to drive across town. We live in WF and swung in before heading to Costco.

By far one of the best places for Chinese food in fargo area. Always had to get to go due to covid but even after getting food home it had been hot and fresh, for being made for a buffet setting tastes as made to order. noodles and rice have all been great and chicken not soggy with great flavor .

Been here numerous times and the food gets worse each time. Noodles and rice have no flavor, food is cold and the chicken was either under cooked or over cooked.

It just an ok place. It's like a mall Chinese concept, Panda Express style but not as fresh or as good. I mean the egg rolls are not homemade and the plastic forks are the cheapest utensils on earth. I guess the price it the best thing cause it's pretty cheap but as far as great it just mediocre at best. I hope they can survive but unless I'm in a pinch there are better options available

I specifically went there for the butter shrimp as I was craving it. First, it was NOT on the menu in the drive thru, I had to ask. It was the most disgusting thing I had ever tasted. I had to throw it all away. This was not buttered shrimp. It was breaded in something that tasted like expired shake and bake. I will never go there again.

Absolutely horrible place call in to make an order and put the person who ordered our into tears for the amount of disrespect that the staff has it is awful. I've been in the food industry and I have dealt with bad customers. I have had people come in right before you lock the doors but you don't tell a customer that they better be there before close then hang up! We ordered it over a half hour before close we can understand if food isn't available let us know what is still available and show some class. Completely enraged by how my family was treated and will be calling tomorrow due to "the manager isn't here call tomorrow" if a restaurant that cared the manager would be there to open and be there to close in case a BS situation like this happens. Again absolute garbage staff!
