Florida’s Hotel Selection Is Starting to Sizzle

"The C in Mr. C, as you may know from outposts in New York and Beverly Hills, stands for Cipriani, the famous family of restaurateurs. To their restaurant in Downtown Miami you can add the brand-new Mr. C Miami – Coconut Grove, on Biscayne Bay just to the south of the city proper. The 20 Best Hotels in Miami, From South Beach to Coconut Grove | Condé Nast Traveler

"A refreshing alternative to the sometimes-frenetic atmosphere of South Beach and Brickell, staying at this nautical-inspired hotel operated by the famed Cipriani hospitality clan is like walking on to the posh blue-and-white accented confines of an Italian ocean liner. The boutique hotel’s facade is made up of porthole windows and sail-like tarps separate each balcony, a nod to Coconut Grove’s sailboat culture and the town’s marina nearby. The intimate lobby is outfitted with nautical, vintage-inspired details from the plush velvet seating to a lacquered wood desk like you'd find on a sailboat. A midcentury modern-style rounded bar that leads out to a tranquil courtyard and there’s a charming coffee shop on the ground floor. A rooftop pool deck overlooking Biscayne Bay offers loungers and cabanas for sunbathing while the in-house Bellini restaurant offers coastal Italian fare. Mr. C Coconut Grove

"Why book? A slice of the Italian Riviera in Coconut Grove, this boutique stunner feels like vacationing on an elegant yacht, complete with a rooftop pool and swanky restaurant. Set the scene A refreshing alternative to the sometimes-frenetic atmosphere of South Beach and Brickell, staying at this nautical-inspired hotel operated by the famed Cipriani hospitality clan is like walking on to the posh blue-and-white accented confines of an Italian ocean liner. The backstory The hotel opened in 2020 (adding to the brand’s outposts in Beverly Hills and New York City) and is headed by the famed Cipriani family with brothers Ignazio and Maggio Cipriani spearheading this hospitality venture. Local architecture firm Arquitectonica designed the building taking inspiration from the the pier-like Stiltsville structures located off the Florida Cape and incorporating nautical elements inspired by the Cipriani family’s native Venice. The rooms Each of the hotel’s 100 rooms features a private balcony, some with views of the bay (the higher the floor, the better the view). Designed by Martin Brudnizki, the rooms have a polished flair with glossy walnut wood furniture, bright blue-tiled walk-in showers and toiletries custom-made in Italy for the hotel brand. While not especially large, the rooms have a plush feel with lots of blue and beige color schemes and tufted leather headboards giving the environs a luxe feel. Food and drink There are two dining outlets on property; the chic Bellini located on the rooftop and the more casual Il Giardino, serving coffee, pastries and lighter breakfast fare. The main attraction is definitely Bellini, with an inviting outdoor terrace featuring views of the bay and marina and waiters clad in white tuxedo jackets and black bowties. The namesake cocktail—a combination of Prosecco and white peach puree invented at Harry’s Bar in Venice in 1948—is a must-order, as are the fresh pastas and beautifully-composed dishes of langoustine carpaccio and veal scallopine. A daily breakfast offers Italian-inspired brunch items like steak tartare with quail egg & shaved black truffle Eggs Benedict Florentine. The spa Those looking for a bit of pampering can book face and body treatment appointments in the “wellness suite” of the in-house BeAtala operator. The nearby Sana Skin Studio in Coconut Grove also offers customized facials using clean beauty products. The neighborhood/area Just 20 minutes from South Beach but a world away, Coconut Grove has been undergoing a renaissance the last five years with an infusion of new businesses, restaurants and shops giving what once dismissed as a passe neighborhood an invigorated appeal. There’s plenty of “Old Miami” history like the historic Barnacle House, built in 1891 and which is now a state park, and is the oldest house in its original location in Miami-Dade County—just steps from all kinds of contemporary additions to the neighborhood like sleek omakase restaurants and fancy boutiques. The neighborhood is also perfect for families with plenty of parks and playgrounds sprinkled throughout its winding streets. And though the bar scene used to attract hard-partying college students, the influx of chef-driven restaurants has upped the culinary scene here and, with the addition of several Michelin-starred restaurants, has become a food destination. The hotel is located down the street from the Cocowalk outdoor mall and a five-minute walk to stores like Love Shack Fancy and Panther Coffee. The service The front desk here keeps a constant eye on who’s arriving and what they need, and all guests are treated to a complimentary bellini at check-in, a nod to the Italian rooftop restaurant upstairs of the same name. For families The hotel is a better fit for couples and single travelers but families will be fine with suites with pull-out couches or adjoining rooms. Accessibility Yes Anything left to mention? While the hotel is not located on or near a beach, the white sand beaches of South Beach are a short drive away and the hotel has arranged for access to beach rentals there—each room is allotted two complimentary beach chairs and towels." - Sara Liss

"Of course, there are chic new places to stay on the mainland too. Mr. C Miami - Coconut Grove is one of the latest additions to Miami’s hotel scene. A member of Leading Hotels of the World run by the fourth generation of the Cipriani family, it was designed by AD100 designer Martin Brudnizki and inspired by sleek yachts and the glamorous nautical lifestyle that Miami and Italy have in common."

Easily one of the best hotel stays, if not THE best hotel stays I have ever had! The attention to detail at this hotel is unmatched and the staff is just amazing. It is in a great location with many shops and restaurants in walking distance. I don't want to give too many details as there are so many cute, surprising things that this hotel has to offer that are sure to put a smile on your face. Again, the staff truly did a fantastic job our entire time there. I literally have nothing negative to say about this place. Can't wait to be back!!

Staying at Mr. C Coconut Grove was, without a doubt, the best hotel experience I’ve had in all my years of travel. From the moment we arrived, the staff redefined what true hospitality looks like. Every team member we encountered was warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our stay exceptional. The hotel itself is spotless — immaculate from the lobby to the rooms. We were personally escorted to our room upon check-in, and throughout our stay, staff frequently checked in to ensure we had everything we needed. Not once did it feel forced or transactional — you could tell they truly cared and enjoyed their work. I’ve never felt so looked after at a hotel. This level of service is rare, and it made our time in Coconut Grove unforgettable. I would return to Mr. C in a heartbeat. Five stars without hesitation.

Mr. C Hotel in Coconut Grove is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with genuine hospitality, stylish interiors, and a relaxed yet refined atmosphere that sets the tone for a perfect stay. The location is unbeatable—nestled in the heart of Coconut Grove with stunning views of the marina and just steps away from great restaurants, boutiques, and the bayfront. The rooms are chic, comfortable, and impeccably clean. I especially loved the balcony views and the overall calming aesthetic of the space. The rooftop pool is a standout—perfect for unwinding with a cocktail and soaking up the Miami sunshine. Service throughout the hotel is top-notch; every staff member we encountered was friendly, attentive, and professional. If I had to offer two small areas for improvement: the bathroom lighting could be a bit brighter, and the hair dryer was a bit underpowered compared to what you’d expect at a luxury property. That said, these are minor details in an otherwise flawless experience. Mr. C Coconut Grove has become my go-to in Miami—charming, elegant, and truly memorable. Highly recommended!

One of the best hotel experiences we have every had! Miami. Mr. C in Coconut Grove is stylish and modern. The location is perfect for a quiet getaway from the busy city and we loved that it is walkable to several shops and restaurants. The service was warm and personal, and the welcome Bellini was a great touch. Our room was amazing, the style and comfort were more than expected. The room is full of all the necessary amenities and more? The mini bar was well stocked with a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, it also included snacks and even Mr. C branded merchandise. The staff even provided us with a hand written thank you note which included complementary gourmet chocolates. The rooftop restaurant has beautiful views of the bay and our breakfast was delicious. ||||Mr. C Coconut Grove is a must try hotel and now one of our favorites in Miami.

Mr. C Hotel in Coconut Grove was the perfect solo escape! From the moment I arrived, I felt so welcomed and taken care of. The hotel is gorgeous and has such a chic, relaxing vibe—ideal for unwinding by the pool or treating yourself to a little me-time. The neighborhood is super cute and easy to explore solo. Can’t wait to come back for another dreamy getaway!

It’s a wonderful and unique hotel.Great staff who are welcoming and accommodating at all times. Johnathan, one of the managers is extremely hospitable and a consummate professional. Their rooftop restaurant Bellini is off the charts delicious great ambiance, food and service. We had a amazing experience celebrating our daughters graduation. Our server was Danielle, a true professional with charm who made great suggestions. I haven’t seen such a knowledgeable server in such a long time. If you plan on having dinner there you must request him.

This is the second time my wife and I stayed at Mr. C Coconut Grove. The first time was about 5 years ago for a wedding. Mr. C was relatively new at that time so we gave them a pass when it came to the mediocare service. We ended up staying here again for another wedding. Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly staff and the welcome drinks were a nice touch. Upon entering our room, we paid for an upgraded view room and it was just a view of the church across the street and the slightest view of the bay. The room also smelled awful like BO. The smell stayed in the room the entire time. The noise at night when trying to sleep was very loud, you could easily hear people walking around/coughing/throwing up in the other room. To top it off, we were trapped in the tiny elevator with about 15 or so people with no cell service for over 20 minutes! The front staff handled this very poorly. They never called the fire dept, we finally got through on our own dialing via SOS. You could clearly see on the cameras we were trapped and most of us are now traumatized by this experience. After the fire dept got us out, NO ONE, not one manager was there, no one with waters or apologizing to us. In fact they made us go down the service staff stairs in order to not disrupt the event going on at the time. Just atrocious response to a very scary situation. It was finally asknowledged by the front desk during check out and eventually they gave us a $200 credit towards our bill. To me this does not suffice the damage this has caused both me and my wife along with the other guests. There was never a follow up phone call or a personal management staff apologizing to us upon check out. It just seemed considering the severity, we were just simply brushed off and no one showed they cared. Overall, for such a reputable brand, this was a huge let down and I have lost my faith in the Mr. C brand.

I had an incredible stay at Hotel Mr. C in Coconut Grove! The location is absolutely perfect—close to everything you need, yet still offering a peaceful and relaxing vibe. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, with a modern yet cozy feel that makes you feel right at home. One of the highlights was the pool area. It had such a great atmosphere, ideal for both relaxing and enjoying a swim. The surroundings were stylish and comfortable, and it was the perfect spot to unwind during the day. The breakfast was another standout. Everything was fresh, delicious, and perfectly prepared—exactly what you need to start your day off right. From the pastries to the coffee, it was a real treat. I highly recommend Hotel Mr. C for anyone visiting Coconut Grove. Between the fantastic location, delicious breakfast, and great service, it truly exceeded all expectations!

Yelp
A very nice hotel in this area with modern amenities. The porters open the car door for you when you get dropped off and can take care of your suitcases for you. It was very nice that the drop off area was fully covered, given that it was pouring when we arrived. The main view is at the restaurant on the top floor, not super visible from even the bay facing rooms. My roommate was offered the complimentary bellini at check-in, but I was told (when I arrived later) that the bar near the front had closed and they couldn't make it for me :( They did offer boxed water, which is also offered at check-out. The room was very nice and spacious, and the bathroom was modern with a double sink, but we could've done with a bit more counter space. Unfortunately, the shower barely drained, so we ended up standing in an inch of water while showering. We didn't have any issues with noise, and it was otherwise a pleasant stay. While we didn't use it, there was a fairly small gym with only a handful of machines. All in all, a very nice hotel stay in Miami. Not a cheap hotel by any means, but very pleasant. There are two restaurants in the hotel - one is the lobby one and the other is one is Bellini which is on the top floor.

Yelp
Get ready for a single glass of Sancerre for $38.00. If you're still reading, the bartenders downstairs are excellent and polite. I asked for a Sauvignon Blanc but they had none downstairs. Their white was excellent but I was startled at the unannounced price presented when the check arrived. Make no mistake, this place is nice - but maybe a bit much for a guy and his doggie waiting for his wife to finish her 'stuff'.

Yelp
Love, Love, Love Mr C. There are so many details on why Mr C is such a fantastic hotel but simply put, its the people. They put so many details and attention into everything they put. The food was great and the drinks were delish. I love that it's nestled in the heart of Coconut grove and you can walk everywhere. This hotel is beautiful, the rooftop pool, just looks like something out of a movie. Great views!

Yelp
Love coming up Mr. C's for drinks or dinner. With beautiful views of the Coconut Grove skyline and Biscayne bay. We had dinner at Bellinis on the fifth floor where you can take in the view with a cocktail from the bar before you are seated for dinner. We had sea bass and lasagna. The fish was cooked perfect and melted in your mouth and the veggies were just as good. The lasagna is simple but the taste was perfect. A great place to come for Italian fine dining. The service was great as well! There is valet parking that you can validate and pay. There is also parking along the street or across the street, parking garage.

Yelp
Put simply, this place is fantastic. I will outline some of the reasons why, but also want to address some of the older, negative reviews that I see posted on their Yelp page. RE: staff, noise and food. Staff -- From the minute I checked in, the staff treat you like royalty. I'm surprised to read that others did not share that experience. Every member I interacted with made a concerted effort to make sure I was accommodated. The front desk, housekeeping, and those manning the pool deck went above and beyond. Noise -- even though my room was facing the bay, I think some of the negative reviews regarding noise hold some degree of merit. At times in the evening, I could hear footsteps above my room, even conversations from adjoining suites. BUT, they were hardly a distraction and very muted. Food -- I'm a foodie at heart so my standard of good food is high (IMO). I was so impressed with the quality of my meals from breakfast to dinner. My omelette was incredible, the pancakes were delicious and my favorite (the BLT), was so well done. Definitely worth every penny. Now, in terms of my stay, this hotel has it all: - Superb customer service - Excellent amenities (did you know you have private beach access on Miami Beach, with chair and umbrella included?!) - Cozy, relaxing rooms The rooftop pool was amazing and such a nice reprieve from the bustle of Coconut Grove -- you feel like you're in the clouds. Grabbing a bite to eat at Bellini was even better. Your view facing the bay is simply gorgeous and a great spot for families or a date night. The nautical theme throughout makes you feel like you're on a yacht or high-end cruise, and everything is tastefully decorated. I have every intention of returning and am telling so many friends. This place is such an awesome getaway.

Yelp
Great spot to have a brunch / lunch with a view of the bay! We got here on a Saturday around 2 pm strolling around the neighborhood of a Saturday walk. Last time we were here it was packed but now lucky to get a table. I recommend making a reservation to not be disappointed. Food looked all fantastic but we just wanted a light bite. Pretty pricey to be honest but you pay for the view, location and quality of the food was good. Definitely come back again at some point. No picture of the menu (I forgot) but expect Miami prices. They could of told us the bottle water was $9 each though... We had two appetizers, burrata and fried mozzarella. Friendly waiters and clean environment. Parking has a valet or park in the garage across the street.

Yelp
Beautiful location but unfortunately the restaurant was not like I was expecting. Food was pretty low, never understood their combinations of flavours. Tasteless Service was attentive but inexperienced (a bit of proactivity would be great). If you ask me if I would come back to Mr C installations (hotel) , I would say yes! Their pool area is great but if you ask me about the restaurant I would surely say No. Valet parking available

Yelp
I was close to the Mr. C hotel and decided to stop by to study/work a bit, and am I so glad I did! The lobby has the cutest coffee/bakery/bar spot "Il Giardino"; the service of the hostess/service personnel, Claudia A., was above and beyond amazing! She was the only one on staff the day that I went, and she was running it like if she was hosting guests in her own home. In Miami it can often be a hit or miss when it comes to quality hospitality service, but Claudia had multiple tables both inside and outside, and it started raining, but she did not skip a beat. I ordered the banana and strawberry crepe which was fantastic, 5 stars, and made by Francia. The cappuccino made by Claudia was 5 stars as well! I am just so glad I stopped by Mr. C when I did! My experience was wonderful, and I will be coming by again to enjoy another study/work session all because of the fantastic hospitality and service I received at Il Giardino!

Yelp
Beautiful hotel in the heart of coconut grove. I stayed here for 4 days and they gave us an extra night. The service was really good. Maybe too much as they kept knocking our door to refill the snacks and bar about 2-3 times a day. The rooftop restaurant has awesome views and the food and servís were 5 stars. You have restaurants all around the hotel to go to as well walking distance. Is my first time staying in coconut grove and I must say people are better here than Brickell. Thank you for a good stay!

Please have the chef taste this food. Tasteless chicken in some Sort of tomato Butter sauce. Served to a lactose intolerant person. Tasteless. $260.00 on nothing. Go to Amal. Even sandbar food is better

Yelp
I came to Mr C's for drinks & dessert only and without a reservation we were immediately sat inside. Our server was very polite and professional and we ordered Dirty Martini's which were perfect. For dessert we enjoyed the tiramisu which was delicious. I deducted one star because I've eaten here once previously which a large party and no one really enjoyed the actual food itself. The view is beautiful and it is a nice atmosphere but I wouldn't come here specifically for the food.

Yelp
If you value your rest, please steer clear of this place!!!! What a disaster! Check in Wed afternoon & all seems fine. A bit cramped in the room, but nice finishings. Fast forward to Wed night, 10pm- the local wanna be night club (Bodega) starts pumping club music that is now resinating through our room. I call the front desk to an arrogant staff & was advised that they couldn't move me because they were fully committed for my entire stay (meanwhile still offering rooms on their travel sites) and the "club" closes at 1am... Finally some peace at just after 1am! I'll sleep in Thurs morning ‍ Nope! 7am, cue the f'ing trash truck with his backup siren in the alley for 20 minutes while servicing all of the businesses that neighbor the property. I guess I'm starting my day with only a few hours sleep Honestly, the worst experience I've had in years.

Yelp
daughter this airb@b for us. while admitting that I know very little about airb@b's the rudeness and unwillingness to listen to my complaints. admitting again that I was also rude. you don't plan a vacation and expect it to be half of what you wanted admitting again to some of the room mix up was just as much her fault as mine. however I'm writing this review because of her rudeness . the hotel has no room service which was not mentioned. it is clean except the bathroom is in need of repairs to the tub giving it the appearance that it's dirty. I honestly don't know so I cleaned it, it was dirty. my daughter picked a room that was on the site but that photo was not the one we picked. again I'm full disclosure we probably just didn't realize that we were getting this crappy room. in short fault on both sides but I am the consumer of the product I rented and it lacks the thing we thought we requested. I can deal don't want to deal but I have to. the worse was the rudeness while admitting I was to but I'm the consumer get it. I give this booking a flat f for her unhelpfulness

Yelp
Beautiful location, amazing traditional Italian food. We use this spot for special occasions and it's always worth it. The employees are a bit impatient and not the warmest but they have the best recommendations.

Yelp
Big Smiles from all at Mr. C Miami. Front desk Yesni is so helpful, with anything needed to make our two night stay so perfect. The suites are amazing spotless, with great views. The pool deck team are fast with towels and drinks. Had dinner at their penthouse floor Bellini restaurant, Luca Baldoni director of food and beverage could not do anything more for us during our dinner, and thank you for the desert. Hiep our server, and of course Fabrizio the manager were quick and amazing to our party of 4. Thank you Mr. C Team we will be back again soon. Wahoooooo !

Yelp
Easily accessible with Super nice staff. They greet you hello and goodbye everytime you walk by. They treated my dog like he was royalty, very welcoming and sweet. The hotel room was beautiful as-well. Valet only and it's 40 dollars a night ( expensive )

Yelp
What a great hotel. The customer service is a five star. From the front desk , vallet parking, fifth floor restaurant, cleaning ladies and all. They were amazing! I want to acknowledge the employees at the lobby specially the baristas and crepe restaurant. Pablo , levy , Brian, I brought my own milk for my coffee due to allergies and they were exceptionally accommodating preparing always in good spirit my morning coffee. Their kindness and great conversations made me feel at home. I will definitively come back. To the managers congratulations of having such well trained and wonderful staff.

Yelp
Went to Bellini for lunch and had a great time. Exceptional service and food is really as good as it looks. Traditional italian flavors, presentation and plating.. It's very elegant though, would recommend dressing casual-classy

Yelp
I'm here to comment on the roof top bar. I'm a local so I cannot comment to the hotel although the lobby is small, yet chic, and the front desk folk is very nice. The roof top is all you need to know about this place. It's February and the most excellent time of the year to be in Miami. The weather is superb and goes perfectly with the view, the warm sun and the Old Fashion in my hand. The food is good but not earth-shattering. I had a burger. Not sure why but I did and it was aiiighttt. You come here for the view, a nice drink and the right company. That alone is worth 5 stars and a millions dollars. Cheers!

Yelp
Mr C has some awesome rates compared to other properties in the area such as the Ritz Carlton. The downside to these rates? The rooms are tiny. Even the suite we booked was tiny and it was hard to fit a crib in the living room area. The service was okay. It's a small hotel so that comes with the territory. Housekeeping was incredible, however. I recommend Mr C. It's in a great location, and even though there is no beach (there's a beach club about 30 min away though), the value you get here is great - especially if you don't plan on spending a lot of time in the room.

Yelp
Came here for the bar. Asked the bartender if he could make a caipirinha and received an insane amount of attitude. He also very rudely told me they were out of limes. Drinks are tasty but expensive imo. And the bartender automatically added an 18% service charge for making three drinks. Wtf.

Yelp
Just a fabulous Italian restaurant. Make sure to see Benny he will take excellent care of you if you're in Miami this is one of the best restaurants you will have the privilege of eating at Kent recommended strongly enough.

Yelp
Terrible hotel. Terrible service except for room service, which actually is from Bellini's restaurant. All employees are nice and cute but have really no clue what they are doing. I asked for a late checkout and they knocked at the door 3 times to tell me that I needed to leave the room. They said that they will send the bill via email and after 24 hours I have not received it. Such a beautiful architecture and glamorous place with cero customer service! An awful experience.

Yelp
Friday night after dinner my girlfriend and I wanted a night cap on a rooftop close to home. While online we ran into Mr. C's Hotel and decided to give it a try. When we got there, we were greeted by the front desk and went straight up to the 5th floor. When we walked into the restaurant it was slammed packed with no seats outside or at the bar. We decided to leave but as we were walking out of the hotel, we notice a cute little patio/courtyard that had an inside bar. We agreed to have a drink there. The décor outside was amazing with hanging lights and lots of trees, good music and a huge plus...the sofas were super comfy. Needless to say, it was a very romantic spot. The waiter (he was alone with 4 tables) came over and brought us the menu. She ordered a Dirty Martini and I ordered a Passionfruit Tequila drink (sorry can't remember the name). They took a little long, but not only was he the waiter he was the bartender/hostess/barista and busser, so we felt bad complaining. We were more than halfway through our drinks and he still hadn't come by to ask how our drinks were, which they were okay nothing crazy. When he finally came by, we each had a sip left and we asked him for the bill, which also took a little long to get. Overall, the place and decor are beautiful, but for the price of the drinks ($40 for 2 with out tip), we did expect a little more customer service. We did understand he was alone but maybe they need 1 bartender/barista and then 1 server to make the flow and service better. Not too sure we would be going back for a quick drink but definitely want to try the restaurant upstairs (Bellini). Alex n Jess @bites_through_miami

Yelp
Beautiful venue. Unfortunately my future in laws traveled to Miami from out of state specifically to tour the space and no one from Mr. C showed up for our meeting. We even confirmed the day before and received a response from Mr C that we would have our appointment. After waiting for 30 minutes, the hotel found a completely uninformed person to give us a "tour". We haven't heard from the hotel with a follow up or any apologies.

Yelp
Terrible terrible terrible! Arrived yesterday with some friends at around 6pm to a nearly empty restaurant! Asked for table and advised they were all reserved. Went to bar, had a few drinks and after an hour and half, tables were still empty and they had no intentions of giving us a table!! The maitre D was even getting personal asking what we did for a living?!! Like, how is that even relevant??? Felt Like we were being interviewed for a table! I guess our background of profitable business owners didnt make the cut! If I ran my business like this place runs their restaurant I would be bankrupt!! Never again!! Who do these people think they are??

Yelp
service rude and unhelpful. would not recommend. not helpful, not nice, not courteous. motel level service at hotel price, steer clear.

Yelp
CLASSY, CHIC and LUXE! A HIDDEN GEM in the middle of Coconut Grove! ROOMS = AWESOME: Stayed here for 2 nights for a Girls Weekend celebrating a Birthday and a Surprise Baby Shower! Feels like you're on a well-furnished yacht with beautifully designed rooms, with everything fitting just so. Everything is so well-appointed. Gorgeous and comfortable beds with Frette sheets I think. Artful touches. Classy clean modern design. Curved velvety sofa. Balcony. I loved the brass bar area on the counter area. And the clean lines throughout the room. My roomies and I had just left the disgustingly unkept and dirty Mayfair Hotel (just 3 minutes walking distance) and booked Mr C last minute. It was NIGHT and DAY. At Mr C's, we just kept marveling at how beautiful and clean and gorgeous everything was. We were lucky that we arrived on a weekend when Giorgio (or Gianni?) was manning the bar and the hidden courtyard cafe. He turns on that Italian charm and is THE MAN in charge. (Just what we needed after the fiasco at the Mayfair.). We relaxed into his care and felt even happier with our complimentary "Mr C Bellinis" -- perfectly blended and so pretty! The couryard cafe is awesome. We hung out and ordered oat lattes, and then our other girlfriends joined us (8 of us), and Giorgio charmed us and took our orders. SPECIAL BONUS: Pipa was there doing complimentary Animal Spirit reading! OMG super fun! What a cool thing to provide at Mr. C. I'm from Los Angeles, so it felt very Venice hipster, but kinda perfect too. The rooftop pool is GREAT. We spent time up there every day, just to dip in for a refresher, or gab with our gfs. We watched the sunset from there. Shared our hearts in the cabanas. We had a sunset baby shower at the restaurant area (outdoors, just below the pool area). Delicious food -- mouthwatering truffle pasta. The server Danieli (!) was so attentive and patient with our big group. One of our group tipped him an extra $100 for his excellent service. We even had a Jazzfest style parade from Meraki (a nearby Greek restaurant - super yummy) back to Mr C's. Front Desk is ultra organized, very professional and accommodating. You have to do a non-touch temperature scan before you enter the elevator. OVERALL: - Excellent Service. - Excellent ROOMS. - Excellent Amenities. Super happy about all the little extras. -- Like allowing my nephew to park his vintage (and dirty) Landcruiser for free while we were figuring out what we were doing next. -- Putting a cot in our bedroom because we had 3 of us in there. And it was comfortable and spacious for us all! -- Really excellent coffee bar and patisserie. AND food -- really great!

Yelp

Yelp
Everything about Mr Cs is consistently excellent. Nothing more to say to fill up this review.

Yelp
Perfume gross sheets. Valet car came back completely filthy from being parked next to the dumpster and then an altercation leaving when the valet wouldn't make a car move over. I wanted to get a ham, egg and cheese on a croissant and they said the chef will not go off the menu. I will NEVER go back.

Yelp
Absolutely loved my experience working with Giorgio at the Creperie. What a classy gentleman, superb service and top notch hospitality. I've hosted two events there and every time the service and hospitality has been impeccable. The food is fresh and staff is professional. Hands down my favorite spot in Miami.

Yelp
Bar hopping in the Grove a few weekends back led me to this hotel bar that's situated at the rooftop of this hotel. The view and the decor was great and very hip. You feel important when the servers in suits and bow ties As great as the atmosphere is, it felt a little out of place for the area we were in. This isn't south beach, this isn't the Biltmore. The drinks on the menu were averaging $18+ each. It was ridiculous! We ordered a bottle of what looked like the cheapest bottle of wine and even then it was about $75. It was a great experience and I don't doubt the food is great but personally I feel like the hotel is catering to a different clientele.

Yelp
This place is amazing!! I think that anyone giving a bad review is because they don't want anyone to know about this hidden GEM!! I must admit that I thought about doing the same! Amazing service, food and overall atmosphere! My daughter is a UMiami student, I will NEVER stay anywhere else again! After a long day of travel and moving her in to her housing, this was the BEST ending to our day that I ever could have imagined. I consider myself a good judge of food and service. I was very impressed by this place! Hoping it will still be an affordable option in the coming years. However, it's good, real good and my prediction is that this place is going to be a big hit! Loved our server Mija, not sure if I spelled it correctly. Wishing Mr. C and Bellini much success!

Yelp
It is basically and insult to Italian cuisine. And if you put on top that you will pay $25 for a spaghetti is even worst. Service is just ok and the food selection is pretty basic which is accord to Italian style, but dishes such as Cacio e Peppe is pretty bad. Very soupy and a basic tomato sauce lacks of taste. Temperature of pasta is just warm. Not hot and totally unacceptable. I guess this is for tourists and or people that have no idea what Italian cuisine is. Still want to go ? Buy a beer and enjoy the great view that's the only great thing there. Very disappointed .

Yelp
This review is for Bellini. The service is impeccable. The food is scrumptious. If you sit on the outside terrace the restaurant has a magnificent view of sail boat bay. I ordered the lobster salad which was fresh, tasty, and perfectly prepared. I have been back to Bellini a few times, so that says a lot about how nice this place is. Give it a shot, you will not be disappointed.

Yelp
Absolutely fell in love with this restaurant! Amazing decor, ambiance and customer service! My friend and I went to the upstairs bar on a Saturday night and even though it was very busy the bartender that attended us was amazing! He's name was Dan and he was very attentive, professional, friendly and amazing knowledge of drinks. I've been to other upscale bars before and I do believe the staff makes a huge difference on a first time experience! I tried the "famous billini's" and I was curious to know if it was just a hype or if they were really that delicious! Let me tell youuuu, they were very yummy that I even ordered a second round! My friend and I paired that with a caccio e peppe & me being Italian, I have high expectations and I thought it was delicious! Very al dente just right to the point. I'll definitely come back to this restaurant and bar soon! Thanks again Dan for the amazing experience you provided us with!!

Yelp
Went for Easter Sunday. Enjoyed Bellinis. The view was amazing and the service, food and atmosphere beyond exceptional. We ate the fried mozzarella and pasta with clam sauce. Good addition to coconut grove list of special eateries.

Yelp
Overall, the hotel is lovely and the staff are very nice. The only issue I had was a housekeeping situation after the lady came and serviced the room and bathro, she left without having replaced any towels or toiletries. We called downstairs, waited an hour, and someone brought up two towels. We had to call back and have someone bring the rest of the stuff. It was confusing and a mild inconvenience, but for $400/night I would expect to be left with a new set of towels.

Yelp
We had an absolutely lovely perfect stay at Mr. C over New Years. Walked in and were greeted with complimentary Bellinis while we waited in their art deco style oasis outside. The next day we went up to the pool. Great music, super fast service. The set up gave a mix of tanning and shade which made us want to stay there all day. I love that it's small and right next to the restaurant. A very cool private chic vibe. Also the complimentary bikes are so fun, and the hotel is right next to a park and marina so it's definitely worth riding around. Pro tip - if you're staying at the hotel, get a massage from Manuel from Cuba. We get massages often and he is exceptional! He tailored the massage to each of our bodies and stresses. Very knowledgeable, professional, on time, clean. It was the cherry on top of a perfect weekend!

Yelp
This place is everything! The hotel itself is gorgeous and I ate at the restaurant on the same floor as the pool fun fact. Service as amazing!!! I had a salad along with a delicious pasta dish. The restaurant is famous for The Bellini A MUST TRY!!! It is made of white peach purée and Mr. C Prosecco. Created in 1948 by Giuseppe Cipriani founder of Harry's Bar! Who doesn't love a good restaurant with some good history!

Yelp
I had heard that this hotel was new and nice, so we decided to book here for my son's graduation. We travel a lot (or did before covid,) and from the moment we checked in, we had issues. We booked with a University discount (other members of our family did the same,) and despite having a confirmation email with the discounted amount, the hotel initially would not honor the rate confirmed. Only after several conversations, and when I got my husband involved did the manager respond. We booked a courtyard view (with upgrade,) and had a view of the roof with garbage bins next to us. We requested daily housekeeping services and no evening bed-turn downs, we received the opposite - and checked in every day to try and reconfirm this - it didn't change. After repeated requests, one night we waited until 8pm for a room cleaning, upon our return, bed pillows were missing and one sheet was gone from the bed. The front desk was clueless and not nice. We asked for an address/hotel beach to go to and were told, "we don't know the address, just google closest beach in your phone." Upon check in there was no explanation of services, or information about the hotel. There was one really nice gentleman at the front desk, otherwise there was little help, and lot's of attitude. The pool people and valet guys were all great. These were the only areas of competence and welcome in the entire hotel. Do NOT stay here. It wasn't worth it. Picture of view from our room below
