Laid-back watering hole with a courtyard offering craft brews galore, casual eats & games.
"Simultaneously off the beaten path and in the heart of the French Quarter, MRB’s is a hidden gem, a neighborhood bar with an unexpectedly huge courtyard out back, complete with five big screen TVs. Serving tasty tropical cocktails as well as New Orleans classics and hundreds of beers, expect comfort food classics like gumbo, crawfish mac and cheese, and oysters from the kitchen." - Eater Staff
"MRB, with its rear courtyard where live music often prevails, is a hidden gem ideal for taking a load off and having a bite. Order at the back kitchen window for raw and char-grilled oysters and sandwiches (think Philly steak; turkey neck po’boys; even a vegetarian sloppy Joe). Drinks are cheap and potent." - Beth D'Addono

"This dog friendly spot on St. Philip Street in the Quarter has not one but two outdoor spaces in the back. There’s a large courtyard, which on a recent Friday was full, and then in the back-back, another space with outside seating. There’s freshly shucked oysters available all the time, along with rib-sticking bar food. Super nice servers too." - Beth D'Addono
