What a cute bakery! Full of amazing desserts that cater to all palates and many different allergies. The dairy free caramel milkshake was absolutely creamy fantastic. Perfect for a hot day. I was a little disappointed with the size of the baklava. Much smaller then other places I've been but I also appreciate that these are dairy free. They are made vegan so there isn't any honey so that makes them quite different as well. When they are busy they get backed up so please have patience.

The food is absolutely delicious!! I've tried most of their desserts, and I've loved literally all of them! I love coming here. However, if it's really busy and you're picking up an order, please check your bag to make sure everything is in there. I've had missing items on 2 occasions and only realized after getting home. On one of them, I decided to call them and let them know. They realized the item was still with them, and they told me I could come back later and get it. The next morning, I arrived, and they treated me like I was extremely suspicious and clearly didn't believe me. After 10 minutes of discussing and calling someone else to verify I wasn't lying, they gave me the cake and ice cream that I already paid for. I didn't love that experience, but it didn't stop me from coming back many times again. I love their food and will continue to support them. But I hope situations like that can be avoided in the future.

Craving good kanafa, I did what any reasonable person would do and asked Google. It delivered. This is a great little mom-and-pop spot with genuinely friendly staff and only two kanafa options, which is honestly all you need when they do it this well. Both were incredibly fresh, perfectly balanced, and dangerously easy to finish. Every bite was spot on. Simple menu, no gimmicks, just excellent kanafa done right. If you’re craving it, don’t overthink it—this place understands the assignment.

So many options here which is very rare for a bakery type place! I loved the tiramisu and cannolis. Also the chai was fresh and delicious. Would definitely go again, this is an underrated spot

We had dinner at a restaurant down the street and one of their employees suggested this place for dessert. They were spot-on! I love their offerings here--mousse cakes, cannolis, rolled ice cream, baklava, and soufflé pancakes (to name a few). They offer global comfort sweets made with quality ingredients without being too syrupy! That's what I love about desserts from the rest of the world--they're not saturated with sugar. My only complaint is that there weren't more places to sit, but hopefully with how busy they seem to be, they can afford to expand!

I don't know what hole I've been living in that I didn't know this place exists but now that I do, I'm gaining 100lbs by 2026. I asked them what I HAD to try and they absolutely new the assignment because I took one bite of the Biscoff Tres leches and my knees buckled. I made an appointment with my doctor because I know I'm going to need diabetes medicine by the end of the month. I'm positive now that I know what heroine feels like. If you enjoy pleasure, do yourself and everyone love a favor and get some dessert from here. Anything.

Amazing prices . I love trying different cultures food and you definitely get that here. The staff are awesome and always happy. It’s an amazing place . Oh ! And prices ! They are so cheap ! And they cut deals with bulk ordering . They have seasonal food so it’s always changing. I am blessed to live by this place 🙏🏻 also a curse because it’s soooooo good !

We had dinner across the street, and stumbled into this place because we were parked close by. I am so happy we did. It is a small shop, but the selection is wide. We did not try the Kumpir because we had already had dinner, but the dessert selection was outstanding. Is a collection of Middle Eastern and western style desserts. We tried a birds nest baklava, as well as the walnut baklava. The walnut baklava was average but the birds nest was phenomenal. The texture was light and crispy. It was sweet, but not too sweet. It was a wonderful dessert. So many different things to try here. I really hope to come back for dinner because I love potatoes and dessert again sometime soon. Even though it's small, there are quite a few tables where one can sit and eat. The staff was very friendly. I highly recommend this place.

We went back for Kumpir this time around. We both got the Chicken Kumpir. The ingredients: Chicken Breast Slices, Corn, White Potato Salad, Red Pepper Powder, Parsley Flakes, Black And Green Olives. The potato salad was tasty, but it seemed weird for it to be there. The chicken isn't sliced, it's shredded. This is fine. Just making note of it for those who might try this dish and feel some confusion about this item. Everything, other than the potato salad, went well together. The potato was hot and it was stuffed with the ingredients. It was a very filling meal. The only problem with the visit is that they no longer had paper menus to read and the one menu on the wall was in Spanish. While I can speak the language, my brain was not prepared to do translation so that my friend could confidently order what they wanted. They do have an electronic menu, but it moves too quickly to be able to read it and make a selection. This was a big change from our last visit when we got ice cream. Other than that, we were pleased that we gave Kumpir a try.

Ordered two cannolis and was excited to try them, but unfortunately they were pretty disappointing. I was genuinely surprised--the filling tasted more like Cool Whip than traditional mascarpone, and there were no chocolate chips inside as expected. The shells were just okay, nothing special. Overall, not what I was hoping for.

First time in and am definitely going back. Such a cute space with a few tables, and it's open late!!! (Until 10pm!) We got pistachio cannoli which I really liked because the cream wasn't really sweet, Oreo birds nest baklava (which has a squirt of honey added at the end) and pistachio Dubai bar (delicious melty chocolate outside with light crunchy inside). Have to go back to try their specialty desserts (we just ordered from the case this time), rolled ice cream, and drinks. So happy to have found this gem.

Spotted this location while explaining my new location. There are a lot of options to choose from: shakes, baklava, rolled ice cream, and more. I chose the rolled ice cream as I never had that before. It wasn't as sweet as I'm used to, but I was fine with that. Pricing is pretty average and the locals love it from what I saw. Happy to have this near to try some more treats in the future.

At this point I would call our group connoisseurs of the Dubai Chocolate bar, if a shop sells it we're going and when I heard about Mrs Dessert & Kumpir I knew we needed to make a trip. I'll be honest, we have a favorite shop in town but Mrs Dessert & Kumpir is closer and cheaper. We all got into the car and arrived about an hour before they closed. While we tried other items that were decent we were really there for the bars. I have to be honest, if that was my first experience I don't think we would have chosen to become connoisseurs . It was really thick chocolate and the flavor wasn't there. The filling wasn't as crunchy and it was very oily. For me, I most likely wont be back for this item itself- with it being the latest craze there are a lot of better options out there. I would like to return and try some of their other items because the menu looks great, and there were a lot of other goodies in the case calling my name.

Get thee to a kumpir! Popped on by post-holiday weekend to try a smattering of items. Wasn't really certain what to expect with the kumpir- I thought it was just a simple baked potato with toppings. Boy was I wrong! It's like the most flavorful twice baked potato I've ever had with a creamy potato filling. I tried the spicy version- it was so good! The spicy sauce was fantastic. Loved the plump sliced green olives and jalapeños. I got the drink combo special and added o a refreshing mojito. The main reason I came was for the viral Dubai chocolate. The bar didn't hold up well structurally, but that didn't affect taste in anyway. This chocolate is vital for a reason! I have yet to try the other items including kanafeh and cannoli but I'm sure they will be just as tasty too!

We decided to try Mrs. Dessert after having dinner across the street at Hai Hai. It was a lively place and there was a bit of a wait to get our order, but it was all very good. They have quite a selection with several different types of Baklava, cake slices, Macrons, and other pastries. They also offer shakes and other creative drinks. And, as the name implies, they also offer four types of Kumpir (stuffed baked potatoes). We were there for dessert and tried a Cannoli (good, but filled with a whipped cream rather than the traditional sweetened ricotta), Red Velvet Cake, and an Oreo topped Baklava Bird's Nest. All were nicely balanced and not cloyingly sweet. Definitely a place to consider if dining nearby.

So we ate across the street at Hai Hai but their desserts didn't do anything for us, so we walked across the street to this little neighborhood place. Wow the desserts are amazing.

Stumbled upon this cute middle eastern dessert shop recently,craving something sweet in the area at lunchtime and they were one of the few places open Yum- we bought a lot of desserts to share and take home for the weekend and they are all soo tasty and authentic! It's nice to have more ethnic desserts in the cities - slowly getting there! Spoke to the owner who was friendly and he gave his story background- he convinced me to try the rolled ice cream and it was fabulous Can't wait to try more flavors next time It's a small store so be patient if there is a line- moderate $ these days - they have to survive as a small business

I am mildly obsessed with the Dubai Kanafeh chocolate bar. It's so luxurious, the chocolate it soft and the inside is nutty and crunchy... mmm I'm so tempted to order a few for delivery right now. Also fantastic: the Turkish Kunafeh. Warm, melted cheese covered in shredded fillo and topped with honey and nuts. I'm embarrassed to admit I could eat like two of these without blinking. Another showstopper: the Baklava Biscoff Bird Nest. Amazing textures and lovely rich flavor. Does it get better? Yes it does, they're open surprisingly late. What else? The ladies who have served me are almost as sweet as the baklava. Some of the best desserts in the Twin Cities, and they even deliver. Just order five chocolate bars and a couple Kunafehs. You'll thank me (and then curse me during the ensuing stomachache).

Such incredible desserts, it was hard to choose and I must say I'm glad we tried several things. We got the hand rolled baklava ice cream - which they hand rolled in sight which was so cool to see. Also the Dubai chocolate bar with pistachio, canoli, and a chai tea. We loved it so much that we got some to-go to give to our friends. Great service and cute place.

Very adorable cozy bakery right across from hai hai so you can get your eats and pop in for some sweets! My husband and I wandered over as he was really craving a chocolate shake. There were so many different types of pastries available it was hard to decide but he stuck to his guns and just got his shake. The service was quick and super friendly, we stayed and ate in the shop to avoid the rain & it was lovely! The shake itself was a bit runny whereas he likes them a bit thicker but tasted great nonetheless!

This is a cute little store that is family run, if I'm not mistaken. We came after having lunch at another local restaurant and wanted dessert. They had the viral Dubai Pistachio chocolate which was melt in your mouth delicious! It was so good and I couldn't stop eating it and ended up getting two to bring back to Dallas with me (though they didn't travel well we still ate them). The basbousa and mango cheesecake we got we were not fans of. I did take some baklava to go and those were good for the most part. The staff was friendly and helpful when we were asking questions about what they had available etc.

If you love dessert, this cute little dessert shop in NE should definitely be on your list. They offer a wide selection of desserts, some traditional, some Middle Eastern, and others with new twists on old favorites. Personally, I think Tres Leches is just okay. I'd rather have cheesecake or carrot cake, but the Biscoff Tres Leches here is mind-blowing--11/10. Delta should stop serving Biscoff cookies and just serve the Biscoff cookie butter cream. The pistachio cake is a 7.5/10. The pistachio flavor is very light, and it's more of a semi-sweet cake, which I wasn't expecting. I think it's meant to be paired with coffee or tea, which probably helps bring out the full flavor. The Ferrero Rocher rolled ice cream was tasty, and I'd give it an 8.5/10. I just wish there was more chocolate in the ice cream instead of just drizzling it on top. I haven't had rolled ice cream in years. There are fun flavors to choose from on the menu. Service was quick and easy. There isn't a lot of seating, so I can imagine it gets busy at certain times of the day. However, when I went late at night, it was pretty quiet and relaxed.

We had pistachio baklava and chocolate dipper cannoli. The cannoli was top notch. One of the best I've had. No fruit in the cream, which is how I like them. The baklava was a miss for me. There was too much but filling. The pastry couldn't hold together. Made it hard to eat.

This is my #1 Favorite Business in not just Nordeast but in the entire City of Minneapolis! All the food there is Insanely Delicious! The service is Excellent! The staff here are super friendly and helpful. With a laid back and super chilled out Ambiance. If You haven't tried it, I assure You MUST! AAA+

In an amazing location we finally tried this spot! Baklava is one of my favorites and it did NOT disappoint- we also tried some pastries. I can't believe we haven't been here before. Definitely a great dessert spot !

While eating dinner at Hai Hai, notice Mrs Dessert across the street and thought we'd give it a try. They had a huge selection of pastries, but given the fact that it's Turkish-centric, we decided to stick with the Baklava and weren't disappointed. The traditional Turkish baklava was outstanding, but we also tried the less traditional Oreo and Biscoff and both were really good, particularly the latter. We think it's important to have locally owned businesses like this do well in the Twin Cities, so only to happy to give a well-earned thumbs up.

What a fun discovery. I had the chocolate bar with crispy wafer inside but also pistachio. Hubs had the Oreo baklava. These were desserts that were new to us and we loved them.

The absolute best vegan milkshakes I have ever tried. No weird aftertaste like many gave. Just purely delicious. The non-vegan agrees. I'm obsessed.

The rolled ice cream is so creamy, you have to try it. Oreo is a great flavor but they have things like Ferrero Rocher (with a little FR on top) too which was excellent. They also have options like Kinder and baklava mixed in which I want to try as well.

This is a new restaurant in Northeast. You will find some things here you have not seen in Minneapolis before. They have some Turkish and Iraqi treats, as well as rolled ice cream. We had Kumpir, which is a type of loaded baked potato. Very beautiful presentation, tasty and filling! But you won't be able to resist the desserts - they have some cool creations. I tried the MDK crepe which had all their sauces on it - it was incredible (and a little messy). The proprietors were so friendly and kind, we enjoyed our visit and will go back when we can.
