Mrs Fisher's Potato Chips

Went there due to seeing them on tv. Didn’t like the regular chips at all. They seemed stale with no salt on them. Cheese popcorn was just ok. We came from 75 miles away and we are disappointed.

Been eating these since I was a kid! My favorite chips! Fresh off the line! They changed the recipe, but I still think they taste good. Either way I'll continue supporting them all the way from New Mexico

Haven't had them in years because we moved, stopping by on hot chip day delivered us a bag of delicious, warm chips. The Mrs. Fisher's chips I remember but healthier (a little)

I'm a big fan of rippled/wavey chips I have tried many different brands so I tried Mrs fishers rippled well to say the least never again the taste was horrible I thought I was going to break a tooth chewing them they were so hard

Just wondering if you use reject potatoes? It was hard to find a chip in the whole bag that didn’t look like this. What a disappointment and embarrassment serving guests. Do better!!

It isn't a weekend without Mrs. Fisher's potato chips. They did change the recipe and they are still a great chip. 2 lbs for $8 is a great price.

I live in Missouri, and my kids always bring me Mrs Fishers , they live in Rockford, brought me two bags, last weekend. These was the worst tasting chips, I ever had. I can see the oil being changed, but these chips are so stale, and didnt have any salt, told them not to bother ever, bringing me anymore! What happened to these chips?

My husband is on a no salt diet, but loves chips ,I'm able to get no salt chips here,I have been ordering them for pick up ,thay even call me to let me know their ready, and freash that day , Delicious who could ask for more,Great place and people and wonderful chips

I have eaten Mrs Fishers Chips since I was 8 years old. We used to live in the area where they are located. I still love these chips 55 years later!!

Short, sweet, and HONEST review of Mrs Fisher's Potato Chips. This business is, in my opinion, Rockford Royalty. Only rivaled by Ole Salty's, Fishers is a must try product of the Forest City. The owners and staff are always pleasant. The prices are fair. The product is outstanding (Especially since they have returned to the old recipe). Little tidbit. The owners support local as well. I purchased 100 individual bags of chips for work during the holidays and they gave me a deal. Personal favorite is mixing the classic chips with the dark chips and stopping by during the week and buying a bag of freshly cooked chips. As always, make a visit and form your own opinions. Support local!

We've loved these chips for years and after moving out of state we would order them every year around Thanksgiving time. This year they sadly do not taste the same. Still crispy and salty but tastes like they changed the oil they are cooked in and so disappointed in how they taste. We will no longer be ordering them.

Got a long relationship with Mrs. Fisher's Potato Chips. Over the years I have learned to purchase the 3.5oz or smaller bag as one could sit down with a 5lb tub of these chips and not stop until the crumbs at the bottom can be seen. As other reviewers have mentioned, Mrs Fisher will ship these like-no-other chips anywhere in the 48 contiguous states and they always arrive perfect.

I love them I grew up with Fishers. Chips are crisp and tasty. I hope they don't sell out to Lays, ever.

These WERE the best tasting chip out there and were my fav for many years. But now they have changed the vegetable oil to something called INTETESTIFIED SOYBEAN OIL, which has taken a way their special taste and leaves you with a chemical aftertaste. Goodbye old friend!

Best potato chips EVER. My family used to ship a 5lb bucket to us waaaay back in the day. Now i just like ordering 2lb bags for friends and family. The look on my brother's face when he opened his xmas present a couple years ago was priceless. The price is just right, they appreciate customer loyalty (Rockford native here). It's not the healthiest snack, but it's a damn good one!! Treat yourself. You can order small snack-sized bags, too. They are not your average potato chip! And for those of us who like the "burned" chips, they bag those specially too! Waste not, want not.

No party is complete on my mom's side of the family unless Grandpa brings a dozen bags of Mrs. Fisher's Potato Chips (there's a lot of us). Half of Christmas day is spent around the kitchen table snacking on bowls that alternate between the wavy and original variety. No hand is left ungreased. Although there are a lot of memories and nostalgia associated with these crispy chips, I don't think anyone could argue with me when I say that these chips are freaking fantastic.

I know these are a Rockford product, but I'm sorry-these chips suck. There is a strange aftertaste. Like the oil they use to fry them in is old or rancid. Good old Lays from the grocery store are better. If you feel better about going local, try Old Sally's.

Best chips in the world. I grew up eating these when we'd visit grandma's house. Well we buried grandma this last weekend and had to stop in and get some (4 tubs) for old times sake. Every bit as good as I remember and didn't have to pay shipping this time. Don't ever change!

We travel to Mrs. Fisher's in Rockford whenever we visit my son in Lake In The Hills. We have enjoyed these great chips for over 40 years. We like all kinds of potato chips but these are our favorite by far. Their outlet store at the factory has many excellent treats so we stock up on other snacks when we make our chip run each month or so. I don't believe anyone eats as many chips as our family and I don't believe anyone makes them as good as Mrs. Fisher's.

Best potato chips ever! Always take them to special events with out of towners who always are amazed. YUM!
