Mrs Kays Kitchen feels like a true taste of home! The food is rich, flavorful, and freshly prepared — just what you’d expect from authentic Nigerian cooking. The jollof rice and plantain are delicious, the abula too and the soups are full of bold spices. The staff are warm and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. Whether you’re Nigerian or just trying the cuisine for the first time, this place is definitely worth a visit!

it was a culinary experience like no other! The aromas, flavors, and warmth of the space transported me to the heart of Africa. The jollof rice, suya, and fufu were all expertly prepared, and the hospitality was top-notch.

I ordered abula for pickup . Only for my husband to pick up & come back with amala & red stew or whatever this is. I paid $30 for this. After calling to complain about my dinner being ruined, she denied them giving me the wrong order. After sending her video & pic proof, she then rudely texted me to pack it & bring for a refund. As in? I’m I going to eat it and collect a refund? Then she offered to send uber to my residence to collect the food?? More worried about collecting the plate back than acknowledging my concerns?!? As a restaurant, do u plan to sell the food to the next customer or eat it? I’m truly concerned and would like to know. Rude & Unruly, clearly an uneducated person claiming to run a business. Cause if you were educated, you wouldn’t be texting me rubbish after SENDING ME WHATEVER IT WAS !! I plan to package it and take it back to her for my money. BEWARE, Hopefully she doesn’t just package it and sell it to the next person.

First timer! A little let down. 2pm and EVERY pastry (meatpie, eggroll, fishroll ...)on the menu - not available, moimoi - not available, one spoon to dish pretty much everything! Nevermind cross contamination with fish (allergic to it) and multiple times requested another spoon be used until eventually obliged. Lady was pleasant enough but can serve quicker (glad not to have been the next customer). I was a to-go, environment however appeared clean enough on first glance while waiting. Meal was tasty, only portion worth its price in my opinion was the Abula. In addition to not being local, I doubt I will go back even if in the neighborhood.

I cant rate the food because I went in yesterday to order but there was a bad smell in there. It smelled like a cat litter box needed to be changed. No food smell at all. I couldn't get past that. I hope the owner give this place a good deep cleaning. It's off putting to not smell any food at all when u walk in a restaurant.
