Simply 6 out of 5! ⭐️ Unbelievable culinary experience. This gem was a rare and unexpected find in on Berlin’s restaurant map. Tasting menu was prepared with a great thought and aimed to please both at the same time: most sophisticated and casual tastebuds there is. Each of 12 dishes was made beautifully and exploded in flavors. Some of the combinations of spices, tanginess, salt were to die for. I have never experienced a culinary experiment like this before. Nice selection of wines, some of them very distinctive. The ambience in the restaurant is amazing, music played from vinyls, not many seats therefore staff can give every guest their full attention. If you are looking for an upscale dining experience Mrs Robinson’s is definitely a place to try out.

Let’s start of with this place is amazing! Had dinner here this Saturday night, we arrived super early as there’s no booking due to COVID 19 restrictions, so got ahead of the crowd. Service was exceptional, very friendly and warm staff, super knowledgeable about the dishes and the very interesting wine list. The VIBE was also great! We had delicious dish after delicious dish, each having complex layering of flavours, but with simple and beautiful plating. The plates are small sharing plates, that are flavour packed and toe curling good. Three of us shared 9 plates and came away satisfied, full and happy. Go online check the menu that they publish and see what delights you’re in for. Another cool thing, is you can see on the menu who’s supplied the meat/veggies and other products that you are eating in each dish, small local farms, artisans etc. To sum up, cooking of the highest caliber, interesting insightful flavour combinations, a must visit in Berlin. Thank you for having us!

I actually expected more from this place. The price is too high for what you get. Some of the dishes weren’t well executed and the service could have been better as well. Starters were better than the main. Quail wasn’t tasty, included oranges that weren’t mentioned on the menu and also was over cooked.

Really excellent food and service, I love the commitment to sourcing ingredients sustainably. All the fish was good, but the grilled items particularly so. The savoury dishes were stronger than the desserts, but overall for the quality and the ingredients I think it’s a fair price for the whole menu.

The tasting menu was very nice. Interesting flavours, attention to detail, and I cannot fault the execution at all. The staff is friendly too. It isn’t a bargain for Berlin standards but also not exorbitant for what you are getting. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place

Beautiful chef's table tasting menu experience. Thank you chef Tomaso & team. Stunning seasonal, organic produce. Highly recommend!

They are now doing takeaway fried chicken & burger steak sandwiches. The chicken one is very very good - it has a tonkatsu style breading with a great smokiness and bbq flavour from the teriyaki-style sauce. It comes with a homemade eggy bread which is just perfection. The steak one was not as good in my opinion. It felt a bit like biting into a large piece of undercooked meat (not enough texture and too chewy). The plum sauce was a bit too sweet and rich for my liking. Overall, they were good and I was happy to support.

Finally made it to Mrs Robinson's and ohh my god it didn't disappoint. The restaurant is small and cosy, the staff are superb, attentive and just the right amount of chatty. And the food is simply stunning. We've had the tasting menu and wine pairing and it was heavenly.

Yelp
Service was amateur. Our second course came before they even brought our wine. Waiter seemed more concerned being a DJ making his record selections. They seemed to have forgotten our dessert while we waited for 20 minutes. We asked for our check and waited another 15 minutes while he went back to choosing and playing his records. Food was good but service was sub par and did not do the food any service. No pun intended.

Yelp
One of the best meals I've had in Berlin. The brussel sprouts were amazing!

Yelp
KFC is ten time better and ten time cheaper. I do not understand the other reviews , it smell like you reviews your own restaurant. Bad

Yelp
Terrific for foodies -try the chefs table - the chef himself explains things and you get to see how a lot of the food is prepared. The "shneck" is to die for.

Yelp
That was quite intermediate. The food is something too adventurous and has little balance (e.g. some tofu floating in biting chilly sauce with fresh peppermint on the top). The personal has little fortune - for example they can spill some wine all over your dish and your dress and prefer not to mention it as though it's not a problem. Also we have been waiting a lot of time for attendance. All in all - a pretentious place that has little to offer.

Yelp
I was at once underwhelmed and confused by the food here. Completely not worth the money or even the time spent sitting at their table. The food is pretentious without delivering. I can see they are trying to rise above the unimaginative Asian fusion restaurants in this city but the result is completely unpalatable and unsatisfying.

Yelp
A dining experience so unsatisfactory that it calls into question the legitimacy of the blandly positive reviews on this site. While the starters and desserts were innovative and even delicious, the main dishes were ill prepared and the portions so laughably tiny that they were served on a plate the size of a salad plate. After waiting more than two hours for these main courses, the four of us devoured them in literally five minutes. It was more than a half hour later that the desserts arrived (one is tempted to invoke the cliche that they were worth waiting for, but by this time we had been there almost three hours). What is perhaps worse, when we gently pointed out the problems with the food and service, the manager had an excuse for everything. The three hours that it took for our meal to be served were the result of another table of eight that slowed down the kitchen (clearly we were not as important as they were). When my friend tried to explain that the garlic in his dinner was apparently spoiled, he was told that he was mistaking the taste (however unpleasant) of marinated garlic. There was not even a hint of compensating us in any way for the bad food and inexplicably slow service. Though the night grew dark and cold as we waited for each course, we were at least glad not to be sitting inside, where thumping loud music made conversation difficult. If you've read about this restaurant and want to try it, just order a starter and a glass of wine, but do so soon: Mrs. Robinson's is not likely to be around for long.
