What a truly PHENOMENAL experience. My daughter and I were looking for a place for dinner. We searched google for BOBs and this came up. We loved the food pics and decided to try it out. And we are SOOOOO glad we did. Not only was the food DELICIOUS, but the space was beautiful, parking easy and the staff were the friendliest people I've ever met. Even my daughter (13) was like mom i love it here lol.

I never write negative reviews- but as a fellow POC business owner, I feel it's necessary to report my experience. I ordered takeout via phone an hour and a half before close (which, although later, was still well before closing). When I arrived, the waitstaff said the order would be up shortly. After a 20 minute wait, the staff preparing the food arrived, only to drop the fried chicken that had been sitting for some time, in the fryer, report that they were out of most sides, and deliver food that I immediately threw out when I arrived at home. As a small business owner myself, I understand it's not easy- but sometimes you only have one chance to make a good impression. This was not it, and unfortunately I won't be returning. Hopefully this was an off night and the quality of service improves.

The food is amazing. I’m not some one that leaves reviews. This was a great experience I live about 35 minutes away an I got take out. The food was still hot and fresh when I got home, I got fried chicken, macaroni and cheese and collard greens. Everything was fresh clean and tasty. My husband got barbecue chicken, macaroni and cheese and collard greens. He thoroughly enjoyed his meal. We both Split a side of cheesecake rolls they were delicious, crisp and soft Cheesy and moist on the inside. Just the way I love my cheesesteak rolls. they especially dressed up our cheesecake, dessert, and it did not disappoint.

I was having a terrible, horrible, very bad day. The food and service here turned it around. I got bbq buffalo wing dings, Mac and cheese & greens. 10/10. Also 10/10 for the friendly service. I will be coming back whenever I’m in north Philly and they’re open. Those wings were SOOOOOOO crispy even with the sauce on it! Mac and cheese was made perfect! Greens were so good too 😍. I also got a banana pudding and while I wish they put more cookies in it, it was good! They were out of potato salad and I was sick as a dog about that because I know it woulda been good!

Nah this was amazing. I’m a VERY PICKY EATER!! Everything was 10/10 yams perfectly sweet, mac nice and cheesy with flavor, huge piece of salmon nice and juicy on the inside, yellow rice was so freaking good. Worth the 25 minute wait and $25

Came in to town ordered take out , our first time eating there, food was very good especially the mac and cheese and fried fish, my only complaint, i ordered just the fish and no sides i was told i get 3 pieces of fish, i only got all the way home and it was 2 lil pieces of small fish, it was good though but i paid $20 for that? i also had the turkey wing platter it was good but i can’t stand eating big turkey wings that look like they was injected with something , them was some big ole turkey wings. had to trash one. My fiancé got the wing dings and fries he said the wings was pretty good.

Drove up from Portland, Maine, to look at colleges with my daughter. We stopped at the aquarium in New Jersey; it was fun. I googled "what's the best soul food place in PPhiladelphia, we drove 45 minutes and I'll tell ya the food was incredible Boston don't make no soul food like this if you go to Philadelphia stop here 1 time you'll be back and the cook and waitress was so nice and funny thank you all for a good time we got home safe.

Food was excellent. Service is exceptional. I couldn't ask for anything more. It's not a great location but not the worst. It's totally worth the experience. Try the home-made lemonade .
