Service is 20 out of 10! Food is out of this world! Best deal in the city for Tacos, Burgers, Philly cheesesteaks and wings!!! Plenty of vegetarian options as well. Must try the bakery!! The Soc it to me cake is out of this world!! Can’t rave enough about the seasoning, service, speed of orders and location. Very close to the Stadium!!! Also they are know for their catering!! Highly recommend Will be back! Hope they open multiple locations soon💗

I saw this place on social media and had to try it. I ordered the sweet fire wings and fries combo. One thing I notice is the family community oriented atmosphere. It’s almost like you are visiting your favorite aunts place to go eat except she charges you to do so! Overall the wings were juicy and these ones were sweet and not spicy as I thought but great. I ordered a yellow on chocolate cake that looks and taste like your auntie made. You cannot beat that! I look forward to trying some of there other menu options particularly spaghetti next time I’m in the area

Got a double cheeseburger and with slightly high expectations. And let me tell you, it was one of the better burgers I've had in LA. My boy went with me, and the dude's a picky little punk about Burgers, he got a double cheese with Bacon and Egg. And he's already been back there at least one more time since Wednesday. Please don't come here expecting a fancy burger cooked medium with a fancy bun. This is a home-made thick, done well and welldone, meaty burger with seasoning. So if you're looking for a burger that will satisfy craving and appetite, this is the spot!

Been going here since highschool which was decades ago. Combo no longer is $5 but the home cooking is still the same with Ms. Ruby being in the kitchen to supervise! Inflation means our dollars don't stretch as far, but they have managed to still be cheaper than most restaurants in the area.

Had the tacos, seasoned fries, wings, and a strawberry soda. Food is bomb 👌🏾. Everything is freshly made when you order. Takes a while to get your food but it's worth every minute 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

The wing special was just okay I feel that if you are a bakery stick with baking I feel prices are tad bit High for the quality of food you get

Burger juicy not that juicy sloppy, sloppy not fresh,Taco seems to be cooked old from the shell to the mixed inside old tasting. Very disappointed

Well, I always pass by here, so I decided to finally stop, and boy, was it worth it. I had a turkey burger combo, which the spread was spread. Fries were not shoestring small but in that family and seasoned well. Black cherry soda. The food is cooked to order I sat in there and ate that juicy burger.

Food is seasoned very well. I like the taco and Zucchini just make sure it fried hard enough IF your preference. Chicken strips are meaty and juicy. Oh hamburger was good. It's why I came back next few days.

I've been coming to this place since it was called Coleman's back in the days. I probably get tacos from here once or twice a week. The ground beef tacos are fire with a lot of meat, you'll probably only need two to fill you up even if you're greedy like me. The burgers are huge and well seasoned. I like that they use fresh ingredients and vegetables like the green leaf lettuce on the burgers and tacos. This is a black owned business so please support our brothers and sisters who run this place. It's just a small location for great to go food. I haven't tried the cakes but everyone in the town says they're bomb.

Ms ruby's red velvet cake is by far an office favorite, you can call and order over the phone and the staff goes above and beyond to help and accommodate your request. Ms ruby's is a small hole in the wall jem in Inglewood, they have variety of cake slices to buy and they also have food, I've never eaten there but I've had the cakes and hands down amazing each time.

Ms. Ruby's has been an Inglewood staple for many years. I had my engagement cake made by them. I highly recommend their red velvet. Call 24 hours in advance and they'll have your cake ready!

We first visited several years ago to pick up a red velvet cake for a friend. The cake came highly recommended, was extremely reasonably priced, and did not disappoint. We have since become regulars, not only for the decadent cakes (also sold by the slice), but for the delicious lunch and dinner foods. The portions are generous and the prices are fair. Some of our menu favorites include the tacos and burgers (turkey and plant-based!), wings, and spaghetti. Food is cooked made-to-order and comes in generous portions. There is a small, clean dining area for those who choose to dine-in. Customer service is fast and friendly and they accept phone orders, which shortens the wait time. Metered street parking is available. I recommend parking on a side street if possible, as I've witnessed a couple of accidents on Manchester while visiting.

I stumbled upon this place by accident when looking for somewhere good to eat, and I am so glad I did. Every single thing my husband and I got was amazing! The tacos are so good! My kids keep asking when we can go back because they absolutely loved their chilli cheese fries, and one order was enough to feed 2 kids, so my wallet loves that. We will definitely 100% be going back. This is our new to go spot from now on!

The sock-it-to-me cake was very good too! Looking forward to the next slice I try! So far, so good!

If you get to LA anytime soon, here is a suggestion as a place to visit. One is Ruby's Bakery on Manchester in Inglewood. Not only are they surviving harsh competition from McDonalds which is directly across the street from them, they can also teach McDee's a thing or two about making hamburgers. They also know how to treat their customers.

The tacos are so good. they will mess up on your order now the spaghetti used to be great but don't know what happened.

Stopped to get fish for lunch and the place was closed so we walked down a couple doors and found Ms Ruby's! So glad we did!!! My daughter ordered their cat fish lunch and said it was cooked to perfection and enough for 2 meals!! I ordered the chicken strip lunch and was hoping for the best! I am telling you, the best chicken strips I have ever had! The chicken was so tender and the batter was so crispy!! I have no idea what the seasoning was on the fries, but I will be back to find out! The food was cooked while we waited and you could tell! Everything was so fresh and piping hot! We will be back!!

Great turkey burger and fries combo...twice per month easily. And I do my best not to get a slice of red velvet cake but have to.

Local spot In Inglewood owned by a family from Inglewood! Customer service is always on point food is always good and made fresh to order! I'm either getting the Cheeseburger special or the taco special.

I really like Ms. Ruby's, but this time I have to give it a three because I was not completely satisfied with this supposedly chicken Philly cheese sandwich . First off I have never had any type of Philly cheesesteak sandwich with sliced American cheese on it, this is where they went wrong. This sandwich could've been so much better with shredded Swiss cheese on it, I won't bash the sandwich too much because personally I do not like American cheese but I still stand firm on a Philly cheesesteak sandwich having shredded melted Swiss cheese, it is everyone's prerogative on their personal views about this sandwich but for future reference I will stick with the turkey burger that I usually get.

Wings were ok. The fries were not fresh. I would have preferred a bit more flavor with the burger meat.

Best red velvet cake and frosting. I live very far from Ms. Ruby's Bakery but I'll take the drive there. Order a cake with notice, I believe it is 24 hours notice. However, they sell by the slice. Good size portions. They also sell cupcakes, burgers, tacos and other food. It's a small place but we'll worth it for my family and I. Been going for years!

The food is very good. There are a variety of menu items. My fav are the tacos, burgers and wings. I love the red velvet cake as well. The staff are welcoming and good people. You definitely should try. The prices are decent as well.

Always fresh , tasty , "everyday " affordable . Great , honest customer service. Desserts are amazing but don't sleep on the food it is great as well. I love it EVERY time !

I'm really sad that I'm just finding this hidden gem less than a block away from my old apartment. There is no doubt in my mind that the baker knows how to whip up amazing cookies and cake. I would graciously without a doubt give this place a 5 star rating but I'm only giving this place a 3 star due to the lack of good customer service with the younger lady. The gentleman had to step in and answer my questions because he could tell that with every answer her attitude grew stronger. she obviously didn't like her job or felt bothered. If a customer is trying to ask "what's popular here." "What's your favorite item because I may be interested in trying it out." Your response shouldn't be. "I don't get it..." " well, what ever you're craving for. I don't know what you like..." I did appreciate the younger gentleman stepping in to save a paying customer. Anyways, The cookies are amazing. The cheese cake topped with banana pudding was great ( call to see if it's available that day though. Because the next day I came back they didn't have any available.)

Tried to support this business. I have to give them a failing grade. Poor customer service. Waited 7 minutes and rang the buzzer several times. Finally I left. But I thought I'd call to see what's going on. The man who answered was short on patience. He told me no one came to the counter because my "order was not ready". This is ridiculous. How could my order be ready if you never took my order? Why not just say I m so sorry we are short staffed... please try us tomorrow and ask for me... I'll be sure to take good care of you. But no... no customer service, no apology... I might try them again in the distant future. Maybe they will do better then.

I go into the bakery to ask about ordering cakes for Thanksgiving. I was to told by the gentleman that works there daily to order one week before Thanksgiving. He appears to be annoyed and I felt as if I was bothing him. SoI called the week before Thanksgiving and he tells me that they are not taking any more orders. MsRuby can you please teach a class in customer service. I will never return there. I will be going to SWEET RED PEACH.

Ruby's Red Velvet was so damn good! We had half on Valentines Day with two kids and 2 grandparents. The next day I was thinking about it and talking about all through work. I got home and forced myself to wait until after dinner and then it was on! Even my kids said it was a big piece of cake on my plate. I told them to get their piece now because there wouldn't be any left tomorrow! That said, the service was great and the location was easy in and out with plenty of parking on the street.

I remember having Ms.Ruby's for the first time in 1996. It really "WOWED "me ! ! ! , and I became an instant Fan. I took her signature Red Velvet " to slot of parties , gatherings and events. I believe her "Red Velvet " is truly one of the better ones around. So your wondering why 3/ STARS ? Well , it's a good cake ... but not the " OMG" factor I look for in cakes & pastries when I do a review. The service was find and I even spoke to Ms.Ruby herself, who occasionally sits down in the store and greets her customers. I also had the "Sock It To Me", and the " Cream Cheese Cake " which I thought where good as well. Her cake is moist , good texture and just the right amount of cream cheese that doesn't overpower the taste to the point where all your tasting is cream -cheese without the balance of confectionery sugar. I only come here for her Cake ( Red Velvet) and that's basically what I'm writing about on my review.

We've eaten here before and the food we had was down right disgusting. (chili cheese fries and some sort of fried fish plate) but this review is solely for their red velvet. We ALWAYS come back for that! Recently, my husband stopped by 3 times and called once and all those times they were sold out. So finally, this past weekend our siblings were in town and we drove over. I walked in and as soon as the guy seen my husband getting out of the car he instantly recognized him as the guy that kept stopping by for a slice but to no avail. They were also sold out that day but since he felt bad for my poor hubby, he magically produced 4 slices for us. HOW NiCE! This red velvet is THE TRUTH!! I mean honestly.. Just try a bite p.s. All the times we go we always hear people order turkey burgers and tacos. So ill try that eventually.

This spot is the most amazing fast food mom & pop shops/restaurant you can find across from McDonald's. I find this place a good deal for a big, filling meal versus a small portion you find at expensive restaurants. You don't need a big cup at McDonald's when you can have a soda. It is filling enough since most people waste their large sized cups & end up having a stale, flat soda sitting in their vehicle's cup holder.

It was more of a fast good place with only 4 cakes, only by the slice available. Hard pressed to call it a bakery. Bad customer service to boot.

The restaurant had great food and great service. I called Phone orders in and they're always ready when I get there the food is better than advertised. Please try the chicken, Philly cheese sandwich or the turkey tacos.

This is by far one of my faaaaaaavorite place in Inglewood to go to for a juice turkey burger combo with fries and my choice of drink for under $10. Freshly handmade everything, its r ran by one or two people but mostly just the owner, he's an awesome person and amazing customer service. As soon as he's done taking your order he immediately heads to the back and begins preparing your order. Wait time is no longer than 10 mins, the business is on a busy main street so there's only street parking although you can park across the street in the Mac Donald's parking lot. I love coming here and will continue to come here.

Ms, Ruby's is my all time favorite for red velvet cake! It truly is the best red velvet cake I've ever tasted.. I haven't been there for a while due to moving away from the area a few years ago, but discussing red velvet cakes this weekend made me think back to Ms. Ruby's, and immediately needed to hop on here to make sure that they were still open, so the next time I'm in Inglewood, I can pay them a visit for a slice of their amazing cake!!

I got the bacon cheeseburger, the meat was ok, but the bacon was under cooked. The price is good and it was done in a satisfying amount of time. I also got the Sock-it-to-me cake and that was awful. Overall a 3, I'm not sure if I'm going back cause if I want a burger I can go to Fatburger and if I want a piece of cake I can go to Kobblers and Kream.
