M's Tavern NYC

Incredible new restaurant in NYC! Cozy yet very spacious. And the food and the drinks are out of this world. Chef Dan is one of the most talented chefs I've ever met. I love everything about this place.

This place was fantastic! They only opened about a month ago, so weren’t very busy but I think once the word gets out, they’ll be packed. We stopped in for lunch and they had all the college football games playing and had had great music in the background. The service was quick and the food was incredible. We got a bunch of different dishes to share and every single one was tasty: the pirogies were my favorite, but the meatballs, mushroom/leek dip and the brussel sprouts were also great and I’d get all 4 again!

This will soon be a neighborhood spot, replacing a previous business that was very cluttered and overwhelming, this new is cleaner, using the old-fashioned bar dark wood style and brick concept, this place offer a more modern approach. The service is excellent, with Sasha behind the bar, he provides his full attention, even when the place super busy. Definitely a return visit by yours truly.

Looking for a great place to watch the game or just hang with friends old and new?! Then this isntour place. Great atmosphere and great food and drinks. They even have a drink director so you know the drinks are top notch!

As a long time Desmond’s customer, I really wanted to hate on the new joint, but I gotta say, I’m impressed with how they managed to preserve a sense of the old space. It’s gotten a good scrubbing, a solid and tasteful makeover including new bathrooms, a nice menu with proper happy hour prices — plus the staff is really incredibly nice.

Great place, love the vibes, and the food is amazing!! Chef Dan is sensational and the Staff and Owner are very welcoming and friendly. Definitely will be back soon and add this to your list!!

This is by far my new favorite Gastropub/sports bar/hang out! Everyone is so warm & friendly, the ambiance is so cozy, love the exposed brick! The food is next level delicious & so unique!! You’ve gotta try the pretzel & sausage, lamb burger, happy hour hot dogs (seriously where can you get 2 hot dogs in Manhattan for $6???) and so much more!! Such a great happy hour too!!!

Gastropub huh? Well, we went as former clients of Desmonds. The new place has a burger/beer for $19.00. The burger was fine, fries fine, beer was the house beer which that day was Michelob Amber. They have definitely cleaned up the place. I would say pricey, but that might be harsh. OK. The proprieter responded, which to me means A. They must not be a mega corp and B. Someone local is trying to run a business for people in the neighborhood. The burger was very good and the atmosphere is nice so honestly, it deserves the 4 stars. I will go again and try it without dreaming for the Desmond's 5 dollar burger lunch special.

AllFunNYC from insta again!! This place is soooo fun! Amazing people, chef and owner! Drinks were very strong and well made! :) Ok soooo the fooood!!! The burger was incredible!! Well cooked and all ingredients fresh and delicious! The hotdogs were hugeeee! The wings were amazing!! Must have! And ask for any cocktails they make them very well! I had old fashioned and martini (passion fruit and a dirty one) both very good! The interior is big and feels very cozy definitely what you want in a tavern!

Stopped by here again as they added new menu items. Evrrything was so good. My fave were the pickle wings they were nice and crispy with the perfect balance of sauce on them.

Amazing new restaurant in Manhattan. It's super spacious, yet cozy. The drinks are on point and they have an excellent drink menu. Now to discuss the food... Out of this world!! American, German, eastern European, this place has every base covered. Every dish is savory, comforting, and the flavors are insane. Chef Dan knows exactly how to get the people excited. I love everything about this place and will definitely be coming back many times.

This is a MUST try! New Gastropub in NYC. Same chef as Kitchen at Cobble Hill & SideDoor. Chef Dan knows what he is doing! The food, the drinks, the ambiance. Everything is always perfect. I was so excited to come here knowing how amazing his dishes are and I was not disappointed! This is such elevated bar food. Everything is fresh, delicious and very photo worthy if you're a food blogger like myself. I didn't take a photo of it but the mushroom and leek dip was one of the best dishes I've had in a while. DEFF do not skip on that one! Another one of my favorites was the large pretzel. It was seasoned with everything bagel seasoning. The German potato salad was phenomenal. They have an amazing variety of drinks and amazing happy hour specials. This place is a gem and will grow quickly so get in there!

I think gastropubs are my thing now There are fresh crisp greens on the menu. I love the upgrade from the basic bar menu. They definitely offers unique taste: -Brussel sprouts with sour cherry glaze -Gyulai sausage flatbread -Kale & beet salad -Pretzel with sausage, potato salad and sauerkraut -Pierogi -Chicken meatballs and of course the classics: chicken wings and hot dogs

This bar is a cool space with a good list of beers and a decent happy hour. The staff were great too. I was served by a guy named Justin (I think) who was friendly, attentive, and didn't even seem to care that I was cheering against his beloved football team all day! But forget all that good stuff, the food is what you should come for! THIS PUB HAS PIEROGIS!!! And they're magnificent! maybe I'm drunk but I can't wait to go back and try more from this menu! My new favorite bar in the neighborhood.

Good spot for beer, nice bartenders, relaxed environment. I went at an odd hour so it was empty which I was looking for, not too sure how packed it can get during peak times

This place is my new favorite in the neighborhood. The food is unexpectedly good. And drinks are solid. Sasha and Flavia are amazing hosts. I'll be back during my next work trip!

This was a great place to stumble upon. Great vibe and service was amazing. A highlight of my trip to NYC.

Was in town for a leisure weekend. Started my night at Tavern 29 (which was a horrible experience and left after 15 minutes) and then saw M's Tavern and decided to try. Let me say it was the PERFECT experience. Upon entering, the staff greeting us promptly and made us feel welcome. The staff was amazing and attentive and didn't miss a beat. The food was delicious! We immensely enjoyed our dining experience. Next time I'm in town I look forward to returning!!

Best Pretzels in NYC. Outstanding bar service. Lovely ambience with brick layout. Great for outings for friends, especially after work.

Visited New York City for the week and M's Tavern was by far our favorite restaurant. The food was excellent and our server, Sasha, was awesome! We highly recommend this place and hope to visit again someday.
