Operated by Mt. Lebanon Partnership, this Saturday morning market activates the walkable Uptown corridor with regional farms and bakers. Local press frequently includes it among the area’s most reliable weekly markets.

Smaller farmer's market but a high quality one with a wide selection of local veg and fruits with a friendly left of center selection of small businesses selling hot food and finished products. Well worth the effort to attend but be aware of smaller vendors selling out by 5:30-6p if you attend later.

20 plus vendors. Fresh farm to table produce. Ribs, gyros, beef burgers, pierogies and pizza. Shaved ice and confections. Honey, homemade pies, cookies and Kettle Korn. 75 free ADA accessible off street parking spaces. 4 to 7 every Wednesday. Rain or shine. Bring the dog and kids. This is a community event for all.

Sadly, no organic produce. But the produce vendors here have excellent vegetables and fruits. Not a huge variety, but some of that is the regional culture. Yet it's better than 10 years ago.

Love this farmers market. You can get fruits and vegetables, honey, flowers, soap, pierogies, pies, bread, BBQ, meats, and other items. I only wish it was more than once a week!

Good to see local stuff being sold here. When I visited, there were around a dozen stalls. Hope it's going to grow and we get more local vendors to join.

Lots of fresh, yummy weekday meal options if you don't want to cook!

Love the vendors there, but there have been fewer and fewer in the past couple of years.

Try the handmade soap they sell there. I love the Patchouli

Yelp
Had a very nice stop by this local community market. Church parking lot. Classic! Our CM Liz made some fun arrangements with various vendors, and I enjoyed shopping and making a number of purchases. Already into the beefsteak tomatoes, gonna have some steaks tomorrow. Good bread selections. The guacamole was fantastic. It could benefit from having rest room facilities available.. Last one of the year. Seeya in '24.

Yelp
I am so fortunate that the Lebo farmer's market is so close by. My partner and I look forward to coming each week, and supporting local businesses. Covid 19 update Safety precautions in place, patrons wearing masks. Vendors wearing masks when speaking to customers. This farmers market used to be 1/2 the size that it is today. It seems as though every week a new vendor is added. Some of our go to's: Logan Family Farms - they have the best steak selection. Trust me, once you have their steak you will be spoiled and never want anything from the grocery store ever again. Bad AZZ BBQ- if you're coming for BBQ be sure to get there early. He has been known to sell out quickly. Pierogies, pies, cookies, honey, fresh baked bread, produce, quantum spirits, pita pit, gluten free/vegan options, frozen ice slushees, pickled sandwiches One of the best farmers markets around! 10/10 recommend

Yelp
I've been coming here for the past few years but really got into the habit of coming regularly last year. I think it's both easy to park and easy to navigate with plenty of space for both. I always hit up Dillnar's Farm (am I spelling that right), the only farm offering with all the fruits and veggies. Recently I've been purchasing some baked goods from Dee's Delight's including the cinnamon roll and cookies. FYI the peanut butter cookie is gluten free, yay! I just bought fish for the first time from the meat vendor (I'll have to remember to look at the name to update the review next time). The shrimp and tuna steak were excellent and I'm 100% going to continue picking meat up. It's mostly seafood but he had three different steak options too. This year our first stop has been the snow cone stand. God bless the owner for hand cranking the ice block into shaved ice. I assume their arm muscles have to be amazing from doing this over and over. Tons of different flavors for everyone to choose from and $2.50 for the small isn't bad. I've also have had the Bad Azz BBQ a lot, which is very good. I really like their pulled pork and baked beans. They do not carry their coleslaw there, which is a bummer, because of keeping it cool. They also have chicken and ribs. With COVID, they're requiring everyone to wear masks, which thankfully people are complying. The line for the veggie's is usually pretty long but it moves very fast, so don't be fooled by the long line. My only wish is for some more vendors. I'd love to see a juice place and maybe a variety of cheeses (the one vendor that I think was new only had a couple cheeses and homemade yogurt, which looked good. Maybe another meat vendor with salami, pepperoni, etc (so you can make cheese boards) would be nice too. Overall great experience!

Yelp
For 32 consecutive summers in the South Hills, the Wednesday Mt. Lebanon Farmers Market has offered a diverse farm to table menu. With hot take-home items like bbq, beef burgers, pierories and tacos, it's a great family meal option. Fresh produce including gmo fee options are availble while speciality products like honey, apple/ pears/ peaches, flowers, humus, home made pies and shaved ice make the experience complete. With 80 parking spaces adjacent to the Market, access is quick and convenient. The location is 975 Washington Road/ Mt. Lebanon United Lutheran Church Parking Lot at the intersection of Cochran/ Washington Rd. One block from the Mt. Lebanon Senior High School. Every Wednesday from 4 to 7. Starts the first Wednesday in June and end the last Wednesday in October.

Yelp
So-so. I'm probably spoiled by the year round California markets and I know this year was rough for such events and I don't want to bash the farmers who make this happen. Still, I found it just too small, and too little selection - very few vegan things on offer too. Probably not in a hurry to return.

Yelp
Is it summer yet? I really miss this farmers market right now - as a South Hills resident it's nice to be able to go to a market that isn't out in Oakland or even outside of the city limits. This particular market tends to operate from May or June through October, and is set up in a parking lot that's near the Mt. Lebanon business district. This means that it's very easy to get to and it offers a great chance to talk to local farmers and business owners. I admit that this is certainly not the biggest farmers market ever, but it does have the necessities that you need to stock your kitchen: produce, bread, meat, cheese, amazing baked goods, homemade drinks, arts and crafts - in the last few years we've even had tea brewers, juicers and wineries join the line-up, so the selection here is definitely growing and it's been really cool to see the expansions over the years. At this point a local shopper could probably easily remove a number of basic groceries from their shopping list just by stopping in here. Of course, since we live in Pittsburgh there is always a chance that rainy weather might make a market visit uncomfortable at best or even impossible at the worst. And as with any market the selection varies week to week depending on who can make it here and who can't. So those are definitely things to keep in mind if you're planning a visit to the market. But let's be honest, regular Pittsburgh shoppers should be used to both of those possibilities. What really matters is that the South Hills has a growing local farmers market that's well worth checking out - I definitely hope I can stop by when they come back this summer!

Yelp
The market is in the name only. Two farm vendors selling the same old tires fare: the pick of yesterday at prices that will put the local Giant Eagle to shame (as they are higher, of course) and the variety that is horoughly lacking. Two more vendors sell pretentious elitist pickled stuff, once again, overpriced. I went twice this summer, and switched to Thebes Giant Eagle's produce department for good.
