Great hike with great views! Definitely a moderate to difficult level hike as there were some steep rocks. Would recommend for ages 10+. Bring lots of water and snacks to refuel and recharge. Easily spent 3 hours on the mountain. Parking is LIMITED (2 small lots with maybe 10 spots each) so get there before 9am or carpool to reduce the amount of cars.

Great 2 hour loop with 1000ft elevation gain! Nice views of Delaware River and Mount Tammany at the summit. The part of the hike that surrounds you in native rhododendrons for a few hundred yards is really nice and green all year round. Parking can be difficult on the weekends so you might just have to park on the residential streets across from the trailhead parking. Pretty heavily trafficked on the trail in weekends but far less than Tammany across the river…

Many trees, little species diversity yet charming, rhododendron canopied path sections were excellent, great sense of community with other walkers- 1.5 hr jaunt with spurts of jogging recommended.

Amazing trail! We did this trail from AllTrails recommendation! Did Appalachian trail on the way back! Great views! Weather was perfect! A bit too many caterpillars on the summit!

Mt. Minsi trail - you get a great view on Mt Tammy and the river. The trail offers a great work out to go up. Some section is muddy and you need to step on the stones to go through the brook. But it's very beautiful scenery along the trail. I would rate this trail higher than Pulip Rock and Pinnacle Look. You can use the following coordinates to get to the parking lot.40°58'47.1"N 75°08'31.9"W. Go there early though. After your hiking, if you want more, you can go to 611 South to see the overlook: Resort Point overlook, point of gaps overlook and arrow island overlook.

10/18/2020: Today I organized a hike with 3 families to come and see the beautiful fall colors. It was breathtaking! Check it out for more pictures. 09/30/2020: The parking lot can only park around 10 cars. By the time we arrived at the parking lot at about 11:00am on Wednesday today, only two spaces left. Later I saw another smaller parking lot up to the hill a little bit. Maybe there are more spots but it’s a tow-away roadside no parking zone. It took us 2 hours to hike on the white trail up the mountain to reach Mount Minsi with some stops on the overlooks, then down thru the fire road all the way back. We loop around some other trails on our way back. Overall speaking, the white trail is much harder than the fire road, but it’s definitely worth the hike as you can only see the water gap from some wide open overlooks on this trail. Take your hiking pole/poles with you to hike on the rocky trails. The views are breathtaking! I think it’s better to see the DWG from PA side than from NJ side as on NJ side you view against the sunlight. Pictures definitely look nicer and clearer taken from PA side. Now that fall colors have started to show, we got to have pictures of colorful foliage. But given one or two weeks, the fall views from the mountaintop would be breathtaking! We will go back soon!

Minsi always gets overlooked in the shadow of Mt. Tammany but Minsi is really great. It has more views, a really wonderful waterfall and walking through the Rhododendron make you feel like you're in a jungle far away.

Parked at point of gap overlook. Hiked a steep 30 mins to cliff with gear. No marked path. Didn't see any cleaned routes found some good bolts. Toproped at third big crack about 200'. Some glass on route and loose rock but overall a good time.
