"It’s easy to eschew regional chains, but for a pile of late-night totchos accessible via a drive-thru, look no further than Muchas Gracias, with locations throughout the state and Vancouver. The fast-food Mexican spot is about more than just combo meals; it also turns out a respectable rendition of carne asada tots, a cross-cultural delight piled with seared beef strips, a blend of cheddar and jack cheeses, sour cream, and chunky pico de gallo." - Krista Garcia

Basic Mexican food. Not too expensive. We got the chicken fajitas and beef burrito (cebeza). The fajitas were good, but the burrito was immersed in oil, it soaked up 3 full napkins (pictures below). This completely threw me off. One of the reasons to pick Mexican was to eat something less junky, but this turned out to be a disappointment. Maybe some will prefer it that way but it’s not for me

Got the pork carnitas burrito. Carnitas was plain and tastes like they don't season it. Burrito had Pico de Gallo and a small bit of guac. Burrito was so basic I had to buy a side of beans a rice to eat with each bite. Tried their salsas too. Red was plain, lite green was alright, and deep red one was kinda gross. Store was clean. Idk guys, I might come back to give a second chance. Jamba smoothie next door was on-point though!

Haven't been in a few years because I live in another country but I return here at least once every time I come to Oregon and bring others because the food is so good. Was salivating today remembering my last trip. Food was excellent, authentic, perfectly spiced and generous portions. Great value for money. The only thing that could be improved was the air conditioning was a bit strong and some of the tables could be cleared a bit more quickly.

Tacos were huge and delicious 😋 I recommend the yummy creamy green sauce. It's the best. Prices are fantastic for the portion size.

Ive been a regular at this location for a few years now. They were great when i worked as a delivery driver. They're just as great when i come in as a customer. Their spanish rice is delicious. I don't know what they do but i will spend about 12$ for a tray of rice and it lasts a few days as a comp to other dishes i prepare at home. That being said, their bean and cheese burritos are awesome. One slight criticism is whenever ive gotten a carne asada burrito, or fries there's always a couple pieces of gristle in the beef. The flavors usually excellent but its obvious they're using a low cost supplier for the beef. I also know there's been supply issues for a lot of places, hence why they still keep the 5th star in my review. The kitchen knows what they're doing. Flavor is delicious. But they could use a higher quality supplier for the beef. Just being honest. Front of house gets you taken care of in a timely manner. They're not very chatty or sociable. But lets be honest. You're paying for a fast food meal. You're not paying for the cashier to be your best friend. Cleanliness has never seemed to be lacking but ill be honest. Since covid, i get all my food to-go. So im not the one to ask about the in-house dining experience.

Can't really say much for the atmosphere I use the drive-thru. Only place open at night in this area and well worth the drive. Large portions authentic Mexican food very quick through the drive-thru.

The food is consistent with their other locations and the staff is friendly! The only thing is that this location feels weirdly empty and every time I go in I have to check to make sure they're actually open. They are!

Typically a place I go on a weekend if I did not make time to cook. I got the enchilada plate, not too fond of that one. I tried the Carne asada fries, they were good. I also tried the oregon burrito. Perhaps it was the time if day that I went but it was not the best. Tasted, like it was not fresh. The place didnt seem too clean. There were tables that were left unclean by previous paytrons. They did have a sanitizer stand which was great. I'd say about average restaurant level as I've gone in other times and it seemed to be about alright.

Yelp
Thought a quick lunch at Muchas Gracias would be cool, and it was! Shrimp Taco... excellent! Fish Taco... excellent... Cheese Enchiladas... also excellent! The Carrot Salad was killer, and what a surprise! Chips and salsa, just ok. The beans and rice with the combo was good. The rice, better than usual! Service was great and very warm. It was so cool that they were working in Spanish, behind the scenes. I was concerned the food might taste too salty, but that was not the case. If I had to critique anything, it would be the "look" of the restaurant inside. I'm no expert, but I think parts of the looked a bit tired. Fortunately, the food and service were great. We're thinking this is the best fast food experience we've had in a while!

Yelp
I used to eat at Muchas Gracias near to the Lloyd center frequently, and loved it. In fact, I've left other glowing reviews under my student account. However, this evening was disappointing. My partner and I decided to try the SW Barbur Blvd Portland location instead, because it was closer. We ordered the same thing we always order: "two bean and cheese burritos, one with sour cream. one kids cheese quesadilla." What we got was two burritos both with sour cream, and a full size chicken quesadilla (Not cut!!) I know it's not a huge deal, but when it comes to ordering vegetarian and getting meat, that's bad. My partner is also autistic, and is very averse to sour cream. So it did spoil dinner. I still will try again - just not this location.

Yelp
I used to have a Muchas Gracias in my neighborhood in Happy Valley that got rebranded to Victoricos a few years back. I've had some bad experiences at the new spot and eventually hit my breaking point and took them off my regular rotation. I haven't had MG at all since then and decided to stop by MG Gateway since it had been so long. I'm glad I did as I missed it so much. I was happy customer as this location was everything I remembered from when I was a regular at the HV location. My steak and egg burrito was made fresh to order and tasted great. It was large and filling and I loved the sauces. This location has a huge dining area and was nice and clean and spacious. Will visit again when I'm getting the craving.

Yelp
A) There are few pleasures better in life than consuming a well-made, tightly rolled breakfast burrito that has no aspiration to be foodie-fare. Eggs, meat, cheese. Maybe some potato. B) Bonus if you can slather that burrito with an exceptional salsa. And great salsas are rare. This place has 3 that are forgettable. But that spicy green salsa is the thing that cravings are made of. It lives in my mind rent free. I want to slather it on everything. C) It IS a bit pricey and they did forget to add sour scream, per my request. Not a huge deal.

Ailene J.

Yelp
I'm not a big carnivore... so I'm not a great critic of Mexican food. I love the breakfast burrito at Muchas Gracias. I like to sub beans for meat and I don't think about the fact that the beans likely are cooked with some type of meat or meat fat. I ask for creama and avocado and I like the red and green salsas. My bf orders the carne asada breakfast burrito and he loves it. I like to see lots of people from Mexico eating at a Mexican restaurant. That's my sign that it's gonna be good. The food is consistently good, it's clean and our go-to for breakfast burritos.

Ave R.

Yelp
I stopped here on my way home from PDX, I just ordered my go to which are tacos. I got 2 carnitas 2 adobada and 1 asada. I didn't care for the asada ones much but the carnitas were bomb and adobada also was good. My top would be the carnitas one tho. Also the portions are huge like the tacos had ALOT of meat! I got 5 but felt like 10 with the amount of meat that was on them. I def recommend! The only thing I didn't like was that the tacos were a mess, so much cilantro and onion. (picture for reference.) That is why the 4 stars. But for a late night meal it's a must.

Johanna Mari G.

Yelp
YO! Only Mexican spot in Portland that makes carne asada fries that come close to San Diego! I am from LA and have had Mexican food all of California and in Mexico too. So my standards for Mexican food outside of California/Mexico are high. Get the carne asada fries right now because it is soooo good! You won't regret it! Every other place in Portland has been a let down when it comes to Mexican food. The green spicy sauce is soooo fire! The fries are not soggy and they packed that box with a lot of carne asada!!! I will drive to this spot all the time when I'm Portland if I'm craving carne asada fries because it reminds me of home!

Raquel R.

Yelp
I ordered a NO MEAT breakfast burrito and luckily cut it down the middle before biting in. It had steak in it even though the wrapper said NO meat on it as well. This is SO messed up!!!

Calien M.

Yelp
Just like an influencer on Instagram rating stuff, I give this a 10/10. Don't ask why you are eating a fish burrito that resembles a McDonald's Fillet O'Fish. Just accept the service is quick the inside is clean and they still have a cool fish tank. 10/10 of ten of ten!

Heather R.

Yelp
I love this place! Everything is delicious and tasty. Their pickled veggies are yummy, enchiladas are delicious, and the staff is super nice! They are always willing to give you extra sauce when asked.

Jim W.

Yelp
I can't leave 0 stars. I don't eat beef, pork, etc, I do eat seafood. So I ordered a shrimp burrito. But I got home and found I got beef. That first bite was disgusting to me. What if I ordered again and the same thing happens. So, not going to eat here again.

Jennifer L.

Yelp
Sometimes you want Mexican restaurant food without having to leave the house so we've ordered from Muchas Gracias delivery. Everything arrives as expected. I prefer a place with a good combo plate, which they have. Their prices are reasonable and they have things like rolled tacos (taquitos) that I don't always see everywhere. It's nothing fancy, just basic Mexican food, but it's well prepared and tastes good. My partner really loves fajitas and these are so ample you could use more tortillas. Honestly everything here has been really tasty and we love the variety and prices.

Debby E.

Yelp
We ordered breakfast burritos through GrubHub. I had the ham burrito and added beans. Beast breakfast burrito I have ever eaten. My husband had the sausage burrito. He said it was a good but thought it needed more sausage and less potatoes. The servings were HUGE. Would definitely order again. Only reason for 4 and not five stars. We paid for extra sauces and they were left off the order.

Daniel S.

Yelp
I have had Muchas Gracias plenty of times, but whoever was making burritos in that kitchen last night might be the best burrito maker of all time. Everything about it was perfect. I first noticed how incredibly nicely it was wrapped. I knew right away by how perfectly symmetrical everything was folded that this person took care in making this food. Then when I opened up the burrito and cut it in half I could see that the ingredients were the perfect ratio. Also, normally this burrito, while being delicious, can be kind of messy and oily from the carnitas. Not the case this time. No excess oil to be found, and every bite was perfection. Thank you for giving me the best burrito experience I've ever had.

Chuck M.

Yelp
We had great service and great food. Enchiladas an Carne Asada Nachos were delicious. We will be back.

Alana R.

Yelp
I got food poisoning from their food. I do not recommend ordering late night craving from them. Specifically a steak burrito. It had no cheese or sour cream just guacamole, pico, and rice.

Alex C.

Yelp
The food here is consistently good, and the staff is always super helpful even when they are really busy. Love this place.

Rita J.

Yelp
We LOVE this place!! We got food here last Friday evening and everything was perfect. Everything we requested & any changes made to our food were done and not missed. It was hot and fresh and delicious. I usually get the chicken fajita burrito and my husband gets their enchilada and quesadilla. If you're into this kind of food then please try it out!! The staff is super nice too and food is made quickly.

Makayla A.

Yelp
The food is really good, I got the shrimp burrito and the shrimp was perfectly cooked. However, the reason it's 3 stars and not 5, is because I ordered it with guacamole and sour cream. It was still a really good burrito but spending the extra money on those toppings and not receiving them bummed me out.

Keon K.

Yelp
They do the bare minimum serviceNot only did they get my simple breakfast burrito with chorizo order wrong, but they didn't pick up or even attempt to remedy their screw up when I called to get it fixed either. Ordered take out because they were the only place open, but if you need to eat late night, just starve or go anywhere but here. I absolutely promise you'll be better off. Why? Well If you need to come back to fix a wrong takeout order late night (which totally happens sometimes and is fine usually)..chances are they will lock you out, rush to close and refuse to help you. When I called back AGAIN the cashier was absolutely clueless as to basic business principals and the manager was just as unhelpful and incompetent in helping remake my burrito. Even when I returned the next day before closing to get it fixed, they told me I should've came for a refund sooner; and that I didn't know what I was ordering...WTF?! Honest to god,I'd check out Habanero Burrito on SE Holgate,by the Dime Store instead! Much more fresh ingredients across the board! Not to mention the owners of that cart provide10x better customer service. They are much more willing to work with customers and treat you with respect instead of belittlement when things go wrong. Just my honest experience. Be careful guys. Don't open your wallets for them. Much better Mexican food in the area. Used to be a fan until I realized how trash this places service can be for how mid the food is.

Diana H.

Yelp
This location is always on the ball. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is so yummy you wouldn't think it was "fast food" cause it really isn't! My go to is the enchilada combo. Even the frijoles and rice are flavorful. Hubby also likes the enchiladas but he sometimes goes for the Carne Asada fries. These are really good, just for me lacking in any veggies. Their sauces are to die for, but watch out because some can be super Caliente! Stop in here or even the Lloyd Center shop! That location may look like crap, but Muchas Gracias is the bomb! #ThankYouThursday

Laurali H.

Yelp
I had a terrible burrito with nothing in it but chicken. It does come with beans and rice on the side, but I really don't understand why they wouldn't just put it inside the burrito. I paid $50 (including delivery) for 2 of those and a chimichanga, and I will never order it again. Burritos are so hard to screw up, but they managed it.

Alesya G.

Yelp
Had the chicken fajita burritos for the first time. They tasted great! I don't know what people expect this is a fast food place and they do great! The burrito was cheesy and full of flavor.

Kathy D.

Yelp
Customer service is very bad! Mistakes and miscommunication happens, but how you handle it is crucial for the business and the customer's experience. The manager herself is very short with her response and problem solving, she does not have the skills to properly lead a team or business. They will make a mistake and do everything in the book to dodge the customers and the problem itself, rather than simply fixing the order they made wrong. They avoid customer phone calls but expect customers to continuously call. They will close the store 20 minutes early but expect you to solve the problem within 24 hours because it's their policy. People are busy, their lack of understanding, professionalism and work ethic is ridiculous. Please look elsewhere for late night food! Going through this experience is unnecessary, there are other great Mexican restaurants who care about their service and what they do.

Yelp
Earlier today, my Darling Husband and myself walked into Muchas Gracias in the Gateway Shopping Center to get our dinners. We didn't wait very long before we ordered. I ordered the Tuesday Special Meal, and my Husband ordered a Fish Burrito. I spoke to the woman at the Counter in Spanish about how we would know when our orders were ready. She said our order would be called out when it was ready. She replied in Spanish. The Tuesday Special Meal includes a small fountain drink. I chose Diet Pepsi with Lemon flavoring. It was Deeelicious! Our orders were ready in less than fifteen minutes. We were given a little packet of Lime wedges. And my Husband said he wanted some Red Salsa when he was asked about Sauces. The current hours are posted on the front door. There was a man and a woman eating their food inside Muchas Gracias... who weren't wearing face masks. Everyone besides those two diners had a face mask on. We also received in our take out bag a few napkins, and a plastic fork and knife. There were plenty of plastic lids and paper straws beside the fountain drink machine. The Tuesday Special Meal includes an Enchilada, a Tostada, Refried Beans and Seasoned White Rice. We took our dinners home... and then... I ate too much. My Husband also ate too much. We will be back. Today, in total I walked over 3,700 steps.

Stephanie Y.

Yelp
It's 6:12pm, and we decided to eat in the dining area instead of taking our food home... But I guess we will need to pack up the food since they started mopping during their dinner rush so the whole place smells like cleaner now. Someone obviously wants to leave early.

Nyla S.

Yelp
When you have so many good Mexican restaurants in the city it's hard to come to one knowing you'll get amazing at another. But, with that being said this place was convenient for the task at hand. We called in our order: Hi, can we have two carne asada chips.. One With everything (add extra cheese and meat) one with Only cheese and meat, and two steak quesadillas (thank you)! Our food was ready within 10 minutes, it was hot, okay taste and satisfied the craving for the most part. I wish I would of just drove to Javier's though because that's what I wanted! Their steak had a lot of fat in it and I kept picking through my food to remove it because I don't like the texture in my mouth. I suppose in this situation it's To Each His Own because they're better than Don Pedro's but that isn't saying much. Happy Yelping...

Boontham S.

Yelp
Food is pretty decent and I really like the Chimichanga and breakfast burrito. That's why they got a 3 instead of a 1. The reason why they get a 3instead of a 5 is the prices. I just got a sausage breakfast burrito and it cost $9.99! That probably the most expensive breakfast burritos in town. I usually pay $5-6 at most other places. Unfortunately Muchas lost my business and I won't be coming back to until there prices go to a comparable price to other restaurant in town.

Susie M.

Yelp
This is my favorite Mexican food place!! We very often get take out from here. The chicken tacos are my favorite, but the rolled chicken tacos are amazing, too!! My kids get really excited when we are going to get food from here. Great specials every day of the week. And they are offering delivery through both Postmates and Uber Eats (maybe other delivery services, too?) They are still open during all of this virus mess. Got delivery from them on 4/2/20 and it was excellent, as always. It was nice to have something familiar and comforting. And they are offering paper straws!! I love this!

Frances L.

Yelp
It's cleaner then most of the restaurant chain. Same great taste though. This location has the best salsa bar, they have 6 different salsas including a guacamole salsa) maybe it's because it's in a huge shopping center and has way more traffic if I lived closer I'd make this my go to for quick and convenient Mexican Food. Muchas Gracias is the fast food of Mexican Food fast hot convenient and authentic.

Cheryl D.

Yelp
The worst I've ever had, rice dry and cold. They stuffed rice over my red beans. The flour tortillas were so old and rubbery, looked like saturated in oil. I ordered the #10, carnitas combo. The only thing I could eat was the spicy carrots and cilantro, on the side.

Bob L.

Yelp
Thank you for a delicious chicken burrito. It was much bigger than the one I bought at the Tualatin restaurant last week. I'll be back regularly for food. Also the people working here are genuine human beings and very good hearted!

Jando S.

Yelp
I am probably Muchas Gracias' number one fan for its delicious fast food style Mexican food, uber cheap prices, and 24 hour service. Honestly, Portland could use a few more 24 hour joints and it can surely start with the opening of more Muchas Gracias locations. This particular place is hidden behind Carl's Jr and is not easily visible from NE 102nd heading north. Be very careful when turning into the parking late at night, there is a median that most people cannot see at night (Thanks City of Portland) and this can result in some cars getting dinged up big time, especially when no one else is around. I like this location because its spacious and the service is quick. They also have decent bathrooms, which could be useful for the excessive consumption of any of their bean burritos. Minus one star for the lack of a drive through window. I will be here after 2AM, guaranteed with a craving for any style of their tacos and my favorite Carnitas burrito. Combine that with a large, diabetes inducing Horchata drink and I am in Muchas Gracias heaven.

Brayden R.

Yelp
Muchas Gracias is probably my favorite Mexican restaurant in Portland, and the best part is they're located 2 miles from where I live! I've been eating here for about a year now and all I can say is positive things about this restaurant. I mostly order through UberEats when I'm too lazy to drive there. They've never gotten my order wrong which is very impressive considering the majority of fast food restaurants get orders wrong when ordered on delivery apps. I'd recommend the carne asada fries, wet burrito, and for dessert Flan. If you're in the area and craving mexican food then I definitely recommend checking this place out.

William R.

Yelp
See M.G. all over town and just tried. They fail at: - worst salsa ever - ordered a cheese enchilada and on inside it was 1/4th cheese 3/4 onion, they should call it an onion enchilada. - No military discount I won't go to any Mucho Gracias.

Brianna P.

Yelp
Giant hard, wire found in my burrito. Choked on it and extremely disgusted. Do not order through GrubHub! Will never order Muchas Gracias again. I called to get a refund and they did not apologize for having a WIRE in their burrito. So insane. I hope this place shuts down!!! Burrito lovers beware!!

Ken W.

Yelp
I will admit, I go here quite a bit. This restaurant is located very close to where I work, the food is descent, cheap and the service is very quick. If I could, I'd give this place a 2 and a half star rating, but for how much I have found the food enjoyable, they don't deserve a 2 for me. I try to stay away from the Fast Food chains and when I eat at Muchas, I feel that I'm at least eating real food, and somewhat healthy food (at least a REAL serving of proportional proteins, carbs and fats.) Not sure if I'd consider this "authentic Mexican food" but it's definitely a step up from Taco Bell. That being said, I enjoy the food here. Items are either hit or miss. I really enjoy the Oregon burrito which is loaded with fried potatoes, but I did not enjoy the Conga Burrito I had today (steak, beans, rice, enchilada sauce). The fish items are good here as well. Always grab a couple sides of their spicy hot sauce, it's very flavorful. They use cheap quality ingredients, and the beans are sometimes, well....gray. The food is never great, but it is fair and like I said it gets the job done. The customer service here is great and the cashiers are always patient in explaining what the items are to you, though, I don't understand why they don't have explanations up on the menu. If I had more time during my lunch break, I'd definitely eat elsewhere, but this place delivers what I need. Fast, convenient, fits my nutrition goals and tastes descent.

Jessica M.

Yelp
Why is a bean burrito 7 bucks? You go to any other location and their about three dollars. Why is This muchas Gracias higher priced then all the other ones? I won't go back after realizing this. Muchas Gracias is basically like a glorified Taco Bell... I'll go to el Indio down the road it's way better and has cheaper prices...

Kevin B.

Yelp
Portland. Business trip. Restaurants all week. How about fast food while killing time waiting on my flight? Nah. How about Mexican? How about both? This is a little Mexican fast food joint situated in the middle of all the common fast food places. They have true Mexican fare at a reasonable price and more than one person should probably eat for lunch. This place may be the reason why siestas are required after lunch. Anyway, I opted for the daily special - fish tacos on Friday. Two heavy tacos, and a full sized plate of refried beans and rice. Throw in the drink and you're out of there for under $8.00 (no sales taxes in Oregon). The food was surprisingly good for fast food. Topped with salsa from their salsa bar, and it was just as good as a larger sit-down restaurant. The only downfall, and it's not this establishment's fault, is the homeless people. I'm not going to go on a political rant about how bad Portland's homeless problem is, but it's here. The girls working in here did a pretty good job keeping the vagrants out, but it was a pretty epic fight. (Please fix this issue Portland). Very well done. I will be back on my next trip.

Yelp
Every person who walks through the door is a possible customer. I was planning to order food for 2 to go but really had to use the rest room. The employee sweeping the floor lashed out that bathroom was for customers only when I asked for a key. There were 5 people waiting in line to 0rder so me waiting would have led to me peeing in my pants. I mentioned I was going to order to which she told me to wait while she kept sweeping. Your rudeness made me go to Jumba juice next door where not only did I get a key to use the restroom but the employee remembered me from the day before. Sorry MG, I am never to eat at your chain again.

Hayden B.

Yelp
Top notch! The workers are efficient, friendly and polite. And the food is incredible!! I like to watch the fish while I wait for my food-which is out pretty fast for the delicious quality! The carne asada burrito is always the way to go. Tip them well for their awesome work.

Mike Y.

Yelp
As long as Henry Hill could remember he always wanted to be a gangster. As long as I can remember I always wanted to eat at Muchas Gracias. Muchas Gracias is like coming home no matter where you are in the northwest. If you find yourself contemplating the life decisions that lead you to staying at a Red Lion out by the airport, there is a muchas gracias nearby to help smooth over your life questioning dilemma. You find yourself at 19 hammered and longing for a quesadilla kids at the Carson dorms in Eugene, Muchas has you covered. Meeting a stranger off tinder in Vancouver? Muchas has you covered. The hours are as long as 2019 is the most absurd year in the history of the world. And the food is delicious as the proud boys are intolerant and racist. Muchas Gracias is an institution for the people, providing amazing food in large quantities at a fair and balanced price like Fox News. My most recent visit with my girlfriend at this muchas was tremendous. The young lady at the front counter was extremely patient with our requests and made this visit a distinct pleasure. 5 rolled tacos, an oregon burrito and a bean and cheese burrito later we were ready to curl up on the couch and watch 90 day fiance until the wheels fell off. 10/10 would return.

Jonalen K.

Yelp
First time and probably the last. Friendly service. Quality of food is under par. My husband had the shrimp burrito while I had the Chile Verde and a flan. My Chile Verde was just ok. Not bad but not great. The ground pork was different from the tender pork chunks I'm used to having when I order this dish from other joints. The flan tasted artificial. I wouldn't recommend it. There's lots of better options for Mexican food nearby.

Matt S.

Yelp
This is our weekend go-to for breakfast burritos so I would LOVE to be able to give it 5 stars. The Chorizo and bacon burrito is by far the best tasting breakfast burrito around and the spicy guacamole sauce is perfect However, the last few times I found egg shells in my burrito. Like 3 or 4 times. So. Gross. Nothing ruins my appetite faster than crunching into an eggshell. I loved it enough in the past to overlook it (I mean, at least they use real eggs, right?) But I can't deal any more. Muchas Gracias, *please* get a plan in place to have shell free burritos. Like some more lights in the kitchen or something. Until then, I'm sadly going to have to say this place is no bueno

Artemis M.

Yelp
Usually I'm a fan of their food however at this particular location their biggest deterrent is the woman that they always have working the front counter. I realize that this is a Mexican restaurant however it would be nice if they had somebody who spoke English fluently enough to be able to handle taking an order. The fact that she has ZERO customer service mannerisms is also very disconcerting. I placed my order to go at 8:30 over the phone. I was told it would be a 15 minute wait. I arrived 20 minutes later. There were several people in front of me waiting for their orders including people there to pick up for grub hub. I realize they were a little busy but instead of being able to control the flow of people coming in or at least acknowlege their presence she would instead carry a sour look on her face and rudely blurt out towards people when their orders came up.I had to step up and ask if she finally had my order ready as it had been 30 minutes pass the time I placed my order(as she hadn't even given me a sign of acknowledgement) Without even looking at me she told me" yeah I hear you" and then looked at the gentleman next to me and asked what his name was on his order. I then spoke up again and asked if she had even started my order yet and she just gave me a blank stare. I'm not sure if it was because she couldn't understand me or because she just had no desire to use customer service skills. This is the same gal I have dealt with the last several times I've come here. For me this was the last straw. Each time she is completely rude and lacking the ability to understand my order or just questions in general. The person working the front of your establishment is the First representation of your Resturant. When she is always sour and rude it is the biggest deterrent! I told her to just cancel my order at that point as I couldnt wait any longer. It was then I saw that her lips did indeed work as she mustered an unusually smile and said "ok thank u" Never returning! Customer service can make or break an experience.Your cheap eats pull people towards you and her sour attitide will ruin anyone's appetite.

Yelp
Would give NO stars if I could. Came here only because of coupon on back of Safeway receipt. It said combo with drink $5.99. Well how misleading when that is the everyday regular price for their combo of the day. This bait and disappointment will ensure I never spend my money at this restaurant! Shame on them for making it look like the coupon would save even a fraction of a dollar.

Yelp
The food here is always reliable, same quality every time you go in. This isn't amazing mexican cuisine, but it's some good, greasy mexican food. Better quality than don pedro or places like that. The prices are great for the amount of food you get, and the staff is always very nice!

Yelp
This is the only Muchas Gracias location I'd probably want to eat in. It's located in a failed Rubio's, which is a shame because Rubio's is an excellent Mexican chain from California. It appears the franchisee just wasn't able to make it at Gateway. This location of Muchas Gracias has a TV tuned to Univision so you'll never miss your telenovelas or "Sabado Gigante" but that's the major atmospheric touch. The location does seem to care a bit about upkeep as the restrooms are clean and as free from vandalism as one might expect at Gateway and the fish tank appears clean and cared for. The salsa bar area also is kept clean and well stocked. Now, on to the food. The carne asada chips (or nachos as you know them and the order taker barks back to the "cocina") are well put together but could use a bit more pico de gallo. Adding a bit more salsa verde is a nice enhancement. On the last visit, I also tried their vegetarian burrito on a whole wheat tortilla with whole pinto beans and it wasn't too shabby. I'd consider eating it again. I've never been (or felt) ill after eating here. Also, it would appear that this location is popular with "gringos" and Hispanic Americans alike. This location has no drive through, you must walk up to the counter to order. There are also outdoor tables that seat 2-3 people.

Yelp
Ordered delivery for this place several times, different foods each time, and it's always super delicious and arrives very well-packed and fresh! The pico de gallo is always really fresh and tasty, the salsas are all super delicious and every order comes with 3 kinds of salsas to choose from! I get a churro every order nowadays and they're SOOOOOOO good. I was nervous about ordering churros from delivery but they always arrive fresh, hot, and crunchy, never soggy! The fish tacos are really incredible too, a favorite. I've never had a bad experience with this place through delivery, the order is always fast and fresh and delicious. Highly recommend if you're looking for Mexican in the area.

Yelp
I would like to give a big Muchos Gracias to Muchos Gracias. I'm a Cali girl and the enchilada I got were perfect and super saucy. Where's the beef? In these delicious enchiladas! They were super stuffed and the green sauce topped it all off. Be sure to order a side of beans, they were so good I was stealing them off my partners plate.
