Mucho Loco Brunch Mexican Cantina

We decided to try a newer breakfast spot and we're completely glad we did. It's nestled in the southwest corner of the Arroyo Crossing shopping area. Something to note, their main door is towards the west side of the building. They also have a very cool speakeasy entrance. 🥰 We were seated promptly on arrival and what a beautiful place. They even have little bag hangers next to your table. Their service here is absolutely great and our server, Johanna made sure to give us great recommendations. More importantly, they wear very comfortable looking pajamas. Our drinks were very refreshing and the food, simply delicious. We can't wait to come back!

From customer service, atmosphere, and food this place is a 10/10. Highly recommend this place for brunch. It is also a kid friendly restaurant. Our server Joanna was top notch! I highly recommend her as your server.

Eating here was like being in the twilight zone. The decor of Mucho Loco is prettier than Los Cucos, yet it somehow felt devoid of any personality. The food was very depressing. They managed to make food not taste like food. Immediately you can tell the quality is quite low which was very disappointing, especially considering the overly priced menu. I took one bite of the sorry excuse of a birria taco and couldn't even finish it, at that point I was eating just to eat. Nothing tasted like anything, I'm not sure how they managed to pull that off, but congratulations I guess? You put lipstick on a pig. Lastly, all of our drinking glasses smelled like dirty dish water. When we brought this up to staff they just said "oh okay." Didn't even do anything about it, so we couldn't even drink any water our entire meal. I will not be going back. This is the type of establishment people go to take lots of photos for social media but not actually enjoy anything.

Amazing experience! Food was incredible! Fine meat cut. Service with Gio was amazing very kind and his recommendations were great ! And all staff was really friendly as well. Highly recommended!

The new Mucho Loco Mexican Cantina ( where Los Cucos used to be ) has opened on Arroyo Crossing and they are not just a brunch place ( they are open for the dinner too) . It is true authentic Mexican Cantina from start to finish. Upon entering you will experience a speakeasy/ slanted door that takes into a beautiful Mexican Cantina. We were greeted with lovely smiles as soon as we walked up to the secret entrance and it didn't stop there. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Service was top notch, our server Giro was great . Our favorite thing about this place is the presentation of all the food and drinks was very thoughtful and beautiful. Someone put a lot of thoughts into every little detail of this place and it shows. Not just in the presentation of the meals, but the entire restaurant scene itself ,is so unique and gorgeous. Love the atmosphere and decor. The food truly represents authentic Mexican cuisine of a high quality. The fajitas were so juicy and flavorful with sizzling meat. The tortillas were home made and really good. You can taste the difference in the taste and flavor. We have also tried their enchiladas which are very tasty, freshly made and overall quite filling although portions are not too big. But still I have barely finished them. We have ordered their delicious Camotes - A MUST TRY! The best dessert that we have ever tasted in Mexican restaurants. Overall: Everything was very well done and definitely a spot to check out if you haven't already. They have a full bar and great selection of cocktails! We absolutely love it ! Delicious food, amazing staff and service! This is definitely One of my favorite restaurants in the city, it's a must try if you love Mexican food! The most traditional mexican restaurant that we have found.

This review is for their new Brunch only location on Arroyo Crossing. This place is Noiiiiiiiice! The ambiance is just as beautiful as their main location and has the same upbeat vibe. We were greeted with lovely smiles as soon as we walked up to the secret entrance and it didn't stop there. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Service was top notch, our server Arleth was lovely. They had an amazing promo going on where if you post a Pic on your stories and tag them, you get a free Paloma! My favorite thing about this place is the presentation of all the food and drinks. Someone put alot if thought into every little detail of this place and it shows. Service was excellent with our water cups never running low and dirty dishes created away almost immediately. They have friendly service staff everywhere, ready to help with anything you need. David stopped by to check on us and tell us about their new location and made us feel so welcomed. I can't wait to bring the rest of the girls here for another brunch, it's my new fave spot! It's family friendly and party friendly, perfect for brunch, bridal showers and birthday parties! I love that they only serve brunch all day, who doesn't love breakfast for dinner?! Highly recommend, you'll be glad you came.

I came to the restaurant when it was Los Cucos and now as Mucho Loco. Maybe people miss the former but I think that doesn’t take away from Mucho Loco at all. I love the creativity and variety of the menu and I found everything to taste great, with a great mix of flavors and a great ambiance. There’s even a room for kids to be entertained while adults enjoy their food, and clearly they love it because I saw kids that didn’t want to leave and were begging to stay lol. I enjoyed the drinks, food, and atmosphere. We seated in the patio and truly enjoyed our time there as well as the food and service. And the entrance door? We loved it, very creative, as well as the pajamas going with the breakfast/brunch theme. We usually visit the other location at Charleston and Fort Apache since it’s closer to us but this one didn’t disappoint. We look forward to being back!

The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our meal. They were more than happy to explain the menu and make excellent recommendations, which enhanced our overall experience.
