One of my favorite lunch meal is tacos. Driving down to Palm Beach Blvd off I-75, looking for Taco Bell, I noticed to my right, there is Mucho Taco.
This is a small place inside a strip mall and next door to Subway! It has four booths and 10 counter stools for total seating of 26 customers only. Arriving little after 12:10 PM, it is busy preparing take-out and a line is forming in front of order counter. There is a lot of families. Definitely an excellent sign!
Obviously, Spanish is preferred and they do understand English! One look at the wall, there was a sign on the wall "Favor de no tirar Los "Platos" Y "Cubiertos" a la basura. Gracias" My Spanish translator say, "Please don't throw away the plate and flatware. Thanks."
As I look at other customers, they were enjoying Chile Relleno, Quesadilla, Flautas, Chimichangas and Enchiladas. Instead of Tacos, I ordered the camerones Borracho or drunken shrimp. It came with refried bean, rice, salad and Guacamole. Other than the salad is just lettuce and tomato is on the small side, the food is fresh and Shrimp is cooked to perfection! The tortilla were steaming hot! It was a good decision not to have Taco! Naturally, a Modelo is a must to finish your meal!
I came not for the ambiance but for the food. Very happy with my decision!
As I was leaving, I noticed two customers have big bowls of soup with camerones, mussels, and other seafood. I slow down my paces and didn't want to leave!
