A Delightful Lunch Date at Muck & Fuss! From the moment my husband and I walked in, we felt genuinely welcomed. Each staff member greeted us warmly at the entrance, and we were promptly seatet. A great first impression. Our server was knowledgeable and confident, recommending some of the most popular menu highlights; and she did not disappoint. She suggested the Jalapeño Fritters, which were uniquely flavorful and delightful. I also had two Orangytangs (yes, two! Because they were that good!), made with that nostalgic Tang juice we all grew up with. For our main course, we ordered the Spicy Lucy Juicy and the blackened Fish Tacos. The burger was juicy and delicious, with a hint of heat; the jalapeño flavor came through in the cheese sauce, though it wasn’t as fiery as I’d hoped. The Fish Tacos were succulent and full of flavor. The upgraded rosemary fries served alongside were crispy, perfectly seasoned, and a lovely twist on standard fries. For dessert, we treated ourselves to the Reese’s cheesecake, which arrived beautifully plated. It struck a perfect balance of rich, but not overly sweet. Everything was so good that we didn’t need to bring any home (a rare feat in our household). One thing that really impressed me was the diversity and creativity of their menu. They offer so many unique options that I’m already looking forward to coming back and exploring more. A few extra touches made the experience exceptional: - The restaurant is dog friendly on the patio, complete with a small dog menu (how cute!). - Their cocktails and beer selection is very impressive, and I’m already dreaming about trying one of their boozy shakes next time. - We were checked on multiple times: throughout the meal, warm smiles and genuine care made us feel like valued guests. As for the interior: the space is beautifully designed with a modern/rustic vibe. A majestic buffalo head hangs over the entrance. Large windows flood the dining area with natural light, and the decor blends industrial touches and cozy elements to create a welcoming ambiance. All in all, our lunch date at Muck & Fuss exceeded expectations. If you’re in the area and haven’t tried it yet, GO! My husband and I stopped here on our way home from a weekend in the Fredericksburg and San Antonio area, and wow—this little burger spot was exactly what we needed after a long day of traveling and cave-touring. Both burgers were incredibly juicy and full of flavor. One came stacked with melted cheese, tangy pickles, and crisp red onions—the kind of bite where the juices hit the bun just right. The other was smothered in caramelized onions and oozy melted cheese, so savory and rich that every bite felt like comfort food at its finest. The sides didn’t disappoint either. The Caesar salad was fresh with crunchy croutons, and the fries were hot, crisp, and perfectly seasoned. Such a fun, relaxed place with great burger options and a solid beer selection if you’re in the mood. Honestly, it was one of those unexpected stops that totally hits the spot and makes the drive home even better. We’d definitely stop again! 🍔✨

Do yourself a favor… eat at Muck & Fuss. I had the Street Cred burger with Truffle fries (I was only able to eat about 4 bites before I was stuffed) and My husband had the Scapegoat. We also shared the Fried Green Tomatos and the Jalapeno Cheese Fritters (because we couldn’t decide). Everything we had was delicious, including the drink flight! As if the great food wasn’t enough, Shelby, our server, was excellent! My husband and I had already discussed the menu and shortly after she gave recommendations. Funny enough, her recommendations were exactly the items we were looking at. Thank you Shelby. We will be back to visit, hopefully sooner than later.

We came to Muck & Fuss on a Sunday night as a meeting point with family between San Antonio and San Marcos. We were seated right away, and the staff were very friendly. The restaurant seems very busy on weekends, so we did need to flag down our server for water and orders, but she was otherwise attentive, and she was gracious in letting us stay until closing to catch up with family. There is ample indoor and outdoor seating, and the space is very family- and pet-friendly. We each ordered a burger, I got their classic cheeseburger with Asian slaw, and we all split the truffle fries. Everything was so flavorful and satisfying. My cousins enjoyed the cocktail flight as well. Such a gem in this neighborhood, and we're so glad we found it.

We have been trying for years to get into Muck and Fuss when we are on vacation, but the place is so good there is always a line out the door. 1st sign of an amazing place. We finally made it in and let me tell you, it was so worth the wait. Our server, Ashley, was absolutely fantastic on recommendations for both beers on tap, too many to choose from, to the best things to eat. All I can say is we walked away full and already talking about the next time we are down in NB to hit them up again. Great place!!!

Zara was our server and made our experience exceptional! She was attentive, friendly and professional. We even had the owner/manager come and great us, she was very friendly and appreciative. We had the wedge salad and Japanese shrimp tacos, both were amazing! Highly recommend trying this place if your in New Braunfels.

Absolutely 💯 a must HAVE if you are in the area. It is my husband's birthday and we came to have lunch with friends. Service was amazing 👏 Clean and spunky vibe. Muck & Fuss definitely lived up to the hype. The service was damn near perfect, and genuinely welcoming. It was cold and really windy out, but they had heaters nearby which was a total game changer and allowed us to really enjoy our lunch on the patio. I tried the Orangutan drink, and wow... it was like an adult version of my childhood. Perfectly balanced, nostalgic, and fun. The Piggy Taco was a little on the greasy, heavier side, but still flavorful and satisfying. The real standout for me was the Road Crossing Taco--way better texture and just downright delicious. Overall, Muck & Fuss is a must-try. I'll definitely be back!

Burgers are pretty solid but very messy and a bit overwhelming. The fries are solid but a pinch salty. The shrimp Japanese tacos were just okay. Nothing special that would draw me back to them. A lot of slaw compared to the shrimp ratio. Service was pretty solid as well. We sat outside which was fun and had a cool vibe. However I started to get bit by mosquitoes which has not happened all summer which I think is due to the rocks near our table that accumulated water from the rain.

Nice outdoor patio with lots of shade. Not loud outside which was nice. Our server, Abbey, was very attentive and professional. I had the American burger with pepper jack subbed for the usual cheese and a side of their Asian Slaw. I ordered the burger medium well. The wait was not too long and the food was nicely presented - real dishes and the burger stack slightly tilted so you could see each layer. Everything was great except my burger was unevenly cooked. 1/2 of it was between medium well and medium and the rest was medium at best.. very pink. I didn't realize this until 1/2 way through it so I didn't complain but was a little disappointing. The flavors were great and the quality of the meat and toppings was excellent. The Asian slaw was very nice.. not too sweet. My friend had the Cubano also medium well and his was cooked perfectly. He had the red onion rings which looked amazing - and he said they were. So overall, a great place.. I plan to return, but I'll check my next burger when served to make sure it's cooked as ordered.

If you love burgers then this place is a burger heaven. We ordered several different burgers for lunch and each of the burger was very yummy. The quality of meat and toppings were giving it great flavor. I loved their coleslaw side. They have inside and patio seating and we sat outside. Their ice cream machine was broken so we couldn't try the shakes. But I am already planning another trip there so hopefully will get to try it then.

I went here for the first time today with my 1yr old puppy and it was a great experience! We sat outside and my server brought my dog a water bowl and a dog treat, which he loved of course (: I got the havarti jam burger and WOW I think it's the best burger I've ever had!! I got truffle fries with it and they had a delicious aioli on top it was soooo good! Also had a white peach sangria which was perfect as well. Definitely going again, my husband was jealous

First time at this restaurant, it was recommended by a coworker. The menu has many options on what reads as very yummy burgers, appetizers and shakes. I opted for the steakhouse burger with premium upgrade side of onion rings. The burger came out with the wrong side - fries and that was okay as the server said they were going to bring the onion rings out right away. The burger was okay, I didn't appreciate the steakhouse sauce as it was on the sour - bland side and a bit runny. I counted a bit of mushrooms and not much of a steakhouse taste. The patty was thick and bland not much flavor. The bun was big, and cold. My onion rings were delicious with a side of ranch and fresh jalapeños. Overall nice place, but I will be ordering a different burger next time.

This place was highly recommended based on their reviews. Wait on a Saturday evening at 7:30 was about an hour for a party of 7. Staff are very friendly, and the atmosphere of the patio was lively. We order various burgers, fries, and shakes. Shakes were a great hit and much needed after a warm day on the river. Burgers were well cooked and tasty. Unfortunately their "specialty" fries were a complete miss -- the cheese on the fries were pretty cold and not melted enough. Oh wow! What a fun and relaxing environment just after the river, Schlitterbahn or Landa Park. We did sit on the patio...it was warm, but had a nice breeze! The umbrellas didnt cover all of me and I asked nicely to see if we could move one so it would cover me (I sunburn really easy) and Elise our server, moved it to make sure I was comfortable. She was fantastic, very sweet, bubbly and gave excellent recommendations when we were trying to figure out the app we wanted. It was a pretty busy day so Elise was extra amazing to let us know the kitchen was moving a bit slow (before we ordered). We were not in a rush. So we sat back and enjoyed our time chatting on the patio. We got the Freedom Rings and the bleu cheese was so yummy and creamy!! The sauce had just enough kick for me to feel it...not too spicy for this Irish girl's taste buds..think super wimp! I had the Frenchman burger medium. It was cooked to perfection. Not a huge fan of mustard, but the mustard aoli was not too mustardy. Eat it...messy, but worth tje dirty hands! My hubby had the Steakhouse burger and loaded fries. The burger was juicy, very flavorful grilled onions, mushrooms and a BBQ sauce that was tangy and sweet but not too sweet. The loaded fries was just like a baked potato, but fried...yummy! For either of these burgers you need extra napkins messy, but worth it!

Light and airy patio with lots of fans - and can accommodate larger groups (we had 12 people! Eek!). Our server (Zara) was amazing and checked back on us regularly, got our food and drinks promptly, kept all three tickets separate (even tho we were all jumbled up - sorry Zara). I had the road crossing tacos with a side of coleslaw and it was so yummy. My son practically inhaled his buffalo chicken sandwich... 10/10 Great selection of cocktails too! We will definitely be back when we are next in town

This spot is the perfect place to grab some food and drinks after a day on the river! (It's only a couple minutes from Texas Tubes!) We got sat promptly, and our waitress was super sweet and friendly. Happy hour was going on, so we got some loaded fries as an appetizer, and I ordered a Diablo burger for my main. The loaded fries were good and easily can be shared amongst 4 people. The burger was also quite delicious, but not worthy of the $17.95 price tag. There were also a lot of flies landing on our table/food that we had to swat away (even with the fan running indoors). Overall, a solid place to go to after some river fun or if you're in the area.

Loved the Cubano burger, I ordered it with lettuce instead of a bun and onion rings! Delicious! The portions are generous, and the flavors are delightful. Erin, our amazing server, had such a great attitude... she was knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating, patient and professional. She is a gem! All of the staff were pleasant and that made for a great experience. I will be back... and I wanted to make sure to give this place kudos!

They have an extensive menu and an impressive selection of brews. They are also the only verified venue for Untapped between San Marcos and San Antonio. Plan ahead since there can be a wait, but the offerings makes it well worth it. While our server was friendly, they were a bit absent minded. We were asked 2 or 3 times if we were ready within only a few minutes of sitting down and asking for a minute to peruse the menus. But then went to the other side of the spectrum and left us without sauces and refills for the remainder of our time. However, the fare and the libations were enough to make us want to come back.

Hi! I really like this little spot, very welcoming, lots of different things on the menu, I tried the drinks, Not really a fan of the sangria but the others were amazing! Started off with the onion rings, then the jalopeno balls then the tacos, everything was fresh and good, the service was fast and everyone was friendly, I would definitely return!

The fried green tomatoes are a must-try if you're a fan, they're perfectly crispy and served on a bit of pimento cheese, which adds a rich, tangy twist. The onion rings, made with red onions, are outstanding. The batter is light and crispy, and the dipping sauce is the perfect complement. You can't go wrong with one of their burgers. It's hard to host a family of 50 people for a dinner but Muck & Fuss made it happen! Automatically, you're thinking well wow service is going to be slow and bad with so many people, I was thinking the same but nope. They accommodated our big party. Our servers were attentive and thorough. Food was delicious, shrimp tacos are our recommendation along with the margarita, get the margarita!!

Came for the burgers and stayed for the vibe. Very friendly staff. Saige got us seated on the patio right away. I was a little worried about being on the patio in this Texas heat but their multiple fans near each table made the environment bearable. Tried their Diablo Burger and it's not a burger to undermine. Got a hold of their jalapeño seed and I fogged up my glasses. Whoa it's got a kick but tasty. Heat lovers gotta try it. Highly recommend stopping by after a day of floating the river. Great hip atmosphere. Didn't get a chance to share their shakes but I do recommend grabbing their Texas Turtle or Caramel Bourbon (boozy shake) to make your tongue happy after you torched it on the Diablo Burger

We happened to stop by after a long float on the river & immediately LOVED how the patio was dog friendly! There was a little bit of a wait but it was worth the wait! Our server John was amazing! He informed us of the dog menu and immediately provided water for the table (and our furry friend) moments after we were sat. Appetizers: crab cakes and fried green tomatoes Main: Street cred burger sub impossible patty, Scapegoat burger, and Steak house burger Dog menu: Chicken breast Drinks: Strawberry Hibiscus Cider, Prickly Pear Lemonade & Frozen Margarita We were celebrating a birthday and our server brought us 2 shakes to go to celebrate! Overall loved the vibes, the food, the service and the live music! Definitely will come again. Highly recommend this place if you are in town!

4 of us went on a Friday night at 7p had a 45 minute wait but you could go to the bar and get drinks while you wait. The burgers were perfect! Super fun flavors and our table liked everything we got. Sweet potato fries were good but I liked the original fries better. We sat inside and it was cute. There is an indoor bar and two outdoor bars.

Such a cute place. Visited from California and I must say this place was a hit. The food portions were huge and tasty. The drinks were refreshing and delicious. Definitely will come back on my next visit to Texas!!

This is a reliable supply for a good burger and fries. I'm always greeted and have attentive service. I saw they have a happy hour, so I would love to go back to try that as well. There is a nice amount of seating as well with indoor and an outdoor area, the right spot for a pretty day!

Cute name, cute place, fun decor, delicious food, fab service...seriously what more could you want. You can sit inside or out. There is bar, booth, or table seating. A variety of menu choices, and their burgers...yummy perfection. Make sure to say their name correctly...but come and nosh on!

Great little spot in new Braunfels. The menu has a little bit of everything from burgers to appetizers to good bar selection. Our server was attentive and quick even though her section was full. The restaurant as inside and outdoor. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich with a side salad and it was very tasty. It was also filling I would have liked it a little bit more spicy. Still good, still a burger spot I look forward to eating at once a year after our Schlitterbahn visit for summer! Wait staff is always incredible (shoutout to Maya this most recent trip!). This time around I had the Scapegoat and cajun fries with a peach sangria. All three were great. I do wish there was more of the pepper jelly on the burger, but the meat was flavored and cooked well and it was still so tasty.

Great lunch today! The service was very timely and helpful. We started with queso and chips. The flavor was good but the chips were few. We had to ask for more. The goat cheese and bacon hamburger was awesome-- unique combo of flavors. The bun, however, could not stand up to the juicy hamburger and the sauces. Yet it was very yummy. I upped the side to the truffle fries ... on my ... so good!!! Lemon aoli with truffle and parmesan.

Let me just say my main reason for coming is the Muck's Cow Mule frozen drink. It is so refreshing and the right level of ginger with a yummy ginger candy on top.You can sit inside or outside. The patio area is nice and you have access to the bar from the patio area. All the servers were friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, my husband says his burger was one of the best he ever had. When in New Braunfels give them a try.

This was a great experience! Our service was exceptional. My wife and I had Maya and she took great care of us. She was attentive and gave great recommendations! The store is clean and modern. It's got a great vibe and a really solid selection of beer. The burger menu is extensive, I think there's a burger here for everyone! The food tasted great and came out quick and fresh. It was delicious. It wasn't the best burger of my life but it was definitely up there in terms of local spots. Definitely a must try!

My parents don't like to try new places so I take every chance I can get to take them to a "new to them" restaurant. Muck & Fuss did not disappoint! We came for lunch on a Friday and had to wait for about 20 minutes so I recommend having a reservation. But the staff were very attentive and kind and brought us chairs to sit while we waited. The interior has a stunning, eye-catching ceiling and I absolutely love the lighting over the bar. We sat on the patio and the outdoor bar area looked so fun! We ate the crab cake appetizers and one of the burgers. Everything was excellent!

The food was delicious, but not necessarily worth the price. Everything tasted delicious, and the service was good. However, it was a little loud and very crowded. Seems like tables are kinda crammed in there.

Decided to try this spot for lunch as we were in the area. Firstly, parking. The restaurant has limited onsite parking and parking in the street is hit or miss. We chose to park in the paid lot just down the road. We paid $7 for 90 mins which I thought was good. Now the restaurant. We had a very short wait considering it was noon. The restaurant was packed so it's obviously popular. It has a diner like feel to it, with interesting decor. Once seated our server Fania was quick to arrive and welcome us. My partner ordered the garden salad with grilled shrimp and sweet potato fries. I ordered the Travy burger with Cajun fries. The food was great quality, fresh and hot. Fania was attentive and brought refills for our drinks but didn't hover. The restrooms were clean and modern. Overall I highly recommend this place. We will definitely be back.
