Mud Bay

It's mixed bag depending on the employee that you end up meeting. Today, the employee was unprofessional and kept following me to make sure I wasn't stealing anything. If you don't know your regular customers then that is an issue. This specific employee has always been the least friendliest or approachable. Besides you don't just ask people for their phone number unless you have a rewards program or can outline the benefits to them.

It's so amazing to find a pet store where they actually care about pets here! Marcus is incredibly helpful, knowledgeable & friendly; their manager was also super insightful about a specific concern for my high-maintenance cat who I love with all my heart. This is probably the first pet store I've left a review for because they truly go above & beyond here to ensure your pet is getting the care and products they deserve to live a healthy, longer life.

Beautiful store, clean and well maintained, nicely designed and decorated, great customer service since beginning up to the end of my visit, perfectly categorized products, so many cute things... At the end I told casier it was my first time at this store and he gave me Welcome card, definitely will be back 🤗

Everyone at this store is so kind! Our dog gets so excited when she sees the store. They have so many toys and treats and always add in something free. Our dog got free ice cream on her birthday too! Probably the best pet store around and we love shopping here also the prices are great with an amazing food selection and lots of toys

They are super helpful. Great selection of food. And above all else the prices were so reasonable- I was shocked! They also give out a lot of samples so you can let your pup try the food before you buy a whole bag. Their return policy is amazing and any not eaten returned product gets donated to a shelter. They also have a huge selection of freeze dried treats and durable stuffed animals! My little corgi loved the compact rawhide bone they recommend for him, he's been chewing it for two hours straight!

I’ve been Mudbay customer since 2011 when I got my first puppy. I used to go to their Redmond store and now that I moved go to Kirkland Urban. The same outstanding customer service and product collection. I know I can trust their products for my dog and have a very generous return policy. They are 100% behind their products. I love shopping there.

Our sweet dog Nyjah was out of her pill popper treats and we didn’t notice until dinner time. Although another competitor is closer to our house we decided to head over to Mudbay before closing time. Marcus was in the middle of cleanup, stopped, and focused their attention on helping us. They made great suggestions on options we could try and even gave a treat sample too. I rather go somewhere where I know the employees care about my pup even if it adds a couple mins to the drive time. We have one happy pup who gladly took her meds with the new pill popper treats!

Mud Bay is my dog’s favorite store! They always offer her treats and give her tons of affection as soon as we enter the store. They are very friendly and helpful with answering questions regarding animal products! I don’t mind it being a little pricey because I know it’s good quality stuff! Always leave spending more money than I intended but with a happy dog it’s always worth it!

Love mud bay! We stop by after puppy school sometimes, and the staff is always so helpful and kind. They have a pretty good selection of kibble and toppers!

I love this store but being open from just 10-6pm on weekdays makes it really hard for people with jobs to shop here

Great deals and they have the best random dog accessories! I found a collar with little space dogs that I was so tempted to get but went with a beautiful orange nature one that looks so good on my black pup! I also found a raincoat that I keep seeing at various pet stores starting at $40 and I found it here for $25! What a steal. My coolest purchase was a silicon dog bag holder that ties to a leash. The usefulness of this item is just life changing. Mine was $5 and it has been so worth it on my runs with my dog to hold his poo bag instead of it swinging around in my hand, it'll still swing of course but at least not touching him or me. Our most important purchase was a joint support oil that comes in a pump bottle so it's easy to add to their food. They had quite a good amount of CBD, hemp, joint supplements in various forms like pills, oils, and powders. My other pup is older so we love trying out different joint supporting options to keep her young and happy. This is the first we try of this kind and it was recommended to us by the friendly woman who helped us (they're very nice here). So far Bella and Theo have loved their items and I have seen a big difference in Bella's mobility.

Great place to shop for organic and healthy dog treats. The staffs love dogs and greet out dog with a small treat bag. Their homemade biscuits are only $3.50/lbs mix and match. I would recommend buy their basket and fill it full. Great prices and healthy dog treats!

I have serval Mud Bay locations around me and have visited them all on different occasions. I always get great customer service at this location. The parking is hit or miss with getting a spot right outside the pet store, I wish they had spots dedicated for the pet store at all times right around the front. Easier to deal with dog food/pet supplies. Not a fan of carrying dog food through the elevator and having to deal with the parking garage. They tend to run low on products at times such as rain coats in different sizes, some bones etc. which is to be expected. I still enjoy this store, cleanliness is top priority and customer service is always great, just not a fan of the parking situation at times as to why I take away one star.

Update: I received a call from the Mud Bay district manager, Haile. She was very sweet and explained that my experience isn't the norm and goes against their company values (which I had suspected based on prior interactions at various stores). I received a full refund for the two items I returned and asked that I give them another try. I know this Kirkland location is newer and perhaps they are still working on training their staff. Either way, I was impressed with the quick response and friendliness from Haile. I'm upgrading from one star to three stars as it wasn't a pleasant experience at the store, and was a poor use of my time. My lesson learned is to always take a receipt when offered, regardless of their "phone number look-up" policy. :)

This is the best all-around pet care store I've ever found! The staff are meticulous in helping to find solutions for their clients, from good-sensitive food choices to the best treats - huge selection of homemade dog biscuits. And bedding, raincoats, etc!

Stopped in by accident, in search of a visitor center in the area. What a wonderful shop! The staff was so friendly and helpful and their selection of pet items is fantastic! I especially loved the vast selection of dog treats, cookies and chews they had for dogs.

Love Mud Bay...a local WA pet store with quality pet products. The staff are amazing...helpful and always offering a yummy treat to your pet.
