"I stopped at Mud on 9th Street in the East Village for brekkie with Augie. We were sat in the back patio. It was just us and two NYU kids. We were nursing our coffees and waiting for our food when one of the youths got sick, a mix of last night’s alcohol and a McDonald’s nightcap. It splashed my leg and I clutched my pearls."

"Mudspot is the all-day cafe version of a coffee truck in the East Village, and they do weekday breakfast and weekend brunch. They have a garden in the back and serve things like huevos rancheros and an avocado sandwich with a fried egg and pickled jalapenos. It’s cash only, comfortable, and has a bunch of healthy, vegetarian options." - Hannah Albertine

Google
Party of 6 (with an additional couple of orders to go) that had a late lunch at MUD. While we enjoyed the atmosphere and the server/service, the food was mediocre at best. To encapsulate the food experience: bland. This was a one and done as far as the food, but the drink experience and overall vibe was better.

Google
exceptionally friendly staff, tasty brekkie options that are sizable, yummy and don’t break the bank. americano was damn good. egg tacos — 2 corn tortillas, salsa verde, thick bacon, hash browns and purple slaw .. so delish .. and a lot of food! add the pickled jalapeños — it’s worth it. interior was a little dark for 9am but with a pretty spring morning and outdoor seating — it was a win. first time there, and will def will be back!

Google
Great place! Kinda an overdue review as my original visit was last year and we sat at the bar and got to talk to the owner (about his place and his cool vintage stereo!) and he was so nice and that alone is five stars on its own! Been several times and the food, drinks, and people are always great! There’s quite a bit of seats in back so don’t be discouraged from street view! Aloha!

Google
Stopped by this location twice now honestly I’ve only tried their hot chocolate which is great and the staff is always really cool and friendly never an uncomfortable moment or vibe!!. I have absolutely no complaints!!. I’m gonna be coming here more often!!

Google
This is a great place to have breakfast or brunch. The coffee is delicious, not as tasty as the Ecuadorian coffee, but it is perfect. We got some eggs, salad, multigrain bread, french toast, and an avocado sandwich. The only thing is that we came on Sunday, and the place was very crowded, so the service was slow, but I undestand it was because it was busy.

Google
This spot is fantastic for breakfast or brunch. Their coffee is delicious, perhaps not quite reaching the heights of Ecuadorian coffee, but it's still excellent. We ordered a variety of dishes, including eggs, salad, multigrain bread, French toast, and an avocado sandwich. The only minor drawback was our Sunday visit, as the place was incredibly crowded, which led to slower service. However, it's understandable given how busy they were.

Google
I stopped at this cafe because I'd heard it was one of the best around, and those claims proved to be spot-on. My cappuccino was truly excellent. As I savored my drink, I realized the place was much larger than I'd initially thought, and they serve food too! I'll definitely have to return to try more.

Google
I was really excited to try this place because I live quite close, but I was definitely disappointed. They do food+coffee in 1 order which I really liked, but the food is very minimal effort. I ordered the French breakfast, add avocado, and it comes with home fries. They are definitely not home fries; they were mildly seasoned cubes of potato. The avocado on my sandwich was not sliced, they just threw a quarter of an avocado on the sandwich and called it a day. Even distribution should be considered going forward. Overall, the sandwich tasted good, but nothing I couldn’t do at home. Idk if I will go back. See the photos for reference.

Yelp
Met here for a quick early bite on a Friday evening and got it seated quickly and was well taken care of by the lovely young waitstaff. Food was delicious and we both ordered the 'MUD' coffee with maple syrup which was absolutely delicious almost good enough for dessert! The hearty tomato soup was delicious and I loved the grilled cheese with jalapeño and cheddar cheese and pressed panini style to absolute deliciousness! Love this little spot in East Village and would happily come back here again! Great ambience delicious food and wonderful attentive waitstaff :)

Yelp
Came for brunch on the weekend around 10:30am. Was able to walk in and get a table even though it was pretty busy. The brunch deal was $24 which included any dish plus a beer, champagne, coffee, or OJ. So I'd say it wasn't a bad deal at all. All the food was really mediocre. Nothing was seasoned properly. The French toast was oddly rubbery. It felt like it was made earlier in the morning and then just heated up. The French breakfast was fine but both the potatoes and the croissant sandwich lacked any seasoning and really just fell flat for me. The coffee wasn't awful but it was on the dark side and didn't have much of a flavor to it. The vibe of the place was cool and it definitely gets point for it, and the service was great!

Alan N.

Yelp
I love this brunch place so so much. The French toast is my absolute favorite. The coffee is also very good. I love taking my friends here Came at 11:30am on a Saturday and there was no wait for two people. It was delicious. Friendly staff! Brunch preset. Comes with a beverage of choice (coffee, mimosa, orange juice).

Emily B.

Yelp
Great coffee and a really cute storefront! The pastries were decent too just not super fresh but expected. I've had hit or miss experience with the staff here. Love that they're open late but i've had some experience with the staff being a bit rude and ignoring our very calm table late at night which was weird. Mostly though I've been treated by nice baristas and friendly wait staff! Would definitely recommend this place especially for late night coffee needs!

Nicole J.

Yelp
So after bailing the line at Apollo Bagel, we came here. Pretty chill place. Good vibe. Most breakfast options were $23 and included 2 drinks. Food was good. Banana pancakes were good but I we'd get were served hot. It was barely warm. I didn't want to send it back because I was hungry. My hubby got the breakfast sandwich, it was bland. Coffee was good.

Kayla C.

Yelp
Cute spot with good food. Unique atmosphere to the East village. Had the pancakes which were delicious!

ElBachir C.

Yelp
I came here for the brunch and food wise it went well, I had the samosa with the French breakfast and it was pretty filling and for the price I paid it was worth it. The service was great, as the waiter checked on us regularly and made sure we were on point. Unfortunately, the space outside was super hot, and needed an AC to cool the space down. I see myself going back as their pre-fixed menu for brunch has so many good options, which is a great deal.

Aimee H.

Yelp
Came with my friend for brunch on a saturday and had to wait for a bit outside but wasnt too bad. The ambience in here is pretty nice and we got a nice small table in the back which was cozy. Unfortunately I felt like both the sandwich i got and potatoes were pretty bland and mid. My friend enjoyed her huevos rancheros though so maybe i just ordered the wrong things but not sure I would go back

Kailyn V.

Yelp
This location is so cute & hippy. Love the outdoor eating in the back. Looks like a small little coffee shop from the front which it is. But walk all the way through & you'll get to dine in. I had the omelette that you build. I like that they give you a choice of 2 or 3 egg omelette. I also had the green tea, strong & good. The service was quick & easy.

Isabelle Y.

Yelp
Classic East Village brunch spot, perfect to go with friends. The coffee is also really good and the brunch menu had a lot of options. The only thing is I wish the inside had a little more lighting and space.

Rachel G.

Yelp
MUD is an East Village staple. Always packed inside and a line for coffee. If you arrive before noon on weekends, you can get a table with little to no wait. There are also large tables outside which is a plus if you have a dog. We've been to MUD for brunch a couple times and the food is hit or miss. It seems like they were short staffed the last visit, as our dishes too awhile, were bland and not salted. Can't go wrong with their coffee though!

David A.

Yelp
My second trip to Mud was meh. We ordered the grilled cheese with avocado and bacon and the tomato soup. The soup was really a pasta-free minestrone. More veggie soup than anything. Our sandwich was missing the bacon and really was a tomato and pickled jalapeño sandwich with a slice of cheese. My previous visit to Mud was great. So I may give it a second chance, but with all the choices in NYC, that may take a minute or 7. ‍

Marcos L.

Yelp
First off huge thank you to Zach for helping us get situated and our drinks so quickly and easily! He wasted no time guiding us to any table of our choosing and doing so in a kind and friendly manner! This place clearly takes lots of inspo from Mexican culturally popular breakfast dishes and I really enjoyed their incorporation of that with their own little twist! Very affordable brunch for the East Village which was quite the pleasant surprise Good for lunch breakfast and some mimosas! Cozy seating without making you feel crowded! (Aesthetically pleasing if you're into that lol)

Anthony P.

Yelp
One of the top brunch places in the city - top 10 I'd say. The French breakfast sandwich was so tasty and savory and the croissant was so soft. The French toast was sooo good, probably one of the best French toast of the city - GET THIS! The coffee was fine, maybe even good but not great. I give them credit for keeping the iced cappuccino with a foam cap as that's not always done.

Sanjana D.

Yelp
So so good for coffee. The iced vanilla latte is so good for no reason and the atmosphere in this place is nice. They made my coffee really fast too. Totally recommend!

Nina D.

Yelp
Really great brunch but long waiting times. Our group of 4 decided to come for their brunch special on a Saturday. It was quite a long line since the cafe is pretty small - so be ready to wait 15-30 mins minimum. Once we got seated the interior was very cozy and intimate. We got their brunch special and I ordered the mimosa + mud coffee + huevos rancheros and a plate of pancakes for the table. We were all starving and gobbled up the food very quickly - it was so delicious and they added plenty of toppings on the huevos rancheros. The pancakes were also a table favorite - they were so fluffy and had the perfect amount of sweetness coming from the banana. The syrup was also great quality and not too overpowering with the fruits. The drip coffee was great but I wish they had given us more oat milk for the table.

Janelle J.

Yelp
One of my favorite brunch spots in NYC! I've been going here since college and always make an effort to visit when I'm in the city. Great pricing with a chill homey atmosphere! Included in brunch you'll get a plate, along with drip coffee and the choice between a mimosa, beer, or plain OJ. I love their huevos rancheros, usually my go to but all their plates are really good! Service is always nice and usually on the faster side. Be sure to try to plan if you're going on the weekends as it's first come first serve and the wait can add up but it's worth it!

Taylor W.

Yelp
This place is always a hit whenever I need to go get some brunch with my friends. They've got solid options from a sweet french toast to your classic, savory eggs. I got the sourdough french toast, which was topped with almonds and fruit. It was sooo good. They also have decent coffee here as well so you can get your morning pick-me-up. Although this place may seem small, they have seating options out front as well as a back area. I didn't have to wait long for a table; however, this place can get really busy on the weekends so it's best to come early.

Liz B.

Yelp
I was just moving in my stuff to my new apartment and hmmm my roommate and I came to check out the lunch here! We got in around 12:30ish on a weekend and although it was busy we were able to be seated at the bar within 10 mins. It was cute little restaurant but the bar seating is awkwardly placed and the double bench was not super sturdy. The waitstaff was very nice and running all over the place but we were able to get our orders in and our food out in about 20-30 mins. She really likes the coffee here, but I didn't try. I ordered the Mudmama salad with blackened chicken and she ordered the Burrito! My salad tasted really fresh and the bread was delicious! I'm only taking points off since my avocado came with the little pit indent in it, the chicken was a little dry and not super blackened and the dressing didn't seem like it went with the salad since it tasted more on the acidic side. Otherwise the chickpeas were really good! I probably would see if they had different dressing if I ordered this salad again but not a bad brunch spot!

Beatriz M.

Yelp
If you're in need of a good brunch spot this is the place to go! They offer a brunch pre-fix with just enough options but it was very hard to decide as everything sounded so good! If you're into strong coffee or fresh oj I would highly recommend choosing one or both as your beverage. I ordered the buttermilk banana pancakes; perfectly sweet. The service was so quick and the staff was extremely friendly! Even helped me decide what to order! It's definitely snug inside so that's something to keep in mind if you have a large party or strollers.

Karlee B.

Yelp
No wait early on a Saturday. Ordered the tacos and French toast. Both were so good. The tacos had a bit of a kick to them and the potatoes were cooked perfectly. Loved that the French toast portion wasn't crazy huge and the fruit was fresh. Great service.

Amelia G.

Yelp
Do not be discouraged by a line outside, they move people through quickly. Food and drinks are amazing!! Was in the city for a week and we went to brunch at Mud three times. The maple latte is delicious as well as the breakfast burrito. Cannot go wrong! The back patio was my favorite spot!

Donta W.

Yelp
This a very quaint and vibey breakfast spot that you can walk right past if you aren't careful, but it is the best breakfast I have to date in East Village. I ordered the omelette with bacon and the eggs tasted farm fresh and the bacon was legit thick cut bacon! It came with house fries which are roasted potatoes but real potatoes and not that frozen non-sense. If you want a solid and fresh breakfast then definitely stop by here. Coffee is solid as well especially the maple latte.

L W.

Yelp
After reading the reviews, Hubs and decided to give this place a try. Hubs ordered the chilaquiles, which are nixtamal chips baked with a smoky red sauce, sunny side up egg, sliced avocado, sour cream, lime, cilantro and queso fresco. The chilaquiles only came with one egg, so he ordered a 2nd one for an extra $2. He loved the chilaquiles. I ordered buttermilk banana pancake, which comes with fresh fruit and maple syrup. The fresh fruit were blackberry and strawberries. Note to self, it's pancake not pancakes. I misread the order and was expecting more than one pancake. It was delicious and crispy. The pancake tasted fluffy and not dense. We both ordered coffee and it was pretty good. I ordered milk and sugar, so they steamed the milk for me. When you first walk in, you'll see people lining up to buy coffee. Beyond the counter, there's a dimly lit dining area. If the waiter didn't wave us in, we wouldn't have known. Looks can be deceiving! This place is a hidden gem. Service was friendly and quick. Will definitely return to try other items on the menu!

Olivia Y.

Yelp
This place is really cute and intimate and I'm sure that the food would be good. I think this is a great place for a date! However, they're drinks are so mediocre and taste like watered down milk... how does one even achieve that?

Ellen L.

Yelp
This restaurant doesn't take reservations, but when we came on a weekend we only had to wait about 15 minutes. They have indoor seating and seating at their back patio. Their brunch deal was great. I got the Mudman sandwich, orange juice, and a coffee all for around $25. The sandwich was toasted and had a nice crunch to the outside and was packed with layers of meat, vegetables, and a delicious garlic aioli. The orange juice was so refreshing and the coffee was good! My favorite were the potatoes. I would literally come back here just to eat the potatoes again. They were so well seasoned, not too salty, and soft with each bite. The potatoes are part of the reason why I'm giving this 5 stars, Service was great, our server was so nice and gave good recommendations on the menu.

Connie X.

Yelp
MUD is allegedly Timothee Chalamet's favorite coffee spot, but alas, the day I went with my boyfriend and a good friend from college was not the opportunity to meet my all-time favorite celebrity. Next time, I guess... One thing I loved about MUD was that the place also had a natural lit seating area at the very back - perfect for a more intimate and quieter breakfast/brunch setting. Very rarely do I struggle to pick which dish to order, but given how delicious everything on the menu sounded, I was really fighting between a sandwich, pancakes, or **sourdough** French toast. In the end, though, I had an almond milk cappuccino with a 2-egg scramble. Everything tasted great! The sausage and caramelized onions I chose as toppings to my scramble gave the eggs a nice touch of sweetness. The almond milk also blew me away! I love my cappuccinos with a lot of foam, and the barista who prepared my drink made my cap incredibly well. Would definitely come back to MUD the next time I'm back in NYC. It's very reminiscent of Fog City Cafe, one of my favorite cafes closer to my home in Daly City, CA.

Stephanie N.

Yelp
Had heard of this place for being famous but never actually went. It's a great brunch place- you get a dish and two drinks for $23. This place has been here a longgggg time and survived all the ups and downs of NYC economy. Great service and amazing vibe food was excellent. I ordered the BAT sandwich with greens.

Asia C.

Yelp
A little more crowded this time but the food and service were still just as good as the last! The staff were all super friendly and accommodative, our food came out relatively quickly and I think for brunch in Manhattan its not bad price wise. Ordered: B.A.T 5/5 I enjoyed this one way more than the meal I had last time. It was well made with really nice flavors and the home fries were a nice added touch to have on the side.

Chris K.

Yelp
I HIGHLY recommend MUD for brunch -- the French toast, coated with almonds, was delicious! I also really enjoyed the French Breakfast -- scrambled eggs with meat served on a croissant. The mint lemonade is NOT worth getting (it's just lemonade with a twig of mint). I thought the coffee was disappointing but not horrible. Overall recommend for the food and will we back. We waited 15 mins for a table for 2 on a holiday.

Tali G.

Yelp
Nice place with good music and good vibe for breakfast coffee time to catch up with friends or if you feel like drink alone and read a book

Akiko I.

Yelp
Great brunch in the East Village. We went in August and got seated immediately tho the food was a bit of a wait as can sometimes be expected during a pandemic. Didn't order the brunch special, just the food from it (see the photos), the portions hit the spot, and the waitress was extremely nice. Went a second time recently for a to-go drink (grapefruit mimosa). An ordeal to get it: I told the host that I wanted to be outside as I brought a dog; when she finally put 2 and 2 together, she allowed me to sit at one of their outdoor booths only to tell me when she got to me there was no service just for drinks (it's not up to her but there were zero people sitting outside). So when went inside to order, I was standing behind two women getting coffee orders who actually arrived after me. The guy serving was really nice so that made a difference. But there were people coming in wondering where the host was. I think another BIPOC reviewer also pointed out the lack of system by the front door. The bathroom IS the size of a closet: When I "went" in August I wondered whether the party on the other side of the stained glass could hear me "go."

Ankita N.

Yelp
I know this city has tons of great brunch spots but MUD will not disappoint! I mean when you get to choose a brunch entree, a beer or mimosa and a drip coffee for 24 bucks, you know it's a bang for the buck. We recommend getting the: 1. Huevos Rancheros 2. Organic eggs cooked as omelette, scrambled or fried with a choice of 2 toppings, toast and mixed greens, home fries or rice & beans. I am coming back!

Christopher G.

Yelp
I ate breakfast at MUD and found it a decent breakfast place. The coffee was the highlight - a good drip coffee which is harder to come by then you think. The place was really cute and the breakfast sandwich was tasty (if a little over priced but heck it's NYC) I'm not sure if I'd go out of my way to eat at MUD but it was a solid option in the are

Isabelle W.

Yelp
Tl;dr Brunch $23 is overpriced for the pretty average food, clearly not fresh (as advertised) orange juice, disorganized seating, and half decent mimosas. Getting seated was a whole fiasco. We got on the line, and the host kept telling people to just stand to the side of the entrance with no real order or line. Then other waiters/waitresses would tell us to move to the other side of the restaurant front, and another said otherwise. It was pretty confusing, and they definitely need to figure out a system. None of the food was by any means spectacular, and certainly not $23 for an entree and drink spectacular. The portions were decent, and the sauce on the egg tacos are pretty good. However, the orange juice is advertised as fresh, but tastes exactly like Minute Maid. The waitress was extremely nice, and since none of us wanted the cup of coffee involved in the deal, she offered each of us a refill on our OJ/mimosas. Honestly would not go back for the price and the very average food.

Bonnie T.

Yelp
super chill coffee/brunch/brews catchup spot. all the staff here are super personable, friendly, and warm. they make you feel at home! i personally love the dirty chai with oatmilk. not bitter because of the espresso at all, tastes super smooth and satisfying. boyfriend loves the iced oat maple latte here. we've been twice in one week after discovering MUD because it's just that spot. can be a small line every now and then but your coffee comes out quick after order, so not a big deal. super cozy inside, got the holiday vibe. haven't tried the food but it looks good!

Nic V.

Yelp
Amazing food, coffee and music. Sit down service was on the slow side... but they looked to have been training some new employees.

Christina S.

Yelp
Wow yummy. Came per Timothee Chalamet's recommendation and it did not disappoint. My friend and I came for brunch and both ordered the brunch deal. You get one menu item, either a mimosa or beer, plus a coffee for only $23. What a steal. The portions are pretty large too and let me tell you- I have never had a better drip coffee with oat milk. It almost tasted like a latte. Overall, we loved our food, the drinks, and the atmosphere. It's a cozy little spot in east village next to tons of trendy shops. There's also something on the menu for everyone ranging from French toast to quesadillas to salad. The Mud Room also has a large amount of outdoor seating in their back patio and out front. I'm docking 1 star because while the waitstaff was friendly, they weren't very attentive. With that being said, I'm definitely coming back.

Christina D.

Yelp
Came here for a quick afternoon pick me up and was not disappointed! I ordered the chai tea latte with oat milk and it was soooooo good! It was so rich and flavorful! I felt like it tasted more like a snickerdoodle cookie than a traditional chai tea latte, but I honestly loved that about it! Only negative is that their menu only lists one price (for the larger size) but they have both a large and small size cups. Had I realized it, I probably would have gone with a small because the large was a lot of volume for what I wanted but at least it was delicious. Can't wait to come back for more!

Midori G.

Yelp
What stands out the most about Mud is the atmosphere. It is very comfortable and charming. We sat in the back and it made me feel like I almost wasn't in NYC (in a good way). The service was fast and friendly. What I ordered: I got the avocado sandwich w home fries. It was filling and tasty. My partner ordered the burrito and it was good, but not as good as the sandwich. A great place for breakfast/brunch!

Ava B.

Yelp
Checked back into MUD to see if it was still as amazing as I remember. It is. Portions are big and worth the price. The ambiance is perfect. My previous five-star review still stands. MUD coffee is everything. It makes me wake up in the morning. It makes me want to be a better person. It makes me do leaps of joy in the streets of NYC.

Estupinan, S.

Yelp
Service can be a little iffy here and there but that's really as far as this places weaknesses go. The food is honestly a great price and tastes amazing. Incredible ambience I really love the energy of this place. PLEASE try the maple coffee it's a must have. Great spot to get some work done or catch up with a friend. I definitely recommend.

Janet L.

Yelp
The wait wasn't too bad but not sure cause part of the party came earlier. The service was attentive but they left to yourself after they brought orders. My only complaint is place was very hot and small. We sat very close to bathroom and they put our seat next to each other which is an awkward setup. Also there was a leak right over our desk which directly drop into us or our food. We got the huevos rancheros and the love salad. The salad was more of a bowl but thre was almost too much going on with it. Ended up being like a mush but initial presentation was nice. Food was okay but nothing amazing. They had a brunch combo which ncluded two drinks and a dish for 23.95

Wendy H.

Yelp
I'm glad I came here once, but I don't feel the need to ever come again. Their coffee IS very tasty (taken black, no sugar), and I thoroughly enjoyed its rich flavor. It was a nice medium roast, with earthy notes and very low acidity. My friend had a B.A.T. sandwich and found the aioli very tasty. They forgot the egg she requested, but that was fine in the end. My everything bagel and cream cheese was not that fresh. They toasted it, which, in my opinion, you never need to do for fresh bagels. It lacked the warmth, fragrance, and springiness of a fresh New York bagel. The cream cheese was fine and cut into a cute triangle, but not anything out of the ordinary. Overall, really good food and coffee for the price, especially in this neighborhood: $6 for a bagel and coffee (NY breakfast), $3.50 for a standalone large mug of delicious coffee, and $14 for a sandwich platter with home fries. The downside is mostly the ambiance, which is the typical stressful, crowded, always-a-line for the bathroom, pressure to get out of the way, and a cacophony of plates and silverware constantly drowning out conversation type ambiance typical of overly popular places. I got yelled at by a disgruntled busser for no good reason, which really threw me off. I probably would've loved this spot if I were a college student. Now that I'm older, I'd rather pay a bit more for a cleaner and quieter environment where I don't have to yell to be heard. Amazing coffee or not! If you do want to venture here, here are some tips for a more pleasant experience: 1. If you want to get to-go, head inside to the counter where there's a touch pay screen and a person ready to take your order. Easy. 2. If you want a seat, wait outside for the host to notice you when they come out, or peek inside to see if you can locate the host. While waiting, try to back as far out of the way as possible. By no means should you try to approach the counter, even if the person behind the counter asks if you have been helped. They are not the host. Seating is first come, first served, back patio, or inside, whichever is available. I don't think you can pick. It's warm in the back, and I think it's nicer anyway since it's dim inside. 3. If you need to go to the restroom, get up earlier than you think, and assume there will be a line. Have fun, and please enjoy the coffee for me!

Ed L.

Yelp
I ordered mudwater on line and didn't see the disclaimer about the lead content! Garbabge

Trisha S.

Yelp
What the heck. Don't sleep on their chilaquiles. I was not expecting it to be so good. It was SO GOOD. The cream sauce and the nacho chips (so flavorful) with the avocado & egg. Didn't get to take a pic - in my belly already.

Madison S.

Yelp
I know this place is an EV staple but Jesus... expensive coffee that is not terrible, I just wouldn't write home about it. The staff I interacted with today (10/16/24, 5:30pm) were very rude. I have had Mud on my bucket list for a while because of its reputation and I've been recommend but so many friends to go, but after the rude encounter with staff, I will not be going back. This is a bummer considering I did not get to try any food from here yet but alas

Whitney L.

Yelp
Stopped by MUD after a friend recommended their coffee and I can safely say that they have some of the best coffee I've had in a minute! I got an iced latte with oat milk and I love how nutty the coffee is. Not a huge fan of acidic coffee so their latte hit the sweet spot. The staff were very friendly and we got our coffees very quickly. I'd love to stop by for their bruch in the near future to see if the food is as good as their coffee!

Christy C.

Yelp
I saw MUD recommended on a TikTok and had to come try it with some friends! We came on a Sunday afternoon and waited 20 minutes for a table and got a seat outside! The servers kindly explained the prix fixe menu which came with two drinks and a main dish of choice. We all opted for OJ mimosas and coffee, which came out quickly, but there were plenty of other drink choices, including tea for non-coffee drinkers! There were a good variety of food options for the prix fixe menu, and we ended up choosing the following: Mudman Special Sandwich: I opted for sourdough bread, which was nicely pressed and fresh. The chicken was well seasoned and delicious, and the arugula added a wonderful crunch! I also got home fries with my sandwich, but they were okay - needed more seasoning and a nicer sear on the outside. Huevos Rancheros: Good portion size. It looked wonderful, but needed more seasoning. The white rice and beans were okay. MUD Burrito: My friend said it was pretty good! It was a packed burrito with a great mix of guacamole. She got a good salad on the side as well.
