Amazing hospitality!!!! I often come here just to have a chat with the employees and enjoy a cup of coffee. The atmosphere is really great! I am always surprised by how fresh their coffee is and how incredibly delicious their bagels are, especially the garlic bread and everything bagel. I highly recommend giving it a try!

Google
Great community coffee shop! It is cash only, but plenty of space and such kind people! Love this shop and the owner is so sweet and knows the community members very well.

Google
So refreshing to see the same barista for so many years, she is so loved by the neighborhood, always has something nice and funny to say, we natives need these places where we can see people we know (rarer these days because of tech) and feel the warmth of the community. The food is good gets the job done and cheaper than everywhere lol :) I love the coffee cake and the little library

Google
Great coffee at Muddy waters, and it’s terribly sad that they are having to close in February 2021, after being around for 27 years! There is another location on 16th and Valencia, and I definitely plan on supporting Hisham (the super nice owner) there.

Google
I've been going here since 91, where I discovered just how much I love a strong cup of coffee. It was insanely strong in the 90s. And always a fun atmosphere. Now I get the depth charge, at some point they made it not quite as strong as they used to, but this will always be my favorite coffee shop.

I had the soy chai and the Nutella alfajor which were both amazing! I could eat this alfajor everyday! It melts in your mouth!

Laid back cafe with lots of charging stations. The lady @ the counter was really nice ... & she recommended some great places nearby to visit.

Google
So happy I went here. Just simply good coffee done simple. No overcharging for the same bean water and bagel that’s delicious but definitely not worth the price some of these places charge. Friendly and quick. Feels like a neighborhood stop.

Yelp
During quarantine mania, this has been a reliable go-to for me. The manager and barista in the mornings is lovely. She always remembers my order. She's very efficient. The ambiance is nothing to write about, but it's a functional and affordable coffee shop that always delivers. it's good to see this establishment showing so much heart during these times. if I can make only one request, I wish they would accept Apple pay / Google pay. Not only is it more convenient, it's a bit more hygienic than dealing with cash. Anyhow, that won't prevent me from giving five stars.

Yelp
Muddy Waters Coffee House in San Francisco has quick and friendly service. The staff are really kind - the woman behind the counter even gave us a slice of cake when we came up just short of having enough cash to pay for it. The place has a friendly vibe, with the owner chatting comfortably with customers -- it's hard to tell who's a regular and who's a first timer, because everyone is treated like family. The coffee cake is definitely a highlight. It's moist, has the right amount of sweetness, and is well-spiced, making it a tasty treat. However, the coffee itself falls short, tasting murky and bitter, which is naturally disappointing for a cafe. Muddy Waters is also reasonably priced, especially considering the location. An important point to note for potential visitors is that the business operates on a cash-only basis, which can be an inconvenience, but as mentioned above, the staff are very understanding about this and probably wouldn't mind a quick ATM run. Overall, while the coffee quality is lacking, the friendly service and delicious cake make Muddy Waters a decent choice. I can definitely see myself coming back here to work for a couple hours and support small businesses, and I suspect that I may have just gotten unlucky with my cup of joe. Try it out, see if it's for you.

Yelp
The GOAT of sf coffeehouses. Down to earth and decidedly not corporate and sure to scare off the more basic yelp reviewers who complain about parking. Fun for people watching too . The staff is often grumpy which adds to the fun a real sf gem

Adam S.

Yelp
Lovely locally owned establishment with a lot of history and charm. The staff was super friendly and I thoroughly enjoyed my house drip coffee. it was how I prefer - dark and strong. This will be my regular coffee shop in the neighborhood. Keep in mind it is cash only

Yelp
Masala Chai: Did not like Croissant with Egg and cheese: Was nice Bagel with cheese: nice

Yelp
Best House Coffee (Dark Roast) in the city, bar none. Very friendly staff. Max's Blend best dark roast beans in town.

Afshin A.

Yelp
Very good and unpretentious coffee! It is neither fancy nor pretentious, but it has 29 years of history and is the place to go to if you're in the neighborhood and in search of high octane coffee! Hisham Massarweh, is the owner, but it is Najat Echchoukairi, the manager, that is there most of the time. When we got there on this day she was on the phone, with the owner later we found out, and not happy with her schedule, later she told us. In between exchanges with the owner, she would stop, speak to us, and work on our order at the same time! Amazing multitasking skills. We had a few good laughs about the challenges of multitasking after she was done with the call. The coffee was great and the place, although a bit gritty, is in a great location and offers very good treats too.

Yelp
I love the ambience. It is the feel of the old Mission before gentrification. Big tables make it easy to do work or play games. Coffee and food are good. I love listening to the Blues.

Doc P.

Yelp
Great coffee, great prices, and great people watching. There's lots of light near the front window, plenty of tables, and often times you can see folks knitting, drawing, painting or even playing with synthesizers as you sip your coffee. This coffee shop has been so great to artists over the years. I just wanted to say thanks and pay my respect. We had our first meeting of the SF Cartoonist Conspiracy here in 2005 and met regularly for many years. I met some of my best friends here and always enjoyed the creative vibe.

Raymond B.

Yelp
The coffee is great! I like it black, fresh, and strong and Muddy Waters is the best place in town to find it. I've been coming here since about 2003. This place is real, no pretensions. Nijat, the barista/manager is warm and friendly and makes you feel welcome. And the music is good, too. I'm confident that Muddy Waters, the musician, would have liked this place, too. I always look forward to coming here to enjoy a great cup of coffee and read or write. It's a very peaceful setting.

Timothy B.

Yelp
I walked into Muddy Waters coffee Friday after a month away in Michigan, Georgia and Florida, paying ~$2.70 for a large cup of drip coffee. Saw the prices board listing a large basic drip coffee for almost $4 a cup here. Then saw the same rude French woman at the counter behind her COVID acrylic shield from yesteryear who last interaction circa 2018 made a rude and frankly racist gesture about my modest order. She's still working here, SO I GRATEFULLY WALKED STRAIGHT OUT. Not returning. Thank you, next and never again.

Seliya G.

Yelp
This place is great! I was looking for a place to work and found this little gem close to the 16th street mission Bart. There's lots of tables in the front and back of the cafe and you get 3 hours of solid WiFi with your purchase (access code from barista). The grandpa who works here (who is also the owner) was very nice in introducing what they offer and gave me a discount on the matcha latte just because. If you're looking for an unpretentious place to work that also serves food if you get hungry, make sure to check this place out! Note: This place is cash only! There is an ATM in the cafe in case you don't have cash.

Yelp
Came here yesterday for the first time in over 20 years. Back in 1993, when 85% of the world's Yelpers were still in diapers, I performed at the Grand Opening's open mic. For the record, I jammed with great artist and Musician (look her up on iTunes) Aireene Espiritu and performed a cover of "Tears" by the Chameleons. So, a good friend and I came here after tapas for a cup of coffee late last Saturday night. The vibe here is more like your typical San Franciscan Café: beaten down but with character. In fact, I can tell it has been renovated some since back in the day. The coffee was very very good. By that I mean when I got home at 11pm, I found myself still wide awake at 6am! If you want a good cup of coffee that wakes you up, this is the place. Staff are cool and friendly and it's a great place to study or carry on a conversation.

Tara D.

Yelp
A nice place for a quick breakfast bagel & Italian soda! It's quite charming and the prices are more affordable than neighboring cafes.

Nina S.

Yelp
got a garlic bagel with egg and ham, honestly was so delicious. also got a latte with oat milk and it was super yummy. just the perfect amount of bitterness. hung out for a bit to do some work and the barista offered me the wifi password and was very nice. it's pretty quiet in here so a decent place to get some work done

Yelp
My first time experiencing discrimination/racism in San Francisco, crazy it had to be somewhere like Valencia with so many cultures around. Walked in with my white gf (i am dark brown) on a Saturday, beautiful day and the place was empty and now i know why. My girlfriend and i clearly walk in together, we take a minute or two to check out the menu and the guy at the cash register was visibly in a bad mood maybe because he seen a gorgeous white girl with a brown guy, or he was already in a bad mood idk. I am standing right next to her as she places her order and as i am waiting to say my order he is not even making eye contact with me and only staring at my gf. After she is done he tells her the total very quickly and is oblivious to the fact that the guy she walked in with and is standing right next to her, would also like to place an order. She looks oddly at me and the guy still doesn't even look at me! I tell him i want a mocha iced and then he still does not look at me and continues to creepily stare at my gf like i don't even exist or that i clearly didn't just place an order. Clear cut racism and also i've never felt that way as an adult, been living in the bay my whole life. Absolutely disgusted at this place and i hope it dies out of business. The iced mocha was terrible also threw it away after few sips. The guy was a short guy that may be suffering from small man syndrome or he may be disgusted at mixed race couples. He was wearing a hat and was white with tattoos, he should be fired!! Hope the owner sees this to take action before you lose more customers (probably already lost customers as it was so empty) DO NOT RECOMMEND

Yelp
I ventured into Muddy Waters after discovering that all the other coffee shops in the area were full. I was looking for a nice place to study and was relieved to find that Muddy Waters had plenty of seating and was basically empty on a Saturday afternoon! ...I soon discovered the reason for the lack of customers. Firstly, the PROS: -- Plenty of seating to study, there is a whole area in the back with (somewhat old but working) power outlets -- Free WiFi, which was fairly fast if there wasn't too many people connected to it at once. -- The cafe sells a lot of ready made pastries that look and smell delicious! CONS: -- This coffee shop is old and it definitely shows in the outdated seating and musty smell. It seems like the furnishing in this place is falling apart and the smell was a bit distracting. -- Coffee was ok, nothing special. It was actually a bit overpriced for what it was. -- Wifi only lasts for three hours. You have to ask the cashier for a passcode which is unique to each internet session. You can't share your code with anyone else and the code expires after three hours. Seems complex and a way to prevent customers from lingering for too long. -- The employees actively try to prevent people from using the bathroom. There was an "out of order" sign on the bathroom and I overhead an employee saying the sign was only there for show. I was able to use the bathroom after asking an employee. The (very dimly lit) bathroom was working. -- Speaking of the bathroom, it's locked until you ask an employee to buzz you in from the coffee counter. Isn't it kind of a hassle for employees to have to drop what they're doing to buzz people in every time? Maybe that's the reason for the "out of order" sign. -- Employees are somewhat abrasive. Unlike some other Yelp experiences, none of the employees were downright rude to me. However, they weren't the friendliest either. I felt like I was annoying them when I took some time to order or when I asked to use the bathroom. With all its cons, "cash only" model, and somewhat pricey coffee, I'm surprised this place is still open. You can literally go across the street to a much more modern coffee shop with better coffee for the same price (and you can pay over there in card). I'm sure Muddy Waters was once a Mission classic, but I'm sorry to say that this neighborhood is changing because of the tech money coming into the city. And in the era of online reviews, only highly competitive stores will be able to last. Muddy Waters doesn't seem to be keeping up with the times and is being propped up by customers with nostalgia.

Yelp
Simple, hole in the wall coffee shop. They have books to read, art to look at, and plenty of assorted pastries to snack on. Reasonable prices and lots of seating. Cash only when I was there.

Pete S.

Yelp
Probably the Sketchiest Coffee Shop I've been to. I don't mind the "Not turning on the lights" to save some energy. I don't mind the open network Wifi everyone gets on. I don't mind you just have one person working the counter early morning. I don't mind you have to get the key from the lady over the counter to use the shared restroom. But seriously, please put in toilet paper for your paying customers. I ended up going to Cafetazo couple of doors down and bought another coffee just to use their restroom. Other than that, it's a decent coffee shop in line with the locals

Jessica P.

Yelp
I would give them 0 stars if I could. I came in today and sat down as I was waiting for a friend to meet me. I did not order anything as I was merely was waiting for my friend who wanted to grab a coffee there. When my friend arrived she ended up ordering a drink and the barista was super rude and made a snark remark stating, "You're lucky! Your friend came in and didn't order anything. If I didn't know you (which my friend had never been in that establishment before) I would have asked her to leave." As if that comment wasn't uninviting and unprofessional as it is. Then when another friend joined us the barista was pacing back and fourth as if she was uncomfortable with us being there. Her behavior was so apparent and uncomfortable we decided to leave. I get it's a cafe and it's etiquete to go in and order something but she did not know our intentions and that I was going to order something later. The place was empty and there was no need for her to hover over us. That was my first and last time there. I would much rather spend my money else where.

Shafi R.

Yelp
the best lattes in SF. They had two Locations 24th and 16th valencia , but now due to covid only 16th is open .

Sarah P.

Yelp
This place should just close and get replaced by a better cafe with staff who actually want to work. I stopped by because I really had to go use the bathroom. I read on their bathroom door that you had to be a customer only. So I went to the front to order something, only to find out it's cash only. I rarely carry cash and this was my problem #2 on my quest to find a bathroom. I turned around to walk away and told my friends how difficult it was to find a bathroom around here. My friend was digging through her purse and found some cash to lend me, I went up again to buy a drink. Then the staff tells me "it's ok, I don't need it," so I interpret this as him just letting me use the bathroom without buying anything. I was really appreciative that he would be so kind to make an exception for me. So I proceeded to the back to use the bathroom. Then I hear him yelling at me so I get closer to listen. He says "i don't want your business!" I was surprised to encounter someone so ill tempered. I was polite, offered to pay as soon as I realized I could afford to, and tried my best to follow their policies. People like that should not be in the service industry and definitely not doing any good for the business.

Kyle S.

Yelp
It definitely has that hole-in-the-wall feel, but without the food items to make it actually desirable to purchase from. My coffee while expensive, was pretty watery. Although I did just get black coffee and not an espresso, was still expecting more. Maybe I'll go back for food or espresso out of convenience, but nothing really stood out.

Lily Y.

Yelp
To all my one-star reviewers out there: PREACH. Customer service is absolute trash. It's not in their cafe business acumen. Hours online? Wrong. It closes at 10pm and not 11pm and the cashier will wait for you to order your drink and announce he's closing 5 min after. Nowhere in the cafe does it say its hours either, and when we told him we were confused by the time, he just gave us a blank stare and went back to cleaning. Cashier we had tonight had trash service; if it weren't for his facial expression of utter disdain, I probably would've thought he was a mute. Just absolutely one of the rudest cashiers. If you see a 5'7'' (I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt here with his height) brown hair tatted guy, just leave the cafe. Per other reviews, apparently there's also a woman there who is disliked by many, so I highly question who's hiring these personnel. Customer service makes the entire experience. And this place needs better people who actually understands what it takes to be in the service industry.

Shanti H.

Yelp
This sad excuse for a cafe was the worst place I have ever encountered, my daughter and I had entered in hopes of finding a bathroom when we came across one of the rudest baristas in mankind, she wouldn't let us use the restroom r((,6 y,y CLC;; u

Zach M.

Yelp
There are dozens of amazing coffee shops around 24th Street BART. This is not one of them. Bad coffee - the worst cappuccino I've ever had in SF. Rude staff - like, impressively so. The cashier was downright mean to the couple in front of me. All over them asking about the biscotti? Why? Broken wifi - it seems some people were able to get work done, but I was not among them. Oh, and did I mention the bad coffee? Sometimes you walk into a place and you notice it's only half full. Sometimes, that means you got lucky. Other times, that means the place is not worth your time.

Cara H.

Yelp
A little bit of artsy mixed with yummy, affordable coffee. Free WiFi and a public bathroom should be noted and praised. The iced mocha drink was everything I hoped for and it was an awesome little place to hang out. The wall is open for local bands and businesses to advertise which adds a local touch. Plenty of seating and although I didn't try any of the food, it all looked yummy. To be totally honest, there's not too much to say about this place, the drinks were out in 5 minutes and I liked the atmosphere but nothing special? Just your average café I suppose but it was a great stop after lots of walking on Valencia.

Yelp
This review is about the INCREDIBLE amount of disability discrimination for wheelchair users this business is guilty of. First let me say that I am a huge supporter of local coffee shops in the Mission. I have been going here, the Muddys on 24th, Cafe La Boheme, Cafe Tazo, and others for many years. I have never come across something like this before: This place has a huge ledge at the door so wheelchair users cannot get inside. Why they don't install a *tiny* concrete ramp (which would cost less than $50 and be a tax write-off) is beyond me. Instead, if you are privy to the inside-scoop, they will bring you a fold out ramp. Or so I thought. A couple weeks ago I asked for an employee named Nick to bring me the fold out ramp. I was astonished when he firmly said "NO!" I use a wheelchair every day for traveling but can walk short distances to the bathroom and such (it is painful to walk because I have nerve damage in my legs). "I've seen you walk before! I'm not getting the ramp. You can walk in here and leave your wheelchair outside." My jaw nearly hit the floor. I asked to talk to his supervisor and so he called her and put her on the phone. I explained the situation and she seemed slightly bothered (though not outright upset) with what was happening. Nick picked up the ramp and brought it over finally and said "I'm only doing this because otherwise you will sue us or something stupid like that." I told him he did not know about my condition and that it caused me pain to walk. I asked him if it caused him pain to bring me the ramp. "It causes me mental anguish" he said. I called the manager again after this and told her about his behavior. She said it was a problem and that she would call me tomorrow to talk to me about it. Well that was weeks ago. She never called back and this jerk still works there, so I cannot feel safe and welcome in this space. It's heart breaking to know the management continues to let someone who discriminates against customers with disabilities work here. They should also just make a permanent ramp so wheelchair using customers actually know they can enter the space. Here is a picture I took of the entrance:

Yelp
Visiting San Francisco for a week from Austin, and this place has a great atmosphere for my morning ritual and for a couple of half day work sessions. I was there at open every day for a week and Najeet greeted me every day and was just a great person- by week end I felt like she was a good friend. Coffee is good, priced right, and consistent. Good WiFi, not too loud, and Najeet runs a tight ship. Everything is meticulous every morning and it is one of the few businesses I noticed that cleaned the sidewalk in front every day. Nice to see unpretentious pride in this little shop. This place is exactly what a good neighborhood coffee shop should be, in my opinion.

Jeffrey T.

Yelp
Good wifi, friendly service, and coffee. Luckily they had fresh cookies today and hit the spot. Right downtown in the mission so close to every thing.

Jimmy G.

Yelp
You know, I wanted to love this place and I generally do except for when this absolute buzz kill of energy works nights. Don't know his name but the best way to describe him is heavily tatted and zero expression. Now I understand everyone has bad days yet I've been in here on three separate occasions before writing this review. Every single time THIS GUY acts like it's a privilege that you're in there ordering from him. Throughout the entire transaction on the three of these visits he's conducted himself in the same holier-than-thou manner. And I even tipped each time, still willing to give the benefit of the doubt. Tonight was the last straw--I'm sitting with my wife (who had arrived earlier and experienced the same bullshit from him) and he comes over and says "Just to let you know, there's no outside food or drink" and walked away grilling me with an attitude. Stunned, I couldn't even reply. I had WATER on the table that I hadn't even drank from. So if I happened to purchase something from another store and don't have a bag I can't come inside? And furthermore--it's water...WATER. I'm sorry but with any "No Food or Drink" policy, water just simply doesn't count. I could understand if I sat down inhaling a meatball sub or even a bag of chips, but water?! Oh, hells no. Water gets a pass no matter where you go and even more so when you're not drinking it. Mind you, this is after we both had both spent well on their food and drinks AND tipped! In short, this character has no business being in a customer facing job with that attitude and demeanor. And I'm not alone, I have spoken to friends who've visited and all had the same experience. It's crazy that Mr. Johnny Too Cool has kept the job this long and completely insane that he was even hired unless he owns the joint (which I doubt) or is family of whoever does. He's bad energy through and through and I couldn't recommend this place any less because of his sorry ass. The one star is for the two occasions I was here during the day and that wasn't. Chill and what you'd look for in a casual city café then.

Yelp
I am a high school student who attends a college program across the street. My high school is also only a block away. I have come to this cafe about 3 times to work on homework and every visit has been terrible. It wasn't until today that I realized how rude their employees are. My friend and I were waiting on our mentors to come and meet us here, but the woman barista approached us in a very rude manner. I had already purchased a water, but she came up to my friend and said, "And what will you be having?" in an aggressive tone. What a way to approach a minor right? She then told us that this was a business where you needed to buy something and act professional. She said we were very rude and that we could happily leave. We decided to step outside because it was so hot and there were police out front. We ended up stepping back inside and sitting down, but this time the woman stared us down. She was pacing back and forth watching our every move. Did I mention we are just teenage girls just sitting down? Once my friends mentor arrived the two went up and decided to buy a tea. Now the woman got into my friends face and YELLED at her. This was the most disrespectful encounter I've ever had with an employee. All of the mean and hurtful things she said to a CHILD were completely unacceptable. Please take your business else where, maybe a coffee shop that has employees that respect you and don't yell at kids who are simply working on their homework. This Muddy Waters location doesn't deserve ANY stars.

Everest Z.

Yelp
Great coffee, great art on the walls. Good selection of pastries, and breakfast sandwiches, the scones go fast, try the chocolate cake. Great neighborhood meetup spot or place to do work.

Leila H.

Yelp
Don't have any idea why this place only has 3 average stars; it's incredible! I walked in here on a rainy, foggy SF day and stayed for a good 5 hours doing work. It's practically the only coffee shop for doing work in the Mission, all the other places are so small and don't have seating area or wifi. The cashier was very nice and the prices on the boards include tax because it's cash only. I got a soy chai which was moderately priced, and I wish I would've gotten a bagel because someone next to me was eating one that smelled AMAZING!!! Overall great place to work because there are tons of outlets and tables, and the 90s aesthetic felt super cozy.

Akiko I.

Yelp
- Locale Destination - It's on Valencia St and 16th St in San Francisco. It got an "Artistic" Mission vibe - tons of cool arts on the wall and chilled atmosphere. It's a bit rustic. The lady at the counter seemed to be French. She got a style and accent. They got a cafe au lait, not a cafe latte (It's French, you know!) ;p Free wi-fi and a few computers for your use!! Cash only ;( ATM inside! - Gluttony Expedition - Cafe au lait : nice smooth milk foam. Small isn't so small! It's cheap !! - Conqueror's Deduction - It's very cheap. Small size was good enough - at least for me. I'm not a coffee (caffein in general) drinker, but I think even Starbucks charges a lot more for just a coffee (to me). The cup was a very simple cheap paper cup, if you care. Everyone seemed to eat cakes... Next time.

Lewis G.

Yelp
Somehow I'm supposed to log on to the WiFi with a Login Code from the cashier. I'm writing this review using at&t data. Not working. Could be that too many people are signed into the muddy waters guest WiFi, too lazy to figure it out. I got a tea which is good and an espresso shot which was okay. Now I'm wondering if someone who just showed up will be able to log onto the WiFi. To be continued. Update: she's not able to log on.

Henry L.

Yelp
A second branch(?) of a similar location with the same name on 24th and Valencia Walking in, the whole vibe is remarkably similar to the other Muddy Waters coffee shop. The furniture, the customers, and even the taste of the coffee is very similar. At first I thought the place looked small, but in fact half the store is behind the cash register area (you have to walk around it), and most of the customers are actually hiding out back. The menu is basically identical to the other Muddy Waters place, and even written in the same style of chalk, with the same items and prices.

Anna H.

Yelp
With only 1 staff holding down the fort, this place seems a bit run down. Drinks are mediocre. The reason why I keep coming back is because of seating. This place can fit like 100 people. Seating all around the perimeter and wall outlets everywhere! CASH ONLY!

Carlos A.

Yelp
Dingy little spot but great for coffee, bagels and a space to do work. They have plenty of table and the ones by the wall ALL have outlets. I'd definitely come here over starbucks. The music is good here as well. The wifi is free (called Muddys). Seemed like friendly crowd and right on valencia close to plenty of other places if you decide to move around. I'm sitting here writing a grant that is due tomorrow and I"m glad that I chose this place. I will definitely be coming back.

Arshia M.

Yelp
Great spot to get work done! What else can you ask for? Yelp asks me to write more so here it goes again... Great place to grind it out.

Cynthia B.

Yelp
I agree with Heather J, this place is "full of characters." I was brought here by a co-worker who said this is the spot the recovering addicts all go to...so you know their coffee is strong. And she was right! The bathroom is super sketchy, so know before you go =)

Yelp
I've stopped in here a couple of times. It's a great place to meet up with friends and have a nice chat. There's seating in the back and if you need to use internet, you can also use the internet here. The macaroon is pretty good and so is the chai. I'm not sure if I want foam, so I'll ask for no foam next time. The prices are probably what you'd pay at a normal chain. Be aware, the benches in the back are not suitable for sitting there for a long period of time.

Yelp
I had the worst hot chocolate ever in my life. Just hot water with some flavor. And it is cash only! What year are we in??!! I had to throw the shitty hot chocolate cup after 2 sips, when I got home I had a bad stomach ache .Never coming back to this place!! Also, the lady who was serving, was so rude. Not a polite sentence came out from her mouth. What a waste of time and money on this place.

Yelp
I came here because this was the only coffee shop I could find that stays open until 11p on weeknights. Located on Valencia street any car parking sucks but there's the Hoff Street Garage a block away. Walking in it seems pretty small but there is a backroom to sit. At least at the table I sat at there was an outlet. I didnt have any coffee since it was late but had a tea instead. Got free wifi and the speed was adequate.

Yelp
$1 extra for almond milk?!? Crazy expensive. More expensive than Starbucks. Come on. I know it's the mission so everything is more expensive but this place is a dive.

Yelp
Blue Bottle it ain't, but it's still my fav coffee shop in San Francisco. Why? They make a good strong cup of coffee first of all. Then the casual, eclectic atmosphere is just comfortable for me. Lots of characters abound here.

Yelp
Nice uncrowded coffee shop, close to Bart just needed to rest and get some coffee. Pleasant experience recommend if you need a quick place to stop by and also get some work done as I saw many individuals finishing work.

Yelp
Muddy Waters Coffee House is my favorite coffee shop on Valencia Street~It's comfortable, cozy, and cute!!! The chai~tea latte is warm & tastes delicious. The apricot bar is sweet and fresh. The staff are cool and friendly as well.
