"Lower Greenville's expeditionary outpost, whether your adventures are in books or conversations. This gritty cafe is gallery to some interesting oddities so be sure to enjoy a cappuccino and browse the eclectic selection (you'll find them around the walls and perched on shelves). If you can find a seat or couch on a busy Saturday morning you might even be able to enjoy some down time over a beverage or breakfast. Stop in to Mudsmith for coffee by day or beers by night. Oh, and the food isn't bad either." - Tractorbeam

"After eight years of slinging lattes on Lower Greenville, Mudsmith has officially called it quits. According to CultureMap, owner Brooke Humphries cited street construction and declining revenues as reasons for the closure. Fans of the shop shouldn’t be completely devastated, though — a new outpost of Mudsmith will open at the new HG Sply Co. in Trophy Club soon." - Amy McCarthy

The coffee is a little pricier than I thought it would be. Chill vibes all throughout the coffee shop. Great place to get some work done or just hangout with friends. I had the dirty chai and it was delicious. The location is great because there is lots to do in the surrounding lowest Greenville area.

Really cool looking coffee shop, they carry Avoca coffee beans which are roasted in Fort Worth. I ordered a kolache with my coffee and it came fresh out of the oven, it was great. Can't say too much to the environment because I walked in as they opened but my experience was great.

Sure worth The Visit very unique place I enjoyed the coffee very much rich and deep suspect it's of some African origin has that fruity side to it the spritzer water was very nice addition also.

Very chill and super relaxing. So relaxing, couples were all around me cuddling and just being "Love Bunnies". Coffee wasn't all that amazing but the atmosphere makes up for it. Highly recommend the cranberry walnut muffin (ask for it warmed), they also have sandwiches and great little menu if you want something more hearty. There's plenty of seating inside and seating outside (small area), with an abundant of outlets if you're a wall hog lol. The place is located in Lower Greenville or Lowest Greenville (whichever you prefer) it's a great hipster vibe and people are chill and down to earth. A lot of construction is happening in that area so be mindful of how you drive, two way roads can easily become 2 way lanes or roads can be blocked off completely. Before I forget... if you're wondering, there IS parking, in the front up the street and two parking lots in the direct of the place not sure how that is used on the weekends and night but during the weekdays you're good to park there. Enjoy!

Great chai tea lattes. Really nice atmosphere and great place to study. I like the combination of bar/coffee shop.
