I try not to go off a restaurant based off a pickup order but the food is decent. Portioning for the price is a bit off but the hot honey sauce on the wings had a nice spice to it. If your heat sensitive, one or two fries will do the trick. Service was excellent and I really want to try their desserts out next time I go. This is an establishment that would be good for a meeting, date, or after work wine down.

Fantastic sports bar with great food and an awesome atmosphere! Mudville is the perfect place to relax after work or hang out with friends. The ribs were tender and full of flavor, and the wings were crispy and delicious. Huge selection of beers on tap and classic pub drinks. The space is clean, stylish, and comfortable with a rustic vibe. Staff were friendly, attentive, and fast even during busy hours. Prices are fair for the quality and location. Highly recommended if you’re in the area — I’ll definitely be back!

The burger was dry and not particularly tasty, and the spicy crispy chicken burger was neither spicy nor crispy, it tasted very sour due to the large amount of vinegar.

Live in the neighborhood and will not be returning due to staff overcharging. ordered 8oz beers and was charged for 16oz beers, when we called to fix the bill they would not fix it (seems like they did this on purpose knowing to a large table) . Plenty of other better bars with better food, service and vibes!

$I only gave this place 1 star because I could not give it 0 We read on the internet that this place had award winning wings, a buddy and I order 2 half dozen each which came to 32$ (wild price for 12 wings) we didn’t mind the price to get good award winning wings, we left with our 12 wings and ate at work otherwise I wouldn’t have walked back in and demanded a refund. The boneless wings were tiny gross burnt chicken nuggets smaller then Wendy’s and McDonald’s nuggets smothered in sauce, the ranch and blue cheese were gross they tasted old and expired and freezer burnt freezing cold and chunky even the ranch. For 32 dollars I expect real wings not tiny chicken nuggets and for a half dozen I expect 6 wings I guess the cook can’t count because I had 5 in each order, I wouldn’t eat here even it was free, after spending 32$ on these chicken nuggets we were starving, my worst purchase and food experience in NY in 10 years, do not go here for wings there are a million other cheaper options that taste a lot better and give you a lot more food. I spent 30+ at pug uglies and the boneless wings tasted amazing and were giant , 10 of them lasted me 2 days.

Was shopping in the area and popped in for a drink before heading home. Service was good and beer was refreshing.

After an emotional visit to Ground Zero we started just walking. I needed a beer and there was Mudville. We had a couple drinks and then some wings and then we did chips & guac. EVERYTHING was outstanding. Big thanks to our server who recognized my wife was struggling with her beer choice and he came over with some samples. She choose something she liked much better. It is the little things that make a big difference. Great visit and I will be hosting some work lunches here in the near future.

Expansive beer list with interesting offerings on draft. The staff were attentive and friendly and the space was well laid out: plenty of varied seating (high tops, regular tables, a long bar). The food is normal Americana pub fare with wings and such and the prices were reasonable. I didn't notice a happy hour special but would definitely return.

Great place for beer, wings and bar food. I've eaten here and done take out and both have been satisfactory experiences. Their wings were how you would expect them to be. Buffaloey with a good amount meat with some crisp on the outside. I've had their burgers which are standard and yummy. Their fries are well made too. For take out I've had their turkey burger and nachos. I liked the turkey burger and their nachos was huge in portion and had plenty of toppings on it like cheese, pulled pork, jalapenos, etc. Overall, yummy!

Been wanting to come to this spot for a while now. Our waitress Crystal was dope and recommended a great IPA beer. Wish I had more of an appetite because the burgers on their IG page look amazing. We shared wings. Buffalo Medium. They were legit. The ambiance is like a dive bar, def looks like a typical local spot. Will be back soon.

Just had dinner and beers here Saturday night. The manager Mark was very professional, nice, and went over the menu. They have seasonal veggies on their menu and everything is made in house. We had their famous wings which were very good! Pretty crispy, big, and juicy and their hot sauce on the wings were right amount of vinegar and spice. No spicier version than the 'wow' though, FYI. We also had the steak sandwich which came with the best ciabatta bread I've ever had. Could have just had the bread on its own but steak was also good. Well prepared and salted. Overall great! Will return for wings. They have a vast beer menu with rotating drafts and Narragansetts for $5 which is amazing in TriBeCa. Sad it took me this long to learn about this place but glad I found it!

I ordered delivery and it came to me in record timing and the food was AMAZING. BUT... One of the reasons I ordered was because first time customers get 35% off. When my order came, with the receipt, I noticed that they had charged me full price. I ended up having to call Seamless to get it fixed. Also, speaking of full price, I ordered the peas and carrots, which were $9. Although delicious, I was SO disappointed with the tiny portion. They came in a small container (smaller than the size of my hand) and the container was only half full (I've included pictures). Great food... poor pricing.

One of my favorite places in the city. I stopped there for a quick lunch last week and, as usual, I was not disappointed. They have a very nice $16 deal during lunch time when you can choose one entree, one side dish for $16 plus drinks for $2. I ended up getting buffalo wings and fries for $10, which was a very good deal considering the portion. The wings were delicious and I was very satisfied. The server was a very friendly lady and she took very good care of my order. She was very quick too. I will return in the future.

I've been trying to find the best way to start this review for a little too long, so I'll just cut to the chase. The food wasn't very good, which in my case included a turkey burger and zucchini and squash side. There was no attempt at all to flavor or do anything with that side. How it looks in my picture is how it tasted -dry. My drink was supposed to be a patron with pineapple and a splash of lime. There had to have been at least two ingredients missing or substituted. I thought maybe I could drink it so it wouldn't be wasted, but ended up offering it to my date. Based on other reviews, it seems as if the wings were a hit. I wish I stuck with that.

The food at Mudville is very good and I give the chefs 4 stars!! however my waitress for the evening could use a little help. I try to avoid racial disparity on yelp as much as possible because I regularly encounter, know and love some really great people! But then there's that one... Ugghhh. I watched my waitress Meagan approach every table around me, including the ones that sat after my table. I find it quite interesting that one week I can be the only African American person in my group and our service was great, fast forward to when there are no white people in my group and the service is shitty. I must say it was a different waitress but in business you take ownership for everyone's actions. Training needs to be had on customer service for dealing with people of different backgrounds. Ummm Hello it's NYC - one of the most diverse place in the world get it together. I may be black but my money is green and I'll spend it where it's welcome.

If they ever made a "bro" version of "Sex and the City", they could set it here. The guys could talk about work problems, family issues and the crazy world of dating in NYC. Instead of cosmos, the bros would be drinking delicious craft beer from the extensive menu and rather than some "nouvelle cuisine", the boys could chow down on some delicious wings, fries and jalapeno poppers. All the while enjoying great service from the hardworking and very, very attractive staff. I volunteer to be the wizened old guy , Sam, who says outrageous things and is of questionable morals...now I just have to find a friend with a horse face to play "Kerry".

My son, 12 YO wing enthusiasts, loved the wings!! He decided to get the medium wings since he was unfamiliar with the variables. He said he should have gotten the WOW but the flavor was very good nonetheless. The Brussels were also AMAZING!

Superbowl night! This place allows you to male reservations so it was perfect for our party of 16! They had special offer of 4h unlimited veer and chicken wings but we went for the menu ordering 50pcs wings buckets. Everything good!

So I've eaten here roughly 20 times and have yet to have one complaint as the food is always great and cooked to perfection especially for delivery (burgers usually get over cooked when delivered but not here). I'm not going to go on and on about this place because this review should reflect the joint which is "simply" divine. It's all about the ingredients, from the ribs to the burgers and they use high quality product to perfect simple, comfort food. While it might be a bit more expensive then your average "pub" the quality is far above your average pub food. I can appreciate that and to counter their prices they usually run deals to entice online ordering (order from their website it's cheaper then grubhub which I found out tonight & %25 off your first order) as well as eat in. I do think it's one of the better burgers in the area and the Brussels sprouts (I'll admit I throw them in the oven to crisp them up) are fantastic. Keep up the great work guys we appreciate the quality if I haven't mentioned that enough throughout this review and as always when I'm digging a hearty meal you'll be my go to.

I've ordered delivery from this place I would guess somewhere between 15-20 times and get the "famous turkey burger" each time. Last night I ordered two turkey burgers for myself and a friend. They arrived totally charred and inedible. I called the restaurant to complain and they offered to either refund or send out a new order. I chose to have a new order sent out. That order arrived equally charred and inedible. I called back the manager and he said they need to stay on the grill a long time to be properly cooked because it's turkey meat. I explained that I've ordered the same thing multiple times and this is my first time having a complaint. At that point it was too late (not to mention wasteful) to wait for a third order to be sent out. He said he would refund the order but I do not see any refund as of the time of this review. [UPDATE: refund has since been received] I'm including photos of what I received from the restaurant. I just don't understand what the person cooking these burgers was thinking when they sent these out and that anyone would want to put this atrocious looking thing in their mouth. There was likely someone preparing the order too that saw these and somehow thought "yah this looks terrible but maybe they won't bother to complain". They were clever enough to put the most burnt side facing down. I would fire the cook and food prep people for their lack of standards. I will be finding a new place to order turkey burgers from.

Good prices. Fantastic burger. The veggies are wonderful. Street corn, beets etc. This is the most vegetarian-friendly Irish pub in the city. And there is a special 6 buck cocktail. However, it is S-L-O-W. If you're ordering food, do not arrive hungry. And if you're in a hurry, not the place to come. We waited forever before our Tribeca Film Festival talk a few weeks ago. Terrific happy hour. Usually places within a block of a subway station downtown suck. There's a place off the F train (Mediterranean). Wildly overpriced. Horrible music. So I was surprised that Mudville9 has such a locals vibe. A friend told me it's the sports bar for U of Maryland grads.

Service is so important. Just my opinion that the waitress needs a little more training in making all patrons are welcomed and comfortable. Not going to single anyone out but I am old enough to know good service versus okay,service. The wings were good. The garden salad was better than the house salad. The chicken fingers were bigger than a finger, more like the palm of a hand. The house red wine is Frontera, decent. They have enough big TV'S to enjoy sports. I will be back to see if the service is a bit warmer.

Some of the best wings in NYC. Been a favorite place for years. Great lunch specials and they have this AMAZING beet salad. Truffle Mac n cheese is delicious also. They also have a great beer and ale selection!

I'm only writing this review to publicize the 24/7 happy hour special. Mudville should advertise this on their site or somewhere widely accessed. $5 drinks all day.

Great bar food! My job uses them for catering. Love their chicken fingers and wings, they have decent chicken fingers. They used to have good mozzarella sticks but changed it, so they now have a strange egg roll type skin, which are not the same. Other than that change, I would recommend them.

Open until very late, available on seamless! Solid wings and cheese nachos (4.5/5). Various fantastic flavors: buffalo mild/medium/wow (very spicy)/ super wow (very very spicy)/BBQ/bourbon and bacon/Jamaican jerk/honey mustard/mango habanero and etc... Bones/boneless Wings favor: 4.5/5, meat quality: 4/5; presentation: 3.5/5. One of my favorite spot for wings in FiDi.

I came here with my family (total 7 people incl. myself), we all loved the atmosphere. It was like a bar/family type restaurant. We were seated quickly (no prior reservations made). I ordered Mac and cheese, French fries and mild wings. I really enjoyed all the plates I highly recommend the Mac and cheese! I will probably return if I am nearby that area.

I met a bunch of former work buddies at Mudville 9 to watch the Rose Bowl, indulge in wings, and drink beer. Around the 3rd quarter, the table next to us left, and gave us their two mostly full yards.* Now, a couple of years ago I would've rejoiced, and put my mouth under the tap until the free beer was finished and I had thoroughly embarrassed myself and everyone I was with. Oh, how times have changed. Well, I still thoroughly embarrassed myself and everyone I was with, but we barely dented the two things. Everyone complained about what beer it was, or made a similar excuse as to why they couldn't drink it. Then people ducked out early to get home to their new wife/baby/bed. I am officially old. The wings were just OK, but the service was great, and the place was definitely packed and fun. I have no idea how much everything cost because one of the guys recently made partner and was guilted into picking up the tab. It was only fair, seeing as how 23% of the table had recently lost their jobs. *or whatever you call those 3 foot tall cylinders of beer.

Haven't tried the food yet, but love the $5 dollar all day drinks. Great place for a cheap drink in the TriBeCa neighborhood. Relaxed pub.

Came here for lunch today. My bff and I split the mudville burger, brussel sprouts, wings and onion rings. It was all good. Really really good. I wish we would have tried a different flavor on the wings but we wanted to be "safe".... safe not needed there, the food and the waitress, and manager who walked around to make sure all was well...... all good. Definitely recommend.

There are few places like this in an area as quiet as the Financial District, but this is probably the best place to catch a game if you live in the area or work nearby. The wings are the main attraction and reasonably priced. I've never really liked buffalo wings all that much and this place certainly reminded me why - they were dry and completely unappetizing. Same goes for the crab cakes, which are $15 and smaller than the size of my palm, but then again I was probably asking for it. Best bet is the burger here, which is fairly juicy but a tad on the bland side. Service here has been the worst at times and mediocre at best. The bartender during happy hour was giving me some attitude and the the place wasn't even that busy. While I'm not sure if they go through a lot of turnover, I have had a different waitress each time who all had something in common: bad service. Delivery might be the best bet as they're quite speedy and tend to package things fairly well. They're also on SeamlessWeb, which is good news for those who don't want to step in but order the food online.

Mudville 9 was a delightful find on Seamless Web. I was initially wary though scanning the menu, since it had all of the hallmarks of bar fare (wings, variations on a burger, fried fish, chicken strips, etc.) and, weirdly enough, wraps. However, I was pretty pleased with my choice of "Buffalo Burger" ($9.50) which I upgraded to a platter by adding fries for an additional $1.55. The burger was a generous sized Angus beef patty prepared to temperature flavored with Buffalo wing sauce and topped with crumbled bits of blue cheese. I chose this variation for its novelty, as I have never seen this combination before. Given how tasty the burger was, I am surprised it is not so common. I took the burger medium rare so it was fairly juicy which worked well with the Buffalo sauce. The bun held up well, and I dispensed with my meal pretty quickly. Even the fries were textured and tasty. All in all, Mudville 9 is a great place to have a burger and watch a football game, say. The menu added into my bag also clued me into the fact that they are quite the bar, offering more than 150 different types of beer. Looking over the list on their website, I was pretty impressed. How have I never been to this bar before? I definitely need to visit in person and catch a game and another burger. Definitely recommend for delivery.

$30, all you can eat wings and all you can drink for two hours. HELLO football Sunday funday! Beware the all you can eat, at some point your crew might make you do a 2 mile march back to their place.

After a long time of eating healthy foods I decided to cheat on my lifestyle for a day. I was pleased with my experience here. Although I did not drink the rustic bar did look very cool. There was a huge crowd near the bar area. Pros- -Reasonable prices -Great food cooked the way you ask for! Burger was very juicy and the toppings on the burger do come on the side. -Fries were crispy and seasoned. -Portions are pretty big depending on what you order. -Wings were pretty darn good! -A lot of throw back 90's and early 2000 music which was pleasant to listen to while we barely waited too long for our food. -Waitress was very hospitable and didn't even need to write down my long orders! Cons- -Pretty small -A bit noisy -Tables seemed cramped I do recommend this place. It will fill you up and food is good. I will go back sometime in the near future!

I have been ordering wings (bone in and boneless) from here for years. This is an explanation of why I am stopping and not going back: 1. They seem to have raised prices. Is there any reason it should cost $22 plus tax and tip for 20 tiny/mostly breading boneless wings (basically 1 serving for a grown man)? All in over $30 for some wings is a little much no? 2. They are now mostly fried breading with very little meat. See attached picture. This is gross. If you are going to charge so much, please don't make it all gross breading. There was SO little meat this time, I am revolted. It was not always like this. 3. They did not close the lid on the container before delivery this last time. Result is buffalo sauce all over the bag, everywhere. Gross. 4. They have messed up my orders multiple times in the past. I let it slide before but it's still going on my list.... All this said, they do a great buffalo sauce- but it isn't good enough to make up for the above.

Love this place!! They're always busy when I walk in but are always accommodating, pleasant and serve us with smiles. Foods great, nice drink selection and good crowd and music. 5 stars all around. Try the Mudville burger, my favorite.

My girl and I ordered 3 different types of wings with jalapeño poppers! The food was on point! Wings weren't too small and weren't too big. Just the right size. Downside was that it was super super crowded. Too crowded! There were more people than space. I will come here again for wings!

I was walking by, checked out the menu, and it appeared to be a pub, burger joint so decided to stop in. The server was very friendly and seated me quickly and brought my drink just as quickly. She was terrific. I ordered a burger, fries and saw cooked carrots that sounded good so ordered those too. As I waited for the food the seating area was plentiful but the music is what lowered my rating. I know angry street rapping music is popular, but F this and F that is not my kind of dinner music... sorry... I was glad when my meal arrived and it was very tastefully prepared, presented and delicious. The burger was wonderfully juicy, the fries crispy and the carrots nicely flavored. I would not visit again, but some I'm sure don't mind the rappin bar restaurant.

I like to start off by saying, I am not into bars whatsoever and have probably only been to a handful in my lifetime. With that bring said, I would like to credit Mudville for getting me through my first two years of college. I believe my first three semesters of school, I had a Friday night class which ended at 9 and on most Fridays, A few classmates and I would go straight to Mudville! It's the typical bar, typical bar food, the customer service was great and the finger foods were good. My review is probably more based on the fact that they provided me much needed relief after a long day of work and class, but what the hay!

A neat little pub type bar with a large selection of draft beers. That was what initially drew me in to this little spot as I was walking back from the Brooklyn Bridge to the WTC. Decent service and the prices were acceptable.

I've died and gone to BEER HEAVEN!!! This place has an insane selection of beers. INSANE!!! Food: Hot Wings, hot wings galore!!! We had the Buffalo Wow -these were good nice and spicy, but not on fire. Next time I am getting the Buffalo Super Wow because I wanted MORE SPICE. Sweet BBQ -was pretty gross, it was super sweet!! It tasted like maple/brown sugar Ribs: were delicious, they fell right off the bone and where HUGE Corn on the Cobb: fantastic! Pulled Pork Sandwich: very tasty Over all great place for some beers and BBQ.

Walked in at about 6:30pm on a Wednesday and I ordered the South side drink which on the menu states it's made with Hendricks which I didn't get because as a Gin drinker I know the difference but fine, no biggie, I asked the bartender why she made it with Bombay instead of Hendricks and she said "They were out of Hendricks" which at that point I feel as if you should inform the guest but okay fine. I finish my drink and saw an Asian bartender (Sammi) making my next drink with house gin so once she brought me the drink I asked her why she made it with house Gin and she said "that's how we make it" then I told her that the bartender before her made it with top shelf gin so she sucks her teeth and takes the drink back and makes it over and slams it down on the counter. Rude rude and RUDE. I'm still here finishing my drink but I WILL be saying something before I leave :).

It never fails- when i am dead set on my path to being physically fit, i get an invite to Mudville. Its walking distance from work and makes an ideal spot to load up on beer and wings. I often give in and go promising to get a salad while everyone stuffs their face with wings.... and it never fails that upon entering the establishment, Im slapped in the face with the intoxicating aroma of hot sauce and fried stuff that i say "screw the salad, gimme the wings". They have a nice variety of sauces to choose from. For those spicy lovers the sauces here will please your iron palatte. The wings are okay - does anyone else think they are a litle on the skimpy side?

Wide array of beer & wings! Mudville is a great spot to catch a game or just catch up with some friends, as the energy is that of a sports bar with LOUD ASS music. The last time i was here, there was a three page long menu of beers for Oktoberfest and i enjoyed a few IPAs (dont mind if i do)! They often feature harder to find brews. When i was in New Orleans earlier this year, i fell in love with Abita's Andygator which is locally made. Mudville actually had an Abita gator brew; although a darker version of my light delight, i was very happy to see it being featured. As i love to eat spicy, i always opt for the most intense level of heat (Super WOW). The wings and bites are not doused in sauce by any means, so i also always order some extra on the side. If you are not into the mouth-on-fire-smell-it-coming-out-of-your-pores-the-next-day type of heat, there are alot of other yummy options. While there are multiple levels of buffalo sauce, Mudville also offers 2 renditions of BBQ, a Jamaican Jerk, Sweet & Sour and a Thai flavor. Aaaand if you are not into wings at all, there are also lots of other satisfying dishes available on the menu. The chili is awesome & super thick-perfect in the winter. Service is good, not great; kind of have to hunt the waitress down.

Wings are amazing! Bartender not impressive at all. Didn't even try to be engaging, but she wasn't rude so that was a plus. Don't think I would come back unless I wanted really good wings.

Family friendly spot with televisions in the back to watch the game (whichever one is on). Large portions at decent prices. We had the wings (6.5/10) and mozzarella sticks (7/10) with some imports. Mixed drinks were on the weak side, but the beers were lovely. 6.5/10, overall but it caters to a younger, more diverse crowd.

Service is poor, and the food is less than mediocre. I had a turkey burger with fries, and my father had an Angus burger with a salad. (It was just the two of us, stopping there for a quick bite). The waiting period was terribly long before we received our food. My burger immediately fell apart after the second bite. I requested a fork, so that I could then eat it as a meal. Waitress said "okay", and then went on to seat and serve other people. It may have her slipped her mind, understandable--no biggie. So I asked another waiter for a fork, and he supplied one rather quickly (ok, pretty cool). No one checked to see if we needed any more drinks or if the food was alright. (I guess they figured they may have known the answer on the food part.) After finishing the meal, we both were a bit hungry and were thinking about ordering wings (just to try them). We were mentioning the wing order to each other, when the waitress was present and was clearing the table. Instead of asking if we would like to order anything else, she gave a bit of a confused look and then left (as if she was either lost, or heard something that she wasn't supposed to). She came back 5 mins later with the bill (alrighty then, *cue my confused look). Due to the lack of service and long wait time, we payed the bill and left. No wing order for us. Waitress was nice, but inattentive. Unsure if I'd return. Overall: Place was definitely a "bar vibe", which isn't bad. It's just the food and the service/wait times are what sucked. Voices are loud, music is playing, tv's are present, and the bathroom is clean. You see a mixed crowd of college students, to suited finance guys, to general civilians/people.

Crazy deep draft beer selection including a lot of seasonal and small brewery selections, though I'd say the prices are on the high side even for NYC. Very good wings (boneless an option if that's your thing) with numerous sauce choices, and other above average bar food options. Plenty of well-positioned televisions. Even a couple decent healthy eats (a tasty chicken fajita wrap, salads, etc.) Mudville is on a kinda desolate stretch of Chambers, but it's close to a lot of different subways, and it does a lot of different things well. If I were choosing someplace to get a geographically spread-out group together to watch a game, this would be a top choice.

After a long day of showing an out-of-towner around the city, I would've eaten just about anywhere. My guest was in the mood for wings though, so we found this place. The fire-roasted corn on the chalkboard outside had caught my eye. I love corn. Major sports bar. Mets were on, Canadian football was on, and some other sporting events that I was paying exactly no attention to. Our waitress was SUPER friendly. I believe the owner (cute!) was sitting at the table behind us. I got the fire-roasted corn, macaroni and cheese and a caesar salad (see picture). Everything was very good. The corn itself was only decent, but the cheese and pepper it was covered in made up for it. Huge beer selection. Can't say much, because I didn't have any, but there were probably 12-16 taps with some great looking brews. They also have beer towers if you're interested. Bill came to just over $17, so a little pricey, but not outrageous. My out-of-town guest loved her wings, kept talking about how delicious they were. Owner came over when we were finished to clear our table, which I think was a nice touch. Con: NO DESSERTS?! What?! I almost never get dessert, but I was in the mood for a treat after dealing with tourist traps all day, and they have none. Hopefully they'll add to the menu!

I like Mudville. The food is good- decent size menu and a wide selection of beers/liquors. There's ample seating at the bar and they have regular tables on both sides of the bar. The bathrooms are clean and they have a good music selection. They do offer drink specials before a certain time which is cool. I had to knock off a couple of stars because the service isn't the greatest and some of the bartenders seem like they have better things to do than take your drink order. Again- no buybacks here, but it is what it is. Still a chill spot.

I came here for lunch the other day and it surprisingly exceeded my expectations. I ordered the Turkey burger and it was chunky and very meaty. It was cooked really well (not well done) and I couldn't complain. The fries were crisp and they gave a fair share. The only thing I wished was that they included the fries with the burger, which is now pretty standard in most restaurants. I loved that they had quite a few large LCD screens on the walls too so you never miss the action of the games you're watching. Service was very good, even though there was only one waitress. I wouldn't mind coming back for lunch, but for $14 I always feel I can get more bang for the buck somewhere else in NYC.

My wings were perfectly cool and the service was extremely attentive. I know they have wing and beer specials for $27. But it just wasn't my thing though I saw others participate.

Typical sports bar, nothing out of the ordinary. I've been here for lunch a few times, and the food is pretty standard (i.e. fries, burgers, wings, etc.) A large group of us came here on a Friday night. The service here was terrible! The service was slow, it took 30-45 minutes just for our first drink to come out. When we asked the server to check in on our drink, she swore the drinks had already come out. We had to convince her that no one had brought out our drinks. Then, at the end of the night, she accused us of being short on the money even though multiple people in my group had counted. Overall: decent food, typical sports bar, service is a hit or miss.

Beer and sports. Servers are friendly. Food was OK. I heard the bartender claim that this is a major stop among NYC beer bars. Oddly, when I asked to see the beer menu, I had a choice between scanning a partially obscured, chalk board that was not really informative. Or, I could get up and survey the taps but, that wouldn't tell anything about bottles in the fridge. Their way of handling the beer menu question is "What do you like?" and "We'll tell what we have in that style" OK. But, couldn't you just make it easy for people to get an answer to such a routine question?

I have been coming to Mudville for a few years now, although I visit it less often now (unless I have a meeting or some other reason to be in Tribeca during the week). Recommendations: don't try to come here during the weekend evenings, it gets to crazy. Best to sample the food and the atmosphere Mon - Thurs. Also, the wings are pretty good (or so I am told), but there is the issue with the sauces/ combos, so remember that. Right now, I would say the best beer (for me) on tap is the Chelsea's Hoppy Holidays. It has a good alcohol content (I think it is either 7.5 or 7.9) and it is a warming beer, good for the cold weather and the season. Oh, and the drink prices are pretty reasonable - it's $8-10 for the top shelf hard liquor drinks and mid range for the beers on tap.

Mudville 9 NY Manhattan Tribeca 8pm Saturday 22 November 2014 Four Stars We came here to watch the UCLA v USC NCAAF Game. We sat at the bar and the nice barwoman put the game on for us. The place wasn't crowded but still had a good energy. We sat with some other fellow UCLA supporters who popped in for a drink during the first and last quarters (they were suppose to be at an engagement party at Tiny's but they had other priorities. I drank the Founders Red Rye and had the California Burger cooked medium. The Bun was slightly sweet and best part of the dish. The Patty was cooked medium and tasted good. The Avocado was plentiful but not quite ripe. The lettuce was fine, there was only one tomato slice, but the pickles were briny, crunchy, and delicious. Overall, the atmosphere, food, and price made this bar a great place to watch the game. Next Time: All you can eat wings *I just need 5 friends to do it with.
