Mugs coffee & grub

I ordered a café miel with an extra shot and it was delicious on a cool Michigan morning! The miel is lightly sweetened with fresh honey with a bit of cardamom and a sprinkle of ginger powder on top. The latte artwork and thick foam on the latte was delicious. I skipped the whipped cream, and you should too if you love microfoam and latte art! Not super sweet; the espresso was just right.

LOVED this place! The staff was amazing. Some of the best customer service I’ve had. The coffee menu has tons of options and so did the food menu. The coffee is made right and it is so good. They had a great fall menu too. Dairy free options as well. Nothing but good things to say about it!

So glad we finally have a great coffee shop in this area! Excellent latte made with organic coffee and high quality organic syrups. I got a sandwich today, and it was phenomenal as well. Again, high quality ingredients! The decor is cozy. The service is friendly, helpful, and above and beyond.

Cold brew coffee was great. Price was good. Biodegradable straws were a plus. I'll be back. UPDATE I went back for take out coffee and a sandwich. The sandwich was glorious! There was a good amount of delicious turkey and melty Swiss. The flavors were fresh and perfect with the crisp toasted sourdough bread. They even opened the sandwich after toasting it to add in the fresh veggies so they would stay crisp and fresh. I'm sure I'll be back!

Good place for lunch/sandwiches. Turkey and cheese with avacado is like $8. I haven't try their coffee yet so I can't comment. I don't like their macaroons. It was bone dry. Sandwiches are good so just come and order sandwich and coffee

Mugs is a true gem. I'm a fan for life. The staff is always kind and just a joy to be around. Their coffee is better than anything else in the area. If you have a chance to try their sandwiches and soup, you won't regret a single bite. Everything is delicious, fresh, and just SO GOOD.

We LOVE This Place! We travel almost an hour to get here because the food is delicious and the employees are gracious. We walked in late one time and they turned the grill back on after it was off as they began closing, just for us!! The coffee is incredible! We love the make your paninis. Don't think we could make it quite the same as at home, there's just something special about how they make it in store! We want to say thank you to the owner for opening such a great coffee spot.

Best coffee, atmosphere, and customer service in the area!!! I came here for the first time two weeks ago and have already been back 6 times!! My go to is their caramel macchiato which isn't too sweet and I can still taste the coffee. I have also tried their pour over coffee, Samoa cookie latte, and bagel bombs which have all been top notch as well.

The best local coffee shop in White Lake!! The coffee is so good and reasonably priced, with a lot of options for flavoring. This time I got an iced caramel latte, but I'll have to be back to try some of their signature lattes. The staff are soo sweet and make the experience even better. Until next time!

Needed a place to catch up on work while in between appointments and something to eat for lunch. Inside had high ceilings and lots of tables, couches, and other seating areas. Greeted by friendly staff right away. I ordered the grilled cheese and for extra I got a pickle and chips. Felt being charged for a pickle was a little, meh? I also ordered the harvest green smoothie. I asked what was in it and she didn't really know but said it was good. A case of sweet treats was to the left. Menu wise, lots of options - breakfast, smoothies, milkshakes, paninis, toast, chili, soup, and bagel bombs. Single stall bathroom was at the back of the place and was clean. My grilled cheese was delicious. Grilled perfectly and not brunt. Lots of cheese pull and decent size. Chips were from Great Lakes Potato Chip Co. The Harvest Green smoothie was yummy - pretty sweet for a green smoothie. I noticed a lot of regulars were coming in and knew the staff. I was able to work in peace and eat some lunch. Will be back when I am on the road again!

This is a nice little coffee shop in White Lake. My go to is the coconut caramel latte, it's one of their best in my opinion but they plenty of options. I really like their bagels and avocado toast as well. The staff here are very friendly as well. They stop their conversation, greet you and all seem to be in a genuine good mood, which I imagine has to be hard dealing with picky coffee drinkers. I'd recommend stopping by if you're in the area and need a pick me up.

Stopped by while in the area and so glad I did!! Cute coffee shop, peaceful and the staff is 10 stars!! I had a vanilla lavender latte (you really should try it because it's amazing!) and I got bonus artwork!! This place is everything a coffee shop SHOULD be and I wish I didn't live 50 miles from here because this would be where I'd run on crappy days. I hope all you locals appreciate what you have here. Starbucks has nothing on this place!

Great food and great service! Go early! They sell out of things if you go around noon. Comfortable and cute little coffee house.

Great drinks, food, service, and atmosphere. I try to come here a few times a week just to read, I will say it's not always quiet so if you need to concentrate bring some headphones. Definitely my favorite place to get a coffee/tea and read in the area

I needed to go to Ulta when I discovered this business. They moved about three or four months ago from Farmington Hills, and I am very glad they did. This seems like a great place. As soon as we entered the place filled up with customers. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The first thing I noticed was their bagel bombs which I love. I remarked they looked like my favorite from Evergreens in Oxford and I soon found out that is exactly what they were. Perfect! Those are scrumptious and now I can find them a lot closer to me without taking a road trip far away. They also had bars, cake balls, macaron, cinnamon rolls and donuts to name a few. They serve avocado toast and breakfast sandwiches. They have crazy milkshakes and smoothies on their menu. I was here to start with the coffee. You never know how well a local chain is going to prepare coffee, it is an art to be a good barista. We ordered the cold brew with honey sweet cream and a mocha. They were both amazing. The mocha had a rich chocolate taste, the cold brew was sweet and refreshing. I would go back for either. They also had some fun flavors chains do not typically carry, like lavender and coconut. They hand delivered the coffee and food to the tables and made sure all of the guests were taken care of, being personable and approachable. The is fun, with Edison bulb exposed light fixtures, clocks with gears, and plenty of outlets for people to plug in their devices. This area needed a small coffee chain to enhance the shopping experience. There is a Kroger, PC Penny, Marshall's, Highland House, Waterfall Jewelers, and a few other places here. I do like a good shopping trip and then a nice place to relax afterward. I also know the kids would love to visit. This place had a nice variety of families, teens, young adults, etc....It is small, but does offer some nice places to sit and relax.

Stopped in here on a whim and got ice coffee which was great. I got a bagel bomb which I've never heard of it and before. Wasn't really my thing kind of needed like some cream cheese or something just was a little dry for me but not bad at all. I wouldn't be opposed to getting another one and adding some smear. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Overall really nice place and I'll be back!

Mugs is a cute corner shop with a small pastry offering and good, rich coffee. I met a friend for an afternoon coffee break and it was pleasant. Two treats and two coffees were over $35, a bit steep? It was clean, my service was fast and good, my pastry was fresh. I will give it a few more tries at different times of the day because it is in a convenient location in the Town Center of White Lake.

I was hoping to find a place that had scones near me. Nope. They get their donuts, bagels & such from other local stores. I did not try any of their sandwiches. I tried their coffee. Hot, yet not remarkable. What are they show casing? Inside looks inviting & comfortable. They do not open early which is what I am also looking for. This could be a nice place for many.... just not my cup of tea.....lol.

First time visitor and was not disappointed. Excellent service, amazing pour over coffee and cannot say enough about the jalapeño cheddar bagel. Will definitely be back!!!

A much needed addition to White Lake. An independently-owned coffee shop with the friendliness, decor, and hometown feel that will make you happy you stopped in. Strong coffee and many baked goods to choose from. Highly recommend!
