Mugshots Sports Bar & Grill

We went there the first Sunday in April. The band was phenomenal! Mark Thomas and The Essentials They played a wide variety of music! The food was great! We had so much fun!

This is a great sports bar to hang out at and have a few drinks. I love it because it has a dart board. There is also a pool table here too. Came here last night with my bf to see the live band and play some darts. The food I give 5 stars to Mr. Beef’s beef sandwiches. I don’t know how Mugshots food tastes because I only come for Mr. Beef’s sandwiches. The live band was okay. They played good music but it was kind of hard hearing the singers voice. The drinks here are made well. Friendly and great customer service here.

Was there for dinner & band. It was really crowded but the servers, managers, staff really stayed on top of things. Service was friendly even though they were probably stressed with the crowd. Manager/owner even stopped by to check-in with people. Food- mixed review: burgers good, quesadilla good, nachos had the gross yellow cheese sauce. Between 7 of us, barely ate any of it. Taco salad was flavoreless, even with salsa - left 80% uneaten. Sliders were good.

This is my favorite bar in the whole wide world 🌎 I love this place and with the new addition of new girls behind the bar, and great sandwiches like the Meatballs and Mozzarella, you can't go wrong. I'm still trying to make it to their Tuesday night Karaoke night. Stop in and ask for Kinga Tell them Johnny sent ya.

If you want great food with Carl, AKA The Original Mr. Beef, and customer service, this is the place! The owner, John, always goes out of his way to make you feel welcomed! Tamara and Liz are amazing bartenders who fill your drinks before they're empty. Eileen, the manager is a sweetheart! She has a smile on her face all the time and jumps in to help when they are busy. You will not be disappointed. The best part is that John books the best bands!

Mugshots has friendly people, great food, great assortment of drinks and beers, many screens for sports fans, a billiards table, dart board, and more. For just opening, we look forward to what is to come. 👍🍺🍷🍹🍔🥨

I liked my beef sandwich. It was delicious to me. I think it is one of the best beefs in this area. But this is the SW burbs, so that may not be saying much after pondering it. Now, walking by the bored bartender and the unfriendly regulars to get to the sandwich is another story!

Great food, excellent live entertainment, friendly staff. Fun place to watch sports games.

Don't really ever know when the kitchen is open, and when it is, it's never known which menu you can order from. Stopped in for live music and looked like a retirement community. Owners ok, drinks with the girlfriend often there, or we see them at paddy bs.

Won't come here when the bartender with the bull ring nose piercing is working ..Miranda or whatever her name is.. very unfriendly .. seems to like to gossip more then be attentive to staff. None of the original staff seems to be there anymore which is a shame.. $13 for a BLT and fry... my sandwich was smaller then my hand.. looked like a child's portion.. not the same Mugshots that it once was..

I have driven past this place a few times, not sure how long its been here. I called on a whim to see if they had bags outside because it was 70 degrees outside yesterday and I'm ready for beer garden season to begin! The woman that answered the phone mentioned that they were having live comedy and that we should come on in - well, we did. Mich was our excellent and talented bartender. Thanks for the hospitality, Mich! "Mr. Beef" was a neighborhood favorite for a very long time; I thought the owner retired, but I was so happy to see that he moved his menu to Mugshots!! I dont eat meat, but this was the best beef around, truly. The comedy was hilarious across the board! Service was excellent, and so were the fries and drinks! The bathrooms were clean and the prices are very reasonable. Can't wait to go back, and so glad to have found a new bar!

It's all about the 'Original Mr. Beef' tucked away behind the scenes. Legendary Beef with an acclaimed robust taste I'm still waitin' for! The bread is good but if you like your sandwich 'Wet', an extra 'Nip' of gravy is taboo. The original recipe thrives on sentiment and the glory of yesteryear. Nothin' wrong with that...'I like old school'. But If a Buona Beef opened next door, I just might scratch that itch...

Asked for a mugshot punch supposedly one of their drink specials and the bartender was upset she to make it. Unfortunate considering thats her job and its a drink special they should probably take it off the menu if its that big of a hassle.

Good food... drink specials..good chocolate martini! Great Karaoke on TUESDAY NIGHT! 7 til 10.

always live music on weekends. good food both Mr. Beef and their own kitchen. kind of an unusual format but it's good. more of a dark gloomy bar. small outdoor patio on the parking lot

This review is for Mr Beef which is in the back of the bar. I formerly lived in the area, and came back to visit. Coming to visit Chicago, I had to stop and get a beef sandwich based on reviews from other people about Italian beef sandwiches. My sister who lives in the area was excited to try it also. I ordered five sandwiches, we did have them lightly dipped, and I have to say I was very disappointed. The Jus has a very good flavor and a little kick, but the very thin sliced beef was just dry and had a dry texture. It was almost as if they had been simmering the beef all day long in the jus and all the fat and flavor left the beef. If you want green peppers, hot peppers, cheese, or anything else they are an upcharge. Needless to say, she probably will not go back again to buy beef sandwiches.

The beef gravy is loosing its savory taste. Does not pack the "WOW". Hoping for some back to basics improvement. Need me some UMAMI.

Excellent Italian beef very tasty. Tasty fries too. Service was pretty good also. Its inside of a decemt sports bar.

Not sure if under new management, but now..... not for hispanics, used to come here often since we live down the street. Time to find a new spot
