The 22 Best Vegan Restaurants In London - London - The Infatuation

"Korean spots are notorious for meat-heavy BBQ, but this Shoreditch restaurant is completely plant-based. The pajeon is pleasingly stuffed and crispy, the tteobokki delightfully chewy and saucy, and the jjigae richly flavoured. And the maternal, welcoming owner might slip you a tub of sticky beans with the bill because you said you liked them. Know that the canteen-ish space is six-stools-small, so get takeout during the lunch rush hour or snag an early spot for an unhurried dinner." - jake missing, rianne shlebak, daisy meager, sinead cranna

The 20 Best Korean Restaurants In London - London - The Infatuation

"We challenge anyone to go to Mukbap (in any mood) and not leave happy. The pajeon is pleasingly stuffed and crispy, the tteobokki delightfully chewy and saucy, and the jjigae richly flavoured. But it’s the side of maternal warmth from the welcoming owner of the vegan Korean spot that’ll make you most happy. She might slip you a tub of sticky beans with the bill because you said you liked them, or fuss over being careful to let the soup cool a little. Know that the stripped-back, canteen-ish space is small—i.e. six stools small. So get takeout during the lunch rush hour when office workers from Shoreditch and Liverpool Street descend, or snag an early spot for an unhurried dinner." - rianne shlebak, sinead cranna, jake missing, daisy meager

Question 1, can I give this place more than 5 stars??? And 2, can I adopt this lovely woman. The food was phenomenal, it tasted so much like home food. The service was full of smiles. And the atmosphere was super friendly. The fact everything was vegan was also so so so good. We came in here for our 3 year anniversary and had the most lovely time. The lady running the place temporarily became my grandma and I swear I will happily sell my soul to this place. Everything tasted like home, we got everything on the menu and extra for takeout. Very much worth it. Love it so much.

I was just looking somewhere to eat with my friend, being starved after arriving here in London from Germany. We had our suitcases with us and the owner accommodated us so nicely. She was so kind and simply endearing! The food was amazing! The dumplings were so tasty and the dipping sauce just rounded it all off. It arrived so fast and was fresh and hot too. I had the japchae and they were so delicious, they were so chewy and the veggies were not mushy and had the right amount of crunchyness. Definitely would eat again. Also had the bong bong peach, got grapes instead but didnt notice until the end haha the grape flavour was very tasty too. My friend had the tteobokki and he inhaled them, the owner offered a glass of water in case it was too spicy. I choked on a piece on accident and can confirm its very spicy in your windpipe. He likes to eat very spicy so he had no problems. We got a little candy as a parting gift and a little sightseeing recommendation, we had a very nice little chat. She was simply an angel! Definitely worth going to get lunch or dinner!! 🩷

Had an amazing meal here yesterday! Really delicious food and excellent service. Came here with my brother who isn't vegan and he enjoyed just as much as me who is ☺️ we had the veggie pancakes, veggie dumplings, crispy tofu bibimbap and 'beef' bulgogi. All of it was absolutely delicious 😋

Just had lunch in this super cute place. The food was absolutely delicious - freshly prepared and swiftly delivered. We had a mix of small plates; kimchi; pickles and shared one rice cake main between two - can't wait to return - would happily eat everything on the menu. 💕

We arrived 30min before they closed for lunch, but they were still welcoming and friendly. Food was tasty, nicely presented and everything seemed clean. Prices are fair. Ps:While the furniture fits the space and aestherics, could definitely be more comfortable.

Was really looking forward to this place as it’s the first Korean vegan place in London, but the food was very underwhelming. The spicy Tteokbokki with ramen was super spicy and inedible. It was hard to eat it! We had a few bites and didn’t finish it. The spicy chicken was also underwhelming. The pancake, japchae, sushi and bibimbap were decent though. The portions are really small for the price. Lots of room for the restaurant to improve.

Such a lovely little spot. The staff was super helpful and so kind, and the food was absolutely wonderful. I’ve found it difficult to find good Korean food - especially vegan - in London, and this place is a GEM! I had their bibimbap with crispy tofu, with some tteokbokki on the side. Will definitely be back and try more from their menu!

The spicy crispy chicken was hands down my favorite—it's hard to believe it’s completely vegan! The texture and flavor were incredibly close to real chicken, which totally surprised me. The kimbap, on the other hand, was a bit underwhelming and didn’t stand out much. The ‘beef’ rice was solid—flavorful and satisfying. As for the spicy rice cakes, they were just okay—nothing really memorable. The soybean paste stew was my least favorite; it had a strong natto-like taste that didn’t sit well with me. I’d definitely come back just for that crispy chicken, though—it’s a must-try!
