Here for my birthday. Recommended by golfer friends (we are from Canada) We were in the back dining room which was a more intimate environment than the front of house which is more like a bar. Amazing place even though it's off the beaten path. Absolutely fantastic food. So tasty.

After hearing about this restaurant for years, my wife and I traveled there from Canada to celebrate her birthday. We were not disappointed! We loved the quaint atmosphere, and the many personal photos adorning the walls. We enjoyed our tasty and plentiful beet salad and stuffed banana pepper appetizers. The (very large) Lasagna entree was the star of the show, so unbelievably juicy and tender...didn't even need a knife to slice off the pieces. The Chicken Violanti was also very tasty, and our bottle of Italian red wine completed a wonderful meal. I am also so appreciative, I forgot my cc when we left, but received a phone call while still in the parking lot and was able to retrieve it before driving home. Thank you so much!!! It will definitely be a place for us to visit again, so many other enticing items on the menu that we saw being served around us!

When you think of Buffalo you think of wings, football and family. At Mulberry you get all 3 but more so it’s the family feel plus the outstanding food. I’ve been not wanting to post this because I don’t want people to know how great a place this. It reminds me of the old Italian restaurants in Philly and NY - pre 2000. The owner Tim cares and has crafted his skill to perfection. I will admit. I’m a tough food critic and 75% of my reviews are bad but I have to let people know how great an ave this is. Don’t sleep on the wings but the Italian food is the way to go. Just perfect. Thx

Couldn't say enough positive things about Mulberry. This is the second time we have been here and both times the service and food were excellent. I really can’t say enough about the food, everything we ate looked as good as it tasted and at a reasonable price.

Google
Mulberry in Buffalo is fantastic! The food is absolutely delicious, with generous portions and great flavors. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a meal. Highly recommend this place if you're in Buffalo and looking for a top-notch dining experience!

Mulberry’s reputation proceeds itself. I live an hour and a half away and I had heard multiple times how extraordinary their dining experience was. So I gathered a couple girlfriends and we planned a road trip to find out for ourselves how good it really was. Mulberry’s did not disappoint. I will say this was a plan ahead experience because it took a couple weeks to get a weekend reservation. We were very happy we spent the time to visit and enjoy. Our garlic bread appetizer was huge and delicious. I had the chicken and wild rice soup and it had so much flavor. The girls enjoyed their salads and then came the entrees. The famous lasagna was made with a delicious sauce, a ton of mozzarella and other cheeses and a ton of melt in your mouth slow cooked beef. It was a very large portion and one of the best pieces of lasagna I have ever had. The cannelloni and stuffed shells were similarly delicious. One downside was we were too full for dessert. For those worried about the price that is then the best part, three soup or salad, a shared appetizer and three entrees was $108! That was a value in my opinion for a lovely shard Italian meal with friends in an inviting spot. Thank you, Mulberry’s! (And Go Bills!)

I am not one to typically write reviews, but I must say I had to go out of my way to write this one specifically because of what a phenomenal experience it was. Jamie was our server and she was Intelligent about questions we had regarding the menu, friendly, outgoing, and personable. It was just my fiancé and I who had dinner and we had two appetizers, three main entrées, and two desserts. Yes we know that sounds like a lot for just two people, but we really wanted to try different parts of the menu while we were in town. We were traveling from Rochester, NY a little over an hour away and didn’t mind the idea of having leftovers lol! We had grilled octopus and stuffed banana peppers as our appetizers. The grilled octopus was a smaller portion, but was wonderfully executed, and the banana peppers were on the spicier side (to be expected), but also had other tasty elements to it! If you’re a veal fan, the bone in veal parm is a must when you go!! The pastas are all fresh and the three different sauces we tried were all packed with flavor. And then of course can’t go wrong with the homemade desserts, even on full stomachs we downed those bad boys haha! I can’t say enough good things about this place - the quality of the food, service an atmosphere was top notch! I hope everyone has an experience like the one we had this evening!!

Google
We loved the atmosphere. All the staff were very quick and very nice. We did have to reserve. People were dressed well or dressed up. I did not see children. It's a more fine dining type of place. Small parking lot across the street. The food was fantastic. The small menu is not complicated. Homemade Italian food. Good prices. Highly recommend.

Yelp
We've been coming here for years. The service has always been excellent. The food WAS the best. But what happened? The eggplant looked like it was from the frozen food section of a local grocery store! There was 1 breaded layer & tons of cheese. It was a slab, not cut from a true eggplant parm dish. Horrible. And the portions were less but prices much higher. What happened to Mulberry? New owners, new chef. Went be going back soon nor will I recommend this restaurant.

Yelp
I had reservations at Mulberry's for my birthday, but when my friends bailed, I decided to eat solo at the bar. Thankfully, the fantastic service and incredible food more than made up for it. The bartender was very pleasant and attentive. I enjoyed stuffed banana peppers with just the right kick and the eggplant panino that was perfectly crispy and satisfying. And the tiramisu for dessert was incredible! Overall, the experience was a win! TL, DR: it was super yummy and I'm going back ASAP.

Yelp
Came tonight for an early dinner with friends -it was a $250 dinner. The only entree that was worth its salt was the veal chop Parmesan. I'll speak for my own, which was the shells with cheese. They just weren't good -undercooked not warm under seasoned. The entrées that my friends had other than the veal were just OK. We shared appetizers of artichokes, stuffed mushrooms and Caesar salad - all of which were just OK nothing special. For example, the mushrooms could've been cooked longer and had some sort of seasoning. The artichoke were good but wasn't worth the money for the size of the portion we received. As far as desserts- they were good and the cheesecake was OK but very sweet and tasted like burnt toffee. Overall very disappointing from when I first started coming here. It continues to decline my opinion.

Yelp
Mulberry is a small family restaurant tucked away in a neighborhood off Rte 5 near the old steel mills. It's easy to miss if you don't know how to look for it... But when you find it, it's a treat! We managed to make it in at the end of lunch service, which was tight given how full the restaurant was already. Yet despite the fullness, our order was both taken and served quickly. The staff were very nice and the food was excellent. The Silveri's Wagyu Meat Sauce was cooked perfectly, with a savory meat sauce that paired perfectly with the intense smoked flavor of the cheese. They split our order with an extra $3, but the portion after the split was certainly more than a single plate. I would certainly recommend Mulberry to someone looking for something with a little different menu with a calm atmosphere and pleasant service.

Yelp
Mulberry restaurant, named for the street at the heart of Manhattan's Little Italy, is known for their Italian fare but it's also one of Josh Allen's top 3 wing restaurants in WNY so on this visit we ignored their delicious meatballs and jumped straight to the chicken wings. Location: 4.5 / 5 Starting off strong, Mulberry offers a great ambience and a unique location. We visited at Christmas, where it was decorated to the hilt which is too nice not to mention. They also offer a very good Old Fashioned, just like your Nonno would have made. Presentation: 4.5 / 5 Hitting all the high notes: Porcelain, celery, homemade bleu cheese and a thoughtful presentation. Italian grandmothers would approve! Meat: 2.5 / 5 Mamma Mia, this was like a boneyard. All sorts of protrusions and irregular shapes. Cook: 6 / 10 Again we were filled with regret at not ordering crispy. Oddly, some had it but not enough of them and those that didn't were gummy, gummy, gummy. Gotta question the preparation when 50 wings come out in 10 minutes. Par-cooking anyone? Medium: 10 / 15 Wings Kings have only left wings on the table a handful of times, and at Mulberry we left 4. Flavor was okay but mostly franks. Par cucina? Scadente! Specialty: 5 / 10 Tre White, welcome back old friend. Your first order of business now that you're home, get your name off those wings. Just a squirt bottle of BBQ. Garlic parm tasted like cleaning products. Sweetie Hot were pretty good but the best of a poor crop. Overall 32.5 / 50 Mulberry, come for the meatball, stay for the lasagne (maybe skip the wings).

Yelp
Another impeccable meal at Mulberry. Food was amazing. One of the best eggplant Parmesan dishes in Buffalo. Service was spot on. Had an enjoyable dinner with my mom and sister. We ordered arancini, beef appetizer (special), side salads with homemade dressing, eggplant parm, braised beef agnolotti, and grilled short rib with risotto.

Yelp
The food was very good. The tomato sauce was very strong tomato flavor and the spicy vodka sauce had the perfect amount of spice wile being very creamy. The menus were very extensive and a little expensive. Their pasta was very fresh. The service was average for the food but we always had water and the water was very attentive. The ambiance was ok. There wear very little lights other than the small lamp on the table that put a glare on my menu. It was very loud and full you will need a reservation. People were dressed nice but it was an average restaurant that was like a nice sports bar. I would recommend this for a special action or a fun night out.

Yelp
The lasagna featured on the food network is a must try! My family and I drive 1.5-4hours for it for a reason! Lunch at the bar with Lisa, the best bartender, is always wonderful! Especially in winter and the holiday season! I love that they keep their extravagant Christmas decorations up until towards the end of January, so you can still go appreciate them without the crazy Christmas shopping rush. All of the dining areas and waitresses are great, but being at the bar with ninja Lisa is my favorite. She's so friendly and FAST. I'm usually in a real rush for lunch, and she doesn't dilly daddle. I'm in, ordered, drank, fed, billed, and out quick! I love it! I highly recommend the famous lasagna, to die for stuffed mushrooms, mozzarella sticks, meatballs, arancini, and of course the complimentary bread and oil!

Yelp
I brought my daughter here for her first visit earlier in the month on her 25th birthday and we were throughly delighted by the experience. There was a last minute change in schedule and I was thankful that I scored a reservation on short notice. We ate in the Green Room and the ambiance was tasteful and family friendly. We started with the Buratta appetizer and fresh bread and were treated like VIP guests by the waiter. For mains, we indulged in the Eggplant Parm, Seafood Diavolo and Chicken Parm. The food was exquisite and each entree was good for dinner the next night too. To finish the evening our daughter had the crème brûlée which was adorned with a birthday candle. Patrons joined in singing happy birthday to my daughter for a most memorable night. She is already asking about an encore visit.

Yelp
Every visit to the Mulberry is top notch and leaves you already wanting to plan your next visit. I cannot say enough about how it's the best Italian out there, but wait, they also have the best chicken wings in Buffalo. We love going around the holidays while the main room is decorated to the nines. Service is always fast and so good! No alcohol for us on this visit, but plenty of food. Cheesy garlic ciabatta bread, (which is perfectly smothered in gooey meaty cheese), wedge salad (the thick chopped freshly cooked bacon makes this!), Tre White spicy bbq wings. (Legit the best!) Our entrees were the Milano chicken parm (perfect amount of spice!) (#GoBills) and a tagliatelle Alfredo dish. So much food. So good. We rolled out of there and took home a piece of peanut butter pie!

Tracy G.

Yelp
Absolute perfection! From the appetizers to the main course, the food was fantastic. We started with the mozz bites and stuffed mushrooms, then the caesar salad, then the chicken parm and gnocchi. Everything was coursed correctly, not too hot, not too cold, and so saviory. Marinara was exceptional. I cannot recommend Mulberry more highly.

Yelp
We are traveling by RV as we recently retired. My wife decided to visited Buffalo for the summer to see family and reconnect with long lost friends. She was born and raised here but left decades ago. I was traveling to FL to scope out our next winter campground. So while she's visiting and telling me stories she keeps mentioning Mulberry's. She went this week, she went again with this relative etc. Being a retired restaurateur I love to hear about the biz. She convinced me to come visit (not my first) Because she had a surprise. Missing her I'm appy to oblige I arrived in Buffalo and off to Mulberry's we go. Well almost not. We call and found them completely booked. Wait, what it's like a freezing cold Monday at 3:30. Nope their booked. Since we're running errands we ask if they'll call us with any cancellation since we're in the area. About 15 minutes later we get a call saying if we can be there in about 10 minutes they have a cancellation. So zoom we go. Ok so here's what you probably already read. This place is a local icon. Packed at 4pm, everything humming along. Happy customers laughing and smiling. Plates of steaming hot food all around. Servers and bussing staff weaving in and out in an impressive dining room ballet. Our server had served before, if you know what I mean. She deftly ascertained it was my first visit and guided me through the menu and options like she knew me. EVERYTHING was great! No I won't regal you with any prose. The food is awesome . The service as well. What a great night. And the surprise my wife wanted to spring on me? She found a cottage in Derby she wanted us to buy for our summer home. Holy smoke! We were going to RV for a couple of more years. Well, I am now a new Derby, New Yorker. I didn't see that coming. Go Bills!

Yelp
I always thought this was a fancy Italian restaurant, and it's not really. Just a local family restaurant in what looks like an old house. Service was just fine. I feel like there was only one server for the whole back room, so when we were looking over the menu, she didn't come back to take our orders for a while. The menu online vs in restaurant is slightly different. Some new options that are soon to be featured on Food Network. I wish I took a photo of them menu for accuracy but didn't think about it, sorry! Complementary bread 7/10 I was surprised because it was cold and not warm. But it was fresh and soft inside with a good crust. They also give you an entire bottle of oil, so you can pour however much you want. Buffalo Mozzarella Caprese 8/10 It was good and refreshing. I feel like there was more mozzarella than tomato, so you didn't get equal flavors in every bite. I did add a sprinkle of salt to it as well. I would have also liked a little balsamic drizzle too. Mulberry Meatball 3/10 The meatball was HUGE! Flavor was not bad. Very sausagey. It was good but not my type of meatball. It mostly went to waste. Baked Jumbo Stuffed shells 8/10 Very impressed with the handmade pasta. There was a bite or two that wasn't covered in sauce so when it was baked, the pasta got a little dry and hard, so it wasn't the best bite. The ricotta mixture in the middle was very good, and the cheese was super soft. It wasn't super melty or runny, it kinda stayed together. I do wish there was more cheese inside though. There were a few bites that the noodle was folded over onto itself and had no cheese at all. The sauce was more robust than sweet, it was very smooth and was a good flavor. Wagyu Short rib and Bitto cheese risotto 10/10 (New item & soon to be featured on the food network) Short rib was cooked perfectly. It was sliced very thin, you could see the marbling. It was so soft and tender and it really just melted in your mouth. The risotto was very good. The cheese had a very sharp flavor to it. It tastes familiar, like a cheese I've had before. Peanut butter pie 9/10 The pie filling was so soft and fluffy. The peanut butter flavor was perfect. This was probably my favorite peanut butter pie I've ever had from a restaurant. The crushed peanuts on top added a bit of texture to the bite, I could have done with or without them.

Yelp
Went there for the first time after hearing so many good things about this Italian restaurant. The menu is extensive and there is a daily special menu. There were 4 of us, we ordered the crab cake and garlic bread appetizers to share. We each got a side salad. One ordered the "Gravy " pasta, one had the halibut special, one went for the Eggplant Parm. There were so many appetizers that looked appealing so I decided to order 2 for my dinner-the Spanish octopus and the short rib tots. The pasta and eggplant parm portions were huge. I was told the halibut was slightly overcooked. My appetizer dinner was a little on the salty side for me. I think next time I will try the pasta dishes. Parking lot is on the side, but it got full very quickly. Street parking is available. We were sitting in the back room, which was great. The front room with the bar was noisy.

Yelp
My experience tonight was amazing. It definitely beat my first visit. They have completely updated the menu. A lot of new meals on the menu as well as some of the Mulberry classics - like the meatball and the home made lasagna! The food was fantastic- portion sizes were great, the food itself was delicious, and our waitress was super nice. I got the chicken parm Milano and my husband got the wagyu short rib gnocchi which was on special. We started with the wings - and they were award winning for a reason. YUM.

Sean M.

Yelp
The service is good the waitress was very attentive but I'm a grown adult I can pour my own wine from the table. I understand it's a high class thing to have someone do that but ask before you pour. The meatball didn't have much of a robust flavor to it kinda bland and the sauce was also average. The spaghetti noodles looked like box also it didn't have that homemade taste to it. I looked forward to trying this place for years and I was kinda disappointed in the end. It's a small a small place cute for a romantic dinner with someone but theirs better places in town. Also if you put a wine on special have a bottle open for sample.

Yelp
The food was delicious and we will definitely go back anytime we can get a reservation. As you do need to get a reservation the tables go quickly (there isn't much space/tables). They have three rooms one of which is the bar area with all the cool holiday decor on the ceiling and pictures of famous people who have come there. It was very neat to have a picture with all the hanging ceiling decor during the holidays!!! I would recommend going to try some amazing Italian dishes, you won't be disappointed.
google avatar

Yelp
Great little neighborhood spot with tremendous local ambiance. Even though we were a bit late the hostess honored our reservation and we were seated right away. Warm and inviting. Our waitress greeted us quickly and was very friendly. Didn't go deep into the menu however did enjoy the octopus app and then had clams with spicy spaghetti. My colleague had the lasagna. All tasty especially the lasagna. Wish we'd gotten a meatball. Next time!

Yelp
Always have to go to Mulberry around Christmas for the decor! We started with the banana peppers - Great spice but could have used a side of sauce. We both tried new dishes on the menu- the Milano (chicken parm with spicy vodka sauce pasta) and the grilled short rib with Bitto cheese risotto - this was SO delicious! The menu also says that dish will be featured on one of the Guy Fieri shows. We needed the night with the peanut butter pie perfection! Great service as always!

Yelp
Mulberry is my number one ranked Italian place in WNY! My wife and I came here to celebrate her birthday and we dined like royalty!! We shared the meatball that is amazing - all time classic and must have! I had the famous lasagna that never disappoints and my wife had the chicken Parmesan that was amazing!! We always love coming here during Christmas to see the beautiful decorations and all the hard work they put in to hanging their ornaments! The service is always top notch too! We will be back and love Mulbery!

Yelp
We haven't been here in a while even though our last visit was very favorable. We were seated right on time. The place was packed for a Monday, early evening! Our waitress was very friendly and took our drink order. When she came back she suggested the scallops on the specials menu and gave us time to think about what to get. When she came back we decided to try the One and One and the Octopus. The octopus was good but could have been hotter (temperature wise). The meatball was the star, while the sausage was still very good. The marinara was delish! I thought about the scallop special, but ultimately decided on the chicken parm, with pepperoni. My wife had the gnocchi with a meatball. Both were excellent and too much to eat, so we now have leftovers for this week. Love the table lights that are adjustable for the mood. Great spot, great food and great service!

Yelp
Absolutely lovely! Had an amazing meal last night. It was the groups first time there. We loved the ambiance of the place. An amazing charm! Food was great. We had the Spanish Grilled Octopus as an appetizer and my main course was the Chicken Violanti. I got to try the Lasagna and the Eggplant Parmesan as well. Each dish was delightful. The waiter was amazing too. Very quick witted and funny. He made the table laugh a lot and we were lucky to have him as our server! I can't wait to go back!
google avatar

Kristina C.

Yelp
Their fresh made pasta is amazing! Go during lunch to try the chicken wings!! Service is always excellent. I've sat in all areas of the restaurant. Every area is well lit, with a light you can change the brightness setting on. Definitely a must try if you like fresh made pasta!

Yelp
Pasta Service Announcement...Mulberry is no longer a secret hidden gem. Nestled on a residential street in the Bethlehem Park neighborhood, it's got a speakeasy vibe without the attitude, with lots of local "pastarazzi" usually in house - for you Bills fans out there. Although there are lots of pastabilities, I usally order the ravioli with meatball on the side, accompanied by their perfectly made Cosmopolitan, of course. They knock the meatballs out of the park (meatball park that is) as the meatball is large enough to play ball and made just like your Nonna's - authentic with just the right amount of spices. The ravioli's are pillows of deliciousness in the creamy & delish red sauce. I give it 12 out of 10 pasta noodles. If you want in, make your reservations pronto as they book weeks in advance. Peace, Love, Pasta & Meatballs

Yelp
Make the reservation and plan to go hungry so you can order multiple appetizers and have a glass of wine and the bread and an entree because it was all so good. The service is great and our group of 8 was hungry. We ordered a meatball, arancini, sausage and peppers, stuffed mushrooms, fried mozzarella -every single dish was good, our favorites were the mozzarella, mushrooms and a tie between the sausage and peppers and meatball. We enjoyed a bottle of wine - Amarone, because our friends know their wine and it was great. Our main entrees: The Gravy - 2nd place Lasagna - a favorite Chicken Parm - traditional and trustworthy Eggplant Parm - traditional and trustworthy Linguine and clams - Creamy and good They make their mozzarella in house and they share it generously. Everyone shared a bite because the portions are large enough to share even if you don't want to. Everything was hot, fresh, delicious nothing was over garlicky or salty- we left impressed and too full for dessert and with some to go boxes. They have decorated for Christmas and the restaurant is cozy but it doesn't make it feel cramped and they sit multiple large groups so you can go for a romantic dinner or a family outing. Mangia!

Yelp
This is the best Italian food I've had in the Buffalo area. Walking into this place was like walking onto a set of a mafia movie. We had a group of six people. We had about six or seven appetizers and every single one was amazing. Had the lasagna for dinner and you could get three meals out of it. Very dense very very good. Looking forward to going back. Our waiter was from Queens and he was a total gentleman. Fantastic food fantastic service would recommend this restaurant to anyone who was looking for a great Italian meal.

Yelp
Love the sauce, usually. This time the garlic was raw. So I figured what the hell. I ate it. But if it were my first time eating there the. It would have been the last.

Yelp
This place was divine! We stopped in after a graduation at the OLV Basilica and were lucky enough to snag a table. The location is very unassuming and adds to the charm. Inside, it is cozy and intimate. The service was excellent and welcoming, even on a busy night. We started off with Chardonnay and house made cheese sticks. Our entrees were cooked to perfection: the eggplant parm, goat cheese agnolotti, and the ricotta/romano/pecorino gnocchi was to die for. The gnocchi was the winner, but they were all great. We will definitely be back to try everything on the menu! Make sure to save room for dessert, there are several offerings: cannoli, crème brûlée, tiramisu, and Oreo crusted peanut butter pie. The best dessert was the tiramisu in my opinion, as it was delicious, not too sweet, and perfect texture. Definitely recommend checking out this place if you've never been. Tons of street parking available, since it is a residential neighborhood. There are two small parking lots across from and next to the building, as well.

Yelp
Braised Short Rib Agnolotti My husband and I enjoyed an evening out for our anniversary recently and were pleasantly surprised. Every aspect of our experience was top notch, right from the start. We arrived for our 5:00 reservation on a Saturday night to a full house. Yet, there was zero wait time. We were immediately seated at a cute little table for two and our server was very attentive. You never would have known they were so busy based on the great service we had. The staff is obviously used to a constant flow of patrons and skilled at what they do. I had the Braised Short Rib Agnolotti and my husband had one of the specials for the night. Both dishes were amazing. My dish was divine!! Very tasty and pleasing to the eye, right down to the beautiful little mushrooms. The beef is tucked in to cute little homemade raviolis and the sauce is sooooo good!!!! We both had plenty to eat and a nice amount to bring home which we enjoyed all over again the next day for lunch. We went away very satisfied and raving to friends about the experience. We are regulars now and very happy that a restaurant with consistently amazing food and consistently talented, attentive staff is so close to our Hamburg home. (These seem to be rare aspects these days). The ambiance adds to the experience...there are several rooms, and years of history on the walls, so no matter where you are seated, you have that cozy, down home feeling. It is a wonderful place for date night, special occasions, or just a midweek meal out. See you there soon!

Yelp
I felt really good to come back to this place. Food has always been amazing and it still is. I was excited to bring my husband here as it was his first time. We had early dinner reservations, and was seated right away. The restaurant was quite busy already and louder than I had anticipated. We opted for the sausage, stuffed banana peppers and grilled colossal shrimp as our appetizers. Got the award-winning lasagna, which was delicious and flavorful. The ricotta was so smooth it was like perfection. The last entrée that we had was the shrimp fra diavolo also very delicious. For dessert we had the Oreo peanut butter pie. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was it felt like they were trying to flip the table really fast. We were in and out of there in an hour. With that being said I'll def go back, maybe on a different day/time. I want to be able to enjoy everything and not feel rushed.
google avatar

Nicole K.

Yelp
The food was great I ordered the chicken Alfredo which was cooked perfectly and the creme brulee was great, service was good none of us had empty drinks! Everyone in my group said they would definitely go back!!

Yelp
Visited for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon. We made a reservation, didn't wait to be seated. It wasn't too crowded, but it was busy. We sat in a smaller side room with a large window, tables are spaced appropriately, so you're not bumping into each other and it doesn't feel packed. Decent variety on the lunch menu, including salads, pasta. I did add a HUGE (baseball-sized) meatball, didn't know what I was getting myself into. We all enjoyed the food and cocktails. The service was friendly, food was very good. It's quite dark inside, but not ominous.

Yelp
Thoroughly enjoyed the space and food here! Wine was fantastic - great selection. Tried the wings and they were delicious! The meatball was okay, I also had the scallops a more and it was the highlight of my week!

Yelp
Our group of seven senior ladies had lunch here today. The food was excellent as usual! But what really impressed us was our server Lauren. She was very efficient and very accommodating. It's hard to find a server as pleasant as she was!

Yelp
My friend and I made reservations at Mulberry just to spend some time together and enjoy a nice dinner. The restaurant was busy but our reservation was kept and we were promptly seated. My meal was amazing. I had one of the pastas that they make in house, it was a beef short rib stuffed pasta with a vinegar based sauce. We finished our meal with a slice of peanut butter pie to share. We both loved it and will be back.

Yelp
All the food was delicious! Well priced, great service. Would definitely go back! Tables were close together, but didn't bother me much.

Yelp
Service was excellent and they were extremely busy at lunchtime on a Friday. Spaghetti Parm was good. Bread was delicious. The specials they had looked and sounded delicious and I would like to go back to try more of the menu. Recommend reservations!!

Yelp
Great food and service as always. The meatball and Lasagna are the best in the Buffalo area.

Yelp
I am super picky about Italian food and my opinion rarely reflects what everyone else considers good. I don't usually go out for Italian in the area often because of this. I happened to come for my significant other's birthday and was pleasantly surprised. We ordered a bottle of wine, Spanish octopus, lasagna, braised short rib agnolotti and a cannoli. The octopus was amazing. We order it often when we see it on a menu elsewhere and we were kind of surprised it was offered here. The flavor/ spices were perfect and I haven't seen a cook on octopus that well done in ages, anywhere. The short rib agnolotti was perfect. Delicious short rib flavor and mushrooms were blended for a delicious dish. There was almost like a gravy for sauce and I highly considered licking it off the plate. Now the lasagna, was a huge portion, which everyone here goes wild for, that is not my top criteria but to each their own. I was a little disappointed with it. It could have been cooked a little more to get the cheese bubbly and it wasn't seasoned well. The red sauce was just ok. For a dish that probably sells out every night I would think they would have this down pat. The cannoli was amazing. Super crispy shell and delicious filling. The ambiance is what I'd call mom and pop chic in this local gem. They are known for home made pasta and serve a lot of American Italian traditional dishes along with some twists on the classics. Service was great and they are open Mondays which is a huge plus for this area.

Yelp
If there is one Italian restaurant in WNY that you had to choose for a great meal, this is the place. Portions are huge, pricing is very reasonable, service is always outstanding. The bar is a friendly gathering area for a pre dinner cocktail or to eat at. Eating there is always satisfying and enjoyable.

Yelp
It was a Saturday evening and after trying a few different places that were closed or had a long wait time, I somehow stumbled upon Mulberry, and I'm so glad I did. We were sat almost immediately and the waitress was very attentive and answered our questions (and helped decide on the appetizer). I got the lasagna, which was a generous serving and packed with flavor. I do think the sauce could've had a bit more seasoning, but that's very nitpicky. And for as delicious as the dessert looked, it was fairly standard, but otherwise an outstanding restaurant I would return to.

Yelp
We went for lunch and found the place clean and nicely appointed inside. I had the artichoke and burrata appetizer as well as the one meatball plate in sauce . Both were delicious - loved the red sauce. My wife had the chicken caprese sandwich - the chicken was juicy and flavorful with a tasty and crusty bread . We finished it off with a cannoli that tasted fresh and not too sweet . Excellent lunch with great service .

Yelp
I like this place, but this was disappointing. Just pay your staff a living wage...why all the tips?

Yelp
3 of us had lunch Christmas eve. The atmosphere & Holiday decor was great. The food was so delicious. *Lasana, eggplant parm, scallops & tiramisu* The service was great. Definitely want to go back easy to park even on a holiday. ( Must say the eggplant was a large serving and so flipping good..Best Ive had in a very long time)

Yelp
I love mulberry ! Who doesn't ? The food is great ! Hearty portions! And the best meatballs around ! HUGE ! The atmosphere is incredible and real NYC feel in a small corner of Lackawanna NY . The staff is great / knowledgeable/ prepared and professional . Family friendly with an authentic Italian "accent". Get your mob boss on and get ova there !

Yelp
A little pricey, but more than worth every penny -- easily one of my favorite spots to eat in Buffalo. I recommend making reservations. You might not need them, but better safe than sorry. My go-to order is to start with the Tre White wings and finish with lasagna. I can never finish it and always have to bring food home with me, but that's just part of what makes it more than worth every penny. I wish I could recommend more menu items, but I can't get away from them. The lasagna melts in your mouth. I've had some great lasagna at other places, but never anything comparable to what they have at Mulberry. It got featured on Food Network at one point! Some places go downhill after they get mainstream attention like that (because they feel they no longer have to try), but not Mulberry. As for the Tre White wings (which are a spicy BBQ flavor, clearly inspired by Tre's Louisiana heritage)... Not only are they named after one of my favorite Bills, they're sneakily some of the best wings in ALL of Buffalo. Yeah, I said it and I'm serious. Most people don't think to get wings when they go to Mulberry and most people don't think to go to Mulberry when they want wings. That makes them one of Buffalo's best-kept secrets. If your food takes a long time to prepare, you won't mind. Just scan the walls for all the pictures of sports stars who have visited Mulberry. Most of them are Bills, but there are some Sabres and Bandits mixed in, along with occasional stars who played for non-Buffalo teams or who are media personalities. Mulberry isn't just a meal, it's an experience. Everyone in there has a smile on their faces. You might even have the door opened for you with a jolly "Welcome to Mulberry!" from someone who doesn't even work there.

Yelp
My fist time at this well established supper club. The invite was from a couple of regulars "everyone knows their name". The table started with an order of stuffed banana peppers - these are sausage filled (I prefer cheese) - very good. My Caesar salad would make any Greek feel loved ... fresh anchovies were the hit of this app. Main course was the home made ravioli with a 3 pound meatball. Sauce is very good and the unlimited bread basket is old school pasta house gold. My plate was licked clean. A surprise comp'ed Cabernet from my workplace safety consultant had my eyes welling up with tears. As full as my tummy was ... I wisely ended the meal with a cup of Kopi Luwak and a piece of peanut butter Oreo pie - this was the star of the night. Lackawanna has one of the best pasta houses in the area ... old school with upscale flavor - next time, I'll try the wings? Many reasons to go back for more.

Yelp
The food was good, the service was good, the atmosphere was terrible unless you are a maga, which I am not. One of the three televisions above the bar had on Fox "news", the main source of misinformation and disinformation in this country. If I hadn't been short on time I would have left immediately and gone to a restaurant that wasn't inundating me with that trash. I will never come back.

Yelp
I'll start by saying Italian isn't my favorite, so take this for what it is. I got the sausage gnocchi and it was sitting in a quarter inch of grease. Sausage was ground up into bits, so was basically just a plate of soggy cheese. The banana pepper soup was just a cream broth. I asked if it had meat, and the waitress said it had sausage. There was none. The front room is extremely loud. We had a table of 8 and I couldn't hear the person directly across from me. The food is covered in cheese like Chef's, but Chef's actually tastes good.
