"COVID-19 Update: Open for curbside pickup and delivery. If you want a slice of New York pizza that is better than most places in New York, look no further: A super-thin crust, and wonderfully tangy sauce set the standard for pies you can eat by the slice or takeout whole. We particularly love the eggplant parm and the white spinach pizzas, but nothing disappoints. There is another location in Sherman Oaks, and there are two in Beverly Hills—in Beverly Hills proper and on Beverly Blvd. COVID-19 Disclaimer: We are working hard to keep our listings as up to date as possible (deliveries, outdoor dining, etc.), but given the evolving nature of local COVID-19 restrictions, we recommend double-checking the information in this guide with any business you plan on visiting. Have been going to Mulberry St Pizza since i was a kid, when they only had 1 branch in Beverly Hills. I still find it to be the best NY-style pizza, even better than those i’ve tried in New York. The pizza is really thin and crispy, and they use quality ingredients. The ambiance is also pretty cool, a lot of posters/pictures of celebrities with testimonials on the wall to the owner and the establishment. The staff are always friendly.

Google
It has a nice Italian American pizzeria atmosphere to it, with signed photographs of celebrities who have visited the place. I ordered the Sicilian slice and the lasagna slice. The Sicilian was good but flimsy. The lasagna was too doughy, but at least it came with a side of marinara. The staff was helpful, but aloof with me. Good for a quick slice if you happen to be in the area, but not the best choice in LA.

Chicken Parm Slice - 5 🌟! Lasagna Slice - 5 🌟! Side Caesar salad - 5 🌟! Mulberry Street Pizzeria is a pizza place with an eclectic menu, and most of it is available by the slice! I love a good cheese or pepperoni slice, but sometimes it is fun to try something unconventional. My recent stop here hit the spot for slices with fun but tasty toppings. I loved both slices, but there was something special about the lasagna slice. I think the ricotta cheese is what elevates it since it adds a creamy, cheesy, and slightly sweet taste to the pizza. Their lunch specials are great and filling. The side salad is really appreciated, and they do not skimp on it. There are lots of other fun topping combos, and I think I'll try to visit their other locations and try some of them out. In a world of plain pizza, it's always nice to have a slice that you can't get anywhere else.

Google
One of the best anywhere on the west coast. I made the 2 hour drive to stop in for a pizza with friends because there is nothing this good anywhere where I live.

Google
What can I say? These guys have some of the best pizza in Los Angeles hands-down. It is my go to pizza place. If you’re looking for a great slice of pepperoni pizza go here. They have a decent lunch special with two pieces of pizza and a small salad with a Coke For like 18 bucks. It used to be12$ before the pandemic. The staff is super helpful as well.

Google
One of the best places in the valley to go for sliced pizza OR a whole PIE! Slices are HUGE! SOOOOOO GOOOOOD! I RECOMMEND THE WHOLE PIE, then you'll have LEFTOVERS! Pepperoni pizza and the Caesar salad, even the salad is DELICIOUS. Been going for years, and we all who live in the valley love this place. Enjoy!

Google
So I drove on Ventura Blvd and I was in the mood for some street style New York pizza cause all the pizza place by the area are like ok I’d say. I spotted this place looking for a pizza place near by and omg!!! This is exactly what I was looking for and even better!!! I ended up ordering a large pizza since me and my daughter love pizza And all I can say is Wowwww! Their pizza is so good very much like the New York street style pizza so if you are craving that kind of pizza this is the spot you all!!!! Also when you walk in there are so many celebrities that are here through out the years walls are covered in old celebrities photos that are here so very cool too! I love discovering small great places like this one ! They have outdoor seating perfectly for a mood of pizza lunch . Enjoy! :) Omg I just discovered it’s the same pizza place I love eating at in Las Vegas Resort world and I’m Beverly Hills too :))))

Google
I love this place! The owners are so kind and caring. Their pizza is so fresh and tasty. They have a wonderful variety too so there is always something for everyone if you want somewhere nice where people can get what they want.

Yelp
Love this little gem. Coming from NY we are always on the hunt for a good slice and amazing service. This location has both! We come 2-4 time a month for a nice dinner and amazing chocolate cake!

Yelp
love this place, absolute favorite pizza i've ever had, always had good experiences until today, ordered 2 pies welll done emphasized crispy and charred, i can't stressed how many times i repeated it, i love it well done, dude was in a bad mood on the phone or busy couldn't tell, he kept putting me on hold becuz i had questions my gf picked it up and i get the most undercooked pizza(which i still ate because it was still eatable) but the garlic knots were literally raw, dude sounded like some mexican guy who was depressed , ill still come here but get better employees for christ sake, how can such an amazing place have such shitty employees, such a shame

Yelp
Worked my ass of all day to get off at 930pm. I RACED to this spot and made it with 5 minutes remaining (please spare me... there is a closing time for a reason). These flojo restaurant wrkers were already counting all their cash out brazenly in the open. The cashier/supervisor? told me in the most conescending way possible, that "NOPE THEY WERE DONE!" . Told the guy it wasnt 10 yet. He had to look up at his own clock to confirm I was right. CANT believe I wasted my time coming here.
google avatar

Kirit S.

Yelp
It's interesting pizza with compelling options, and each slice is very large. You can ask to have it double-cut (cut into smaller slices). However, it's also quite expensive. I don't believe the taste makes for the increase in price. The ambience is very industrial. Most people came in to pick up and take out. Service wasn't bad; I got my pizza without much of a wait. So, I think 4 stars is appropriate.
google avatar

Betty S.

Yelp
This 1 star is strictly for the rude man working the cashier today 1-8-25 @ 12:30pm! Maybe he was in a bad mood - but zero customer service! His attitude needs to improve! He was rude to others as well! However - Best NY pizza!
google avatar

Yelp
Quite literally the best pizza in the valley if you ask me. It's NY style so the slices are humongous. And the ratio of cheese to sauce is perfect giving you a delicious gooey flavor on your palate. The pepperoni is my favorite and never fails to disappoint. The veggie was good and filling, but not my #1 preference. If you want delicious pizza that'll leave you craving more, come here!

Yelp
My husband and I discovered this place more than 13 years ago while I was in graduate school. We were in search for a thin crust pizza and the place had to be located somewhere between my apartment in LA and his parents house in Winnetka/Woodland Hills. We decided on Mulberry Street Pizzeria. To this day, their cheese pizza is still probably our favorite in SoCal. We've tried many New York-style pizza places to compare, but nothing really beats Mullberry's cheese pies for us. It's thin, slighty crispy, and the sauce is perfect with the thin but even layer of cheese. I also have to mention that their chili oil is very good. When we grab a pie to-go, I warm up the slices in the oven. I set the oven temp to 500F and once pre-heated, I throw in a few slices for just a couple of minutes (watch closely and when the cheese starts bubbling, pull the slices out). When dining in, we've never had a bad experience. Everyone is always friendly. Parking is metered, with some spots in the back. We've been to all locations, including the one in Las Vegas & they are all pretty consistent in my opinion.

Yelp
Pizza food is so good. It comes out hot and always fresh. Not cheap but so good that you forget the price when you open and eat. Great location and service is always good. Great neighborhood spot

Yelp
Driving home from a comedy show and I was craving pizza. I'd heard good things about Mulberry St and decided to check it out. WOW was it worth it! I'm from New York living in LA a while now and haven't had a slice this good in LA! The service was great, everyone was friendly and they let me use their employee bathroom - it was clean and served it's purpose. (I'm a germaphobe and needed to wash my hands lol) The ambience was perfect for a casual date night and has some NY vibes. I enjoyed seeing they have the New York Post Newspaper. We ordered multiple slices to try, but the cheese was superior to the rest! They were all good/ok but nothing compared to the plain Cheese - it hit the spot! Will definitely be going back.

Ken G.

Yelp
Would give them negative stars if it was an option. Ordered food, my card was charged, and the food was never delivered. Called the restaurant after one hour, and they claimed they never received my order. This place is a joke!

Robert G.

Yelp
So went there with my kids ordered a large pizza I specifically asked for a fresh pie to be made . I watched the employee put the old pizza from the case in the oven and then call for a fresh house pie . I didn't want to embarrass my kids that were visiting. I called back as soon as we left the employee told me Robert the manager was too busy to answer the phone cause he was making pizzas . He said call back . 3 days later after trying everyday I got through to him . Basically he called me a liar wtf what happened to customer service . Don't go to this place they lie and then call u a liar . Shame on you
google avatar

Josh S.

Yelp
A consistantly excellent representation of a NY pie. I've been a customer since they opened in Beverly Hills. Cathy (actress/owner) brought us our pie!
google avatar

Donna R.

Yelp
Absolutely DELICIOUS!! The sauce, the cheese and the TURKEY PEPPERONI ARE DELICIOUS! I don't eat pork so I get so excited for the turkey pepperoni!! So so so so good! Love it! Definitely come try!
google avatar

Danny M.

Yelp
A solid big slice of pizza for a reasonable price. The amount of pineapple the put on the slice was a bit much but still tasted good. I tried their cookies too but was less impressed since it was so hard.
google avatar

Mark B.

Yelp
Came here with a friend to just enjoy some pizza and catch up. One thing that really stood out to me is that the staff knew a lot of the patrons coming in. Even thought it is a local chain it gave a nice small hole-in-the-wall vibe to it. The menu was very straight forward and my friend and I decided to split a large pizza. We got half cheese and half pepperoni to keep it simple. The flavors are just like a solid NY slice. Overall solid experience here and would come back again.

Brian O.

Yelp
Great as always Been coming here off and on for years Best pizza in LA Friendly staff. Old school
google avatar

Mike R.

Yelp
Great flavor but make certain to ask that the pizza is "extra crispy". Otherwise you will find it a bit soggy. The small salad is enough for two people and it is good. I liked Maria's antipasto over the one here. Make sure to tip the guys in here. They are hard workers.
google avatar

Celine C.

Yelp
First time trying Mulberry Street Pizzeria. My friend ordered online and left for pickup, but texted upon arrival saying that they didn't even receive our order lol... Hawaiian pizza looked decent with lots of pineapple and ham, but I thought it tasted quite bland overall. Definitely not memorable. Garlic knots were kinda disappointing as well since they barely had any strong garlic flavoring... Flavors basically came from the marinara sauce on the side.
google avatar

Max D.

Yelp
Great New York slices of pizza with crust that is crispy but not burnt. Really appreciate the atmosphere and vibes of this place. The service was very fast and simple. Can't complain with the joint. A good go to quick slice pizza joint. The place eventually got busier with a lot of whole pizza pickups additionally!
google avatar

Kathy Z.

Yelp
Sorry, I don't see the hype. Maybe it's been slow and thus they aren't making fresh pizza as often, but my past three experiences during the pandemic have been pretty lackluster and bad. I ordered for delivery, I had someone come pick up, AND I ate on-site. Each time, the pizza was dry, undercooked or overdone, and just really not aesthetically pleasing. Someone remarked once that it was like "those middle school pizza parties where you got free pizza but it wasn't good pizza." I've included pics that illustrate that pretty well. People tell me things were different before and the other locations are doing better, but it sounds like the Encino location is going through a rough patch. Hopefully, things improve as they are located on a competitive part of Ventura Boulevard.
google avatar

Yelp
Love this spot and the pizza always hits the spot . The pizza staff is always funny. Give you good compliments. I'm in the garlic knots are delicious along with sometimes you sit down and eat inside. They have really good specials.
google avatar

Giulia M.

Yelp
Best pizza and ambience. I go with my son and we order a whole pie which they make for us. It comes out hot and delicious every time. Nice thin crust, great sauce and cheese. Pizza perfection! We also get meatballs and orange bang. Yum! The guys who work here are so polite and friendly.
google avatar

Lauren S.

Yelp
Really good. I thought the pizza was exactly as I hoped it would be with plentiful toppings- super tasty.
google avatar

Amanda P.

Yelp
The best pizza around! The people there are great and the pizza is made quickly. You can see the history throughout the place and it's an amazingly cool place to go for some delicious grub!
google avatar

ruth r.

Yelp
Was craving a slice of pizza so we stopped by to satisfy our cravings. My slice was a bit too greasy but the crust was good! Maybe I should've ordered a different slice of pizza other than pepperoni but I wasn't impressed or disappointed. My boyfriend seemed to enjoy his lasagna slice though!
google avatar

Valerie D.

Yelp
Loved Mulberry since my 80's clubbing days. Introduced to it by NY friend and first time ever having White Pizza. Having returned again after many many years, it's the same delicious pizza that I'd had before. Thin, crispy, bold, refined flavors. Quality ingredients. Charming ambiance, courteous service. Looking forward to many more years of classic Mulberry pizza!!
google avatar

Kostya P.

Yelp
Somebody wrote something about quality control - I agree This place is the Russian roulette of decent NY pizza. It's always a toss up as to what kind of pizza you're going to get, and for that reason Ive been out for a while I really want to order right now but I can't take that chance again
google avatar

Sabrina L.

Yelp
I love Mulberry Street Pizza. I first tried it when I worked in Beverly Hills, so I was pleased to see they have a couple of locations in The Valley! They have great prices, especially their large pizza and salad combo. I wasn't able to have pizza during my pregnancy, so my husband got me a couple of slices from Mulberry Street for dinner while I was at the hospital after I gave birth. Deeeelicious! As a native New Yorker, it's hard to find a good slice of NY pizza, but Mulberry Street fits the bill! Come on down and give it a shot - you won't regret it! Their online ordering system is super easy and they are very accessible via phone. I called ahead to place an order once, and my pickup took a little longer than I planned, so they whipped up a fresh, hot pie for me without any issues. Super friendly service and the food is always delicious. Parking is a breeze - metered parking on Ventura or free parking around the corner. They accept credit card.

Yelp
My go to pizza spot on a regular basis. Always consistent. Service always good. Good vibes...

Adam H.

Yelp
Best pizza in LA for NY style pizza. This is from a Bronx native. Crust is thin and crisp as it should. Mozzarella is not salty or greasy. Top quality cheese. Sauce is delicious, not too sweet. Perfect blend of sweet and acidity.
google avatar

Danny M.

Yelp
Pizza's competitive, so i don't give out five stars lightly. Can't remember exactly what pie I ordered, but know it had lots of meat, anchovies. Here's the thing. It's a NY style. diggin it. Huge pie, sauce is savory, and crust is just right, thin! Might be my newest favorite.

david r.

Yelp
Avoid this location. They messed up my order and then denied replacement. Called them next day about it but manager rudely said he couldn't help me. Go to Blaze Pizza the are much better anyway.

Dahlia B.

Yelp
Great atmosphere, efficient service, and delicious food. This is a little restaurant with authentic Italian food which reminds me of Little Italy in NY. I love this place.

Kathy A.

Yelp
I placed a phone order to pick up a pizza. They told me it would be ready in 15 minutes. I arrived there in eight minutes and paid $29 for the plain cheese pizza. I brought it home and it was cold. I should've checked sooner because the box didn't feel hot, I called them as I figured they decided to give me the no-show order instead of making me a fresh pizza. Not only was the employee (who called himself " one of the managers" but would not share his name) not sympathetic, he was very rude. I have had nothing but a positive experiences from the Sherman Oaks location . . I willl only order from Sherman Oaks for consistently good (and hot) pizza and good service.
google avatar

Marcus C.

Yelp
Pizza hits the spot! I like that they sell pizza by the slice (sometimes you just want one or two) - the slices are huge! The pizzeria is located on Ventura Blvd so parking is all street/metered. There are tables out front or you can eat inside. Fast and friendly service, good pizza - what's not to like?
google avatar

Daniel M.

Yelp
Ordered two slices and waited 30 mins for them to just forget. The slicers were already made and just needed to be warmed.
google avatar

M. N.

Yelp
Been coming here for years and I have no explanation for waiting this long to write a review. My husband is from the East coast and is a pizza snob. The pizza here is legit from the crust to the cheese and fresh toppings. And the staff is amazing, especially Robert. Highly recommend!!
google avatar

Shelby J.

Yelp
Ok so this was different than the other Mulberry Street Pizzeria that I went to several weeks ago. Apparently there are a few of these located on Ventura Blvd. Nothing negative, but the pizza just did not taste the same as the other pizzeria. The crust was very thin and barely any sauce or cheese. Just seemed like maybe slices that were sitting out for a while and they re-warmed them? Definitely didn't taste freshly made. I'm sure they are owned by the same people but maybe they just make the pizzas different at this location?? Take your chance, but I liked the other location better
google avatar

Jay G.

Yelp
One of my favorite slices in Beverly Hills. Always fun to go back there and grab a slice and sit on the patio and people watch.
google avatar

Caren R.

Yelp
So good. I was craving a slice of pizza and this slice was just perfect. It is thin crunchy crust with just enough sauce and cheese. I put sausage on it. It is a large slice. They have a few outdoor tables you can sit at. And the service was excellent. I'm coming back for more slices boys.
google avatar

Wana K.

Yelp
Best pizza in California! Great vibe, great service, would absolutely recommend. My husband and I used to frequent this place 20 years ago and now we bring our kids whenever we're back in the valley.
google avatar

Kristin A.

Yelp
I havent been here for several years and I regret that. After a very traffic filled drive home I was fiending for just a few solid slices of pizza and was glad Mulberry was still around to satiate that feeling. It's great that they have these specialty pizza types and you can get a SLICE and not HAVE to order a whole pie. Thin, flavorful, with a solid fold to them. It hit the spot.
google avatar

Ben D.

Yelp
One of my husband's favorites! He's from New York and says this pizza hits the spot. We like to order extra and freeze it for later and it tastes just as good. Thank you!
google avatar

Andy A.

Yelp
Hands down best slice of NY in California. I take this over Joe's all day everyday. Everything about this pizza is authentic from the dough to sauce and toppings. Service is excellent always fast and polite. Almost forgot to mention how good their Ceaser is only downside is I wish they had more locations. Oh well I guess I'll have to settle for what we got. If you ever want to have a slice of real NY pizza stop by to Mulberry street pizza you won't get disappointed. Oh and by the way tell them Andy sent you.

Gabe B.

Yelp
Best N.Y. pizza in the Valley. We pick up at the Encino location....... they've been consistently good over the years. It's nice & clean inside, good ambiance, nice staff, a pleasure to go there. As mentioned the slices are large, thin, crisp, with just the right amount of sauce and cheese. Service - always good. Ambiance - nice & clean, checkered tablecloths, cozy tables. All in all a pleasure to patronize.
google avatar

Rudolfo A.

Yelp
Great service and amazing store atmosphere. Gobbled down an entire box of chicken BBQ with the homie and it was straight gas.
google avatar

Michael R.

Yelp
Friends have been raving about this place for a long time, stop by for a couple slices, yes, they have slices. Incredible, close your eyes and you could be in New York City. Quality ingredients, fantastic, thin crust!
google avatar

Amy ..

Yelp
went to mulberry street pizza in Encino and purchased a large pie there was hair inside of my pizza wrapped inside of the crust it was disgusting we did not eat it when I called the establishment and told them they said sorry can't refund you and he was extremely rude the person who answered needs a attitude check this place is filthy and rude and needs to be closed down don't go here unless you want a hairy pizza
google avatar

Ivy U.

Yelp
Pizza is bomb. Period. Staff is hella cool and will suggest best options to order. They saved me all kinds of money! Didn't take long to prepare. And we wrote our names on the famous wall!
