The Best Irish Bars in Seattle | Eater Seattle

"A few years after opening as a smaller and divey pub in 2001, Mulleady’s moved across the street into what was then a dilapidated former grocery store, refurbishing it into the two-level pub it is today. Mulleady’s arguably establishes the upper limit for how refined an Irish pub can be while still being an Irish pub. It’s spacious yet cozy, with a fireplace and an almost ski lodge-like atmosphere. The menu includes carefully sourced ingredients (the bangers are from Beast and Cleaver, for instance). The wine selection is more extensive than a typical Irish pub (co-owner Sarah Zehner is an Advanced Sommelier), yet you can sip it at a well-worn Brunswick Empire bar. There’s successful equilibrium here: An Irish pub that is also kid-friendly, and a true dining destination. And if it still sounds too “elevated,” the men’s room includes the giant vintage urinal original owner Dave Mulleady salvaged from the old Orpheum Theater." - Mark DeJoy

There aren't enough stars. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxing at once. The staff are atttentive (but not too), charming and make you feel their sole concern is your happiness. Food's better than any pub food I've had. The atmo is relaxing and engaging at once. Small parties work better for the space. Plenty of stools at the bar and you can eat there if you like. All the tables are smallish. Better to find a party already there, than bring one because the seating works well for a few friends, and keeps the sound at a level conducive to conversation. There's no dancing but when you leave you'll dance your way home.

Trivia night Thursdays - so much fun. Unusual categories that needed everyone at the table to pitch in and answer. Servers were really pleasant. Atmosphere is inviting with dark wood interior. Good assortment of unique Irish foods. The bread pudding was really filling and delicious. The brownie in a pan was unfortunately burnt and not great. Lots of beers on tap including, of course, Guinness.

Wow! What a cool place! I have lived in Seattle my whole life and this felt like such a hidden gem! (Since I had never been!) So cozy, wonderful food and great vibes! 100% recommend and I will be back soon! It’s small businesses like this one that are the heart of the city!❤️

Okay so I come here pretty often. Often enough. The first time I came here I expected some kinda Irish pub and then thought “damn this is fancier than I thought”. And it’s true, it is. But get over it. You can wear a t-shirt here after work or a button up and bring a lady here on a date. The food is banging. So good. Super underrated. I talk to lots of people about this place and I’m always surprised that no one has been here. It’s super affordable for Seattle, especially for magnolia. The burger is 110% all the time. Sausage roll, shepherd’s pie, also sick. They make their own ketchup in house too, whaaaaaat. Also you get to have a sick dinner and not go to magnolia village and you also don’t have to cross the bridge to Ballard. Hell yeah.

Google
Great food selection for a pub/restaurant. Very relaxing and quiet atmosphere. I was here for a Sunday lunch at noon time with a friend and it was exceeding our expectation.Quiet enough to have a nice conversation. Shepherd pie arrived piping hot and the grilled salmon was delicious. The soup arrived lukewarm but the staffs took it back to kitchen to reheat. It seems to be a known neighborhood restaurant as i saw several families dining in as well I enjoyed my stay here. Bravo

Google
The best truffle fries! The kids had the happy hour burger and loved it. They offer cocktails, ciders, beer, wine, 21 and over upstairs only. My pics are of the upstairs. Neighborhood parking. Wait to be seated. Trivia on Tuesdays upstairs.

Google
What a magical evening! We sat on the patio, which was adorned with beautiful flower baskets. The owners were extremely friendly, as was the service staff. I enjoyed the best beer of my life, a sour from a little-known local brewery, as well as food that far exceeded expectations for a ‘pub.’ Crispy Brussels sprouts over romesco sauce, the fanciest grilled cheese, and a tender pretzel with fantastic cheese sauce. This is truly a gem of an establishment. I’ll definitely be back!

Yelp
Irish pubs (in the US) aren't my usual jam, but I went to Mulleady's for the first time upon invitation to a birthday gathering with folks who are neighborhood regulars. It was very busy on a weekend night, and we had a large group, so I will give our server a pass for forgetting my soda and not checking back since my Pub Burger arrived and was really good. Everyone enjoyed their food, especially the soft pretzel. The birthday guest was treated to a free dessert, so they do seem to appreciate and acknowledge their regulars. If you are in Magnolia looking for a pub grub and that particular vibe, it's worth a try.

Yelp
We had a nice evening on a charming patio with our dog. We stopped in for a cocktail and some appetizers. The pot of pickled veggies was dynamite. There was a full bar and the bartender knew how to make delicious cocktails. The warm pretzel was what you would expect. The mustard was good. The beer cheese was watery and bland. We also had soda bread which was great. All of the employees stopped by once with food, a drink, or to say hi to us and our dog. I'll for sure go back.

Yelp
Food good. Service good. Ambiance good. Just wanted more. More interaction with bartender since we were at the bar. Sadly won't go again

Yelp
The food was delicious! A + to the sausage roll, stew and Mac and cheese! Service was...very strange. Our server didn't really speak, she just came to the table and looked at us and waited for us to order. I asked for no onions on the Mac and cheese and it had a huge piece of onion on top when it arrived. It was easy to just pick off, but it was a basic request; I even asked if it was possible before ordering that way as I wasn't sure if the onions were mixed in or not. While we were still eating, she came over and started putting more place settings down. Not sure why. When the bill came, it had several items on it that we did not order. Turns out the table next to us had ordered them. We asked that they be removed and the guy said he would get our server to look at the bill, as well. She didn't come back. Another server(bartender? I had my back to the bar so didn't see) came and apologized and gave us our new check. The previous items had been removed, but more items we didn't order appeared. Also ordered by the table next to us. We had those removed as well, so the third version of our check was the correct one. I try to give others grace when things like this happen, as I know I've had days where it's next to impossible to work with the public while holding it together due to having a bad day, issues at home, or whatnot. It happens. Who knows what anyone is going through at any given time, right? It was still a bit frustrating, though. This is the only reason for the 4 stars. Otherwise, the food here is seriously delicious and the atmosphere with the fireplace is lovely. We will absolutely be back.

Yelp
Tucked away in the heart of Magnolia, this place is a hidden gem that promises to brighten your day. The cozy, inviting ambiance, casual interiors, and the charmingly adorned patio create a delightful setting that instantly lifts your spirits. Their happy hour offerings are an absolute steal, making it an excellent choice for budget-conscious diners. Their extensive beer selection complements their delectable pork sandwiches perfectly, offering a harmonious pairing that will tantalize your taste buds. And let's not forget about their french fries; they easily rank among the best in the city. These golden delights strike a harmonious balance, with just the right level of crispiness on the outside and a wonderfully moist interior. Simply put, this is a must-visit establishment, especially as Seattle's rainy season approaches. It's a place that will undoubtedly brighten your day and provide a warm, welcoming haven for those seeking comfort and great food.

Yelp
I love the different food options and the homey vibe this pub brings to the neighborhood. They have lots of drinks to choose from, some fascinating cocktails, and a solid food menu. There's even a nice patio that I sat at during a sunny winter day, it's even nicer during the summertime. The upstairs is great for catching games or hanging with a group, and they have a full bar service up there so you don't need to worry about anything. Just come on in and have a good time with friends around a great local restaurant. The new owners freshened everything up, from the food to the decor but everything still has character. I know folks miss the strong mac n cheese of days' past, but this one is still great! It's thick, cheesy, has a sneak attack of pickled red onion that elevate the dish and are just really lovely complements to the whole bowl. I am not normally one to order salads at restaurants because they tend to be the usual culprits, but these salads are worth coming out for. They are filling (today I could only get the pea salad but their house also has another tasty dressing), and unique. I've tried nearly everything on their menu and am always pleasantly surprised at the balance and flavor in everything I order. The food comes out hot and consistent. Do stop by and support your neighborhood pub when you can, you will enjoy yourself.

Yelp
I love the new owners here. they work the floor all the time and are lovely people. it's kid friendly early in the evening. atmosphere is wonderful and the bar tender has an epic beard and the cool friendly demeanor to suit. new owners have nicely spruced up the menu with some new options. mac and cheese always a must. guinness stew is fantastic! great local sausage. the burger is outstanding. our two little girls love it here. getting to draw pictures and have them put up in the kitchen is the sort of special touch we love! whether you live in the neighborhood or you are visiting seattle, this spot is worth the visit!

Yelp
This place is super cute and the food is delicious! I love the neighborhood atmosphere. The food is all made in house and quality. I know it is weird to say but their ketchup is the best I have ever had, its made from scratch and a definite must!

Yelp
So happy Mulleady's is back open, since COVID. Looks like it might be under new ownership? Anyways, great Irish pub within walking distance of home. Menu has definitely been reduced, but still has great Irish staples on the menu. Great place to hang out. Decent patio on sunny days, great fireplace inside, and the upstairs is very spacious. Tried to order take out last night, due to isolating since daycare has us at home because a Covid outbreak. Whenever we try to order online, website always says it's been turned off. That's fine, but don't offer online ordering if it's never available. Tired to call in order. No one ever picks up the phone. Husband went down there and placed an order. They were fast and efficient. The beet carrot salad was decent. But not enough carrots or beets. It was really just a plate of arugula, with a way too zesty horseradish sauce. Which in my case, cleared the sinuses... so I guess no complaints. Husband had the corn beef burger. Said it was amazing! Even had that zesty horseradish sauce on it as well. Irish soda bread was tasty. But what was the most delicious of all was the bread pudding! Had a side of whip cream and a delicious bourbon caramel sauce. Not really sure about the sauce, but that's how it tasted. Husband and I fought over who would finish the bread pudding. Anyways, great pub nestled back in the neighborhood!

Yelp
Had the shepherds pie and it was great! The ambience was very nice too. Dim lighting, cute decor. The servers was nice. She checked in on us the right amount of time and was kind. Great experience. However it was a bit pricey.

Yelp
We were craving an Irish/English breakfast and this place shows up on a google search. I, stupidly, didn't check the menu to see if that was an available option and was disappointed to find they didn't, but again that was entirely my fault. We ordered Guinness when we arrived and looked through the menu. Decent on tap selection, did felt like they were missing a classic Irish tap staple - Magners. The place is huge! They did not have the second floor open and had a small market section where you could purchase some local goods, European beers, and some fresh meats. Decent selection all around, but we didn't end up getting anything. We wanted the patio space, but unfortunately it was full up - too many people enjoying one of the last perfect summer days. We ordered the corned beef hash and the bangers and mash. The food was the absolute best Irish food I've had in Seattle by far. Every thing was perfect I'd love to try their entire menu! The corned beef had cabbage which made it feel a bit lighter than your typical beef. The bangers were to die for, so moist, and so fresh. The place was pretty busy and there was just a single server doing the drinks and food service. That said they were hustling! Didn't feel like we had poor service in any respect, but please get this person some help.

Yelp
OK, how did I not know about Mulleady's Irish Pub? HOW? This place is amazing. When writing reviews, I often wonder if my responses are affected by a confluence of external factors. What I mean is that Mulleady's was exactly right for the time I went there. We had just wrapped the final run of a musical production and we went here with the 'stage crew' at about 10pm on a Saturday night. Everything about Mulleady's was perfect. Airy, spacious, high ceilings, not too loud and a welcoming storefront. Attentive and helpful service, a menu that boggled my mind - I wanted to order too many things. Many beverages on tap - and all the food is prepared super fresh, hot and delicious. We got the poutine to start. Though I should probably put poutine in quotes because they've enhanced it and a Canadian citizen may not approve, but I APPROVE OF THIS POUTINE. Basically take fries and gravy (ok so far) but instead of cheese curds, use Beecher's cheddar chunks [for the win]. Then to take it to the next level: add braised pork. Even George Takei would say, "Oh My." I also got the Knocker's and Mash - again spun slightly differently with fries and a deep fried battered sausage. That sound you hear is "NOM NOM NOM." A healthy person in our got the Lentil & Quinoa salad. Well, good for them. Plus, they even ate it so it must have been good. Also nice looking but I didn't try: the Lemon Shrimp. Is this a 5-star place because it was exactly the right place at the right time for me? Well, yes - but I can't wait to test that theory by returning again. [and again. AND AGAIN.] I'm a fan!

Yelp
If every neighborhood had a place like Mulleady's the world would be a lot nicer. They are a public house in the best sense. It just feels homey. Everyone there acts like they are hosting you in their own home. The food is great. I do have some favorites, but I'll keep them to myself because you should try what looks good - it will be good. The menu is a little small these days and I kind of like that because it guarantees everything is fresh and made with care. The bar is beautiful and fully stocked. I've taken some picky drinkers there and the bartenders always mix up a winner. Back to the public house thing - this is serious business. You can get eggs, milk and stamps. And check this out - they always have a Notary Public on duty. For real, if you need something notarized you can go there, have a drink, and get your docs stamped. It's awesome. And they sell stamps. One corner is a tiny market with some food and sweets. This is new since Covid and has some fun things to try out. Great place for the whole family.

Yelp
We showed up at the tail end of Happy Hour. Despite it being a Friday night it was not busy with lots of open tables. It took 15 minutes to get a server. The service was so slow and the server was super off-putting and seemed mad that we asked about items that used to be on the menu under the prior ownership. The new menu is much smaller and underwhelming. They no longer have a big bottle selection. The service seemed incongruent with a restaurant positioning itself to be a neighborhood pub. We did not feel welcome but it still took over an hour to get two drinks and an app as the server took forever to take our order and later to run our card. With no parking, a generic menu, and bad service I don't know how long this spot can remain open. 2 stars instead of 1 because the app we ordered was fine.

Michael D.

Yelp
Fun pub that is intimate, friendly staff, good food and cold beer! Open after 3pm M-Th...earlier on Friday and weekends.

Oenomelej G.

Yelp
I'm sorry, so sorry, to mark what used to be a twice weekly pub for me. I think it changed hands over Covid - unfortunately the food and wine are nothing short of horrible now- I ordered a corned beef sandwich (from a menu about a third the size it used to be- no more Scot eggs) and it was nothing like a corn beef but more like a dry shredded beef sandwich with searingly spicy coleslaw- and they now charge for dipping sauce for your fries... I've been coming here for years before Covid but I'm not coming back anytime soon- New owners need to get some help with the food- I won't even start on the wine- just a big fail. The new staff was nice and helpful but not the wonderful friendly people that were here until recently. I'm really sorry about the review- just have to warn people about the changes that have ruined the place

Mary Lee D.

Yelp
My family and I (myself, husband, and our toddler) came for Sunday brunch which is family friendly. They were accommodating and friendly, and we felt super welcome! The service was excellent and the food was somehow even better. It was delicious and we had a great time. The ambiance is very chill and for a nice slow Sunday it was seriously perfect. Highly recommend!

Yelp
I have been going here for 12+ years, even took Christmas photos in here one year under the old management. I'm super sad with the new ownership's menu. The old mulleadys had a blue mac and cheese on the menu that I have not found anywhere else in the city. It was silky and pungent and super flavorful and rich. The new mulleadys replaced it with a different mac and cheese where the sauce is gritty and tastes 100% like mustard. I've been coming for so long for this one specific dish and I am so sad it's gone and I can never get it again.

Yelp
I came here as my girlfriend and I were visiting Seattle from SoCal and this pub was just a short walk away from our AirBNB. I was pleasantly surprised with how great our experience was for just a quick, last-minute search of bars/pubs in the area. We ended up getting seated super quickly and got a few drinks each. I've been to places where they definitely skimp on the alcohol or make you question if they even gave you any to begin with... Not here though, each drink was great and we loved the vibe here. Though we didn't try any of the entrees (which I still regret a little!!!), we had the Pot of Pickles to accompany our drinks and it was so good! Dare I say the best pickles we've had ever? You can definitely tell they were house-made and sweet yet tart and just the perfect accoutrement to some after-dinner drinks. Super glad we came here as the finale to our Seattle trip. If we are ever back in Washington, you can bet your sweet bippy we'll be back. Thanks, Mulleadys!

Yelp
This place is a treat. Come on down for almost any needs including a notary. It's got lots of pub food. I had the pork chop and my friends had the shepherds pie and all of us enjoyed our food. Good selection of beer. An updated list of wine. And plenty of cocktails. It's a great place to stop for a drink and hang for a while.

Kadyn E.

Yelp
I absolutely loved Mulleady's when it was under the previous ownership. The owner/chef was so kind, friendly, and welcoming. The food was great Irish fare and lots of good drinks to go around. Unfortunately, the ownership changed to someone else's hands. I've been to Mulleady's a few times since the new owners took over and each time I have been disappointed. The wait staff is not very friendly and seems annoyed to be serving tables. At first, I gave them the benefit of the doubt - it was newly reopened with a new menu and new staff - but after months of being under the new ownership the experience has been the same. Also, the food is overpriced for what you get. The best thing on the menu is the fries with truffle oil, everything else is mid. They need to live up to the expectations and dining experience of the old Mulleady's!

Yelp
You get the feeling that this place is definitely a local hangout. It's settled in a neighborhood instead of a busy street, and the staff is way too friendly to be working with tourists the entire time. The inside is great, with a opening to the second floor in the middle of the ceiling and a lot of work was done to make it feel like an authentic Irish pub. Came here with some friends after a round of golf at Interbay and was the perfect spot for a pint. Super friendly service and the food was good as well. We just got the poutine (what's not to like?!) and some pickled eggs. Exactly what we were looking for to accompany our drinks. I would recommend this spot if you're looking for some solid drinks, food, friendly service and to hang out for a while to enjoy everyone's company.

Yelp
Couldn't be more surprised by where this place is now at. On the latest menu update they removed all vegetarian options other than salads and 'small plates'. Being people that live close and have been here 40+ times we mentioned we were disappointed. When our food came, the fish and chips (I'm not vegetarian) were obviously old and fishy. Some of the worst I've had in my life. We quietly told them that we were not happy with the food. The manager came out, told us that we had been rude to the server and that while he would pay for our bill, to never come back. We were shocked. A place that cannot take basic criticism. You can SEE how bad the fish was (and smell it). I have never experienced anything like this, and if this is who Mulleady's now is, it is a very sad loss to this neighborhood.

Yelp
I love how the new owners have brought this place back to life. The bartenders are great and their small menu has everything I like in pub food. Really happy to go here again!

Yelp
This is a prime example of what the ubiquitous Irish American Pub should be: great drink, an inclusive, flexible atmosphere (quiet places, loud places, intimate places, public places all can be found at any given time) and a changing but always well-considered and executed menu. I just love having a neighborhood place I can always roll into and not have to worry about being disappointed. There's always good music on, always a new whiskey or scotch to try, usually a new seasonal menu item to savor. I don't sweat the changes, I look forward to them because of the solid, professional staff that greets me warmly and answers my questions about their daunting list of top-shelf whiskey. The people here have never left me hanging, never given me attitude I didn't deserve, and nearly always steered me right when navigating their menus. If you like burgers, you'll LOVE theirs. A pot of pickles and a scotch egg will give that whiskey some company. Your healthy friends will delight in the goat-and-green salad or kale salad with salmon, and the steak frites and shepherds pie are comforting go-to dishes for wet Seattle nights. Happy hours here are, actually, happy if you dig this dark woody charmer like I do. Highly recommended. Warning: parking requires effort and patience. Don't give up too easily!

Yelp
*Review based on a dessert order* One night craving for dessert I looked up spots that delivered desserts on Uber eats and found this pub. I have seen this place a couple of time on my way home and have heard my mentioning this spot as a good one. So i wasted no time in ordering a brownie with Jameson flavored ice cream . I was surprised when the order came in, it was a big brownie and there was like a pint of ice cream boxed with it. The brownie was decadent and uber delicious and the ice cream lasted me a good 4 days. This order was such a win for a sugar craving weakling like me. For $8 I enjoyed dessert for 4 days . Now that is a steal. I am definitely going to visit the place soon to try out their offerings.

Yelp
Happy Hour menu, 4-6pm. Every day!! Lunch and dinner menu has roasted root veggies, burgers, local wild salmon, beer battered fish & chips. Good service. Prices are sweet, most dear item on the menu is the Boneless Lamb at $22, which arrives with crusty bread and arugula salad. Sweet! Local quality ingredients culled from purveyors in Washington and Oregon. Try Jameson ice cream from Full Tilt Ice Cream, Seattle, in your Guinness. I know, sacrilege! Open till midnight on this lovely Spring Wednesday!

Yelp
Delish! And a very friendly vibe. This place is kind of a community center to the Magnolia area. Notaries and groceries inside. Reminds me of old taverns from the 1800s or something! The food is incredible through and through! The ketchup is freshly made and delicious! I typically don't eat much Western cuisine but I'm hooked.

Yelp
My neighborhood bar. Literally 4 houses down from my apartment. I finally got to try it out Friday night. My friends had just driven in from Portland and we were looking for a low key night. So we swung in here. For food, we ordered: - poutine fries - cheese board - bread pudding Everything we ordered was tasty! Loving how close this place is to me. My friend forgot her ID and we walked back to my place and came back within 5 min lol. Drinks were good too. We had ciders and beer. I need to come back to try there brunch. The inside vibe has an old rustic feel to it. Loving the vibes it gives.

Yelp
Amazing food, attentive bartender and did I mention amazing food ?! It's a family friendly menu with lot of items to choose from. (Shepherds pie, grilled cheese, burgers , LAMB burgers and bread pudding ! !!) reasonably Priced and clean bathrooms too! That make you look forward to the next visit just to try their drinks and amazing food ! I love the fireplace in the bar and it was cozy enough for a book reading. Being a book nerd , I felt super at home and didn't feel bad one bit for bringing a book because they also have a little book library outside the door and books lined along the bar wall. I look forward to returning and bringing some people with me to share the fun experience and delicious food !

Casey E.

Yelp
The best Irish (gastro)pub in Seattle. I've been to many, and nothing comes close food-wise. The bleu cheese mac n cheese is the best mac n cheese that I've ever had. The shepherds pie is incredible, too. The food is a bit on the pricey side, but it's completely worth it, and the alcohol prices are standard. Food prices definitely reflect the high quality ingredients. Sadly we can't eat here as often as we'd like, but that won't stop us from having a pint or two when we're in the mood.

Yelp
Best brunch spot. Try the Traditional English breakfast and prepare to be wowed. Also don't skip the cinnamon roll or the Boxty. Don't know what a Boxty is? I want you to come try it....that beats a textbook definition any day. I've also come for dinner, a beer at the bar, and I've ordered their burger to-go. Nothing has ever disappointed. Service is slow. Consider yourself warned. I always order my to-go at least 45 minutes before I actually want it or I find myself waiting at the bar for over half an hour. The pub is meant to be a place to hang. There's a great fireplace, the seating is comfortable and the atmosphere reminds me of small neighborhood pubs I've visited in the UK.

Yelp
Casual, friendly, homey feel, and games to boot! yes, I am a fan, and I will be returning again and again. 1. There is a small outside seating area for those nice days 2. Skittles game(who doesn't want to throw small wheels of "cheese" and knock down some pins?) and darts upstairs, in addition to a stash of board games in the corner 3. Accommodating and friendly bartender 4. Love the pickle varieties (including pickled red pepper strips and apples!), and the food was good to share. We got a pretzel, poutine, and fish and chips which were decent, good complements to the beer. Fish & chips: hearty flakey pieces of fish in the fish and chips (a bit on the greasy side but has a nice crisp) poutine: I was missing the gooey cheese and salt. However, it did come with a nice portion of pork with it.

New owners kept everything that I think is wonderful about Mulleadys, the traditional bar and authentic Irish pub, with a refresh to every detail so it shines like new again. The food is better than ever before, quality ingredients, good wines, great menu, everything I've tried has been delicious. Always an amazing meal, cozy and friendly place...my new favorite Seattle pub.

Yelp
Jorge is hands down the most down to earth, approachable, and kind bar tenders/ servers, not only at Mulleadys, but also across several of Seattle bars and restaurants nearby. Simple gestures like asking for your name, great eye contact, shaking hands, to even offering items complimentary just because, are just some of the reasons that you should check this place out. Jorge also asked me my music interests and then proceeded to close down the bar with a j cole and kendrick Lamar sing a long session. Yeah no big deal. Any-who just some of the dope memories from just a couple visits. Repeat customer forever as long as Jorge is there! Side note : Recommend the truffle fries with aioli and a side of cheese sauce. The beet hummus. The cauliflower with cheese and the lovely house Pinot Grigio.

Yelp
This place is pretty neat - not only is it an Irish bar and restaurant, the owner also turned it into a certified notary when he found that there were not many notaries in the Seattle area. In addition, on the 1st and 15th of every month, the bar takes whiskey from whiskey barrels that have been aged 40+ years for you to try. You don't always get the opportunity to get small tastes of quality, expensive whiskey! The bartender/(owner?) was very friendly and answered my friend and I's numerous questions about the place. They have little silver plaques of their regulars' names in numerous of their booths. Hospitality and drinks were great, however, only 3-stars because the food was decent. I had the truffle fries and they could have used more truffle... They almost just tasted like normal fries with extra oil. Other downfall was my water glass had fresh ketchup smeared on the top and inside of my water glass, so either the bartender was just handling someone else's food or the dishwasher didn't do a good job.

Yelp
Pickles - ok lots of carrots.. the cucumber pickles are great though Plan B burger - good, almost taste like beef/pork combination; $2 up-charge for salad instead of fries, which is just a couple spoons of spring mix. Drinks - decent whisky selection, average price, not great deals

Yelp
Wanted to try this place hoping for comfort food and authentic Irish Cuisine. Unfortunately we won't be returning. Our first mistake was going upstairs where the bartender was also the server. Our drinks came out and since we had trouble loading the menu from the QR code we weren't quite ready to order our food. He left and ignored us for 20 minutes. Other people were seated and even got appetizers before he came back to take our order. We ordered Poutine as an app, Shepherds Pie and the Pork Shank. We never got the Poutine as an app instead it came out with our meal almost 50 minutes later. When we went to try the Poutine it was cold and the meat on top was flavorless and bland. Hoping the entrees would be good (they were actually hot) we dug in. First of all the Shepherds pie is $22 but the portion was minimal. I wasn't expecting Cheesecake Factory size but I was expecting more than a few scoops of the mixture over some very bland potato mash mix on top. The Pork Shank was even worse. While it was warm it had some cold spots and was absolutely bland and flavorless. The bar tender didn't even apologize for the cold food and he begrudgingly took it off our bill. Waiting over 50 minutes and paying just over $70 for cold bland food was not my idea of a good night spent patronizing a local business.

Yelp
Best fries ever! House made ketchup spanks! Garlic aioli is awesome. The owner is super cool! Will be making this our go to bar! Drinks are stellar!

Yelp
Nice Irish pub. These have been hard to come by as many Irish places have closed. I enjoyed this spot for dinner. They also have daily happy hour which is a plus. They have a general selection of local beers. For dinner I had the shepherds pie, it had lamb in it and it was very tasty and filling. It also came with a salad. They also had Mac n cheese which was yummy with bacon added. The roast chicken was also a hit at our table. They have a few other Irish things on the menu. The inside definitely reminded me of an authentic Irish pub, it was cozy and they also had an upstairs area with a bar. It was a good stop, I would recommend it.

Yelp
Really impressed with this spot! We stopped in about a month ago for a drink. Sat at the bar, bartender was happy to answer any questions about the menu (that was adorably bound in a classic hard cover book BTW). My fiancé noticed the pickled eggs behind the counter and we couldn't decide between the scotch deviled egg, the bartender was able to do 1 of each to try both! And YUM. A lot of the other items looked delicious but we had just come from dinner so we weren't very hungry. Everyone was really friendly and the place had a good vibe. Fast forward to a few days ago and we ordered To Go from Uber Eats. Got the BLT and more of the freaking delicious scotch deviled eggs. Was a little nervous because you never know how long the food has been sitting or what happens in transport (which I know is a risk with uber eats and not necessarily the restaurant's fault) but it was the best food delivery ever!! Food still warm. And to top it off they put a HAND WRITTEN NOTE thanking me for my business and an offer for free fries the next time I come into the restaurant. Really impressed and recommend this establishment!

Yelp
Good drinks, small sizes (the Aviation I ordered had the volume of 2 shot glasses), inaccurate prices and sometimes mobbed with customers. Don't expect to pay the $7 price listed for an Aviation, I paid $9 plus tax. Prompt service for drinks, but food takes 20+ minutes when they are slammed (which is understandable).

Yelp
This place is an amazing hidden neighborhood spot. Great selection of tap beers and a sampler option for those of us who can't decide or want a little of everything. They also have a truly impressive scotch and whiskey selection, with flights, boilermakers, and a twice a month special where customers can try 1 oz of a Top Shelf spirit AT COST. The fun doesn't stop with the drinks though, mulleady's has an upstairs w pool, TVs, outdoor pet friendly seating, and really great food with tons of Gluten Free options.

Yelp
This review is specifically for the second level party area. I attended a Yelp Elite event at this bar, and the upper level was the perfect space for a private event. I would definitely consider this bar for a birthday party, work happy hour, or other celebration. The bartender was also very friendly and efficient. Their Housemade Cheese Spread is DELICIOUS!! You have to park on the street, which can be a bit tricky because the bar is surrounded by narrow residential roads. Based on the cheese spread, I'm excited to return to try other dishes!

Yelp
This place is fantastic! Great service, great food and COVID safe atmosphere. The Irish coffee was the best I have ever had. We also had the Poutine, Shepard's pie, and corn beef hash (my fav), all was delicious. Seriously stoked we randomly walked in here. Henry was efficient and polite. Will recommend and come back.

Yelp
I can't give Mulleady's 5 stars because of the slow and inattentive service we received, but I sill 100% recommend a visit if for only one reason. Fries. For the past few years restaurants have taken it upon themselves to offer fries with absolutely every dish. I really try not to order fries, not caring to eat something bland and irrelevant. With one trip to Mulleady's, all of that has changed. The fries here are out of this world. Fresh, seasoned, the perfect texture and temperature. Holy cow I now understand that fries can be a meal in and of themselves. The ketchup they serve is weird, but don't feel bad about discarding it and just eating the fries by themselves. In case I didn't make myself clear: Go to Mulleady's. Order the fries.

Yelp
Good lord, the service has been consistently bad for 2 years now, why do I keep going back?! Visited with a friend for lunch on a Wednesday, my Shepard's pie was ketchup meat and frozen vegetables. My friend had a burger that, if were to be put down, could not be picked back up without self-destructing. Taste was a 2 out of 5, service was slow and uninterested. I bet they have lots of turnover in staffing.

Yelp
Quite a great place to go to after a long day. Amazing food! Check out my pics from this place. We'll definitely come back.
