Love this place and the atmosphere with the classic video games and big sound system, and the gourmet pizza is fire! Plus Munchie is a real dog! What more do you need?

Place is so unprofessional… there’s always chaos at the door because the security and ticket masters never know what they are doing… there was a fight that broke out outside between security and an employee and no one did anything to insure the safety of the crowd and then they continued to let the aftermath of blood and glass sit on the sidewalk outside… people pay too much for this place for there to be problems every weekend

Super Fun, Great Food, Awesome and Friendly Staff.... Can't wait to visit again!!!

Google
Sucks, very rude and hate the younger crowds. 10 min after we payed 60$ to get in we where thrown out because we where at the bar dancing and never got told why we had to go.

I was visiting Fort Lauderdale with my girlfriends and came across this place to go out. It’s a new and upcoming spot. It’s the perfect combo of a good time and good food. I had so much fun. There’s big TV screens for sports games which is a plus! My guy friends would love it here. 10/10 definitely will be going back. Really good spot to meet people. It’s the kind of place you can go by yourself and leave with a new circle of friends.

if you are a foreigner (not from the USA) do not go to this place, this place does not even deserve one star, the security guards were the worst, they disrespected me, they pushed me for being from another country, they DISCRIMINATED AGAINST ME for having another passport... having the bracelet paid for, they made me wait in line for 20 minutes to get to the door and simply kick me out without saying the reason just by looking at my passport and guess what? The police said they could not do anything and that I better not return to the place... enjoy the other beautiful places in the area because there you will lose your money and have a bad time on your vacation Very weird, even though I entered earlier when there weren't many people and then when I returned all this happened with the same guard who appears in one of the photos in other comments.

Yelp
Very good pizza. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Prices are also quite reasonable.

Yelp
This is a large dimly lit dance club with a strong emphasis on the Pizza. It was an odd combo so we went inside to find out the details. Met with the bartender Mike who was friendly and heavily poured the wife a vodka cocktail then we played beer pong at a table that was already set up. Good techno music playing. The bar was dead empty and nervous about ordering pizza here. A couple families sitting at the front patio, and noticed their little kids running around inside which was annoying. They do offer a bottle service section against the side wall with prices varying from $50 - $550 a bottle. There was a second bar upstairs with arcade games. Mike verified that the bar gets very busy late on weekend nights and directed toward college age customers. The bathroom was clean but required a face lift and had very cool cracked cement flooring.

Yelp
I ordered online and the order was delivered quickly. I'll make this quick. Skip the pizza and get the wings. I ordered the Korean wings and a margarita pizza. The wings were off the charts amazing. No sloppy sauce, no super sweet taste and the consistency was perfect. A perfect crunch with tender insides. The pizza was meh. I found my wing place!

Yelp
Service was ok and the pizza was ok. We went because of the BOGO offer from Facebook. Pizzas are $15-18. One person can eat a whole pizza. We were the only customers on a Sunday at 5:30pm. The arcade games were removed to refinish the floors when we visited. There is on-street metered parking. The dough didn't taste homemade. They put a lot of toppings on the pizza. They have ostrich sausage! The pizza bread sticks were nothing impressive. The BOGO OFFER wasn't correctly issued, so I had to email to get the offer a few days later. The staff hadn't been trained on how to give the BOGO credit. I was happy they did issue the credit to my credit card. Overall, there are many better pizza options in the area and I won't return.

Yelp
We saw a post that it was the grand opening and if you bring a dog, pizza was free from 5-8. Sounded like fun so we packed up the pup and headed to Himmershee. We were greeted at the door with slices of the best margarita pizza I can remember this side of Itay. The crust is thin and perfectly crunchy. Everyone thinks it's the water that is the secret, it's not, it's the flour and they import theirs from Italy (I asked). We ordered beer on tap, sat at the bar (the whole front is open air) and tried every just about every kind of pizza they had, met a bunch of nice people, listened to live music, and finished the evening with a dessert pizza (a design your owns strawberry/coconut/marshmallow/Nutella). We had fun, the dog had fun, the food was great. What more can you ask? Live music on the weekends and they even make special pizzas for dogs. Oh, the official owner is a dog and he spent the entire time we were there going from group to group checking on everyone in his please don't feed the dog t-shirt. Perfect! Five stars!

Yelp
Attempted to go at 745 on a Sunday night and it's locked/dark. Hours say it's open til midnight.

Yelp
If you haven't been to Munchie's Pizza Club yet, make Munchie's your next Pizza you order! I am vegan and the pizza pictured below is vegan too, but Munchie's is NOT vegan, just very vegan friendly, they are also dog friendly (they have dog pizzas and dogs are welcome) and they are very kid friendly too, with video game themed pizzas on the menu that are cleverly named as well as video game themed decorations and don't forget the free video games upstairs and downstairs for the kids to play while you wait for the food. As it gets later (after 10pm) Munchie's does bring in entertainment and does turn into an adult playground with dance music and big screen TV's for the games, as they have a full bar as well. Munchie's slogan is "the best pizza in the galaxy" and this is achieved in part by head chef Todd Erickson's secret crust that is a 24 hour fermented crust made with imported Italian flour as well as his creative recipes and toppings, also worth mentioning he recently beat Bobby Flay on a food network show before creating this menu. The pizza I got was a vegan white pizza made with the creamiest of almond based ricotta cheese, broccoli rabe, asparagus, zucchini and a pesto pistachio, all set on the proprietary crust to truly create the best vegan (or non vegan) pizza in the galaxy. Munchie's is in downtown Fort Lauderdale in the old Tarpon Bend location at 200 sw 2nd street and has delivery supported by most of the major apps. But for me dining in was so much fun, I can't wait to go back soon!

Yelp
Our server was simply amazing. She was the only person on staff. My team sat outside and she took amazing care of us. It was above and beyond to say the least. Jenny was the absolute best.

Suzanna E.

Yelp
Outstanding surprise next to the inter-coastal in downtown Ft. Lauderdale. Spacious welcoming atmosphere with outstanding service and delicious pizza. I tried their ostrich and their four cheese pizzas. The service was impeccable thank you Dan! Their drinks were just as amazing mango ale and white ale that I definitely don't remember trying before I came here. I highly recommend this restaurant! So yummy!

Dana M.

Yelp
We ended up here because the wait at PizzaCraft (2 blocks over) was 35 minutes. So we walked down to Munchie's at about 7 pm. Upon arrival, it was unclear whether this place was a club, a bar, or a pizza joint. We took a seat at the bar and looked over the menu. They've got a pretty extensive menu for a place whose business is only partially serving food. I ordered a margarita, a build-your-own pepperoni and mushroom pizza, and cheesy bread. The drinks were delicious and strong and not incredibly expensive, which is surprising for this area! The cheesy bread was also really good. However, the pizza was underwhelming. Their mushrooms are soaked in balsamic or roasted in some strange way, so they weren't the best on the pizza.

Minda L.

Yelp
We went because there was a BOGO offer and we wanted to try a new place. It has a prime location on Riverfront. We expected arcade games and fun, but they had none of that. The floors were really sticky. The service was okay but we were largely ignored (& the only people in the restaurant). The garlic bread was okay. All the pizza is personal sized. The Ostrich pizza was over cooked and the crust was tough. It was $18, so extremely pricey for the portion size. The Veggie pizza with pepperoni added was decent. They had difficulty with the BOGO promotion. The waitress has you click some information on the social media account and they adds in his/her code. Then you must type in the amount you paid....so the promotion is pretty convoluted. The waitress is then supposed to subtract it from your bill. ****this is where they made a mistake. Apparently, they were told that it somehow happened automatically once you left. It does not. I sent them a FB message the next day. No response. Then 4 days later. No response. The I sent a message on IG 4 day's later. No response. I called the restaurant but they don't accept calls. I emailed, and finally got a response. It's been 9 days since I went, and I finally had a refund added to my credit card.

Yelp
SCAM CITY Menu says the pizza that I was ordering was $19.90. IDK what munchies pizza thinks that means, but to the rest of the world that means it costs $19.90. Bartender says: it'll be $25 before tax Me: the menu says it only costs $19.90 *bartender says nothing and goes over to the computer* Bartender: best I can do is $21 before tax and that's with the best discount I can give you Not sure how I teleported from munchies pizza to a scene from pawn stars, yet here we are. Haggling for the price of a pizza. DO NOT LET THEM SCAM YOU

Yelp
i absolutely HATE leaving bad reviews, as i am a huge supporter of small businesses in and around my community, however, i feel like this must be made known because there is something terribly wrong here. let me just first start by saying if youre on the fence about ordering from this place, and want to try it for the first time, then you probably should NOT order from here, and here's my experience for why you shouldn't. i had ordered a nutella pizza on uber eats. then, AFTER i placed the order (stupidly), i was reading the reviews about the food being awful, inedible, and the theory that people were being paid to leave good reviews. i was thinking "crap maybe i should cancel the order", but i said "no, let me try it out, im really in the mood for nutella pizza" (lol). it came quickly, probably because i live about 8 mins down the road, but, upon opening the box, i saw small black pieces underneath this marshmallow fluff. i thought to myself "what is that ?". i picked it up, lo and behold, it was graham cracker pieces !!! BLACK PIECES ! then, upon further inspection, i realized the long sticks of black stuff was burnt nutella !!! BLACK STICKS ! i immediately knew those yelp reviews were accurate and kicked myself. trying to swallow my pride, pun intended, i reluctantly ripped off a piece of pizza, which didnt come off easy, and tried to bite it. key word 'tried'. it literally didnt budge between my teeth, and i had to pull it out if my mouth, without any crust, only burnt toppings. absolutely awful. the real problem here is not that they burnt the pizza and the chef/cook needs to be retrained. the problem is that they knew the pizza was burnt and had the audacity to send it to my house anyway. what ?! if i was the business owner i would be absolutely embarrassed that i was allowing this to leave my door. yes, everyone can make a mistake or two. but apparently they sold awful product items to many other multiple people who have left bad reviews as well. please note, i am usually pretty objective when ordering from places, and discerning fake reviews from real ones. some times its an obvious disgruntled ex employee or maybe a competing restaurant. please trust i have no motive for leaving this bad review other than to warn people NOT to waste your money at this place. trust the reviews ! see the pics !

Yelp
For starters I have not gone to second street since before New Years, decided to go exploring and stumbled upon this amazing place, when walking in I couldn't help but notice the huge projectors playing retro arcade games all over the wall and the lineup of actual arcade games to play. After the amazement wore off (not really) I approached the bar and was greeted by mike, very friendly, I asked him about the spot if I could go for a little tour of the building and he told me a little bit about the place and said he'll ya check it out and after going to the upstairs balcony with beer pong and Jenga I was sold. Very awesome place, can't wait to see what it's like at night! Ps the pizza is so good!!

Louis M.

Yelp
Service is first class from Jenny! Pizza great. Beer cold. Shots fantastic. But have you ever had a server, Jenny, run to a store for you in order to make a mojito!?!? No? Well we have...thank you!

Amber S.

Yelp
We ordered last night via Uber eats - I haven't been to this location in person (RIP Tarpon Bend), and am solely commenting on the food. Maybe the ambiance and games make up for the sub-par pizza? I got the Florentine, and honestly it tastes exactly like the Publix thin-crust Florentine which you can get in the freezer section for a lot less than $20. This descriptions way oversell the product - they over hype how fancy their crust is, and if there was ricotta on this pie it was spread incredibly thin. Would I totally devour one of these after a night of dancing and drinking? The answer is YES, but I will not be returning for a regular dinner.

Joseph D.

Yelp
Quite possibly the worst pizza I've ever had. They advertise as "f***king good pizza" on the delivery apps, they should change it to "inedible f****ing pizza" No joke, the worst pizza I've ever attempted to eat. Shameful.

Sydney F.

Yelp
Munchies is super fun even on a Wednesday night!! Pizza is good, drinks are great, and the staff is awesome. Highly recommend!

Anthony B.

Yelp
This is my favorite place in Fort Lauderdale. Pizza is amazing. Doesn't leave your drink empty All 3 pizzas were amazing

Daniel R.

Yelp
Muchies needs to try harder if it wants to claim that it's a pizza club. It had all the makings of really bad pizza, over cooked, hard crust and we couldn't distinguish ingredients from one pizza comparing with another except for the meat lovers. Now lets take in the price to quality formula and ladies and gents we have a loser. You can do much, much better at Blaze or any of the commercial pizza places. People that are rating this place high on the list clearly don't know what pizza should taste like or were paid by the establishment for a good comment. I went with a group of friends and they said the wings were equally not impressive. Drinks didn't fare much better as some were so-so in quality while others were just watered down abominations. Service was a touch slow but at least we were warned that there was a shortage of staff. Please improve your quality now.

Shalom W.

Yelp
Delicious and great atmosphere! I have been going to Munchies since they opened and find the staff and atmosphere to be only matched by the delicious food that they put out! On top of that they so kindly donated 20 pizzas to a event that we did recently for the Tortuga /theCHIVE volunteers to raise money for the children's diagnostic and treatment Center they are definitely a great company and I really enjoy going to their place of business!

Kayla R.

Yelp
Great late night bar! Good specials, good pizza! Karaoke on Wednesday's! Definitely a place to watch a game.

Lanie V.

Yelp
THE PIZZA IS AMAZING!!!! We can't thank you enough for your support during Tortuga Music Festival, contributing 20 pizza pies (pepperoni and cheese) to our volunteers. Also, Holly and John for making them fresh that morning and delivering them to the beach was a lifesaver... You went over and above!!!!! Everyone loved the pizza! The group of people who volunteered their time to assist in raising money for the Children's Diagnostic Center of Fort Lauderdale at our booth, myself included, are grateful for you and your gracious, delicious contribution! I've been to Munchie's Pizza many times and always enjoy myself!

Libby R.

Yelp
Stopped by this open air pizza joint with a bit of 80's neon nostalgia after Jazz Brunch looking for a pet friendly place to watch football. What a great find!!! The puppies were thrilled with their gluten free Peanut butter and bacon pizza. (Honestly, I ate a piece for quality assurance and it was very good.) The server came over with a water bowl for the puppies almost immediately... they were very grateful. The humans in the group shared a pepperoni and onion pizza which got slightly delayed... but, the manager, pizza cook and waitress all came over to apologize and make sure we were taken care of. They have vintage video games, every football game, and great 80's and 90 music. We will definitely be back!

Zandrea P.

Yelp
Whoa. This pizza is literally the best pizza I've ever had. It's so unique and delicious. The Yoshi Tuscan Breakfast Egg Pizza is my absolute favorite! They also have smores pizza for dessert and dog pizza! They've only been open a couple of days but I've been back twice already. I I love the 80's vibe too with all the vintage arcade games. The music is great and they have really large projection screens on the walls, which is perfect for watching football. I'm obsessed!!!

Maddie W.

Yelp
they told us that's there was still pizza and we got inside at 11:30 and they closed the kitchen 30 mins early and only told us after we paid $20 to get inside. honestly so dissapointed and mad that we had to pay for nothing

Jacquelyn G.

Yelp
Went to my Munchies with the whole family the other night, and sat outside bc you know, Covid. It brought back so much nostalgia not only since it's the same location as Tarpon Bend where I spent many happy hours back in the day, but because of its thematic design and menu of an 80's style arcade. Now onto the food and service-- I love pizza!! The options were amazing which forced me to try at least 4 pies. All delicious, but standouts were the ones w truffle and garlic and the vegan pie. The house beer was tasty too, even though I'm not a huge beer drinker but needed that refreshing taste in the Ft lauderdale heat. You must try the Cesar salad too! Our server was super attentive and able to accommodate a large party of toddlers to grandparents with ease. Will go again soon, and possibly sit at the upstairs balcony to enjoy the vista.

Chaotic C.

Yelp
Banging service, friendly service, frosty beer and very delicious pizza. The ambiance is really nice and chill. Enjoying my time here

Anonymous H.

Yelp
Pizza is terrible Service and management sucks. I want a total refund. Do not go here!

Shirley P.

Yelp
Delicious pizza and super drinks. It is definitely a fun atmosphere. Very hip. Highly recommend.

Loni P.

Yelp
Checked out the newest pizza place in Ft Lauderdale and being from NYC I am a pizza SNOB, and I have to say I LOVED this place. The chef was from an amazing restaurant in South Beach that I used to go to all the time. The vegan pizza was so good and then just the margarita made me almost feel like I was home again!

Lindsey M.

Yelp
Honestly one the worst pizzas I've ever had. Lacked flavor, crust is terrible. Not sure what pizza club this is, but don't join.

Sean R.

Yelp
This place is awesome!!! Just what is needed, old school video games, giant projection TVs for sports, friendly staff (who are very attentive to you while you are eating and drinking at the tables! Now, the pizza!!! Holy Moly! We order several pies! The meat lovers was amazing! So Flavorful!!! The Margherita Pizza was delicious! Munchies Florentine Dream!!! White Pizza!!! Soooo, good! I'm going back this weekend to watch the playoffs and eat another one of these, by far my favorite pizza!!!

T P.

Yelp
I moved here after three years living in Italy and have been searching for an authentic thin crust pizza...bam!!! Look no further. The puttanesca pizza was insane. Literally the nest pizza I've had outside Italy - Simply incredible. And the atmosphere is so cool. Video games, massive projection system with the game on. I'll be back!

Don J.

Yelp
Best place to go real family vibe and they have the best pizza also I love the karaoke

Bar R.

Yelp
I was invited to taste their pizza and it was absolutely delicious. I look forward to coming by again soon. They have vegan pizza with actual vegan cheese. Their menu is really very good, pizza and cocktails , both. Casual but nice, retro arcade too!

Esther M.

Yelp
What a discovery!!! We had the best pizza tonight. I had not had pizza in years since I don't eat dairy or gluten, so I had The Best Vegan Pizza in the Galaxy, literally that's the name of it, and it lives up to its name! I had it over a gluten free crust that was really crunchy and soft at the same time, the best gf crust so far. I added prosciutto (since I'm not really vegan, just dairy-less) It was covered in veggies, and dairy free delicious vegan almond cheese. I was so satisfied that I was not envious of my partner's Putanesca, which actually smelled and looked great.

Alan S.

Yelp
Enjoyed the veggie pizza & my favorite was the Mario meat pizza Started with Italian & Cesar wedge salads which were unique & tasty. Service was excellent. Attended a special event.

Jessica D.

Yelp
The new fun place downtown!! Don't sleep on this new bar! It's fun! Has Karaoke beer pong don't miss out! Great pizza for those late night drinks! Definitely be back!

Yosleidi M.

Yelp
Great place, food, drinks, and arcades staff really nice....bar tender Jessica is amazing!!

Laura W.

Yelp
The new concept here is fun and playful 80s themed! They have lots of awesome specialty pizzas!! Best pizza on 2nd street for sure! The bartender Jess was great!

Ady B.

Yelp
Without a doubt Best pizza ever, incredible selection, Quality ingredients. I wet with my husband and ordered the vegan pizza and duck pizza excellent choices Will return and take out

Jewel Q.

Yelp
Came for the first time and love it!! The Hawaiian pizza is delicious and the beer is cold. Happy hour so beer was half off and so were the 80's pizzas. Found out the are very dog friendly and even have dog pizzas so will definitely be coming back with my pup!!

Hihelloitsm E.

Yelp
This place sucks! Don't go here beware. They don't care about customers at all!!!!!!!!!!

Jennifer B.

Yelp
Way exceeded our expectations. We went in with a large group to eat dinner after ax throwing across the street. It was my sons birthday so we had a lot of kids with us. These guys at Munchies set up games for us (corn hole, pong game, jenga). They had free arcade games upstairs. And to top it all off they brought out a sweet pizza with sparklers to take the birthday celebration to the next level. The food was good. Awesome Korean barbecue wings. The salad was fresh. Highly recommend this place and more so these hosts were AMAZING. This would be a great place to have a birthday party for a kid or an adult. We had a BLAST!

Lauren W.

Yelp
Such a good restaurant that needs more attention for its pizza. You can get a standard pizza or something crazy like ostrich or alligator.

Paul S.

Yelp
Munchies pizza? More like cheaters chateaux. Where to begin? We got hustled to go into this bar with a free drink, but they never delivered on that promise. In an effort to get some of our money, security challenged us to a game of pong. They cheated and hustled us. Never coming back here again. And the pizza sucks!

Heather S.

Yelp
Cold and burnt. Also delivery guy was too lazy to come up to my hotel room so I had to go downstairs. Didn't I pay for delivery??

E H.

Yelp
Great concept, but the majority of the game are broken. Do NOT go!!! And MS Pac-Man eats your quarters without game play...totally sucks. What a waste of time. The owner should be embarrassed of this place. Maybe day one was a hit and then decided to let the place go down hill. It's old and musky upstairs. Do yourself a favor and do go, unless you're used to diss appointment. Food was ok, for the price of the small pizza, go to Luigis for the same price and bigger sizes. I spent $62 and left hungry. If the games worked I would tolerate the high prices for small portions. The staff was super friendly and treated us great. Too bad the management let this concept go down the drain. It was my first and last time coming here, why the 3 patrons stayed is beyond me. Maybe it's time for a business model change, maybe karaoke is the answer.
