I called Munchies dispensary to report that my purchased eighth was underweight. The staff dismissed my concern, saying that’s how eighths come and that they don’t even weigh them. When I asked about the tamper-evident seal, they at first claimed it was unbroken, but when I noted it came off too easily "meaning it had been removed and put back" they admitted they break the seal themselves.
Adding to that, when I asked if they had pure or mostly indica strains and about their ratios, the staff seemed annoyed and couldn’t answer simple questions. They took their frustration out on me, which was unprofessional.
I insisted on speaking to a manager, but the staff and manager got annoyed when I said I wouldn’t return to the dispensary just to have them weigh the product again.
The eighth weighed only 2.82 grams instead of the standard 3.5+, which is unacceptable. This entire experience showed poor product knowledge, rude customer service, and dismissive attitudes. If a dispensary sells an eighth, it should weigh accurately and have knowledgeable, respectful staff. I will not return to Munchies and do not recommend them.
