The 17 Best Restaurants In Madrid 2024

"In a city where ham, seafood, and potatoes rule, Mune’s Lebanese food is a fantastic change-up, one that makes vegetables and beans as exciting as realizing an afternoon nap is socially acceptable (even encouraged) here. Their fatush salad topped with pomegranate seeds and crisped bread is tangy and bright from the lemon dressing. If you can’t decide between the regular, beetroot, or truffle hummus (we never can), taste all three with the sampler. Mune’s versatility makes it an easy choice for a chic casual lunch, a dressy dinner date, or when you just can’t decide on where to go since this spot has something for everyone. While the tiny Pelayo outpost is cozy for couples, we love the airy and luminous feel of Mune Prado with high ceilings, exposed brick, and massive windows." - lori zaino

The food is amazing, authentic lebanese food. The hummus and beetroot hummus were delicious. The muhammarah was my favorite it was soo good. The fattoush was amazing as well. The shish tawook was nicely seasoned. The kofta in tahini was delectable, it had orange in it which was a nice twist.

I recently visited Mune Pelayo, tucked into Chueca on Calle Pelayo, and was immediately welcomed by its warm, urban-Casual vibe. Exposed brick walls, soft lighting, and a shared wooden table set a relaxed yet refined tone. To start, I sampled their mezze platter—crisp falafel, creamy hummus, and golden kibbeh—vibrant flavors that hinted at thoughtful preparation. For the main, the kafta with tahini stood out—juicy meatballs drizzled with tangy sauce—comforting and well balanced. The fattoush salad, fresh and citrusy, was a great palate cleanser. Service was friendly and knowledgeable, offering helpful dish recommendations and explaining Lebanese flavour notes. Despite cozy quarters, the atmosphere felt lively without being rushed. I left feeling satisfied by their authentic cuisine and inviting setting. Mune Pelayo combines genuine Lebanese flavours with friendly hospitality and stylish comfort—definitely worth a visit for mezze lovers in Madrid.

Loooooved this place, absolutely what real Lebanese food is all about!! Great service, very attentive hosts, romantic, dimmed lighting makes everything so inviting. I’ve been to Beirut many times and have a special connection with their roots, I can say the chef at Mune is very knowledgeable about their vibrant flavors and a place where culture meets tradition!! Shukran!!!

Nice place, the food was tasty. However, we felt that the rice was heated by microwave as the bowl also felt hot. The dessert is fantastic, especially the ice cream. We came without reservation, but the staff was able to get us a table by the window.

My favorite Lebanese in Madrid, with the best Fattoush in town. The ambience is amazing, the food is perfect and I love the Lebanese wines! Can’t wait to go back

I enjoyed eating here. The food was great and the service was great. It was a refreshing snack after a long day in the city. It was open during the convent hours of the afternoon, unlike many other places.

I was able to explore several restaurants in Madrid and this one was hands down, one of my top 5. The middle eastern food was on point, coming from someone who is from the Levant region. The fattoush, tabbouleh, the trio appetizer, the grilled meats were absolutely delish! We finished it off with the knafeh and it was so worth it! The staff were friendly and gave us recommendations as to what was their favs. The decor was also very nice. We were big party but they were able to accommodate us quickly and food came out swiftly as well. If I’m ever in Madrid again, I will made a point to return to this restaurant.

Great Lebanese in Madrid. Comfy restaurant. Good service, attentive but not being over pressing. Menu is long enough to make you feel in Beirut. The textures in every dish are fine tuned, the cooking points are on the spot as well. Recommended
