The food at Mune was truly delicious, but unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. We arrived at 9:45 PM without a reservation to find the restaurant empty. Despite this, we were initially told they couldn’t accommodate us due to upcoming reservations. We politely asked if they could make an exception, and the hostess asked us to return in 20 minutes.
When we came back, the restaurant was still mostly empty, and they agreed to seat us. We placed our appetizer order around 10:20 PM, and the hostess mentioned she would return shortly to take our main course order before the kitchen closed at 11 PM.
However, she never came back. We even flagged down another server, who acknowledged our request but still did not return. As 11 PM approached, we got up to find someone to take our order, only to be told the kitchen was closed. No one apologized or took responsibility.
It’s disappointing because the food we did get to try was excellent. I sincerely hope the management sees this and takes steps to improve staff communication and customer service.
