The 24 Best Restaurants In Madrid - Madrid - The Infatuation

"In a city where ham, seafood, and potatoes rule, Mune’s Lebanese food is a fantastic change-up, one that makes vegetables and beans as exciting as realizing an afternoon nap is socially acceptable (even encouraged) here. Their fatush salad topped with pomegranate seeds and crisped bread is tangy and bright from the lemon dressing. If you can’t decide between the regular, beetroot, or truffle hummus (we never can), taste all three with the sampler. Mune’s versatility makes it an easy choice for a chic casual lunch, a dressy dinner date, or when you just can’t decide on where to go since this spot has something for everyone. While the tiny Pelayo outpost is cozy for couples, we love the airy and luminous feel of Mune Prado with high ceilings, exposed brick, and massive windows." - lori zaino

A great spot for high end Lebanese food. Half portion options allow you to try more dishes. Space is bright and comfortable. Great service.

Wow!! This was something out of this world. Very very good food, lots of vegan / plant-based options and what a wonderful service. Loved everything we ordered. Must visit.

I had the pleasure of dining at Mune Prado Lebanese Restaurant in Madrid, and it was an unforgettable experience. The food was absolutely exquisite—every dish bursting with authentic Lebanese flavors and perfectly prepared. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a beautiful ambiance that truly sets the stage for an enjoyable meal. The service was equally outstanding—attentive, friendly, and professional, making the dining experience even more delightful. Whether you’re a fan of Lebanese cuisine or simply looking for an extraordinary dining experience in Madrid, I highly recommend Mune Prado.

The food at Mune was truly delicious, but unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. We arrived at 9:45 PM without a reservation to find the restaurant empty. Despite this, we were initially told they couldn’t accommodate us due to upcoming reservations. We politely asked if they could make an exception, and the hostess asked us to return in 20 minutes. When we came back, the restaurant was still mostly empty, and they agreed to seat us. We placed our appetizer order around 10:20 PM, and the hostess mentioned she would return shortly to take our main course order before the kitchen closed at 11 PM. However, she never came back. We even flagged down another server, who acknowledged our request but still did not return. As 11 PM approached, we got up to find someone to take our order, only to be told the kitchen was closed. No one apologized or took responsibility. It’s disappointing because the food we did get to try was excellent. I sincerely hope the management sees this and takes steps to improve staff communication and customer service.

The atmosphere is great, the food is tasty, but in my opinion doesn’t resemble true Lebanese flavours. The hummus, moussaka, kofta, etc, is somewhat flavourless and doesn’t have a Middle eastern feel. The price is high for the quantity.

We walked by this place and decided to make a reservation for the upcoming Friday. I would recommend reservations as it’s a smallish place. We had a nice table along the window. We started with some wine and the vegetarian cold mezzos, including Hummus, labneh, muhamara and mutabal. These were all so good! Especially with the crispy flatbread served with it (the crispy bread was much better than the room temperature regular flatbread). I would definitely go back and get this again. We then split the hot mezzos and the half portion of kafta. The hot mezzes were okay. None stood out. The kafta was good, it tasted like Lebanese meatloaf with the raw onions. Very tender. I prefer more spice but it was good. The fries were great! We finished up the mean with the dessert sampler. The best one was the ESMALLIYEH. Crispy and sweet and love the cheese. Overall I would go back as there are many things on the menu I want to try. And have to have more of the muhamara.

Nice food and staff! Virgina helped me choose a wine. I had said yes to the first one to be polite but she noticed it wasn't my favorite and said it was totally fine to taste a different one. These types of details make all the difference.
