Went there for a few drinks after dinner. The staff were friendly and were fast with the drinks. They have a decent selection of cocktails. When we were there there was live music which was nice way to relax.

It can get pretty loud, and their drinks are kinda expensive (like $17/$18 per drink), but the strawberry limoncello drop is always *sooo* good!

Went to an event here and it was such fun! Food is good, drinks are great, though pricey.

I chose the Prickly Pear Margaritas with tajin on the rim!♡♡♡

Great to have a friendly open bar in downtown Los Altos. Order some food at one of the many stalls surrounding, and enjoy a cocktail or beer while you wait. And sure, have another.

The cocktails are one of the worst ones I've ever had. Whiskey sour is made with what tastes like maple syrup and instead of being sour, is overwhelmingly sweet. Stick to beer.

Maybe I should be more forgiving, but they have zero selection of dark beer, porters or stouts. Not even bottled.

The los altos lemonade and pomegranate fizz were semisweet and delicious drinks, my fave being the former, but they were both good. Got to sip on these lovely cocktails and enjoy some good company while listening to live music as part of Los Altos First Friday. Service at the bar was standard and sufficient, and the atmosphere was noisy but full of energy inside the State Street Market food hall this past weekend, with bar seating not too difficult to find around 7pm.

Glad to have a bar in this food court area. The Los Altos lemonade is very good. One of their signature drinks. Nice staff and lots of selections available.

Inside recently opened State Street Market, a food court in my downtown Los Altos, there are multiple food counters, concepts of food if you will, one of which is Murdoch's. Some counters offer meats and flatbreads, others greens and grains, oysters & raw foods, Murdoch's features Drinks & Eats for All. Simple nibbles to accompany your drink, olives, nuts, chips, salads and sides. Cheese or meat boards charcuterie, veggie board, or combos. We ordered a drink each and Sweet Potato Fries. Fries come with ketchup and vegan green harissa dip, sprinkled with smoked sea salt. Served on a platter to share, great munching food, who doesn't like fries! I got Monte Carlo, a specialty cocktail, greatly enjoyed my delicious concoction, you know I'm impartial to Rye Whiskeys, it was great! Made with Benedictine & Orange bitters. My friends ordered Spanish Influence, each, a satisfiable drink. Mixed with Gin, Pomegranate Shrub, Lemon, Apricot Sour. They liked! Cocktails are $14 each. You place your order via QR codes or through a hostess, which is what we did. Murdoch's is named after Los Altan Steven Murdoch who was a local Prohibition-era bootlegger. The intention for Murdoch's is celebrating the casual atmosphere, encouraging an after work gathering, a night out with friends or family. Came here for my friend's birthday. Service was great. Parviz made our drinks quickly and was very friendly. He gave us great recommendations for drinks as well. The other staff were great too! Definitely recommend coming here with friends/family. Located in Los Altos street market so there's food to eat with your drinks!

Total absolute ripoff when this establishment charges 4 times the retail amount for a bottle of red wine with basic service at best.
