We enjoyed an outstanding few days at the fabulous Murmeli. We were recommended to the hotel having stayed in Zürs last year. The boutique hotel is beautifully located in the stunningly picturesque Oberlech. It’s very well-appointed with view down to Lech and the valley beyond. It’s close to the Oberlech cable car and provides easy ski in/out. The welcome and service by Anika and the team are super attentive and personal. The rooms are spacious, clean with beautiful views. The restaurant serves Michelin-standard food with wonderful variety each evening. We’d recommend Murmeli to anyone looking for very high quality, good location and friendly service.

An exceptional lunch at Murmeli Restaurant in Oberlech. We had an outstanding lunch at the Murmeli Restaurant in Oberlech. The tuna tartare was incredibly fresh and perfectly seasoned, the Wagyu lasagnas rich, silky, and unforgettable, and the boeuf Stroganoffs executed with remarkable depth and finesse. The service was friendly and attentive, adding even more warmth to the overall experience. Every dish showcased impressive culinary skill and real attention to detail. A truly remarkable dining experience — absolutely deserving of 5 stars.

Had lunch there on a sunny day outside, it was beautiful. Got a table right away and the food was freshly made, wich is rare these days for lunch in Lech. The bouillabaise was excellent and the staff really attentive.

Our favorite (and best) meal in Lech was at Murmeli. Expertly ran by a husband and wife duo, the tasting menu is an experience you absolutely cannot miss. The flavors are as exceptionally tasty as they are creative. All complemented by an incredibly friendly staff. Thank you Ann Marie for such an unforgettable experience!

I have been hearing about Murmeli for years and finally found it! Tucked away in the beautiful little "back streets" of Oberlech, this restaurant is simply out of this world. In my opinion, it is the best food in the whole Alberg, if not one of my most favourite restaurants in the world! Sitting on the terrace, with crisp white linen and love cutlery and glassware, we had outstanding Vitelli tonnato, Bouillabaisse, Spaghetti vongole, mouthwatering and melting spinach dumplings with parmesan shavings. Wonderful wine list with prices to match, but I can't fault this restaurant. It is absolutely mouth-wateringly delicious! Outstanding.

Simply outstanding - so good I went twice whilst on holiday for a week in February. Annemarie the owner, couldn't be kinder or more helpful. Her food is simply DIVINE. Skip breakfast and have 3 courses, if not 4. Every mouthful is worth it! Best restaurant in the Arlberg by far. Totally sublime!

Restaurant Murmeli is slightly tucked away but locals will all point it out. We had heard about it from another guest at the Post Hotel and I would make this the first lunch booking for your week! ||We ate three of the"classics" including Stroganoff and Curry; absolutely outstanding and wine list thoughtful and not unreasonably priced||They offer a 12:30 and 2pm sitting..if you want to enjoy the experience and gaze out at the majestic Mountains,I would pick the later slot
