**Let me start by saying, I do not normally ever leave reviews on places..”” With that being said…This is my favorite restaurant here in Midland! Their BLT sandwich is the best I have ever had! Their salad was fresh. Their Ranch dressing is out of this world. The fresh personal pizzas they make on Fridays is out of this world as well. It’s got this really friendly chill vibe that reminds me of my childhood for some reason. Maybe it’s the decor, im not quite sure. Overall it’s a great place to sit down with the family and enjoy conversation and have the best food. For two personal pizzas and a BLT sandwich. (three meals for a family of three which Curley fries came with the BLT & 2 drinks it was around 65$)

Charming Atmosphere & Delicious Food! The atmosphere here is fantastic—gives you that warm, fuzzy feeling like you’ve been transported back in time. Vintage signs and old relics are displayed throughout, making dining a nostalgic and cozy experience. Whether you prefer a booth for that classic diner feel or need a table for a group, there’s plenty of seating to accommodate everyone (especially if you come during non-peak hours). Ordering can be a bit slow, so it’s helpful to check out the menu ahead of time and be ready when you get to the counter. After ordering, you’ll get a buzzer for your food and grab your drinks from the self-serve station. Even when it’s busy, food is usually ready quickly. It’s the only spot I know nearby that serves a really good French Dip—perfectly sliced beef, just the right amount of melty cheese, and a warm bun that soaks up the au jus beautifully. My daughter always gets the hot dog and waffle fries from the kids menu, and even then there’s usually some leftover—it’s a great portion size. I’ve heard the pizza and burgers are amazing too. One of these days I’ll branch out from my usual, because honestly, everything on the menu looks delicious!

Great place, food is very good. Nice cozy atmosphere. Staff is helpful and curtious. Really nice outdoor seating in the back, a little hot right now but still nicely set up. The have several beers on tap, reasonable price. The pizza choices are good and the pizzas are very good. Update: The philly is good, kinda small but still good. They do serve Tall City Brewing beer on tap, this is a big plus. I really like locals supporting locals. Thank you.

Super friendly staff and great food! The Pizza is definitely a must try! But you can’t go wrong with any of the other items on the menu! Sandwiches, Salads, Burgers, Curly Fries, Waffle Fries, i’ve never had any thing there that I didn’t like! 10/10 would recommend!!

Super cute place with great lunch options. Lunch is always crazy busy. I have to try their pizzas but have heard great things about them. Salads are great tasting. Be sure to arrive early to get decent seating.

Today I wanted to try an immensely popular spot for locals. I usually walk away from these “favorites” underwhelmed. I’m happy to say that Murray’s lives up to the hype. Their take on a Philly is a little unique and comes together as an incredible sammich. Try them out but listen… show up early. This place gets PACKED! Great little restaurant- note I said “little” but there is actually a ton of space in here.

Took my mom there and we enjoyed it! Food is great and so was the service.

How have I not found this place before? Wanted pizza but it's not served on Saturday so we had a spinach salad and a Reubens. Both were loaded with meat and really good! Super nice staff! This is likely to become one of my favorite places.

Food is AMAZING I love the burgers and the service is quick and kind. The overallb restaurant is great and the fries are to die for!

First timer here and I'll say we were impressed. With the cleanliness and how nice the staff were plus prompt time from ordering to getting the food on the table, this place rocks. They have just about anything you're craving on the menu but we decided to try several items. Turkey Rueben, corn beef Reuben and the American burger (add your own topping bar) fries and sweet potato fries. Epic food. We couldn't stop sharing bites with one another. I hear the wood fires pizza is awesome but only serve it on certain days/hours. We cannot wait to come back.

Decent. My husband and I always try a patty melt if it is on the menu. So, we gave the Murray Melt a go and had them add grilled onions and paired it with curly fries. I asked for blue cheese as well. The Murray Melt was decent, fries were undercooked and as a blue cheese lover, for the first time in my life, I don't know where they get theirs but man, it is POTENT. I'd like to come back ans try some other items on the menu. The staff was friendly and helpful. Service was good.

The food was great! I ate the California Club sandwich and will definitely get it again. The set up to order is confusing. There are menus on a table but it's not clear that you should read them then order. We stood for a minute and then an employee helped us.

Great pizza. Friendly staff, clean. Nice find in Midland,TX can't wait to go back and trying something new.

When we are in Midland we ALWAYS go here for the sandwiches, salads, and burgers. Excellent food and great sweet tea.

Murray's was a great lunch spot!! Super busy so make sure you aren't in a rush. We got the club and the french dip. The club was really good, except the bread is just normal white bread. The french dip was so yummy but it was a little salty. The seasoned waffle fries were 12/10 and the curly fries were as well. The shop is nice, nothing special about the views. They do have outdoor seating which was nice. altogether i would definitely recommend and come here again!

Great sandwich and soup. Cute little place that gets super busy around lunch time. Both me and my husband loved our sandwiches.

This place gets it done all the time. Their sandwiches are always spot on. Burgers are great. Service is always with a smile. This is tough to find in Midland, and these folks get it done right. Hungry? You should be here!

Placed a to go order arrived at the restaurant before the order was complete told the staff my order name and I had a seat in front my order was placed on the table as if I never said anything to the 6 employees behind the counter while they were on their phones my food sat there absolute disregard for any customer service and attention to detail it's sad I really did like this place but never again will I spend my money with Murray's

TRIED to order 2 grilled cheese with cheddar ( you're supposed to be able to choose your cheese). TRIED to order 2 cups of chili, but didn't know chili was seasonal. Ordered 1 side of curly fries, or TRIED to Because they Advertise curly fries. I was told they come with the sandwiches. Lady comes and asks me later, when order is about done, which soup I wanted, I said I didn't order any and didn't want any (because, hey, I went to try the chili, but it's seasonal). SO SHE SAID "you don't want any soup?" I said no, you told me fries came with it. she walked away. It occurred to me I better see if soup is on the receipt. It was. No mention of fries. So I go up to the counter to let them know AGAIN (4th time, twice while ordering) that I thought I was getting fries as per WHAT THEY TOLD ME. So then she calls out "2 orders of fries". It wasn't prepared. So while the sandwiches sat there, I waited the xtra 10 minutes for them to cook the fries. Of course, when I got home, they were undercooked and soggy. HOWEVER, I didn't read the rest of the receipt, or pay attention. They had put down AMERICAN cheese, not the cheddar I had asked for several times at the counter. I hate American cheese. Problem was, I didn't discover this until I got home. So, NO, I'm not gonn' turn around and go back. I was already pretty frustrated. In short, I do NOT recommend this place, but if you DO choose to go --- check the receipt. TWICE. i can't believe I tipped this place. My bad. But that's the problem of tipping before you get your food. *sigh*

I signed up for yelp just so i could leave this review. We live right by murrays and eat there often including take out tonight. I am tired of the stale bread and condiments being so skimpy. You get mayo. One little dab and they do not spread it over the slice. Get a reuben hardly any dressing. Fries are great. Spinach salad is great. I even ordered a sandwich that comes on the croissant so it would be fresh. Includes guac spread. Spread ha. Again a dab in the middle and nowhere else. As much as it Costs to eat out and a huge selection of restaurants probably not go there again for awhile. And the review about being lazy was absolutely correct. In fact i had an employee swear they had put extra dressing in the sack but my son had them open it and no dressing. She went to the kitchen window and got some. He asked again and she said yes it was in the sack. He got the food home and still no dressing.

The food was ok. The service is horrible!! I placed a 20% tip on the tab, I don't know what for!!! I feel it should be refunded! We sat outside because it was a beautiful day. We had ordered 2 Heavenly Salads, simple right? Well after waiting for quite some time, I walked in to see if there was a problem. They said they had walked around calling my name and no one answered so they put them back in the kitchen!! They couldn't simply open the door and look to see if there was anyone outside!!! Ridiculous!!! We love the ambiance of the restaurant, but the service was nothing but pure laziness

Went here with my cousin while in town for work. This was one of her favorite local spots. She had a salad with salmon added on. It looked great. I had a chick-ado sandwich with sweet potato fries. The sand which was excellent. The sweet potato fries were soggy. So I'd ask for them crispy if possible. The atmosphere was nice. We were talking and laughing without feeling like we were disrupting others. When I asked coworkers they also reported it was a good goto around midland.

I hadn't been here for a few years so I thought I would see how they were doing. Big mistake. I ordered the patty melt, my usual. Patty was small and very dry. Bread was soggy. Fries were too greasy; I couldn't eat them. Best thing was the soda. Not going back.

Food is mediocre... not bad but wouldn't go back or recommend. Ohh and pizzas are only served certain days/times.

Great service, gal at the counter was very sweet and helped us with our recommendations, we ordered the super burger and Reuben sandwich. For our side, we ordered the fried zucchini. Both were delicious. The decoration and ambiance inside was nice, but we sat next to the blinds by the window they were extremely dusty. Overall, we look forward to come back here and trying more of the menu. We hope the management will take measures to improve the cleanliness.

Have been eating here for years! Local favorite lunch or dinner spot. They have added pizza on certain nights. It was ok. I'd stick to the regular menu though. One of my personal favorites is Bacon Cheeseburger on Jalapeño Bread. Salads are also good with the homemade ranch or homemade poppyseed dressings. Must try!

Order at the counter with open seating while waiting for your order. Tons of things on the walls for kids to look at while waiting, which is great for I Spy. The bun on the Jalapeno Cheeseburger is my favorite, and I am a big fan of the curly fries. We have also popped in after dinner just to get dessert; they have some good options.

Let's talk about a delicious cheesy pie! You're looking at "The-Pig" and the "Fun-Guy". If you love sweet bacon, the fun guy is the pizza for you. All my meat lovers don't pass up the pig! #midlandtx #foodie #pizzalover

Absolute gem! Prices are extremely reasonable. Food is delicious! Ordered the burger and fries, you have to ask for condiments I found out. Extremely generous serving of homemade curly fries. Service was quick and friendly. Ambiance was an old world charm, reminded me of eating at grandparents. Took my 3 year old with me. He loved the macaroni and cheese! Very family friends.

I absolutely love Murray's menu. There is literally something for everyone and it's all delicious. Looking forward to the spring weather so I can have lunch dates on the patio again. Keep up the great work.!

When we visited at 4:30 on a Friday afternoon, it was quiet and we practically had the place to ourselves. No music playing (a welcome relief). The mozzarella cheesesticks are crunchy and delicious. They serve RO water, for which I am very grateful. The California club sandwich is delicious and generously filled with meat (I can't even finish half), and the platter contains copious amounts of freshly created curly fries (you can choose regular or sweet potato fries). The clam chowder is reminiscent of the deliciousness of that we used to get at Whole Foods. The chicken fried steak sandwich is also top notch--tender meat with crispy breading. To top it off, the chocolate mousse cake is rich and delicious and full of chocolate. We will definitely keep this place in mind next time we pass through Midland.

Great ambience when able to sit inside or outside. I prefer outside as sitting inside is definitely crowded. The food is great and I've been eating at Murray's for years and years. I'm not a fan of the potato salad but the Rueben sandwich and other sandwiches are delicious.

The restaurant looks like a great spot. I want to give it another chance, but for dine in next time. I'm hoping the poor quality of the pizza was due to it being a pickup order even though we gave them the 1hr 15 minutes they requested to prepare and bake it. The pizza was very greasy, undercooked, and cut in the most peculiar way. My biggest concern was witnessing three staff mocking a customer after an interaction between them. A customer noticed a meal was missing from their order. They brought this to the staffs attention. The customer seemed very reasonable and respectful. Looked like a mom getting dinner for her family and a kids meal had been left out. I'm sure any parent would ask for help after paying for the meal and not wanting to get home with fewer meals than family members. After the mom left with her completed order the three front of house staff started belittling the woman LOUDLY. This was peak dinner time and many patrons were in line and the restaurant. I easily heard the whole thing. There was a more mature cashier next to them and she didn't even speak to the three others about being civil.

The only place in Midland to get a Chicago Dip! I am looking forward to trying more.

People love this place but I think the food is greasy. The salads are okay. The fries are raw and full of oil.

This place slaps. They need to bring back the bratwurst, though. Very wide selection available on the menu. I love the "help yourself" approach to pickles and sauces. Reasonable prices, and the food tastes good.

Food was very bland. Not to our palate. Tables outside were dirty. Cashier was rude. We had the burger, philly, mozzarella sticks, zucchini chips, and pepperoni pizza. The best we had were the mozzarella sticks and waffle fries.

Love the crab melt sandwich with curly fries for a splurge. Pizza is delicious. For healthier option salmon bowl. Excellent option for sandwiches of all kinds.

What can I say? This restaurant has been around forever and I just keep going back. I love the chicken and bacon and avocado sandwich with the homemade French fries. Salad's are great!

I ordered the heavenly salad and fell in love with it. It had an exciting combination of sliced almonds, bacon bits, mandarin oranges, salad greens and the flavorful chicken. It's my favorite and I order it often.

The portions are very large. The curly fries are fresh cut with skin on. I also love their sweet potato fries.

Gross. How hard is it to make a Reuben? Hardly any dressing or cheese. It's a sandwich, how can you screw that up?? Didn't get the two brownies I paid for either. Since it's changed management it's gone down hill. Save your money and go to Firehouse or Jason's Deli.

This place did not disappoint. Stopped for a quick lunch. I had the salmon salad. Was beautiful, fresh and healthy. Glad we picked it.

Homemade burgers! So good. Everything is fresh. Very clean and fast. Awesome customer service. The toddlers had a peanut butter and jelly and fruit. They do an amazing job at catering to everyone.

The only reason I don't eat their bratwurst everyday is because my wife won't let me. Amazing food!

Murray's will always be one of the best food spots in midland. I HIGHLY recommend the tomato basil soup. 10/10

I highly recommend the food at Murray's Restaurant & Deli but DO NOT order Delivery thru Yelp as you may never get it. We placed an order at 4:50 pm today and at 7:06pm we still have not received our order. Please do not make the same mistake we did!

Great sandwich shop. Been open for years. Good meeting place for friends. Food comes out quickly.

Very well kept place with great food and nice staff which is very rare for this area. Will be eating here again.

Great atmosphere for our first drop in lunch. Wood everywhere with divey beer bottle signs on the wall (in a good way). French dip and fries were great. Boston cream pie was the bomb. 2 young ladies served us kindly and we will be back for more!

Great food. My only complaint is when i viewed a very sick employee coughing and sneezing and making sandwiches and the owner didn't send her home. I left.

We ate here with our family and everyone loved their food. I had the Jalapeño burger and sweet potato fries and it was delicious. Great tasting meat and just the right amount of light pink center. My husband had the patty melt with reg fries and he is picky about his patty melt and really enjoyed it. I saw a review saying it was greasy but his wasn't at all for him.
