A Columbia institution since 1985 where live jazz anchors a menu of unfussy, well-made American dishes. Frequently praised by local critics and tied to the We Always Swing Jazz Series, it’s the definitive dinner-and-music experience in town.

Excellent Food, Unable to make reservations as they don't accept which is sad for waiting line is LONG starting as early as 5pm. Outdoor parking is free BUT not big especially when so many patrons waiting to get in versus if restaurant would do timed reservations! Sadly parkers forget NOT to block Hydrants too! Food is all all cart nothing comes with main entrees you have to pay for extras. I am used a balanced meal veggie and potato had to pay extra! The 8oz Filet Mignon $32 was excellent super tender cooked perfectly. My spouse's salmon meal $16 was cooked well too! The food was delicious but the wait long and too dark inside!

The food was amazing and so were the prices. I couldn’t rave enough about this place. By far the best and most attractive waitress I’ve ever had. Couldn’t have been happier with the experiences

I recently found myself in CoMo for a conference, and after a long day, dinner was non-negotiable. There was a short wait for a table, but luckily, a super-friendly cocktail waitress kept the spirits high with some seriously delicious drinks. When we finally sat down, choosing what to eat was a little challenging, since they offered some many amazing options! I decided on the lemon pesto chicken. It came with three juicy pieces of chicken, smothered in the best pesto sauce I’ve ever tasted—chunky, garlicky goodness that had me savoring every bite. I couldn’t resist trying a bite of my friend’s bone-in pork chop, which was cooked to perfection, tender and full of flavor. And let’s not forget the garlic bread—totally set the stage for what was an epic meal. Murray’s is absolutely on my list of places to revisit, whether I’m back in Columbia or just passing through.

Found this on google and was exactly what we were looking for. Live music, kitchen open late, affordable options and great food. We had sm. cheese garlic bread, and house salad, delicious and good enough to share for 2. I had the filet kabob with the cheese sauce ( oh my gosh soooo good) with a side of garlic noodle pasta ( prob would try the mashed potatoes next time ) & daughter got lemon pesto chicken. Dirty martini with Tito’s was only $9! Service was fast and friendly. Absolutely love this place. Edit: we have been back three more times now. Usually we stop by and put our name and know it will be an hour or so. They do have a bar and a side room that you can wait and have drinks in. This time we got the steak sandwich which was a huge portion of steak. I just got the appetizer kabobs, which was still plenty of food. Everything is à la carte but it’s still affordable. Will probably be back the next time we visit as well.

A Columbia favorite. Quaint and cozy ambiance. This place is perfect for date night, family dinner, evening with friends.. Dress up or go in casual.. Anything works here. Tables with bar service for while your wait for your table. Our server while we waited was a little snarky; despite asking for water to go with our drinks thrre times, she never brought us any water. Once we got to our table, the evening improved significantly. Our server was super friendly and helpful. Our food was fantastic too. We had cheese bread that was served hot and made with provel. We ordered their green pepper appetizer too.. You would never think deep fried green peppers would taste good with powdered sugar, but low and behold.. They were good ?!?! The burger was really good too. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly. We also had the Reuben and a French dip, which were awesome. Sides were ala cart but they were sharable size portions. We were expecting a hefty bill, but prices were very reasonable. Their dessert menu is huge. I was bummed they were out of gooey butter cake; maybe next time. Ample parking in a lot out front. We will definitely go back!

Breaded Green Pepper with powdered sugar is one of the most creative things I've ever seen. Young staff were friendly and attentive. Salad, Breaded Green Pepper, Pork Chop, and Lemon Pesto were great. Tito's on rocks for only $7.50. Their prices are straight out of 1999. This place is a treasure

This was a really cool place to go to The bar made excellent drinks and the food was very reasonable For appetizers, we had onion rings and they were great ….frog legs, people like them, but I just couldn’t bring myself to eat one Garlic cheese bread, yummy, and the most interesting appetizer was the fried green peppers with powdered sugar on them For dinner, I had the 8 ounce fillet and you could cut it with a butter knife. It was absolutely delicious My husband had the Bob’s those were a little disappointing, pretty tiny chunks of meat and just not really enough to fill anybody up. We added a side of mashed potatoes, which was really good. Other people at the table got fettuccine another one got a steak sandwich w a huge piece of sirloin and I’ve heard that the tuna sandwich is really good Overall, highly recommend the place

What an amazing experience! Love the atmosphere, the food was great, and the service by our server Skyler was impeccable! We’re actually considering coming back for dinner on the same day that we had lunch.
