"A Washington-based Japanese restaurant has opened its first Portland location. Musashi’s, with restaurants in Bellevue and Redmond, now serves staples like sushi, teriyaki, and sukiyaki out of the space once home to Russell Street Barbecue. The whole menu is shockingly inexpensive, with nigiri under $2.50 apiece and six-piece maki for under $5." - Brooke Jackson-Glidden

Cute little Japanese restaurant with great quality food, unbeatable price, and wonderful service (food comes out fast too). If you haven't been here before, you have to try it out. 😊 We'll definitely be back. Seating space is limited. There might be a wait time if it's busy or for a large party. We also saw lots of takeout orders during our 45mins time there.

Google
Fantastic value for the quality of the food. The portions are generous and well worth the price! They even offer complimentary hot tea. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here!

Google
Omg, this restaurant is bomb.com. the sushi was fresh, and the rice was fluffy and soft. You also get tea barley at the tables. You can't beat the price. We would come back in a heat beat if in the area.

Google
We ordered chirashi bowl, special bento and a salmon roll. The chirashi is standard, fresh fish but for the price it's a good deal. The special bento was great. I like the bbq beef and chicken on skewer instead of the common teriyaki. They also serve grilled zucchini, mushrooms and onion instead of the boring salad. The sashimi was good as well. Great combination. The only complaint is the place is too small. We are lucky we got a table when we came.

Google
This place is always delicious and fresh. I love the portion and reasonable price despite of inflation.

Jenny Snowy

Google
Chirashi Don is loaded with fresh sashimi and the combo Grill plate is very good and comes with a bowl of California salad (think California roll without the rice and seaweed) Must try Plum wine too

I really love this place and have for many years. As someone who has lived in Japan, I can say that the quality of their fish is great! It’s not the best in WA that I’ve had but it’s still very good for the PNW. I loveeeee their chirashi bowls and appreciate that they let you customize what is in the bowl if you prefer (sometimes I get chirashi but with only one kind of fish, for example). Their prices are low for what they serve and their bowls come with such generous portions! Parking is easy. There is parking throughout the whole plaza, though during some parts of the day you might need to park a bit further from the restaurant cuz so many people go to Factoria. The staff are nice, maybe not the most friendly but they are pleasant. It is, however, a VERY small location so sometimes getting seating is really hard. And the decor isn’t very cozy (makes sense for such a small place). But otherwise highly recommend this place! Love love love it.

Google
My go-to place for no-frills, reasonably priced sushi. It’s my baseline that I compare other sushi places to. Seafood is fresh, the slices of fish on nigiri are thick, and the Chirashi Bowl is the best deal in Seattle. It’s no Sushi Kashiba, but for this price point, can’t really beat it. The Chirashi Bowl can be customized and you can substitute stuff you don’t like, or just get an entire bowl of salmon. My favorites are: amaebi, seared salmon, eel roll, spicy scallop / salmon roll, shrimp tempura roll. Last time I got their California roll it was too much rice and not enough filling, pretty disappointing but hopefully it was a fluke. They accept credit cards. You can call ahead of when they open (4:30-5:00) to place an order right away. It also seems that their Clover page for online ordering is not marked up. The prices are changing recently, so check out recent menu photos or their clover online ordering page for updated prices.

Yelp
For the price and value, Musashi's is a great option for Japanese eats in the Seattle/Bellevue area. The restaurant is right in between Subway and Starbucks in the factoria area. The parking sucks by the way as the stalls are very narrow. The restaurant may look closed but it's just very dim inside. The restaurant has maybe 6 tables of 4 and then a some bench seating along the wall for maybe 4-6 people. Once you select what you want to order, head up to the counter to order (this is primarily a counter service restaurant). The nigiri set is very generous, especially if you come for lunch since it's around $13-14! You get a great set of fish and assorted rolls. We also ordered a shrimp tempura roll to split as well as 2 miso soups. So two sets of nigiri, 2 miso soups, and one shrimp tempura roll with tax came out to a little over $50, which was a great deal for a Japanese restaurant in the Seattle area. Overall, a great option for food! Head over to Musashi's for great value and tasty sushi!

Yelp
I was really looking forward to trying the Bellevue location, but many things didnt work out today. This location is very compact with limited seating and people line up as soon as doors are open. I got there right at 11:30am for lunch and ordered a chirashi bowl to go. Waited almost 15 minutes and I noticed that others behind me were getting their orders. I went up to cash register to find out that my order was bagged and put on the side. This is a busy place but they only have one person to cover so many things from cash register, bag to go/online orders, answer the phone and serve/clean tables! After a long wait, I was ready to enjoy the chirashi bowl. It looked great and first bite of mini scallops with roes was amazing! When I was about to move onto yellowtail, I found a small piece of black hair ont the second piece of sashimi. It turned off my appetite and I was overly disappointed that I just couldn't enjoy rest or almost all of freshly made chirashi bowl! Please take some care into customer experience! Having fresh and great tasting sashimi is not enough...

Yelp
Musashi's really is the loml. I frequent the Redmond location many times, but this time ended up at the Bellevue one. It may look closed on the outside, but as long as the open sign is up they're there! The inside is really small and cozy, and they have complementary tea at every table. I absolutely love dining at Musashi's as the environment is so comforting. While I typically go for the classic rolls and nigiri, this time I decided to get the Musashi roll instead. It was gigantic and extremely value for the price. I loved the abundance of spicy tuna and spicy mayo, and the fish eggs added such good flavor to it. The rice was cooked perfectly as well, and this roll was absolutely delicious. I'll always be the biggest fan of Musashi's!

Bonnie G.

Yelp
The sushi and sashimi were well prepared and seemed to be very fresh. I loved the chirashi bowl (though would have liked some pickled things or seaweed salad - something in addition to the fish). The dinner sushi combo was a very nice assortment. Everything we had from the small menu was enjoyed. Nice little neighborhood place.

Helene L.

Yelp
I am very flexibly for value of product (competitive pricing). Been going for what feels a decade. Best deal for a chirashi bowl with variety of rolls, nigiri and limited hot food. Hits the spot. Kids love the salmon chirashi bowl Ambiance- casual, small, quaint, not good for large groups or strollers. Love all the local posters of future events. Service- semi fast food ish like. Nice. Parking- available- but with construction a little crowded. Value- excellent! Recommend- it's our go to place for chill Sushi.

Sarah F.

Yelp
This is our favorite sushi place in all of Bellevue! It's excellent quality and you get big pieces of fish for the price you pay. Everyone is always very nice and welcoming. We come once every two to three weeks for a fast delicious dinner :)

Shayla T.

Yelp
Small interior with minimal seating but I didn't mind it at all. Looks like a lot of people do prefer to do pick up here so we didn't have trouble finding a table. The lunch nigiri was actually pretty good for the price. I typically don't get rolls but this roll was pretty tasty and got me full fast. The toro wasn probably my least favorite thing that we got. Definitely had better elsewhere but I honestly wasn't expecting much when we ordered it. Overall great place for fast sushi

Michelle H.

Yelp
Pretty good deal for a filling chirashi bowl! I asked for a spicy mayo on the side which I really enjoyed with the salmon and scallops. Seafood was fresh during my visit. They also have a bunch of specialty rolls I can't wait to try my next visit. It's a small restaurant but not too crowded on the weekday.

Xichen J.

Yelp
This is a small sushi restaurant in Factoria, located in the same shopping complex as the QFC and Starbucks. Their entrance faces Factoria Blvd. Parking could be hard to find during peak times. Inside, the restaurant is quaint, with limited number of tables for indoor dining. Order is placed at the counter and they bring the sushi to you. I tried the tempura roll and the California roll. Both tasted decent for the price, but was not spectacular. Overall, I find this place to be a decent fast-casual option for a quick stop if hungry, but nothing special.

Charlotte G.

Yelp
I had a great visit at Musashi's. I went for a quick dinner before a movie across the street, and the sushi was very good and very affordable. I split 3 different rolls between two people and that was plenty. I ordered at the counter and the food was brought out quickly as well. I'll be coming back here again next time I'm in Factoria.

Lizzie M.

Yelp
I thought the spicy salmon and onirigi were good value and my partner got the chirashi bowl (which he loves). It's a quaint place in Factoria and is a good spot to get casual sushi. No thrills or anything but you leave full.

Lila C.

Yelp
Fantastic value for the quality of the food. The portions are generous and well worth the price! They even offer complimentary hot tea. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here!

Sandra L.

Yelp
Stopped in to pick up cooked food for dinner hamachi collars with rice. Yum Take out food was nicely packed Note: lots of construction going on - on factoria blvd. and parking in front of restaurant is temporarily unavailable

Han H.

Yelp
Unfortunately, the worst culinary experience. Quality has really gone down- we showed up on a Wednesday around 1:30pm. Shrimp tempura was not crunchy, you couldn't even tell it was tempura. The roe was watery and just not good. My brother in law says "you come here for the cost, not the quality" but it's really gone downhill- wouldn't even come here for cost. Staff was nice- thanked us when we left. But unfortunately, you go up to order and you pay up front so even that you "get what you pay for."

Vivien L.

Yelp
More like 3.5/5 overall. I came on a Tuesday night with 4 people and we ordered at the counter. The restaurant is small and fairly busy, and we were able to be seated immediately upon arrival. I assume this place gets busy on weekends since it was almost at full capacity on a Tuesday. I ordered the sushi nigiri plate and substituted the shrimp with seared salmon. It tasted alright. The fish portions are generous and I enjoyed the tuna and maki rolls the best. I thought I would enjoy the seared salmon the most, but it was one of my least favorite assortments of the plate.

Sally L.

Yelp
The restaurant is dimly lit. It is in a plaza so theres plenty of parking. You order up front and get your dish served to you. The food came out pretty fast. I ordered the chirashi bowl. It was mostly good, but the salmon did feel a little slimy and was a cut pretty big. The eel was yummy. They give you a lot of rice. So it is very filling! Would come again, but not dying to come back!

Davis W.

Yelp
A no frills spot for cheap sushi. The service is fast and the interior is small. I was impressed by the amount of eel on their eel nigiri!

Bessie C.

Yelp
Came around lunch time and was surprised to see there was a table open. Small location holding about 6 tables of 4ppl. Menu includes nigiri in which you can purchase per piece. The hamachi Kama is amazing and typically sells out quickly. They now take credit cards!

Eve C.

Yelp
What a great surprise behind that unassuming facade! We arrived shortly after 5pm and there was only one other person dining. Order at the counter was quick and the menu was user friendly. The choices were clear even before we got there. Chirashi bowl for $19, that's a no brainer! The dinner nigiri set had a good variety of fish and sweet shrimp. We also got the hamachi kama (yellowtail collar), grilled lightly and it was so juicy, two large pieces came with a plate of rice to complement the juicy and oily fish. Just perfection! Service was quick and they even reminded us that the sushi is one piece per order, although the menu clearly spell it out already. Plenty of parking within the shopping plaza.

Sarah R.

Yelp
Got the dinner plate - maybe some of the worst Sushi I've ever had tbh. Sushi was quite fishy & made my stomach hurt - I could only eat a few pieces. (I love sushi generally). Staff were nice.

Jonie L.

Yelp
I can't believe I haven't written a review for Musashi's yet! I have been coming here for the past 10+ years! I usually get their chirashi bowl - I like customizing them with more salmon and/or hamachi and no tuna or unagi, but you can pretty much customize it however you like! Fish quality here isn't the BEST (don't expect omakase cuts) but it's usually pretty good and my sushi craving gets satisfied at a decent price. Rolls and other stuff I've tried like the grilled salmon kama or hamachi kama have been pretty good too. Service is always quick whether you're dining in or taking out. The restaurant is small though so expect a wait during peak dining hours. No reservations. There's a huge parking lot for the Factoria Village where Musashi's is located, so parking is never an issue. Check out Musashi and I guarantee you'll continue coming back for years to come ;)

Annie R.

Yelp
Best sushi for the price in probably all of King County! Been going to Musashi's since I was a kid, the one in Seattle and so so excited they have one in Bellevue! We order from here probably once a week.. $12 for big sushi rolls are unheard of these days. They're quick, fresh, less expensive and delicious!

Jadyn H.

Yelp
On Friday afternoon around lunch: - Quick service, very attentive server and short wait - Great food: All that sushi down there- fresh, savory fish and sweet sushi rice- just $13.50! - Comfy seating: AC on, door open...very refreshing - Free barley tea: Delicious even on a hot day Great restaurant as always!

Bonnie L.

Yelp
When we saw how small the inside was, we were hesitant because we have a baby with us and there was no waiting area. One of the servers cared to actually tell us that it would only be a 5-10 minute wait as we were about to walk back to our car. Really liked the system that they have going on here. We paid for our order at the register right away and got seated. The server taking our order was very courteous and our food came out right away. Our server was also very attentive to our needs. Food was great! I loved my order and even thought that the price was affordable considering the great quality of the seafood. Overall, highly recommend this place! Although may or may not be for people who have kiddos who are not able to sit on high chairs. The place is a tad bit small but other than that, I would love to come back!

Kyle S.

Yelp
Good deal for the Chirashi bowl that I got with thick slices of fish. Fast service since we went when they opened and no complaints, just a satisfied diner! There are limited tables as as I write this there is construction going on nearby in the street so be aware of that.

Jon O.

Yelp
Musashi's is still the best chirashi bowl in Seattle! Similar to their Wallingford location, this one in Factoria serves up huge slices of fresh fish, including salmon, maguro, white tuna, eel, hamachi, along with scallops and shrimp. Also appreciate the sushi rice underneath is warm, I hate it when places have cold dry pellet rice. Unlike the Wallingford location, this one accepts credit cards (yes!). There are only six tables plus four bar seats, so definitely get here early or off-peak to avoid crowds.

Bright H.

Yelp
The food was super good, I really liked the yellowtail nigiri, it tasted fresh and it was all relatively cheap for a sushi spot. They also had complimentary hot tea which I thought was pretty standard but still good. I would say that a Sushi Nigiri plate and one additional standard roll would be enough for one person. The restaurant itself is a small and cozy with a cabin-feeling atmosphere that is very inviting. Is a good place for you to just chill with your friends and eat good sushi. It does seem like a full sit-in restaurant but you technically have to place your order at the counter and then you can sit down and self serve your beverages. The staff were really friendly and helpful, although we really only interacted with them when initially ordering. Highly recommend if you are in the area and are craving sushi on a budget!

Amy V.

Yelp
What we ordered: Miso Soup, Chirashi Bowls, Unagi Maki, Spicy Tuna Maki & Fried Chicken ⁣ Finally had time to go to Mushashi's in Kent and omg I miss eating chirashi bowls! Seriously has been so long since I last had a chirashi bowl and it hit the spot. You get a little bit of everything and the maki's are larger than a lot of maki's I've seen! There was limited seating inside, but the decor was nice. Least favorite would have to be the fried chicken. It was just fried and not really seasoned. Definitely will have to lunch here more often!

S L.

Yelp
Small little place for some decent pricing sushi. Service was quick and we also got our food quickly. The food was also plentiful for the price - but somehow the quality of the food was just ok even when I adjusted it for the price. Therefore at this point deserving 3 stars. The chirashi bowl of seared salmon had a lot of salmon and thick cut but taste wise it was ok. The salmon collar rice dish was also good price but had a lot of bones.

Kristine N.

Yelp
Came here on a whim for dinner on a Wednesday night and it did not disappoint! My boyfriend and I ordered the chirashi bowl (~$18) and the Musashi roll (~$12) to share. I've been searching for a solid sushi place ever since I moved to the area, and this place hit the spot for me. I've heard great things about the chirashi bowl here but never got to try it until I came to visit. Love the assortment of fish and the quality is nice and fresh with thick cuts of fish on a bed of perfectly seasoned rice. My favorite was the scallop and unagi. The musashi roll seemed a bit basic being a California roll with spicy tuna on top, but it was soo good. I was definitely surprised with how delicious everything was. Despite it being super busy during dinner time, the service was still friendly and great. The environment is cozy, but a bit small. There aren't too many tables in the restaurant, but the waiters did their best to keep up. We were treated well and when asked if they could clean a recently used table, they were happy to help us. If dining in, there is also complimentary tea which is a win in my books! Definitely will be returning and making this place my go-to for any sushi crave!

Jessie X.

Yelp
Orders are taken at the counter, but staff will bring the food to your table if you dine in. Came before the dinner rush and service was pretty fast and staff were friendly! As for the food, we ordered the Musashi Roll, Dinner Sushi Nigiri, and Fresh Salmon Roll - everything tasted super fresh and delicious.

Saemyi L.

Yelp
Never disappoints with their portion size! At such a great price, they give you so many thick pieces of sashimi over sushi rice. I get full halfway through. They are quick and fast. Space is a little small but we had seats right away when we got there around 1pm on a Friday.

Ziyan B.

Yelp
I have been coming to Mushashi's since pre-Covid, and I feel that the quality has changed a little bit compared to then. Admittedly, I haven't been coming for a while, so I can't speak on the consistency of food. We ordered 4 items, chirashi bowl, unadon, beef sukiyaki, and bento. We liked the chirashi bowl the best, quality and freshness of fish. The beef sukiyaki was more like a beef rice bowl, very different from what we had at other Japanese restaurants. The bento and unadon were ok, nothing surprisingly good. I would come back for Chirashi bowl for sure, but not sure about the rest of the three we ordered. The service was good and quick.

Wesley W.

Yelp
Splitting sushi and the bill along with it is kind of annoying with people you don't know. ENTER CHIRASHI BOWL. Good serving size for one person with a lot of variety in it for cheap. Very cool. Good price, good quality, fast and friendly service. Very solid, nothing fancy, not even the price tag. 4 stars.

Tarek H.

Yelp
Bad customer service. I went in to order food at like 8:50. They told me they won't take my order because they aren't open. Yet somehow I walked right in and I was there during posted open hours. People don't have issues with being not open or taking a long time or making mistakes. It's all about setting expectation correctly to the client. Musashi's is a place that strictly survives on their product but not on their customer service. For some like myself, it's a large part of the restaurant experience. I mean why else is there a tip option every where now. The correct response was like I apologize that we can't take your order today. Due to "insert some good reason" the hours posted or the fact the door is open is a fluke. Promise you all one has to do is open a place like this with the same caliber of food and then just offer an unprecedented level of service and it will just completely outcompete musashi.

Jayde M.

Yelp
I love Musashi's. No matter how many times I go, I cannot get tired of it. Such a great selection of sushi and small bites, and the prices have managed to stay reasonable over the years! Pretty small restaurant, but whenever I've gone there's never been too long of a wait. It's a great place to come with 1-3 friends and share a bunch of items. Or just by yourself and get a chirashi bowl! I think it's by far the best chirashi bowl around for the price. Even the times I've gotten takeout it's still really good which I don't often feel about sushi.

Ting A.

Yelp
Quick and easy spot for a simple Japanese meal. Orders are placed at the front counter. Tea is complimentary. ----- Chirashi Bowl: assorted sashimi over rice (fresh salmon, tuna, yellow tail, albacore, broiled eel, scallop, shrimp, flying fish roe) ($18.75). ----- Unadon: broiled eel over rice ($17.75). ----- Seaweed Salad ($3.95). ----- Stopped by early on a weekday at 5 PM and all tables were shortly full after at 5:20 PM.

Iris P.

Yelp
musashi's is a go-to place for many asian-americans in bellevue, and the small restaurant can get relatively crowded on a weekday evening. it's a no-frills restaurant -- you order at the front from a simple menu. the chirashi bowl is a favorite, with generous portions of fish and rice. there aren't many vegetable options so we paired it with some skewers. the fish quality is alright, but at least they are thick slices.

Michael X.

Yelp
Musashi's has been on my to try list for quite some time, and I'm always on the look out for some bomb Japanese food! We decided to swing by on a Wednesday around 6pm, had no wait time, and received our food in about 10 minutes. The atmosphere of the restaurant is busy and there were a steady stream of customers coming in and out. Ordering was done through a waiter, and the service was decent and pretty standard when it comes to trying a restaurant of similar quality and cuisine. I got the chirashi bowl and we shared two rolls of sushi which I'll review down below: Fresh Salmon ($5) and Fatty Tuna roll ($5.95) : These rolls were good and the fish was fresh, but they were also pretty textbook in terms of how sushi rolls go. Wished that there was a bit more fish in the rolls as you can notice in the photos, and as you are paying $5 per roll only to get a small amount of sushi that wouldn't get use to filling you up. Chirashi Bowl ($17.95): This bowl is presented quite nicely with how the fish is laid out and how fresh everything looked! The tuna slices were meaty, the salmon slices were luxurious in their taste (they were my favorite), and the overall texture of everything was pleasing and refreshing. There is a thin layer of sushi rice beneath the fish as well. If you are looking to get that fresh sushi fish craving out, this is a good pick. But the downside is, if you are looking to get full, sadly this isn't it - the bowl is a deceptively small from the photos. After finishing this delicious bowl and the rolls I described above, I wasn't even close to getting full and I've pretty much spent almost $30 for something that only gets me quarter full. Overall, I would say Musashi's is a solid 4 stars - good tasting food represented with fresh fish, but definitely more on the pricier side in terms of quantity. There definitely are other sashimi bowl options on the Eastside that are roughly the same price but give you more fish and rice. Everything that you see here adds to up $30 just for one person, and my thoughts are usually if I'm looking to spend this amount of money at a restaurant, I'm looking to get full.

Jackn2222 ..

Yelp
Clean. Excellent food. Good Service. Good quality food. Hot tea in thermos. Been going here for years.

Alex K.

Yelp
You can tell it's a popular spot because they are swamped with orders since the door opened for lunch. Oh, food! Very mediocre. Lots and lots of rice in rolls. You can taste the vinegar. As far as fish, well, cream cheese and salmon had cooked salmon from the night before and was beyond fishy. Maybe, somewhere in the Midwest this joint would be considered legit, but not here.

Helen C.

Yelp
Musashi's is a great location for affordable and quality sushi. If you're looking to ball on a budget, I'd definitely come here for extremely fresh fish at reasonable prices! Once you're finished with your meal, you directly pay at the cashier. Chirashi Bowl (4/5): Thick cuts of raw fish and they are super generous. You definitely won't find anything close for under twenty bucks. Surprisingly filling as well. Toro Roll (4.25/5): I think this was a seasonal dish and it's delicious! Fatty tuna in perfect bite sized pieces.

Jennifer H.

Yelp
This location in Factoria is a bit on the small side. It doesn't look like much from the outside and we weren't even sure if it was open. It was but the windows looked so dark. It was full on a weeknight though and lots of people were doing takeout. Very busy! Luckily we were able to sit down right away. You do have to order at the counter and pay first. So it's definitely geared toward takeout. As far as the food goes, which was bought out to us, it wasn't bad but not amazing either. They don't have a very extensive menu. Most things are very simple sushi rolls, no special rolls. The fish tasted fresh to me which was good, I had a salmon roll and an eel roll. The eel could have used a bit more sauce I think. Another nice thing about the restaurant was the free tea on the table with cute tea cups. Overall I would recommend this place as good for some takeout but otherwise don't go out of your way.

Ryan T.

Yelp
Currently my favorite sushi place in Seattle/Bellevue. They have good prices and great sushi. The service is great and the restaurant is cute. Not a lot of space inside so you may have to grab it to go if you are going to the Bellevue location. I'm a big fan of spicy tuna

Marcus S.

Yelp
In the area and in the mood for sushi, Musashi's was on deck. Musashi's seems to be about 60% take out and 40% Dine in. Constant people coming in to pick up orders being personal orders or someone doing food delivery. This is alright of course, but this place is pretty small. So more than average foot traffic and door opening gets a bit much. The free hot tea on the table is a very nice touch, but cold water would be too. The service was ok, it seemed to be an all-hands-on deck weekday night as all staff were coming and going for tables and getting take-out orders going. So how was the sushi. Just ok... I went with my usuals - Spicy salmon and Yellow tail rolls. The Spicy Salmon was awesome, actually some of the best I've had, the Yellowtail was some of the worst I've had making for quite an interesting and mediocre sushi outing. The flavor of the yellowtail was eh and didn't look much better. I didn't even finish them which is rare for me not to finish something I usually enjoy, especially if I'm hungry. Even some of the standard salmon and eel rolls were lacking to me particularly in presentation and filling of the actual roll. The best thing about Musashi's though is that it is reasonably priced so there's that. Not the worst sushi experience I've had to be sure but I'd probably skip Musashi's despite it's cool name.

Anita C.

Yelp
I've been to Musashi at least once a month for their chirashi bowl. Usually I only go for Yellowtail and my bf go for all Salmon, but sometimes I get their original chirashi bowl with everything in it. The food was great, the only concern I have is their tuna. Sometimes the tuna is super grainy, sometimes is super fishy, but everything else is fresh and delicious. Their rolls are great and if you're a fan of scallops, their scallops nigiri (hotate) is a must! I always ordered it alongside my chirashi bowl

Jjay S.

Yelp
I've been coming to Musashi's for a couple years now, and it's always great! Located across the street from the Factoria mall, there's always ample parking. The interior is a bit small, with about 6-7 tables. You basically sit down at a table and go to the counter to order (they recently began accepting card!) The Chirashi bowl is definitely the highlight! I get this every time I come and it always hits. You can definitely taste the freshness of the fish, and it's very sizable for the price that you pay for it! There's also complementary tea at each table.

Yelp
The outside of this place looks a little janky and I was a bit hesitant to go in but honestly the inside was pretty nice! I really liked the spicy salmon roll, it tasted super fresh and delicious. The california rolls were ok. Not super great but not bad either (it's a cali roll so how bad could it get haha). The shrimp tempura rolls were yummy, with perfectly crispy shrimp tempura, and the musashi sushi was super fun. Lots of different flavors and toppings going on! Overall, the price was pretty good for the amount of sushi we got, and the quality of the sushi was pretty good. The only thing is that service was a bit on the slower side. They told us it would only take 10 minutes but we waited a while longer than that (like 20min). Not a big deal if you are dining in, but since we did takeout, I was hoping to get it when they said I would.

Yelp
This place used to be our go-to place for chirashi bowls. They had variety of fresh ingredients, offering good value for your hard-earned dollars. However, despite the higher prices, the quality has gone downhill. Tonight's chirashi bowl takeout had the worst tuna I've ever had; dry and looked freezer-burnt. I'm done spending my money here.
