Muse Coffee Studio is a great spot if you're looking for a calm and comfortable place to work. The coffee is really good and well made. What truly stands out is the space. It’s quiet, spacious, and very comfortable, with plenty of outlets and a setting that feels nicely isolated from outside distractions. It’s easy to focus and get work done here. Definitely a strong option if you need a productive, work-friendly coffee shop.

Wife surprised me with us heading to a Black-owned cafe location as our first stop in the city of Chicago. The vibe was amazing and the drinks were amazing. Music played gave a nice atmosphere too

Cozy coffee shop with an art and neighborhood focus. It's a bit hard to spot from the street and the front area looks small, but just past the counter the back area opens up to an area with large amounts of seating. Beans are from metric, both the drip and specialty were solid and the pastry we got was good. Music and ambiance were nice and I can see the back area as a great place to work, read, or write. Definitely worth stopping if you're nearby

Unique place with good coffee. There was a meeting going on in the adjoining room which is fine, but it meant listening to the conversation and not being able to view the art work. Coffee shop area had various chairs which don’t match but nothing wrong with quirky. Coffee was ok but not great - a little bitter and not a lot of aroma. Nice place for a unique experience

I had an amazing experience. I loved the Art, the energy, and, last but not least, the coffee! The brown sugar Latte did not disappoint.

I missed the pastries but will be back early next time! Love this space, very chill and aesthetic environment and the staff are personable. We’re adding to our list of cool coffee spots in the city!

My daughter and I really wanted to enjoy Muse. The setting and ambiance were wonderful. I loved the art work. I had the chai latte and it was a little bland and not too hot. I should have gone for the fire chai latte. My daughter had the brown sugar latte. She thought it was a little light on the coffee. I would give it another try if I lived in Chicago as I think they have great potential.

Super cute coffee shop in the tri-Taylor area. Super friendly staff and large, comfortable seating area in the back while you wait. I LOVE that they make their own flavored syrups here! I had the banana pudding chai which was very good. Would love to come back to try more drink options!

Amazing spot for coffee with plenty of tables and couches in the back to do work or hang out. The owner is extremely friendly and does his best on every single drink he makes. I tried the lavender latte and the matcha lavender latte and I loved that there is no additional charge for alternative milks! I got the drinks with almond milk and they were great! The lavender latte was a bitter stronger in the coffee with a hint of lavender and the lavender matcha had a nice blend of sweetness and quality matcha. Definitely recommend this spot for good quality coffee and chill vibes.

Amazing Lavender Latte. Owner is super friendly and took his time making our lattes. Honestly this place should host live shows or book clubs if they don't already do so, it's such a cool space.

Cute little place. Very little. Not much seating. One guy working there, and he was very nice. Price is about what you'd expect for a cute little coffee shop. I wouldn't have known about it except that I happen to be in the neighborhood when I was looking for a place to get a coffee. It's kind of small and unassuming. I would go back.

Jan 2021- New TriTaylor black-owned coffee spot has been only open a week and i stopped by! Serving Metric coffee--thumbs up. Owner George says his favorite color is purple and there are light accents under the wood and brick vibe. He's serving a basics menu to start, but it includes an on-theme lavender latte. Are just building their food menu but was happy to see Justice of the Pies! Larger exposed-brick back room will provide ample seating area when the time comes, and they plan on being able to multi-use the space.

This coffee shop has great vibes with a warming staff! Coffee is tasty with assorted bakery items. I can't wait to try the breakfast items! Must check out

Good chill vibes. Black owned- George is amazing. Lavender latte is bomb. The pastries are unique, had one with glaze and roses, it was so good! The back has additional seating with dope art work. One of the best coffee shops I've been to.

Chill vibes, house made syrups, and no extra cost for alternative milks? You've found the place for your coffee needs. The shop looks small but there's more seating in the back. I ordered a lavender latte with oat milk and it was made to perfection. I've tried many lavender lattes and this one does not have the cough syrupy taste a lot of places make theirs. The hours are a bit weird because there is a break in the middle of the day so check before you come.

I want to echo what past reviewers have loved about this place as I had one of the best experiences I've had at a coffee shop while here. Not only did the owner, George, give my friends and I our drinks on the house he also let us take our pick of free pastries from the cabinet. That level of generosity with high quality products is very meaningful and created such a welcoming environment. My matcha iced latte came out earthy and refreshing which is no small feat considering how finnicky matcha can be. I also tried a few bites of the cold brew donut and it was fresh with the perfect level of sweetness-can't wait to try the other pastries. There's plenty of space to work in the back as well as outlets so its' perfect for students. I will absolutely be back!

We love our new neighborhood coffee shop! Just down the street from where we live, Muse Coffee Shop has brought a much needed caffeine oasis. First and foremost, the coffee is incredible. Fresh brewed and high quality, they have everything you need from delicious drip coffee to decadent lattes. I love the Lavender latte made with their house made Lavender syrup. My husband loves the vanilla latte. Both are great hot or iced! And oat milk, almond milk, and whole milk to choose between. Yum! The drip coffee, hot or iced, is also top notch if you are looking for no-frills non-latte options. They also have non-coffee options like Matcha and scrumptious looking baked goods. We haven't tried those options yet but look forward to giving it a try in the future! The staff are wonderfully welcoming and helpful. We've loved every interaction! Also, the space is so clean, open, and fun! Cashless and with a street window, they were super safe during the pandemic! Thanks Muse! There are also lots of books to look through and educate yourself while you wait for your made-to-order drink. It's great! We are so thankful for this wonderful coffee shop in our neighborhood and we highly recommend you stop by the next time you're in the neighborhood!

My husband and I used to live in the area and stumbled upon this place while Visiting the Area. We were super Impressed with the ambiance and George was very welcoming. Yummy pastries and coffee!

What a gem! The Tri-Taylor area has been needing a great coffee spot for awhile & this is it! I ordered a hot mocha with oat milk & it was absolutely delicious! The interior has a great vibe & the owner is so kind. I am so glad this coffee studio is a part of our community! I will be back!

I went by today and met the Owner . He was featured on the news today being that this Black History month. The segment was about black brothers uniting and breaking down the stereotypes of men not being sensitive to receive other black men . Men like flowers as well and can receive them fro other men without a negative attachment. I want to support this business to show I want uplift our black brothers in business and hope that they heal to the wonderful men they were born to be. Please support this business I will be back!!!!

We stopped in this morning for a coffee. It was definitely a great choice. There was art to browse on the walls while you waited. The service was friendly along with the regulars that came through.

What a much needed addition to the Tri-Taylor neighborhood! Muse Coffee Studio has a cozy interior full of cool art and good vibes. George pulls an excellent expresso and the oat milk mocha was one of the best my partner and I have tried in the city! It's great to have a local coffee shop offering Metric coffee creations. You can even grab a luscious bakery item from Justice of The Pies to go with your caffeine fix, we'll be back soon!

The lavender coffee is so delicious!!! My daughter bought me my first cup the other day and as we drove away I took my first sip and felt such a relaxing sensation! As I finished my lavender coffee I realized I forgot to ask for sugar. But I then realized it didn't need it!!! I stopped by for another cup today and sat around. The lavender coffee did the trick again and the atmosphere was so delightful. Love the concept and will continue to stop for the lavender coffee!!

This spot is more than a coffee shop. It's an art gallery & community safe space. Every time I come I meet new people and really get that community Chicago feel. AND THE DRINKS ARE QUALITY. I tried their cardamom latte with oat milk and WOW. So BOMB.

I don't really know how to sum up how great Muse is except to say if I were to design every aspect of my perfect coffee shop, from the coffee and treats, to the physical feel, and the vibe/personal aspects, it would look and feel exactly like this place. Coffee and pastries are outstanding, pleasant conversation with the barista (I think the owner, George...?) is a treat, and the community feeling that's always present gives that final warm glow. The only thing I'd change would be to move it to my neighborhood :)

Very cool vibe. I ordered a mocha latte and a hazelnut crescent. My boyfriend ordered a vanilla latte and crescent. Excellent coffee served hot with lots of froth. The barista was Very sweet & the whole vibe is amazing.

Excellent new coffee shop in Tri-Taylor. The barista always warmly greets us and makes a great latte. There's a lot of open space for studying or chatting with friends. I recommend giving the lavender latte a try, but whatever you choose is sure to be delicious!

Randomly found this place on yelp across from my office and thought it was too good to be true until I walked in! This place is amazing :) Barista super helpful and friendly, my lavender latte was amazing not too sweet either which is a huge plus also the lavender tasted very natural, atmosphere was super cool chic and was extremely clean which is very important in these times!!!

Such a wonderful and cute coffee spot. The owner is very helpful very sweet and the coffee is absolutely phenomenal and their cold brew lavender donut is to die for. Muse Coffee Studio is a great space with high quality coffee and an authentic aesthetic. The owners intentional collaborations and community-centered vision make this studio a must support spot in the city. I'm grateful to have this space in the neighborhood.

This is a new business that has the guts to open up during COVID. The atmosphere is pleasing. The place is immaculately clean. Also, the owners are very kind and courteous. I highly recommend that everyone in the area support this newly opened business. We need more business like this in the area with great ownership and a pleasant atmosphere.

Definitely my new go to, amazing latte, amazing croissant, and amazing conversation! The owner just opened four weeks ago, but has really hit the ground running.

My partner and I decided to pop into Muse Coffee Studio for the first time today and I'm so happy we did! It's nice to see a new Black-owned business in the neighborhood and everyone is so friendly! The space is beautifully decorated and it'll be great once they're able to open the back seating area. We tried the vanilla latte and the lavender latte, and both were super tasty! Definitely looking forward to going back soon!
