We recently enjoyed a 5-course dinner at this charming spot, and overall, it was a lovely experience. The food was excellent—refined but not fussy, with thoughtful flavors that didn’t try too hard to impress. Each course felt intentional and well-prepared, showcasing quality ingredients and a steady hand in the kitchen.
The real standout, though, was the service. From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about our experience. The ambiance added to the experience—a crackling fireplace gave the space a relaxed, welcoming vibe, perfect for a slow evening.
That said, the pacing of the meal left a bit to be desired. It took about 2.5 hours for just the two of us to get through all five courses, which felt a little long, especially when there were noticeable gaps between dishes. While it gave us time to savor the atmosphere, a slightly quicker tempo would’ve helped balance the evening better.
All in all, this is a great spot for a relaxed, intimate meal—just be prepared to linger.
