Amazing museum of Modern Art with art from Poland and Eastern Europe! The building is amazing inside. It's external view is a discussible topic but time will show the truth. Additional thank you for having some workshops in Ukrainian! It gives opportunity for more people to deep dive into important things that you are doing for Poland and Europe!

The latest - and probably most debated - addition to the Warsaw cultural scene. It seems that the building itself has stirred emotions, but this is the whole point of architecture and art, I guess. What I like about the building is that it prompts one to stop and look. It challenges conventions and triggers curiosity about what's hidden inside. And the interior is simply amazing, flooded with natural light and space - lots of space. This is important because the building doesn't feel claustrophobic but at the same time the visitor doesn't feel crushed by the sheer size of it. The internal staircases and landings seem to allude to M.C. Escher's drawings, while providing excellent crowd control through parallel access routes to each floor. At the same time, the lines of the internal structures merge into beautiful symmetries, depending on the angle of viewing. It's a masterpiece of aesthetics. The exhibitions are interesting and poignant, often with strong challenging messages. The visitor can relax and reflect in one of the beautiful wood paneled rooms, each with a wide window offering different views of the city, or on the top floor open terrace. In my view, the museum is absolutely worth visiting, both for the exhibition and for the fantastic architecture. After complete destruction and half a century of communist austerity, Warsaw is very much a work in progress, on the urban, cultural and healing levels. This museum and the surrounding square reflect just that.

An interesting museum, unlike any I've visited in other countries. I was impressed by the cartoon about the war in Ukraine. Tickets are freely available. No need to buy in advance.

I enjoyed some of the art pieces but they were all rather confusing and difficult to understand at times. The statues sculptures stood out to me the most, and the layout of the building was nice. When I went there were also tickets for students sold for just 1zł, which I also found as a nice touch.

I loved it! There are so many rooms with surprising exhibits that are weird, thought-provoking, and cool. The space itself is beautiful, featuring huge ceilings, wood, stone, and metal, which create a modern and calming atmosphere. I highly recommend getting the audio guide, as it really helps you understand what’s happening and enhances the overall experience. The music inside adds a great touch, too. Plus, there’s a nice café downstairs where you can relax and grab a bite to eat.

I went there with friends. All of us were so disappointed with the Museum of Modern Art. Although the place itself is so big, there were not much to see over there. We felt like the space is not used very well. If it comes to art, the exhibition is definitely lacking Polish Modert Art. How come such a place is so poor if it comes to pieces of art of our own artist. Of course art from abroad is more than welcome, but approximetely, 95% of it was not Polish. So sad and disappointing that we do not support our great artist. And even worst, the art itself was not sth really thought-provocking. Just mediocre. We had the feeling, that it was randomly picked pieces. Also, shame that our own language is placed often at the end of the descriptions (it was even shocking for visitors from the abroad as we were hearing conversations of tourists). I've been to many museums around the world and always the first language of the descriptions, was the one of the place where I was, later English and others. Here - me and my friends felt like our own culture and language is downgraded. In so many dimensions this place is disappointing. Not mentioning the outside architecture, which totally doesn't fit the surrounding.

The building is modern and impressive with endless stairway, huge wooden and stainless doors. Lots of space. Nice exhibition, but weren't enough exhibits for me, just maybe 3-5 works were worthwhile. A question has been nagging at me: How was this building allowed to be build in front of the national landmark?

It’s not a place that can really carry the weight of being presented to people under the name of “Modern Art.” Inside this huge building, there are only a few so-called artistic objects being exhibited in large empty rooms, and it really didn’t satisfy me at all. I expected it to be much more filled and engaging. In my opinion, it’s a place that ends up being quite a waste of time. I would recommend spending that time visiting much better museums instead.
