"Just 100 metres along from Bardot, pay a visit to the Finnish Museum of Photography, located within the Kamp Galleria shopping centre’s basement. The ever-changing gallery depicts scenes from the city’s more recent history." - The MICHELIN Guide Nordic Editorial Team
It is a photo gallery in the center of Helsinki. It hosts interesting exhibitions like the forests of the North wind that is live this period. It worth a visit to admire the work and learn things about the presented subject.

I had the good fortune of stumbling upon Tyler Mitchell’s photography exhibition at the Photography Museum in the Kämp Gallery, and it was truly enriching and inspiring. The work resonated deeply with me, reflecting aspects of life I’ve experienced and revealing meaningful parallels. Exploring further context online only deepened my appreciation. It was a powerful and thought-provoking experience that left a lasting impression.

Museum of Photography K1 is a hidden gem in Kämp Galleria, Kluuvi. The museum is located in the basement one floor down from street level. The exhibition changes quite frequently and most times offers something worth checking out.

The exhibition was interesting but it was only one, no more artists , no more explanations.
Expensive and It’s not worth it

I am slightly disappointed as I expected a proper museum focused on Finnish photography with occasional international exhibitions. However, I learned nothing about local lenspeople. It took me 15 minutes to see just another contemporary photo exhibition based more on concepts than real photo work. I am sure there's a lot to showcase about Finland's finest photographers, and it doesn't certainly fit in a small gallery.

Good place, but very small and a bit overpriced for the size of the exhibition space, little nice shop which hasn't been renewing their products in the past 5 years.

Not a museum. It's a really tiny art gallery located on the lowest floor of a mall. Basically two medium rooms with the art pieces and a 'gift shop' with random home appliances, mostly unrelated to photography.
While the exhibition we saw was interesting, the whole thing feels misleading and hardly worth the admission price.

This is not a museum. It’s a tiny set of two rooms that charges an outrageous 16 euro. Felt like a totally corrupt hustle. Mediocre work in what is basically a hallway at a ridiculous price.
