The Museum of the Palestinian People is such a beautiful and moving space. Every part of it is so thoughtfully put together, sharing Palestinian history, culture, and personal stories in a way that’s both powerful and human. I loved how the exhibits blended art, artifacts, and personal narratives it really brought everything to life. The volunteers were so welcoming and knowledgeable, and you can tell how much they care about preserving and sharing these stories. I left feeling both inspired and more connected to my heritage.

*cracks knuckles* okay all you zios down there, we see you with your 1 star reviews without a detailed review. The museum is small (like the lands that Israel have left for Palestinians unfortunately) but it’s mighty (like the Palestinian people). Wafa did a great job curating what she did. I’m so happy there’s a place that showcases who we are. I hope it continues to grow and be a cornerstone in the plight for Palestinian freedom.

Small but packs a punch. Very interesting exhibits that change every few months. The best part is that docents guide visitors through the exhibits while infusing stories of their own families. They also have a great collection of art some of which can be purchased.

What a beautiful place. My friend and I had a great time during the tour and looking at the exhibits. The people running it are so friendly and kind! This was on my bucket list while I was in DC for the summer, and I'm so glad I was able to visit!!

Absolutely interesting. The workers there were extremely kind and very knowledgeable. One of them told us about the living conditions of Palestinians in Lebanon, being a Palestinian/Lebanese himself. Excellent guide. The lady at the entrance was a delight. I really appreciated that there is a library next to the museum. I highly recommend this museum.

Very informative!! They are using what they can which is not a lot since many historical artifacts have been destroyed.

Took the 12pm tour with Leila, who was very knowledgeable and led a good tour! Small museum, so don’t expect to spend a whole day there. With the tour and exhibits, I spent 90 minutes there

Beautiful and cozy place. Probably the smallest museum I've been to size-wise, but it more than makes up for it with quality and quantity of content. Very powerful exhibits and very ingeniously curated. Hat's off to everyone involved for this masterpiece of a Hidden Gem!

Yelp
A very nice museum that displays a lot of what you need to know about Palestine. Run by a great team of employees and volunteers who dedicate their time to give tours about Palestine. For a $10 donation, you will learn more about the culture, the people and what makes the country special!

Yelp
A small but mighty museum! The highlights are definitely the volunteers/guides who are invaluable resources, energetic and provide a personal experience. Although they do offer tours at the top of every hour, a volunteer will likely be available at any time while they're open to explain and answer any questions you may have. They also have free sage tea! :) I don't know much about the Palestinian diaspora so it felt very powerful to learn more. I also really loved how much the museum showed the power and resilience of Palestinian women. The museum is organized into time periods - the past, the present, and cultural/future (roughly, I may be remembering this wrong). There is currently a beautiful exhibit of calligraphy and poetry. For now, they are only open on Saturdays 12-6 but you can book a group tour. They also have a virtual tour on their website! The museum is the size of an office because it used to be an office space, but because of all of the interaction with the guides we spent more than an hour here. In a time when Palestine is making global headlines, it is important that a museum like this exist to tell the people's and immigrant stories. Look forward to their plans for expansion!

Yelp
Small but a great experience and rich in culture. The staff is great and this is a great place to support. The tours are about an hour and are very informative. All questions are welcomed and any and all ethnicities are warmly welcomed to visit. Whether you are a Palestinian scholar or no nothing about the region, this is a very worthy stop to add to your DC list.

Yelp
Amazing gem of a place, do not miss out. It's small, but full of rich stories, artifacts and art. Tour is personalized and I learned so much. This place is tucked away from hustle and bustle of National mall, cute stores next door, including chocolate store and book store and lots of places to eat right around area. We made this place and surrounding area about entire destination for the day.

Yelp
Excellent museum and experience. They immediately offered us tea when we arrived, very delicious. The tour was very in depth and informative, we were there for a little over an hour. They really went into all the aspects of the Palestinian experience: our history, our struggle, our art, our resilience, and our people. Guide answered all my questions well, including ones my grandparents and professors could not answer. Loved this so much, please go support!!! Also they have gender neutral bathrooms!

Yelp
Excellent! Check times. Open is limited. Small but with excellent speaker to help you understand Palestine history and in the news. Everyone should visit. Very small but allow at least 45 minutes, if you can, to hear the talk about exhibits and ask a lot of questions. Plus there are good restaurants across the street.

Yelp
Super super nice & accommodating! I had bought tickets for 9/4 & we had an unexpected issue pop up. Called the museum & they were super kind & understanding and changed my ticket to be for next weekend. The young woman on the phone was very sweet, we are looking forward to seeing the museum & learning more about Palestine.

Yelp
The people who created the museum did an amazing job of bringing all the elements of Palestine into one room. The workers explained each piece so well, they educated us with things we weren't aware about. And I hope the museum becomes more and more popular for everybody to be educated on Palestine; it is so important to understand what had happened to the country. Highly recommend going !!!!
