My teacher recommended this establishment, and I’m so elated to have walked through those doors pa mi primer vez! All of the staff assisted me in getting my very first electric! I named him Azul! 💙 Super mega thanks to all you guys for helping me out today, it was actually monumental for me! ✨ They have a great selection of guitars and guitar accessories. And even better prices!! 💯

Everyone here is super cool. I felt no pressure and took my time looking around and seeing everything they have. They gave me a great price on my trade in gear and got me into a new amp that I'm super excited about.

The employees are very pleasant and knowledgeable. The product is amazing for the price.

Great place to swap out gear or get rid of equipment that is just taking up space. The people were very kind and thorough. I liked the option of getting cash or store credit. There are both high-end and lower model guitars, so you have a variety of options if you want to trade for something you may need. It also feels good to know there is a place in town where musicians can get great gear at affordable prices.

Really cool place. Had a wide variety of instruments and accessories both new and used to select from. Staff was kind, but slow to ask if I needed help with anything.

over the years, I’ve done a lot of business with these people through desperation and never thought about taking the time to actually write a review on my experiences with them. They are kinda nice, but they do not care about the customer. i’ve Brought them thousands of dollars worth of gear for them to rip me off royally every single time. i’ve bought thousands of dollars worth of gear from them to be just charged way too much. Brought in a Over $1000 mixer and they were too freaking lazy to test it out and buy it. The Guitar tech Max is awesome but he charges way too much for work. Starving artists can’t afford good gear anymore because people like this sell used gear for high retail market value. They are ripping you off for your expensive gear and then selling it for top dollar. I will not be shopping with these people or doing business with this establishment anymore.

Couldn't be happier. Great selection of used equipment (those seeking brand new gear will want to look elsewhere) and great staff. They took the time to give great insight and reccomendations, without being pushy. My new music shop of choice in the Springs.

Probably one of my best purchasing experiences! Bought a used Krank Krankenstien Jr online. The staff sent an email informing me they tested all the functions to make sure everything worked properly and let me know it was in great condition and included the footswitch. The packing job was top notch and I was surprised to find the owners manual which is almost impossible to find on the web. Thank you to the staff for a great experience!

Eric and C took incredible care of me. I came in to buy a guitar from someone else and they helped me string it, looked at it, and taught me about it without the promise of a purchase. They then helped me pick out an amp. Incredibly satisfied with my purchase, and customer service was A+. Very honest folks. will be back!

This is one of The worst places I've ever had to do business with tried to rip me off on two guitairs 2.400 value offered 900.00 for both The guitairs are brand new wouldn't Buy a guitair pick from this place

The staff has always been tremendously, helpful, very engaging with conversation and eager to assist when they can. I use them all the time as I am a professional musician. love this place!

Horrible service. High prices. High pressure our experience was despicable. When I brought in my young daughter to try some instruments we were treated like a bother. The one "owner" had her holding back tears before we left.

I asked the repairman Max if he could reset the neck on my 1972 Martin D-18, and he said sure Then he explained how he would push glue into the joint to do that. I explained to him that the neck is actually removed from the dovetail joint, and then reshimmed, and he became argumentative and kept holding onto my guitar, telling me he wanted to glue it. I insisted he give my guitar back, I am leaving. When I discussed the issue with the manager on the way out, how Max had attempted to destroy my beloved guitar, he became very defensive, told me Max was his good friend, and cut our conversation short. Never push glue into a dovetail joint. Always remove the neck and reshim. And now I go for my barf bag, this is unbelievable.

I bought an amp from them and didn't use it because I didn't have a cab for it. Two months later I bought a cab and the amp didn't work. They said they won't pay for the repair because it was past 30 since I had bought it. Basically, they sold me a broken amp and then refused to help me out.

I don't play, but my husband does. We've been here a couple of times. I like to look at all the guitars and they have a lovely acoustic play room. Meanwhile, my husband finds a new to him peddle or yet another amp. He seems to like this store very much.

We had a wonderful experience in this store. Zac, in particular, was wonderful; however, everyone was very friendly and went above and beyond to help. The friendliest music store we've been in. I also really appreciated how dedicated they were for helping us well beyond what we expected. We will be back.

We have been trying to recycle some old but very functional music equipment. The folks at Music Go Round were willing to work with us by email so we took 3 items to the store. The first thing you notice is the staff acknowledging your presence as you enter the store. Customer service was excellent with us as well as with the other customers. The staff checked out the 3 items and made us a generous offer which we accepted. It was a win-win. The store got some great used equipment, and we were pleased to recycle the stuff. I had a chance to look around the store. Lots of very nice used and new music instruments and equipment. We appreciate being treated with courtesy and respect. Music Go Round gets a strong recommendation.

Well, well, well..... Whats a Californian doing writing about a local business in Colorado Springs? Well Im GLAD you asked! I was online looking for my dream guitar amp. The amp Ive lusted over LITERALLY for 15 years. Never had the scratch to get one... but things change as time goes on and I found myself in the market. Since the internet is such an awesome tool, it led me to musicgoround.com. I searched and found my dream amp! Its a Mesa/Boogie Dual Rectifier Tremoverb 100w head and it was located in Colorado Springs, CO. The listing had some good pictures, was in really good shape and was at a VERY reasonable price WITH a preset shipping price laid out. Scratch that, considering this amp has been out of production for over a decade, it was a FANTASTIC price. After a few days of sleeping on it I decided to purchase it. The online buying experience was very efficient, with a few messages to the buyer about packing times, what to expect, whats done to the instrument prior to shipping out, when to expect it etc. Times were realistic and as stated. I did call the store to ask about its status but they LITERALLY had just shipped it off to UPS to send it on its way. The tracking number was automatically emailed to me. When I received the package containing my amp I must say I was impressed. EXTREMELY well bubble wrapped. Literally every inch of the interior of that box and around the amp itself was WELL protected for its journey to me. Not only that, but ALL the preamp, power amp AND rectifier tubes were carefully removed and individually bubble wrapped and placed in their own protective box. Whoever packed the amp at the store THANK YOU!!! I plugged them all in, turned on the main power and not a single hiccup! After a minute or two to let the tubes warm up I switched her off standby and wow...wow... WOW!!!! Not a single darn issue with the amp! Quickly dialed in some rough settings and played for over an hour... sounded exactly as I remembered it 10000% AWESOME!!! Functionality was a SOLID 100%, no issues at all. One VERY minor tick, no power cable was included with the amp, but my roommate had an extra one lying around so no big deal. Overall a very solid buying experience from musicgoround.com and specifically the store in Colorado Springs, CO. 100% recommend them!

I've been renting a flute from another place for a couple of years and finally decided to buy one. The other place wasn't very helpful and charged a fortune for a used flute. Music Go Round had good prices and helped me find a great flute for my daughter. Plus they have a return policy that if it didn't work for my daughter or if the band teacher didn't approve of it, I could bring it back for a full refund. No issue though, since they helped me get the one she needed.

From a drummers perspective not much is going on in that store and when I tried to sell them my cymbals I got the worst deal EVER for two cymbals worth a lot of money. Needless to say I'll stick to selling my gear to my go to music store. Don't sell your drum gear to them.

They will try to steal your equipment by offering you $100 for a $350 guitar, $100 amp, and a case for the guitar. Borderline insulting. Just go to guitar center because they offered at least $100 more for the same equipment.
